Herzblut St. Pauli in Hamburg

Wir waren gestern Abend spontan im Herzblut und wollten nur einen Cocktail trinken. Die Dame am Empfang hat uns dann einen Tisch für eine Stunde gegeben, was uns auch völlig reichte. Nachdem wir die Bestellung aufgegeben hatten, kamen zwei Getränke auch zeitnah. Der eine Cocktail komme gleich. Nachdem dieser dann fertig war und rund 10 Minuten an der Theke stand, habe ich beim Theken-Team nachgefragt und diesen dann selber geholt! Mal ganz abgesehen von der Wartezeit- es stehen fertige Getränke rum, die wohl kaum andauernd beobachtet werden, so dass hier jeder noch einen Schuss Ko Tropfen oder ähnliches ergänzen könnte! Wir haben dann die Getränke genossen und durften dann noch 40 Minuten vor leeren Gläsern sitzen- wir wären aber echt so dreist gewesen und hätten noch etwas bestellt! Nachdem dann rund 1,5 Stunden vergangen waren ( merke- der Tisch war ja nur für eine Stunde vorgesehen), haben wir dann bezahlt- ohne Trinkgeld. Selbstbedienung kann ich auch an der Tanke haben.

Cocktails were good. Price - performance accordingly. Lots of people = louder atmosphere, of course here too. No blame. Longer wait for service, due to the higher volume (Friday evening, logically) A visit can be recommended

The beer was only half full and was warm, it really didn't taste good. The burger was terrible, frozen meat and carelessly prepared, really bad! But service was nice and the location is well located. I would only avoid the store in the future if the food AND drinks were bad!

The negative point that I really disliked was the extremely long wait for the food. You plan around 2 hours for eating. Unfortunately, we only got our main courses after about 1.5 hours and our schedule was very tight. That's why we had to eat very quickly. I had a steak that was unfortunately unsalted. Medium became medium well. The burger my husband had was rather unspectacular and nothing special, but not bad. The service staff hardly came by because they didn't have time. The chairs are made of wood and have no upholstery, making them very uncomfortable for a longer stay. The drinks menu for the bar was very extensive. It also bothered me that a person was sitting in front of the toilet and wanted money. (Maybe it sounds strange, but I just found it strange when going out to eat where you might go to the toilet more often).

We ordered drinks and food. The drinks came relatively quickly, but we waited in vain for the food. We then had to cancel it again because otherwise we would have been late to our event. The only excuse was “Sorry, we are currently understaffed”. One wonders why so many guests are still accepted. As an apology, we didn't even get our Coke on the house. It's a shame, we went to the event hungry and only had half as nice an evening as planned.

We had our drinks for 10 minutes, then the waiter came to collect and “chased us out”. Small side fact: the shed was 1/3 full and still open for 2 hours

One of my favorite locations on the Reeperbahn when it comes to dinner. The menu is varied but still manageable so that the quality is good. The service is on point and the food comes quickly. The cocktails are delicious and definitely recommended for happy hour 😉 On weekends you should reserve a table in advance as it can get quite busy. But this is very easy to do via the website.

Absolute recommendation from me. Very nice service, the food was very tasty and plentiful. You feel very comfortable and very valued as a customer. More like friendly but very respectful. Anyone who walks in the neighborhood should put their heart and soul into it.

Food and cocktails great. Be sure to reserve a table otherwise you have no chance. Update 9/15/24 Unfortunately the burgers weren't that good anymore. Ready-made patties and very bland, it wasn't our thing today in terms of taste. Too bad. Always enjoyed eating here.

der burger war vom inhalt her ok. das fleisch aber von minderer qualität mit einigen knorpeln . von der konsistenz her aus dem tiefkühler. die pommes zwar gut aber nur noch lauwarm. die bowl war ok.

Nice bar/restaurant on the Reeperbahn

Had dinner here with dear friends last night before going to the theater. Food came very quickly and everything tasted very good.

Had reservations on a Saturday. Got a nice table and service. Fries with burger cost €18. I find it a bit expensive. But you can save a lot of money at happy hour. The cocktails taste good. Unfortunately it is very warm inside in summer, it is almost unbearable. So it's better to sit outside than inside. Unfortunately, since Corona, no DJ has been playing there in the evenings, which is a shame.

We didn't have a reservation and still got a seat. The staff is very friendly, the food was very good. If we are in Hamburg again we will definitely come back.

Today was the first time we were in the heart and soul and it certainly wasn't the last time! We were really excited 😍 on our next visit to Hamburg, you will be our first port of call!

There were eight of us here and we had reserved a table. For some reason we only arrived 45 minutes later (ashes on our heads) and were still warmly welcomed. It took a while for the order to be taken (the store wasn't full). After that, things went pretty quickly: cocktails were served quickly and the food didn't take too long to arrive. The cocktails tasted very good and were also well priced. We paid €10.50 for a jumbo - because of the happy hour. The fries were a bit too salty, but they actually matched the alcohol. The burgers were solidly topped, but by no means outstanding. Absolute standard. What is unfortunately not possible: rubbery frozen patties. Definitely wouldn't recommend a burger here. Just make fresh patties and your burger is on another level. Unfortunately I think almost €20 for burgers and fries is too much. It would be appropriate with a good burger. Service was nice, store very clean. Overall, a good place to go for cocktails and average food.

The two of us were there on a Friday around 5:30 p.m. in August. This went smoothly without a reservation. However, the air conditioning was obviously out or there is none - in any case the air was very warm and stuffy. The service was really great. Often asked for advice on cocktails and a great friend. The food (shrimp pan, roulades and penne alla mama) was all very tasty. Öreis performance fits well. You also have to take the situation into account. All in all. We come back again and again on every Hamburg vacation

The first thing we come across is a waiter who is just super negative, and looks like someone who wishes we would just slip away again, she is just angry and sends off incredibly bad karma.. We order some food and drink, and first the drinks arrive with old and half-rotten mint leaves in them, we point this out but are dismissed with the fact that it is quite normal and that there is nothing wrong with them 🤢 Plus, it doesn't matter what you order from drinks as there is so much booze in it you can't taste the difference.. We have ordered 2 ribeye steaks, and when they arrive we ask if they are the right ones, we are told they are, and we sit down and start eating them.. A little goes by and then she comes back and says she must have made a mistake and served the wrong ones, she starts to want to discuss and whether we should perhaps have found a steakhouse to eat at, to which I mention she has a really bad attitude and that we do not feel welcome in any way, she seems indifferent and offers that we can get our drinks for free as a plaster on the wound.. We hurry to finish eating and get away from there.. All in all a place I would never set foot in again, especially when there are so many good places on the reeperbahn with good food and good service..

The location and location are really great. Just like the service. The burger for the hefty price of over €17 with fries, but without extras like onions etc (costs extra again) is unfortunately absolutely not recommended. For the price, despite the location, I expect a little more than ready-made buns and a ready-made pattie.

Very average! The steak is bad! Everything is extra so you pay for the cheese and mayonnaise extra. Bad experience! Restaurant for tourists I don't understand the positive comments. Unless you are a big pigeon!

We really had a very good meal here. I had fish & chips and it was really tasty. The portions were absolutely sufficient and the price was good too. The staff was very attentive and very friendly.

We were passionate about our twins and would have liked to have a little something to eat. We asked for a table for 6 people. We were rudely told that there was no table available because the stroller would be in the way of other people. Because the restaurant would be completely booked. At that point there were only a few tables occupied. We could put the stroller, the babies were sleeping in the stroller, but somewhere within sight. Then you would have an eye on it. This could have been conveyed differently and not in such an unfriendly way. Especially since in all the other restaurants, which were much smaller and had reservations up to the last table, everything wasn't a problem.

Great location, interesting furnishings including a counter. In addition, there is friendly and attentive service. The food was plentiful and very tasty 😋. A visit is a MUST when taking a walk on the Reeperbahn.

Was at the Harley Days, the good weather invited you to take a place at the Reeperbahn and watch the hustle and bustle of the people. I waited about 20 minutes for the drink to be served. And at 11.30 p.m. was the "last chance", which I thought was impossible for a trendy bar on the Reeperbahn but unfortunately it was true due to the lack of staff. Poor Germany, even if it's already gotten to the point in the neighborhood that bars have to ring in the last round before midnight... Otherwise, I have to say, very nice and attentive staff, who really make an effort to give the guest a good feeling for the reasons mentioned above. Cheers!!!! I didn't eat, so no review

Always worth a visit when you are in Hamburg. Captures the atmosphere of the Reeperbahn very well. The staff is unbeatably friendly! Always new! The cocktails are huge and absolutely recommended! The menu is small, but suits the audience and ambience exactly. ❤️

Overall, it was a successful start to our little Reeperbahn tour. Very friendly staff, great food (I had a meat roulade with mashed potatoes), it was so excellent that I was still raving about it two days later. The drinks came quickly and all additional requests, such as extra ice cubes, were fulfilled immediately. You just felt comfortable. There were 5 of us and everyone can only say thank you. Deserved 5 stars!

Leider enttäuschend. Zwar ein gut gekühltes leckeres Duckstein, aber der „legendäre Burger“ war nichts. Das Paddy war sehr „homogen gummiartig“ gefochten zwar nicht wirklich zäh, aber halt TK-Ware von der Qualität. Der Burger selbst war etwas in Sauce ertränkt und die Zwiebeln hatten einen fischigen Nachgeschmack. Zwei Punkte aufgrund der sehr netten Bedienung - vom Essen her nur ein Punkt.

Today I found out after many years that THE lifeblood has changed. Our visit wanted to get to know the heart and soul, unfortunately our children still had a little ice cream in their waffles. We were then refused service. Can be done, does not have to be! It's a shame we thought we were a little further along in the service world. Especially since they were children. It wouldn't have hurt sales. But if you don't need it...! A pity! Then no more!

Unfortunately, the burger was very expensive and didn't taste the best I've eaten. But the service was good and very friendly. The cocktails were solid and the prices were reasonable at happy hour.

Unfortunately I can only give the food a rating of 6. The fries are completely over salted, the citizen is as dry as a fart. In the citizen was an inedible piece of meat, a slice of tomato, a lettuce leaf and some mayonnaise. Everything is very carelessly served on the plate. Price: 17.75 euros. What can you say about that? I was speechless. I wouldn't want to eat for free! I've seriously never had such a bad meal at a restaurant. The service was extremely friendly. Praise for that again!!! However, food is not recommended.

Far too expensive for the quality of the food. The pasta was almost cooked to mush and the bolognese sauce was too weak. There is no need for another visit!!!

Good food and the waiters and cooks are very quick, despite the restaurant being full. The atmosphere is good. The only criticism: The tables and chairs are very close together and the aisles are so narrow that only one person can walk past the tables at a time. So not suitable for wheelchairs. The price-performance ratio is correspondingly expensive due to the location

Tourist trap. Large restaurant. High prices and not good quality. The service was rude and wanted to give us water that we hadn't ordered, saying: you'd better drink water, you need it. 1 1/2 hour wait for food on a Wednesday evening

The burger wasn't particularly tasty. Very dry. Unfortunately the store is far too loud for that. A conversation at the table was not possible.

Went for a cocktail with my better half on Saturday evening and had a burger on Sunday. Both super delicious! Unfortunately on Saturday it was extremely warm and stuffy in the room, otherwise very comfortable! The dark-haired waitress was awesome :) Mega friendly and totally personable! Please stay like this! Gladly again on your next visit 👍🏻

For a quick stop in front of Schmidt's Tivoli, a good decision to eat, large selection and portions, almost too much. Nice, smart service and always friendly. Nice view of different people walking around in the neighborhood, almost like a movie theater.

Great service! An incredibly nice reception, which showed us to the table, then the service at the table was SUPER attentive and quick. The food - Flammkuchen Zicke - highly recommended, plentiful and not too dry. The cocktails are super delicious! The price is absolutely cheap. The ambience is relatively loud in such a large location due to echoing noises. And still invites you to linger. Highly recommended!

The quality of the food has deteriorated a lot, the chicken burger had very poor meat quality. The service also left a lot to be desired, we wanted to order again, but it wasn't possible. It's a shame, otherwise we were always very satisfied...

Top Essen, leckere Cocktails und ein super Service...

Unglaublich laut, als würde man auf dem Bürgersteig an einer Hauptstraße essen. Der Flammkuchen war trocken und spärlich belegt, keine Freude - dafür gesalzene Preise. Ketchup und Mayo für die Pommes zahlt man extra, das finde ich immer albern. Das Personal ist nett. Ich werde nicht wieder kommen.

Wir waren mit der Familie zum Abendessen hier und hatten alle Burger bestellt und die Cocktail Happyhour genutzt. Die Burger und Drinks waren sehr lecker, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und auf zack. Gerne wieder.

Wir waren schon das zweite Mal in Herzblut und haben dieses Mal auch etwas gegessen. Das Essen war guter Durchschnitt, aber nicht herausragend. Dafür waren die Drinks sehr gut und in der Happy hour auch zu sehr fairen Preisen. Unser Highlight ist der Vodka Shot mit Ahoi Brause Pulver. Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und alles kam sehr schnell. Unter der Woche war es auch sehr angenehm, da nicht zu voll. Alles in allem also einen Empfehlung, wenn man an der Reeperbahn etwas trinken gehen möchte.

Wir kannten das Herzblut von früheren Hamburg besuchen,damals waren wor sehr zufrieden deshalb wollten wor auch diesmal wieder dort hin. Das erste mal waren wir an Silvester dort zum Abendessen. Die wartezeit beim anstehen bis man zum Tisch gebracht wurde war total okay. Jedoch waren die Tische so eng aufgestellt und das Paar hinter uns hat sich so breit gemacht das wir uns den Tisch selbst zurecht rücken mussten das wir wenigstens etwas platz hattem um halbwegs bequem zu sitzen… Das lokal war toll geschmückt,auch ein Countdown war sichtbar wie lange es noch bis Mitternacht geht,ein DJ mit toller Playlist und eine Tanzfläche für alle die Tanzen wollten. Jedoch war das Personal (verständlicherweisse) zimlich überfordert und es dauerte zimlich lange bis man das Essen plus getränke bestellen konnte wofür wir verständniss hatten.Nach dem Essen und ein paar Drinks sind wir dann auch weitergezogen…Einige Tage später gingen wir nochmals dort Essen als etwas weniger los war. Auch an diesem Abend war das Personal anfangs sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir bestellten uns Flammkuchen welche auch sehr Lecker und frisch zubereitet waren und einige Cocktails. Um ca. 22:20 kam die Bedienung und meinte ob wir noch etwas bestellen möchten da es jezt die lezte Runde sei wir aber bei einer bestellung in Ruhe austrinken können. Wir haben dann noch einen Caipirhinia und einen Margherita bestellt die dann auch schnell kammen. Dann um 22:35 der schock… Wir müssen jezt gehen denn sie würden jezt schlissen! Obwohl uns ja 15Minuten zuvor gesagt wurde wir können in RUHE austrinken?! Uns wurden dann relativ unsanft pappbecher in die Hand gedrückt und uns unschwer zu verstehen gegeben das wir nun gehen sollen,wirklich sehr Schade für so ein Tolles und Gemütliches Lokal…
