A small, family-run Georgian restaurant, an insider tip in Offenbach. The highlight for us were the filled pasta pockets, the taste was simply amazing, you should order them when you are here. The chicken in walnut sauce was also very tasty. The service was very nice and answered all questions. We'd love to come back.

We had dinner at GEMO with the team. It was a very interesting culinary experience. Personally, I found the pchali, eggplant with walnut cream, chicken in garlic cream and the filled pasta pockets very tasty! The atmosphere is very living room-like with lots of traditional decoration. The restaurant was full, which is why service was very slow. But I would come back at some point just for the food.

It’s the best Georgian Restaurant in Germany! We’ve tested serveral restaurants across the country but this is absolutely perfect! The quality of the food, the people and the price is amazing. A very cosy, atmospheric restaurant. The owners are real Georgians who create a unique atmosphere of their homeland. You can choose any dish - you won't go wrong. Or you can ask the waiter for a recommendation if you are trying Georgian cuisine for the first time.

Khinkali like in Tbilisi. The food is very tasty and the service is incredibly friendly. I can only recommend eating here.

Today, my wife and I visited this small, cozy and head-to-toe Georgian kitchen, and I would like to mention that, unfortunately, we are not often so lucky as we are today. I will order khinkali with cheese and khinkali, kebab, eggplant with walnuts and mchadi. Both khinkals have 12 points out of 10. Kebab has 10 points out of 10, Eggplant with Nuts has 9 points out of 10 and Mchad has 10 points out of 10. Many thanks to this small family restaurant ❤️ P.S. Dusseldorf, Berlin, Hanover, Dortmund, etc. Restaurateurs, go in, taste and then talk to your chefs, I think you will really benefit from this experience.

The starters were very tasty. Very nice owners. However, the waitresses are very overwhelmed when the restaurant is full. I find it outrageous for fried potatoes 8 euros, ketchup and mayo 2.50 euros per portion. The fried potatoes on the grill plate were cold and the lamb was very dry. Here I was hoping for a catering-oriented approach. The beer garden in the courtyard was a bit dreary.

I have lived in Offenbach for 10 years. Service serves at its own pace, so one or the other customer is more friendly than the other. You are welcome to have the experience. My food arrived cold after 1 hour 15 minutes, including I have never been treated and served so unfriendly by a waitress, please note this. In no way am I trying to spread hate or anything like that, just trying to spare “one or the other” the experience. It's a shame we were treated like that. No recommendation.

Very cozy Georgian cuisine restaurant. Very welcoming personnel, great food at reasonable prices. You will be satisfied by the hospitality and the flow of the place. Shashlik and hinkalii are my favorite dishes here

I really liked the khinkali, khachapuri and wine (sweet red and white). It's worth coming back for them. Chicken kebab is normal. The presentation is beautiful and with soul. service is generally good.

We went with russian friends to taste for the first time Georgian cuisine. It was the first time that we tried these dishes and we liked them 😋the atmosphere is friendly. The service could be better, we had to wait long time and many times my friend went to call the waiter. Overall the food was good and I would recommend it.

I highly recommend it. Khinkali dish number 1. Dish number 2 - Khachapuri. Chacha was also pleasantly surprised and delighted with Georgian wines. The food was filling, we barely ate it. We are very pleased, we will come again.

Everything is good, but stuff is too slow

We had a wonderful evening with great food (the aubergines with walnuts and the bread with double cheese, also brilliant, the beetroot salad and an excellent honey cake at the end) were wonderful and we will be happy to come back. The dishes are prepared with love and very tasty, the red wine Makuzani was also great. After some initial chaos, despite a reservation, the service was very pleasant and friendly. There's a construction site on the terrace outside and it's not particularly comfortable at the moment. Which is why we were happy to move into the air-conditioned interior when it was over 30°.

I went to Gemo with my parents because we always found Georgian cuisine particularly delicious and we weren't wrong! There are very nice and hospitable people working at Gemo who will be happy to help you with your selection. The food is 10/10, very tasty, served relatively quickly too. Our absolute recommendation: Eggplant, Khachapuri Adjar and Georgian beetroot salad with Tkimali 🥹♥️ Very good, only recommended!!!

Hello everyone! It was just terrible!!! Yesterday on June 22nd, 2024 we wanted to visit the Gemo restaurant, we wanted to celebrate a birthday and called a week ago and got a table for 8 PERSONS! reserved. Yesterday when we finally arrived (we drove over 120 km there to visit this restaurant) everyone was busy doing their things (we had an old lady with us and she didn't even have a place to sit down). It was very The restaurant was dirty and it itself was very small. In addition, the EM Germany was playing there at maximum volume. And what do you think? Was there a table available for 8 people??No! I arrive at the specified time and have to wait with all 8 people. Everyone has passed us. What kind of sloppiness is this? Me as a customer Terrible GEMO! You could earn over €400! But thanks to you, you missed out! We left the restaurant. Oh well, in the restaurant you smoke right in the building while you eat! It's a shame, we were looking forward to your food!

Nice traditional Georgian restaurant with friendly atmosphere and fast and perfect service. What I suggest to order is definitely Khinkali (georgian dumplings) with Tkemali sauce if you like to - please eat them right with hands, take the tail part and slowly bite the opposite in order not to get burned by hot filling, Imeruli (round dough cake filled with Georgian cheese), Kharcho-soup, Borjomi (famous mineral water from Georgia). There are many more tasty food, but for us it will be for the next time. And yes, once you do not drive a car as I did today, highly recommend to try Georgian Wine - Khvanchkara, Kindzmarauli or Saperavi. They all have distinct taste and realy tasty. Highly recommend to visit this restaurant with family, friends or colleagues. For the weekend try to book a table in advance to get a guaranteed place.

I'm also going to write my review because I really expected the food to be good but that's not the case. I'll start with the living room and the kitchen, everything doesn't look very clean, especially the kitchen, you can see that when you go to the toilet. The kebab was tough and one of our guests refused to eat it. Usually khinkali is prepared with cheese, here with grainy cottage cheese. It's not tasty. I took a photo and then noticed when I got home that even the dishes were broken. I will not recommend this establishment to my friends. Unfortunately.

So the staff should be somewhat customer-oriented. The food... well... The main point of criticism is actually the staff and their treatment of the guests

Celebrated my birthday here. It was very tasty and soulful. And by German standards it’s also inexpensive. I'll be happy to come again.

We ate deliciously! The staff is top notch, kind and cheerful! Everything is beautiful! I'll definitely come again! What we didn’t finish, we wrapped up carefully, today we warmed it up at home and ate it with gusto!

Khachapuri is very tasty. My daughter couldn’t tear herself away from the kebab. Thanks for the delicious food.

I've never eaten Georgian before but I'm thrilled. The dumplings with broth and minced meat are a dream and the grilled chicken liver was super tasty. My partner had some kind of pie filled with minced meat which was also great. Service friendly and attentive. The garden is an oasis in the middle of the city. Price/performance ratio incorrigible. Will come back and try more specialties.

We had dinner on a Tuesday. The restaurant was moderately busy and was relatively unassuming. The food was fantastic. Fresh, tasty, plentiful... as far as the host is concerned, we almost felt like we were being treated like family. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. In terms of drinks, we can particularly recommend the “special” ChaCha. ;) As a tip: The only thing that isn't worth it compared to the great Georgian dishes are the fries. Because they are the only thing that is frozen (the operator tried to dissuade us from having fries, but unfortunately we didn't understand it)… otherwise, as mentioned, everything is absolutely fresh and delicious, we haven't eaten so well in a long time. For good food and… a few drinks, around €50 per nose is also completely fine. All available thumbs up!

There's nothing like Georgian home cooking. After many years of being a regular at Genazvale, Berlin, we were really spoiled, but were not disappointed here: delicious, varied, fresh and carefully crafted. Always my pleasure.

The food, especially the dumplings and the eggplant with walnut sauce, tasted very tasty and there were also options for vegetarians 😍 Although my girlfriend and I didn't enjoy the Georgian lemonade that much (artificial), the food was very good! The dishes I ordered (Kharcho and Khachapuri)- tasted excellent! The service was good. The ambience is ok. I have to particularly emphasize the low prices, we haven't had such delicious food at these prices for a long time. We'll definitely be back!

A real Georgian restaurant where real Georgians cook. Insanely delicious khinkali. The cost of 1 piece is 1.7 €. Order from 3 pieces of one type. Good kebab. But I liked the satsivi chicken less, because it was made from homemade chicken, it was tough. I didn’t really like the wine either, but I probably should have taken something else. Delicious lemonade with pear.

We were visiting friends and had dinner there in the evening. From the outside the restaurant is rather inconspicuous and we didn't have the wow effect when we went in, but the food was really fantastic. It was our first time visiting a Georgian and we didn't know our way around, but our acquaintances did. We ordered once from Schebb to Schräg, across the menu, mainly starters, so that we could try everything. The food came little by little, which we found very good because it gave us time to try everything in peace. The food tasted very good, especially the dumplings. Only the ambience and the space at the front door dampened the mood a bit. In my opinion, I can only recommend the restaurant.

I loved this place, until one moment. Recently I decided to visit a restaurant with a young man, we booked an hour before arrival, we were told yes of course, come, there are places. It took us an hour and a half to get there, but in the end we arrived, the restaurant was full, they set a table for us RIGHT AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE TOILET! They said there were no other places. So if there are no free places, why say on the phone that there is a free place and set it right next to the toilet, not even opposite the table, but right at the entrance to the toilet, absurd. They left in a terrible mood and just wasted their time.

It is a family owned georgian restaurant, filled with cozy athmosphere and tasty smell. We came during the busy hour and still managed to get a table! The Megruli with extra sulguni cheese and Khinkali were unspeakably delicious.

Don't expect overly authentic Georgian atmosphere - it's a cafe, not restaurant. Main thing - the food is marvelous, staff is very friendly and speaks perfect Georgian and German.

The woman with the short curly hair is such a terrible waitress the food might be good but she makes okay ish but interacting with her is worth never coming back to this place again. Bad bad bad just bad everything bad . Absolutely a big NO NEVER.

Essen außerordentlich gut, Service sehr zuvorkommend, sowohl für Kinder als auch auswärtige Gäste. Bei passender Stimmung werden bei Bedarf die Tische zur Seite geschoben und Musik gemacht am späteren Abend. Wir fahren gerne auch von weiter weg her. Danke !

Das Essen schmeckt super aber der Laden ist leider unter aller Sau geführt. Total unzuverlässig. Die Damen und Herren sind bereits ab 3,4 belegten Tischen derart überfordert, dass man teilweise ewig warten muss oder gar nicht erst einen Tisch angeboten bekommt. Vor allem kriegt man aber so gut wie nie etwas zum Mitnehmen, weil *es gibt jedes Mal eine andere schlechte Ausrede*.

Wir haben in GEMO unsere Weihnachtsfeier gefeiert und waren sehr zufrieden. Die georgischen Spezialitäten waren wirklich lecker.

Immer sehr lecker. Nicht zu vergleichen mit der türkischen oder deutschen Küche. Alles selbst gemacht, sogar die Desserts. Abends wird’s immer sehr voll. Ich empfehle, vor allem in den kalten Monaten, wo die Terrasse geschlossen ist, zu reservieren.

Dass das Lokal voll war und ein wenig Wartezeit für einen Spontanbesuch nötig war, spricht für sich. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Gerne wieder, kann das Gemo nur weiter empfehlen.

Innendrin, da die Sommerterrase über Winter zu hat, ist einbisschen zu hell und einbisschen zu laut. Ansonsten sehr sehr leckeres Essen, sehr liebe, lustige Bedienung. Wir kommen bestimmt noch tausende Male und essen uns durch die Speisekarte😘 Danke an das ganze Team!

Ich mag dieses Restaurant,.das Essen schmeckt hier hervorragend, Bedienung ist sehr nett, Atmosphäre sehr familiär und die Preise sind im Ordnung! Ich würde noch mehr georgische Musik wünschen und vielleicht bisschen das Aussehen von Restaurant auffrischen, damit es auch von außen mehr überzeugt. Ansonsten - top, 5 Sterne und immer wieder gerne! 😘😘😘

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, das Personal ist freundlich und lächelt. Die dort arbeitende Dame spricht mehrere Sprachen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen.

Das Restaurant sieht von außen sehr unscheinbar aus. Auch der Innenbereich ist nicht wirklich einladend, dennoch war das Restaurant gut besucht und jeder Tisch besetzt. Wir hatten Gott sei Dank eine Tisch für 5 Personen gebucht. Aber auch kein Wunder, denn die Besitzer sind unheimlich nett und aufmerksam und das Essen lecker - besonders die gefüllten Teigtaschen "Khinkali". Es gibt unterschiedliche Füllungen. Wir haben uns 10 gefüllt mit gemischten Hackfleisch und Koriander bestellt (Euro 1,50/Stück).... Einfach genial... Als weitere Vorspeisen hatten wir Auberginen mit Walnuss (EUR 7) einen rote Beete Salat mit saurer Krischpflaumensoße (EUR 6), Khachapuri - Käsebrot (EUR 9). Als Hauptspeise hatte ich dann noch Sacinvi - Hähnchen mit Walnuss Soße (EUR 15) bestellt... Allerdings war ich nach den Vorspeisen schon so satt, dass ich mir das Hauptgericht mit nach Hause genommen. Spannend finde ich das zu dem Hauptgericht keine weitere Beilage gereicht wird. Irgendwie hat mir dann doch der Reis gefehlt. Später gab es noch eine Tanzeinlage der Besitzer und ein Schnaps aufs Haus. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich mir nur die Teigtaschen bestellen, denn die haben mich wirklich überzeugt. Alles andere war gut, aber hat bei mir nicht den Wow-Effekt gebracht.

Decent quality georgian food. Only disappointment was that there was no khinkali whilst it was the whole reason why we came. Either ojaxuri, megrelian khachapuri and the georgian salad were tasty.

Wir waren hier gestern, was schon unserer 4. oder 5. Besuch war. Das Essen ist super lecker, was auch der Grund für unserer Rückkehr ist. Leider habe ich zunehmend bemerkt, dass die Kundenbetreuung schlechter und schlechter wird und dass ich diesen Restaurant nicht mehr weiterempfehlen kann. Wenn Sie also einen Besuch planen, dann müssen Sie mit dem Folgenden rechnen: - Nach dem ihr Tisch habt bis Sie das Essen bestellt habt dauert ungefähr 50 Minuten. - Nachdem Sie bestellt habt bis Sie das Essen bekommt dauert ungefähr 40-60 Minuten. Und die Bestellung kommt nicht für alle gleichzeitig, was nicht so ein großer Nachteil ist, aber manche werden mit Ihrem Gericht schon fertig sein, während die anderen noch nichts bekommen haben (ich rede hier nicht über Salate oder Antipasti - alles Hauptgänge) - Und jetzt das ausschlaggebende. Wenn Sie also zahlen wollen, MÜSSEN SIE WIEDER 40 MINUTEN WARTEN. Und wenn ich sage "warten", das heißt warten. Das heißt nicht "oh, dann gehen wir einfach vorne, um die Bestellung/Bezahlung vorzunehmen. NEIN. So geht nicht. Die nächsten 40 Minuten werden Sie abgewiesen und höflich um weitere 5 Minuten des Wartens gebeten. Und dann nochmals. Und dann nochmals. Warum das so ist? Weil NUR EINE PERSON (a) Ihre Bestellung aufnehmen darf (b) Ihre Bezahlung durchführen darf, und (c) weiterhin als Hauptkellnerin für ungefähr 50-60 Leute zuständig ist. Es gibt auch andere Kellnerinnen, aber irgendwie wollen Sie nicht (oder nicht fähig genug) bei den anderen Aktivitäten mitzumachen. Oder die Restaurantleiterin will Sie nicht ausbilden. Was mich auch besorgt hat, dass Sie immer noch im 20. Jahrhundert leben. Gläser waschen Sie mit den Händen (Spülmaschine, nicht gehört?), Bestellungen nehmen Sie schriftlich (und nicht digital) mit auf, was zu unnötige Überprüfung und wiederholte Eintragung in das System zwecks Bezahlung führt. Wenn dass "teuer ist", hebt die Preise ab! Eine Euro wird man nicht merken bei Ihren Preisen, aber das hilft, solche Reviews zu minimieren. Ich sage Danke fürs Essen, aber so ein abartiges Service habe ich seit Langem nicht erlebt. Bis Sie etwas damit machen, haben Sie mich als Kunde verloren.
