Wir haben gestern abend zu viert das Lokal um 19:00 besucht.Nach Zuweisung unseres Tisches hat es leider zu lange gedauert bis wir mal nach Getränken gefragt wurden, dazu muss man sagen, das das Lokal aber auch sehr gut besucht war. Beim ersten Kontakt mit dem Service haben wir dann zugleich auch unsere Speisen mit bestellt.Die Speisenauswahl könnte idealerweise 1-2 Gerichte mehr beinhalten.Die Qualität der Speisen war für uns sehr zufriedenstellend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Ambiente, wir haben im Außenbereich gesessen, dies war sehr angenehm.Auch die Freundlichkeit des Service ist positiv zu erwähnen, wir werden sicher wiederkommen!

Ich war mit meinem Mann heute wieder im Herzlich zum Abendessen. Jedes Mal wird man nett begrüßt und zum Tisch begleitet. Der Service ist super freundlich und aufmerksam (und wirklich JEDER Mitarbeiter) Das Essen war wie immer superlecker und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Wir sind regelmäßig dort und kommen gerne wieder, lieber Timo (er war heute unsere Servicekraft)

Wir haben am 06.06.2026 unsere Hochzeit im Herzlichn gefeiert und könnten nicht glücklicher sein. Von der ersten Planung bis zur letzten Minute der Feier war einfach alles perfekt. Die Abstimmung mit dem Chef, Herrn Rodewald, war von Anfang an hervorragend. In mehreren persönlichen Gesprächen wurden all unsere Wünsche besprochen und anschließend genauso umgesetzt, wie wir es uns vorgestellt hatten. Es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Ein weiteres großes Lob gilt dem Essen. Gemeinsam mit Herrn Rodewald haben wir eine hervorragende Auswahl zusammengestellt, die unsere Erwartungen sogar noch übertroffen hat. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch und wurde von unseren Gästen durchweg gelobt. Auch die Getränke und Drinks waren hervorragend – alles war bestens organisiert und von hoher Qualität. Ein ganz besonderes Lob gilt außerdem dem gesamten Team und dem Service. Alle waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam, sympathisch und jederzeit mit vollem Einsatz dabei. Unsere Gäste haben sich rundum wohl und herzlich willkommen gefühlt. Auch die externen Dienstleister, die wir für unsere Hochzeit engagiert hatten, wurden vom Team sehr herzlich empfangen und bestens unterstützt – das ist keineswegs selbstverständlich und hat den Tag zusätzlich erleichtert. Wir möchten uns von Herzen für diesen unvergesslichen Tag bedanken. Wer eine Feier oder Veranstaltung plant, ist im Herzlich in den besten Händen. Sehr schönes Restaurant, schön gelegen. Man kann auch nach einem Spaziergang nur etwas trinken gehen

Leider Dienstag RUHETAG🤔😪 Aber wenigstens ne schöne Radtour aus GElsenkirchen-Buer unternommen und die Gegend ist sehr schön zum entspannen und spazieren zu gehen.... Kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder.....

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit dort gefeiert und danken dem gesamten Team für die tolle Unterstützung und den großartigen Service. Das Buffett hätte etwas reichhaltiger sein dürfen, allerdings beurteile ich das aus Gastgebersicht weil einige Speisen recht schnell ausgegangen waren. Es war ein toller Abend, alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und immer präsent. Auch vom Getränkeservice waren alle Gäste begeistert. Zudem durften wir bis 3 Uhr feiern ohne Zeitdruck. Die Location entspricht genau unserem Geschmack und hat im Sommer wie im Winter ihren ganz eigenen Charme. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe vor Ort und haben uns von Anfang bis Ende wohl gefühlt. Toller Service, leckeres Essen, schöne Umgebung!

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne ins Herzlich, denn hier ist der Name wirklich Programm. Neben der idyllischen Location, die zum Spazierengehen einlädt, haben wir selten so aufmerksame, kinderfreundliche und authentische Servicekräfte erlebt. Egal, ob nur auf einen schnellen Kaffee oder zum Abendessen, wir fühlen uns hier immer sehr wohl. Auch für die Kids gibt es sowohl drinnen als auch draußen viele Spielmöglichkeiten! Leckere und große Kuchen/Waffelauswahl und ansprechende Karte zu fairen Preisen. Großes Lob und absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Leckeres Essen und sehr freundlicher Service!

Man sitzt schön, das Essen ist lecker, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im Hinblick auf die Menge schon etwas sportlich, aber noch ok. Der Abend wäre trotzdem beinahe gelaufen gewesen, da ich aufgrund von Unverträglichkeiten den ganz kleinen Änderungswunsch hatte, die Kartoffeln gegen eine kleine Portion Gemüse zu tauschen. Das wäre nur per Aufpreis von 7Euro möglich. Darüber war ich fassungslos und zu meinem Glück auch die Bedienung. Sie hat sich für mein Anliegen stark gemacht, mit Erfolg. Das war ganz große Klasse von dieser Mitarbeiterin. 1000 Dank dafür!

Zum Lunch einen Salat und einen Rosé, beides sehr gut. Komme bald mal wieder vorbei

Ich aß eine Waffel mit Eis, Sahne und frischen Erdbeeren, sehr lecker auch Rhabarberkuchen war sehr gut. Bedienung freundlich, aufgeschlossen. Ambiente für eine Außengastronomie gut.

Ein wirklich gelungener schöner Abend an unserem Hochzeitstag .... Liebes Herzlich Team Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Abend. Es stimmte einfach alles ,der Aperitif mit Birne und Rosmarin perfekt und stimmig.... Die Vorspeise zweierlei vom Matjes und , das kleine Dreierlei..sehr schön angerichtet und präsentiert.... Hauptgänge Schweinemedaillons und Backhändl, genau das gleiche und bin der Portion optimal...die Herrencreme dann leider drinnen, aufgrund des Wetters,aber auch das konnte den Abend nicht trüben. Abgerundet war das ganze vom tollen Service, umsichtig und Aufmerksam, zuvorkommend aber nicht bestimmend...wir Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, genau wie unser Hund ...der auch auf seine charmante Art die Nachbartische unterhalten hat. Noch einmal ein herzliches Dankeschön an das Team, wir Kommen gerne wieder.

Wollte nur eine Kleinigkeit essen. Auf der 2 Monate alten Karte bei Kleinigkeiten war karamelisierter Ziegenkäse für 12,95€. Den wollte ich gerne haben. Gäbe es laut Aussage der Bedienung nicht einzeln. Das kann man nicht aus der Karte entnehmen. Schade, habe dann Pommes genommen. Die Freundlichkeit, die hier so hoch gelobt wird, habe ich auch vermisst. Deswegen nur 2 Sterne.

Essen war OK, aber nichts besonderes. Spargelkarte lässt keine Änderungen zu, sehr engstirnig vom Betreiber. Cola nur als 0.2, warum? Ach ja, da verdient man an den Getränken halt sehr gut. Kellner sehr freundlich.

Die Bedienung Amélie macht einen tollen Job. Das Essen ist super und das Lokal macht einen sehr schönen Eindruck!

Portionen zu klein, Preis unangemessen. Ein Backhendl für >20€ das eine Kindertellerportion ist, ist unverschämt. Ich bin eine sehr schlanke Frau und verstehe nicht wie zB ein Mann von solchen Portionen satt werden kann. Die Bedienung war kulant und hat mich ein anderes Gericht aussuchen lassen. Das war dann aber dasselbe Problem. Mini-Portion. Ich hab‘s dann aufgegeben. Gehe einfach nicht nochmal hin. Geschmacklich eher ok. Drei Sterne trotzdem, weil die Bedienung gut reagiert hat.

20€ für ein schnitzel was nicht den Bildern entspricht dazu bratkartoffeln die weniger waren als das fleisch, ich kam mir vor wie in einem high end restaurant wo man 50€ für ein kleines stück zahlt. Das essen war aber ganz okay.

Fertigschnitzel, Bratkartoffeln auch nicht selbst gemacht und Soße schmeckte nach Tüte. Traurig für so viel Geld erwarte ich dass auch gekocht wird. Tisch war reserviert und dann nur draußen möglich? Was wäre wenn es geregnet hätte????? Hatte vor 2 Wochen reserviert. Mich sehen Sie nie wieder. :(

Na ja, ging so. Der Service war super. Der Kaffee war gut. Aber, Sahne auf der Waffel aus der Sprühdose. Lief nach fünf Minuten über den ganzen Teller. Der Käsekuchen ging so, daß Stück war allerdings sehr klein. Dafür war der Preis viel zu hoch.

Leckeres Essen, aber nicht wenn man 20 Minuten auf eine Karte wartet

Sehr schöne und gemütliche Location. Kleine Karte, aber ich denke, dass jeder etwas findet. Personal war freundlich und dafür, dass es sehr voll war, war es vollkommen okay. Wirkte schon gestresst und die Mimik war schon ein wenig versteinert. Ich hatte das volle Programm, also Vorspeise, Haupt- und Nachspeise. Bin auch froh gewesen, da die Portionsgrößen im Vergleich zu vorherigen Besuchen, schon verkleinert würden. Wir waren insgesamt mit 9 Personen und der Rest der Gruppe sah dies genauso und sie haben sich nicht gesättigt gefühlt (sie hatten alle nur eine Hauptspeise). Vielleicht reicht es ja schon, wenn vielleicht vorweg ein wenig Brot und Butter/Dips gereicht werden oder zu dem einen oder anderen Gericht/Vorspeise eine Scheibe Brot. Das Essen war aber sehr gut und unwahrscheinlich nett angerichtet. Das Auge isst ja bekanntlich mit. Preise finde ich vollkommen angemessen. Getränke waren durchweg alle sehr gut. Insgesamt ein gelungener Abend.

Wir waren gestern zu zweit zum zweiten Mal im Herzlich. Es hat mir wieder sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war lecker und sehr schön angerichtet und unser Kellner war eine Wucht! Mega nett, freundlich, schnell und hilfsbereit, immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht, Zeit für ein Gespräch, toll! Ich hatte den Herzlich Salat mit Geflügel und Ziegenkäse, alles frisch. Eine riesige Portion, die Hälfte musste ich mir einpacken lassen! Wir kommen wieder!

We had our company Christmas dinner there today and were completely satisfied. The food was delicious and of excellent quality. The exceptionally friendly, attentive, and courteous service staff deserves special mention. We felt very comfortable throughout. Visiting this restaurant has become a cherished Christmas tradition for us, and we look forward to returning every year. A heartfelt thank you to the entire service team and the kitchen staff.

We had the pleasure of holding our company Christmas dinner there this year, and it was once again a very successful evening. The food was delicious and prepared with care. The service staff impressed us with their friendliness, attentiveness, and pleasant professionalism. We felt welcome from the very first moment. Visiting this restaurant has become a cherished tradition for us during the Christmas season. A big thank you to the entire team in both the front of house and the kitchen.

A lovely spot in Speckhorn! Delicious waffles are the perfect treat after a walk in the woods! There's a playground for children, and dogs are welcome too.

We recently visited Herzlich again, and it's time for a review. The food is consistently excellent. Both adults and children always find delicious and wonderful dishes and have a lovely time there. A great atmosphere and friendly service complete the experience and confirm our decision to return again and again.

Well, what more can one say about Herzlich? Very friendly staff and excellent food and drinks. The beautiful and lovingly decorated ambiance is the icing on the cake, ensuring a wonderful experience whether you're enjoying a leisurely dinner or relaxing with coffee and cake after a walk. I had the schnitzel with creamy mushroom sauce. It was delicious. The staff was outstanding – always ready to help if needed and friendly from the start. We will definitely be back.

We've been celebrating our events here for years, as "Herzlich" is the best event location in the entire district. Mr. Rodewald is incredibly helpful with planning and organization and always accommodates individual requests as best he can. The venue itself is beautiful, modern, and wonderfully situated in a green setting, so there are no time or noise restrictions. The food has always been excellent, whether served as a buffet or a set menu. The service team is incredibly friendly, not to mention warm and welcoming. Thank you, and we'd love to come back anytime!

A lovely restaurant in the Mollbeck recreation area with delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere. It features an outdoor terrace, a children's playground, parking in front of the building, and bicycle parking and a service station. Well worth a visit!

It was our first time there. The service was nice, friendly, and attentive. The ambiance is clean and modern. I thought the three-course meal we chose was reasonably priced; pumpkin soup, schnitzel from local pork, and Kaiserschmarrn sounded great. Unfortunately, I was served a colorful potpourri of convenience products. A pre-made schnitzel of the cheapest quality shouldn't be advertised like that and shouldn't be sold as schnitzel from local pork. Domestic pigs are quite rare these days, by the way. Any cook should be able to make a freshly pounded schnitzel with its own breading. In my opinion, the fried potatoes weren't homemade either. The fresh mushrooms were the best thing about it. A colorful salad garnish was a clever attempt to distract from the poor quality. The topping up of the Kaiserschmarrn was at least somewhat palatable. What a shame... Why not charge 5 euros more and buy a schnitzel from the local butcher? That would be great, and then the rest wouldn't matter so much. Best regards.

I went there for the first time last Wednesday with friends, and we were all very impressed with the food, service, and ambiance. It was a very enjoyable evening for us, and we will be back.

Lovely atmosphere at Herzlich. I had a cappuccino with a slice of strawberry rhubarb cake. Both were delicious. Even without a reservation, we still managed to get a table without any problems. The staff is very friendly.

We celebrated a wonderful birthday and our silver wedding anniversary. The location is fantastic, the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. The buffet was unbeatable. I highly recommend it for a unique celebration and a lasting positive vibe.

Nice place. I had a curry dish with rice for €18.90. For that price, I got a piece of turkey weighing about 70g with gravy, two apple slices, and two grapes. An absolute disgrace for the price. My complaint was met with nothing but "I'll tell the kitchen." Unfortunately, that was our last time there.

The initial impression was positive: friendly service and a pleasant start. Unfortunately, the food was accompanied by numerous small flies – some even in the salad. When we raised the issue, it wasn't taken seriously, but dismissed with the comment that it was like this every year in the summer because of the forest. In the end, the service seemed arrogant and not solution-oriented. Very disappointing, so unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

Yesterday, I wanted to have a nice and relaxed evening with friends. I had very fond memories of this restaurant from the past. The menu was surprisingly disappointing, as the selection was limited to currywurst, Jägerschnitzel, and salad variations. Naturally, we quickly decided on the salad. But when it was served, we were surrounded by fruit flies within minutes. When we alerted the waiter, a fruit fly trap was placed on the table. In the meantime, the flies had already landed on our salad. We were unable to continue eating. Upon our complaint, an arrogant-looking waiter explained to us that we shouldn't have ordered a salad. We weren't offered a discount. We ended the evening with a bad feeling because we didn't want to stay there any longer. What a shame 🥺

We were there last night after a bike ride. The ambiance is very nice. The service was also quite friendly. But the food... catastrophic. A pile of salad, which was okay. But the beef strips?!? Hard patties... simply awful. The schnitzel was also awful. Going there for a drink was okay. But eating there, never again.

Why can't you give zero stars?!?! We were there again this afternoon and were ignored. We left after 15 minutes, completely horrified! The service here is practically nonsensical and completely ignorant! Not only the staff, but also the new "menu" leaves a lot to be desired! What a shame!

Unfortunately, you can't award "no stars"!! Herbst-Salad, the unique selling point of your restaurant, has been removed from the menu!! (How stupid do you have to be?) Lunch, removed from the menu!! Landschwein schnitzel, removed from the menu!! None of it has been adequately replaced! The prices only go up!! The service has gone from bad to miserable to nonexistent!! A visit now puts you in a bad mood!! It's no longer worth a visit!! What a shame!!

It's always been very nice here, but the portions are getting smaller and smaller, making the price-to-quantity ratio disproportionate, although the quality remains good. Unfortunately, we had to wait a very long time today to order food and drinks (10-15 minutes). Overall, it's too expensive for what's offered, including drinks.

I've been here several times, but this time I'm totally disappointed: A heavily discounted memory card Hardly any dishes that can be found online The veal liver was carelessly served - the onions were mushy - and the apples were completely missing! The waiter tried hard Too little for the price!

I highly recommend this place. I think it's a great place to eat, and the food is always delicious. The staff is very polite, and everyone is very friendly. I know this because I did an internship there once, and everyone was nice. The owner also took good care of me.

Herzlich has always been a positive experience for us. But something is different now. The menu is manageable, and many good dishes have been removed. The food, to put it mildly, was ordinary. Everything here felt like convenience food... Simply too expensive for the price. You can get better and cheaper Jägerschnitzel and fries with currywurst elsewhere. I can't imagine retaining customers like that. It's a shame, but we won't be going there again. It's a shame about the lovely evening that ended early. No one felt the need to stay longer. For my next birthday, we'll look elsewhere.

Very good food. The menu may seem disappointingly small at first, but it's better for a restaurant to have a few good dishes than a lot of choice, but everything tastes just like anywhere else. Very good food, excellent service, and a nice atmosphere.

The location is excellent. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. I can't say the same about the prices, though. Considering the quality and the menu, it's quite expensive. The dishes looked odd and were decorated with random things to make an impression. I expected more.

We were able to celebrate our wedding at your venue, and we were thrilled! The venue is absolutely beautiful. The waiters were all incredibly friendly, and we had a dedicated waiter from the very beginning. The waiter alone was a hit! We all felt very comfortable, even with small children (!). He was able to fulfill all the children's wishes. Both the elderly and the children were thrilled and everyone felt at home. We are so grateful for the wonderful day and the thoughtful details throughout.

For me, the food isn't good; it's just fast food. The tables aren't cleaned, the trolleys are overflowing. The staff doesn't always speak German, so I only go there very rarely, because of the children.

A beautiful restaurant with modern decor and a varied small menu, as well as a cake display and waffles. The service was attentive and friendly, and the restrooms were clean. Unfortunately, one star is deducted for the risk of falls both inside the restaurant, on the terrace, and at the entrance/stairs. There is a lack of accessibility here.

It's a private party, but you're welcome to sit outside. We wait, but no one comes. I go inside and ask if I should order inside. They say no, my colleague is coming. We wait outside again, and finally someone comes and says, "My colleague has finished work and I can't serve you; I'm very busy." Okay.
