I can absolutely recommend HesseWirtschaft! There are delicious starters, main courses and dessert. The schnitzels are large and are probably made in a cast iron pan. There is a weekly menu that is always interesting. Vegetarians are also taken into account and regional products are available. The ambience could be improved a bit (it's more like a better sports restaurant) and card payment would be great. Unfortunately, payment is only possible in cash or via PayPal.

We made a reservation at short notice and still got 9 places. Everyone was thrilled with the dessert, which was actually way too much anyway. Special praise for the service, which was very friendly and helpful despite the guesthouse being almost fully booked. We'd love to come back

Very tasty schnitzel and great spaetzle. The fries are also exceptionally good. We had a side salad and didn't manage to finish it all, quite large portions. We will be back!

To this day I always enjoy eating here. Today, however, the schnitzels were absolutely dry and tasteless. When I complained over the phone that the schnitzels were inedible, I was not taken seriously and was more or less brushed off. The lady was rude and completely inappropriate for a good restaurant. I would have expected at least an apology.

Very pleasantly surprised This is the third time we've been here and it's great to be here every time. A bit inconspicuous from the outside, but a real insider tip. You wouldn't expect the ambience like that with lots of wood and a great look. But the start of the evening is the food. There is nothing to complain about in terms of taste and you can also take your hat off from the portion sizes. The goulash is really tender and the spaetzle is hand scraped. The green sauce also tastes very good. The normal schnitzel is a really large portion and the fried potatoes are very tasty. As a dessert I can recommend the Kaiserschmarrn, and the chocolate cake also goes very well to round off a good meal. All in all, a clear recommendation

Unfortunately the food wasn't good. The breading on the schnitzel was thicker and the meat was very dry, and the sauce that came with it was tasty but not enough for the schnitzel and fries. To get a meal like this for so much money is a complete rip-off. That was our last visit. A pity.

I've eaten better. Turkey schnitzel with spaetzle sauce was good. Turkey schnitzel was very lightly seasoned. Spaetzle tasted like it was bought and not like it was homemade. Schnitzel with the Hesse sauce oversalted, schnitzel seasoned without salt and pepper, fries like soggy mush, salt wasn't seasoned either, everything in all, the dishes only satisfied the hunger but a taste experience. God knows this wasn't for the price

After many years we ordered from Hesse Wirtschaft again, and it happened as it had to. After a few forkfuls, my wife found a crispy tiger's neck in her food, which should never be eaten. She has lost her appetite. After complaining over the phone, a new portion was offered, but it was also pointed out that "the kitchen is in the forest and this could happen, there are so many portions of cheese spaetzle prepared, something like this can happen." In my opinion, quality control and quality of the food should have a higher priority! The provider will now reimburse you for the meal. Let's wait and see if this works.

All the waitresses were very friendly and funny. The waiter this evening made us smile a lot. Food very delicious. I really like the atmosphere and it's very relaxed in the evening. P.s. the schnitzels are to die for We like to come here more often.

I've been eating at Hessewirtschaft for several years. The owners have changed and the food was sometimes super tasty, right down to the dishwashing sponge being baked into the schnitzel. Then Corona came and I could only order for illness-related reasons... All orders were overpriced, inedible and delivered incorrectly even after waiting at least 1.5 hours. I complained several times by phone and was promised vouchers. Last week I ordered a veal schnitzel with onions and fried potatoes. I got a mashed schnitzel with soft sweet potatoes for €32. That didn't taste like anything! Called, clearly voucher again... haven't heard anything yet. I'll never order again!

We were there after a civil wedding. From the outside it's quite inconspicuously located next to a tennis club. Very nice atmosphere inside. Very courteous service and delicious food at absolutely fair prices. HesseWirtschaft is absolutely recommended

The first time I ate large schnitzel was really very good 👍 the second time with my wife, I ordered a burger with 300g of meat, unfortunately the meat was dry and the cheese was just as dry, even though it had been in the kitchen for several hours. I gave Hessenwirtschaft a second chance after the schnitzel burned on one side a year ago. Unfortunately this time too it was a disappointment! Schnitzel clearly from the fat bath of a fryer! Sauce was watery and thin in taste! Fries were limp and had no crispiness! The price-performance ratio is absurdly wrong! I've eaten better schnitzel at motorway service stations! CONCLUSION: No thanks, never again!

Very nice restaurant. Service was very friendly. Drinks were served very quickly. The food was also delicious. Schnitzels were incredibly big. You have to order salad separately. To my great delight, delivery came much quicker than expected. The portion was huge and the food was very tasty and still almost hot. I last ordered about 3 years ago and was disappointed by both the extremely long delivery time and the portion size that was far too small. So praise today. I can recommend it again!

That's the way it has to be . Ribs about 3cm thick and also well priced. Restaurant is a bit difficult to find in the forest. A sign at the entrance would be helpful.

Waren heute zum Hochzeitstag spontan ohne Reservierung dort. Haben ein schönes Plätzchen noch bekommen. Ist wirklich sehr schön dort, kommen auf jedenfall wieder. Bedienung war mega nett und sehr zuvorkommend hat man heut zutage kaum noch. Essen ging super flott, trotz vollem Haus. Also nur zu empfehlen.

Schnitzeljagd. Montags ist Schnitzeltag. Und bisher habe ich in Rhein-Main noch kein besseres Schnitzel gegessen.

Nicht übel ...nur bitte kochen sie nicht mit Rapsöl....das macht echt das essen kaputt.... Und es ist nicht günstig bei euch .!

Es ist eine schöne Gaststätte in einer ruhigen Lage Essen ist gut und Parkplätze gleich am Eingang.

Wir kamen uns störend vor, eine Nachfrage zu einem Gericht vor der Bestellung war wohl zuviel, Kellnerin ging weg und polierte weiter Gläser. Also sind wir ohne zu bestellen auch wieder gegangen. Schade, hatten uns darauf gefreut.

Brutal lecker, Parkplätze da, drinnen/draußen herrlich zu sitzen. Essen gut bürgerlich, so wie man es nicht mehr oft findet! Preislich ein wenig höher aber es lohnt sich! 😀

Tasty gulasch, and massive schnitzel as others have mentioned, with well made hausgemacht spätzle. We also got the dry aged beef which was immensely delicious.
