Herzlich in Recklinghausen

I recommend this restaurant because we felt very comfortable there. It's especially enjoyable when the weather's nice, as you can sit outside in the beautiful natural surroundings. We've been there twice already. The delicious cake is highly recommended. We were also impressed by the hot dishes. A definite recommendation.

Four of us ate here on a Sunday. I really enjoyed it; the food was really good, and so was the service. Unfortunately, it was very loud, which was the only thing that was a bit unpleasant. Otherwise, I absolutely recommend it!

For me, the food isn't good; it's just fast food. The tables aren't cleaned, the trolleys are overflowing. The staff doesn't always speak German, so I only go there very rarely, because of the children.

A beautiful restaurant with modern decor and a varied small menu, as well as a cake display and waffles. The service was attentive and friendly, and the restrooms were clean. Unfortunately, one star is deducted for the risk of falls both inside the restaurant, on the terrace, and at the entrance/stairs. There is a lack of accessibility here.

It's a private party, but you're welcome to sit outside. We wait, but no one comes. I go inside and ask if I should order inside. They say no, my colleague is coming. We wait outside again, and finally someone comes and says, "My colleague has finished work and I can't serve you; I'm very busy." Okay.

Nice restaurant in the Mollbeck local recreation area with very tasty food in a pleasant atmosphere. Outdoor terrace, children's playground, parking spaces in front of the house, bicycle parking spaces and service station. A visit is worth it!

A nice restaurant! The parking spaces are a bit rare, but so far it was still possible to get a parking space. I would say that “Herzlich” is a classic excursion restaurant. I can highly recommend the fish dishes (trout and sea bream)

Yes, very tasty, but with a very limited menu, it's not for everyone. My recommendation: Just try it for yourself! We will definitely eat there again, especially in the summer, as they have a wonderful outdoor area. The service staff are very friendly and attentive. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Personal etwas versnobt ... vielleicht aus Unsicherheit? Ich habe Rinder-Schmorbraten gegessen, war sehr lecker bis auf die Knödel, die waren irgendwie sehr fest und trocken, dafür war einfach zu wenig Sauce auf dem Teller, Rotkohl ebenfalls sehr lecker. Bin auf jeden Fall satt geworden. Nachtisch: Tiramisu mit einer Kugel Walnuss-Eis ... Eis lecker, Tiramisu leider enttäuschend, war keine Mascarpone, für 9 Euro sehr traurig; Restaurant war sehr gut besucht, man sollte auf jeden Fall reservieren!

A very nice and beautifully located restaurant with very good cuisine. The menu is small but nice. The content changes frequently and always contains beautiful and tasty surprises. I've been there several times and not just because of the menu but also because of the very, very friendly and nice staff. The “Herzlich” also has a lunch table, which we have often used. The restaurant is a clear recommendation.

On November 30th, 2024 we had dinner here with friends, the food was wonderfully prepared and very tasty, very good service, prices ok / normal, nice ambience, we will definitely come back :-)

We were already there as a stopover during a bike tour with a group and were thrilled by the good service, the friendliness, the quick service and the delicious cake. Yesterday there were just the two of us there for dinner and we weren't disappointed. The food was very tasty, the service was very attentive, and despite the restaurant being very busy we didn't have to wait long. Special requests were met in a friendly and confident manner. The atmosphere was very appealing, it was easy to have a conversation and overall it was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the time. We can HIGHLY recommend this and will definitely come back ourselves. Be sure to reserve. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We celebrated a birthday there, I'm not usually the type of person for this type of restaurant but I was so excited that I had to leave a review. I had the schnitzel with champions, just a dreamy perfect schnitzel and the salad was great too 🎉 . My little son was also happy about the slide and the beautiful sandpit outside 😊 The staff was also very friendly.

We have been to the Herzlich restaurant several times and were very satisfied. However yesterday it was very poor service and the food was very bad. After the assigned table was assigned, we sat for a very long time until a service

Very good service and very tasty food. The dishes from the chanterelle special menu were all very tasty and plentiful. We sat right next to the counter. Overall, it was very loud in the restaurant and quiet private conversations were almost impossible. The proximity to the counter didn't make the noise level any more pleasant

We were at Herzlich today and were disappointed. The chanterelles were advertised but were unfortunately served in a very sparse quantity, as were the fried potatoes. The salmon tasted okay, but was dry. We contacted the waiter and confronted him with our assessment. He replied: Then order dessert. We felt dismissed because our criticism was not taken seriously. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened to us. As frequent visitors there, we expect different treatment. A pity. The competition is looking forward to us. Unfortunately, any criticism of the staff is ignored.

A beautiful restaurant in the middle of nature. The food is tasty and presented attractively. Only the room acoustics are annoyingly loud when the restaurant is busy due to the open design of the ceilings, hence the point deduction here.

For a 90th birthday we had a family celebration there from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Beautiful room, friendly and attentive service, original dishes at the buffet. Everything fine!

Nice location after a walk in the area. The service is friendly, but also slightly overwhelmed. The price-performance ratio of the dishes is not right at all. We received the asparagus with triplets and salmon fillet we ordered after less than 10 minutes. This absolutely cannot have been freshly prepared!!! Counted the triplets. The asparagus was lukewarm and so noticeably soft and tasteless, as if it had been cooked three times. The salmon was completely dry and tasted completely like fat.

Our small swimming pool in the Recklinghausen district. There are 5 pools: a diving tower, 2 non-swimmer pools, a swimmer's pool and a children's pool. Mollbeck is very easy to reach by bus or car and the possible parking situation. There are large lawns, opportunities to play basketball and tennis, clean sanitary facilities and active lifeguards. You have the opportunity to buy a small snack at the snack bar, the selection isn't too big, but it's completely sufficient for a swimming pool in the "forest".

We spent a wonderful sunny day here and celebrated the 70th birthday of a favorite person. The location is wonderfully designed and allows for relaxed and cozy get-togethers in the outdoor dining area. The food is delicious and regional. The service leaves nothing to be desired and is happy to accommodate personal requests. Thank you and again and again.....

The food was terrible, the service was planless. 70 euros for coconut milk with water. Disgusting schnitzel, asparagus, strawberry salad with 2 strawberries and hard asparagus. Complained to the service, who only came to our table to collect money. But no reaction, and closed unable. I would have preferred to give the 70 euros to someone in need. NOT RECOMMENDABLE. Every chip shop is better.

Super great location, we have been there several times and have now celebrated our wedding there in a small group, the quality of the food was very good and the staff were very nice and accommodating 💛 I was able to bring my table decorations with me and they were designed exactly how I imagined! We would like to thank Cafe for such a great time! It is really highly recommended, beautiful location, you can go for a great walk in the area...especially with a dog, for example! I could write a lot more positive things... but just take a look for yourself!

Sweet restaurant in the middle of the forest. The food was very tasty and the service was quick. Our service was a bit grumpy at the beginning, but that calmed down later. Prices so-so.

Very nicely designed cafe/restaurant in the countryside, with a clear view of the small playground. The opening times are kept up to date, private parties are marked as “closed” in the opening times, so pay attention to this, especially on weekends! We were happy to have made a reservation, but when we visited it was very crowded and guests had to be turned away. Due to the large number of guests, the friendly service unfortunately lagged a bit behind with long ordering times. We were happy with the quality of the food!

I found the ambience to be visually very nice, but acoustically suboptimal. It was incredibly loud and it was exhausting for the four of us to have a conversation.
