Wonderful evening and absolute hospitality not only to people but also to dogs. Our waiter Leo was absolutely personable and very accommodating. Our next visit is even more assured. Here you can still see the joy in the job and the passion for food

Were there this evening including the dog and are thrilled, the atmosphere is beautiful and the food is simply delicious. A particularly big compliment to the service, especially the waiter "Leo" who served us very well and immediately provided water for my dog. He also made sure that he sat us in such a way that the dog had enough rest and offered to move us again when a seat in a quieter location became available. We would love to come back, of course with four-legged companions. Thanks for the nice evening :)

Unfortunately the food wasn't so good that I say, wow, how delicious. The service has deteriorated greatly for me. There was no plate for the starter, after the meal the dirty dishes were left for almost half an hour until the table was cleared away, then my colleague wanted to take the rest of her food home with her, she got it wrapped in Styrofoam, she still has it Because she has walking difficulties, she asked for a bag to carry and then got a lecture that would be one of the last bags that would be the restaurant's contribution to environmental protection. This sermon was not very effective because where is the environmental protection with styrofoam packaging. It's not good to give the customer a lecture. I'm a little disappointed

A nice restaurant with a cozy beer garden. We were welcomed with a smile and had a very nice evening. The food was very tasty, the dessert was amazing. Price performance fits very well here. We will be back definitely!

Environment: old garden furniture. Dirty and torn garden chairs. Food: total disaster. Gyros meat dry and old. Obviously old meat reheated in the microwave. We ordered 3 different dishes and all of them were tasteless. Way too greasy.

I was there with my husband and good friends. The food was a hit. Super juicy and tasty. We were so satisfied that the evening didn't end. Good conversations and the service was perfect. At Hermes everyone can have a great evening and go home happy. Thank you for being in Heiligenhaus.

The best Greek here far and wide. EDIT 2024 Let's start by saying the food continues to be great.☺️🙏 ⏺️ Unfortunately the portions have become significantly smaller. Many dishes have become up to 5 euros more expensive, and side dishes that were usually included (rice, tzatziki, etc.) have now been removed and you have to order them additionally. I have attached two Fino plates (2019 and 2024) for comparison. And there is the next point. ⏺️ There are no more white tablecloths. I mean, you can expect that in a restaurant. After all, you don't eat in a snack bar. The same goes for the furniture. ⏺️ Some benches are so worn out. Seriously? That's not possible. These are all things that don't make you want to go there. We used to go there at least once a month. Now maybe four times a year. You had the feeling of being part of the family and the atmosphere was always very positive. Well, and the lady of the house is really not an advertisement for the restaurant. At first we thought we had caught her on a bad day, because that can definitely happen to anyone. But it turns out that the way they display is their very own. Other reviewers also mention this. ⚠️ This has to change ⚠️ I'm writing here because I hope that the operators will read this and see it as constructive criticism. We are Urheilenhausers and have been going there forever (when it was still called Athens). It would be a shame if the restaurant had to give up at some point because the customers no longer want to accept the new face of the restaurant. And the criticism is getting around in the city. It's a shame that we keep hearing the same thing about Hermes. It's a shame, it used to be much better.

Yesterday we were back at the Hermes restaurant to celebrate my 76th birthday. As always, it was absolutely great. From the ambience, to the chef service, the food and a super delicious dessert, everything is grade 1. There will be no other address for the next birthday. Last night we went to our favorite Greek restaurant far and wide - everything was perfect from the food to the service. The nice owners are warm as always. You immediately feel welcome and comfortable. Coming this far just to eat there and have been doing so for years. Unfortunately, we are deeply disappointed by some people here who leave comments like this and present it as CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, but at the same time deliberately insult and embarrass people publicly on the Internet. We are here in Germany and freedom of expression applies here, but that goes absolutely too far and has nothing to do with criticism anymore. Some people should really be ashamed here and if you didn't like it then tell the nice people what you didn't like so that they can improve and not spread such reputation-damaging lies. Anyone can say a lot anonymously here, but is it true or were some people just bored?

Once Upon a time......... Once our favorite Greek restaurant, when the previous owners ran it... today, thanks to the poor service and the unfriendly, unprofessional landlady, we tried other great Greek restaurants. We won't come here anymore. Reason: We were eating there with a large group and still hadn't had our food after 2 hours. Other guests who came after us were ready after 2 hours. Then: dry meat, lukewarm and just bad. Today we celebrate somewhere else. The absolute impudence: The employees are not allowed to keep the tips. An unparalleled audacity and insolence that cannot be surpassed. -☆-☆-☆-☆-☆ Never ever!!!!!

Good evening, we were there yesterday and had a bad experience, the food was very good but unfortunately one lady had a very negative reaction... It's a shame... we had a walker with us for my mother, who has walking difficulties, we actually wanted to go with us in a wheelchair but my mother didn't want that... when we made the reservation we asked for a table on the edge so we weren't right in the middle... unfortunately we got one right there. When we asked if we couldn't get another table, we were told no and not exactly friendly... unfortunately... the rollator was simply placed far away from our table so that my mother couldn't even get away from the table on her own... Then we ordered tzatziki as a side dish... exactly 3 tablespoons were brought to us on a mini plate and without bread and that for 5.10 euros..... sorry when I go out to eat I don't look at the money... but I thought that was exaggerated... unfortunately after a call we couldn't sort it out properly... it's a shame... I always enjoyed eating there🙄🙄🙄🙄

The food, apart from the side salad, starter: taramas, saganaki, tzatziki, main course ouzo plate and the 112 were very tasty. Well seasoned in Greek, the bifteki was juicy and the steaks were juicy and not dry. The portions are very large. The only strange thing was that the two steaks had to be served later because they weren't ready yet. You could have waited the additional 3 minutes. Positive: you have enough time to enjoy the food and not everything is served at short intervals, as is unfortunately often the case these days, so that the table can be quickly re-occupied. The staff is friendly and attentive. All in all, I can give a clear recommendation

I was there on January 19th. celebrated with 10 people. Top service, great food and all guests were highly satisfied. They also had a vase for my birthday bouquet. 👍🏻❤️

Too bad, won't come back. The farmer's salad consisted almost entirely of iceberg lettuce and water, no dressing. The waiter did not respond to the complaint. Just grinned. Miles away from a good Greek restaurant. Staff unfriendly.

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne in dieses Restaurant. Es bietet alles, was wir uns bei einem griechischen Essen wünschen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, Fleisch war bis jetzt auch noch nie trocken. Der Service ist sehr nett und freundlich. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm.

Größere Gesellschaft, 13 Personen. Klassischer Grieche mit den typischen Dekoelementen. Tisch war reserviert. Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Der Salat als Gruß aus der Küche war etwas fad und das Dressing ein Fertigprodukt. Als Vorspeise habe ich Taramas bestellt. Kam mit Weißbrot, leider vermute ich hier auch ein Fertigprodukt. Ich habe die Rinderleber mit Röstzwiebeln bestellt und anstatt Pommes dazu wollte ich Brokkoli mit etwas Sauce Bernaise, was prompt umgesetzt wurde. Die Leber war sehr gut gegrillt und zart. Die Röstzwiebeln sehr gut und der Brokkoli noch knackig. Bei der Soße vermute ich ein Fertigprodukt. Mein Gegenüber hatte Lachs und äußerte sich sehr lobend. Service sehr aufmerksam, es wurde gefragt, ob alles recht sei und die Getränkewünsche schnell umgesetzt. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung. Überdachte Raucherecke mit Heizstrahler.

Wir waren gestern dort. Die Hauptgerichte waren toll, der Service auch. Das Ambiente war eher schwierig, es war voll (sicherlich für einen Samstag Abend nicht ungewöhnlich), dadurch das die Tische sehr eng gestellt sind , ist es sehr eng und laut, eine Unterhaltung nur schwer möglich. Desweiteren waren die gefüllten Weinblätter ein Fertigprodukt, von einem Restaurant erwarte ich das keine Fertigware serviert wird. Schade.

Gute Speisen zu fairen Preisen. Die Speisekarte ist - wie für griechische Restaurants wohl üblich - sehr umfang- und variationsreich. Dass in Heiligenhaus wohl schon gegen 22:00h die Bürgersteige hochgeklappt werden, verkürzt den Arbeitstag der Bediensteten.

Hermes gibt es schon ewig, echtes lokales Urgestein - und soweit ich das beurteilen kann ist das meißt ein gutes Zeichen für ein Restaurant! Es gibt hier die üblichen Gerichte, vom Grill und vom Spieß. Die Qualität ist immer ordentlich und die Preise absolut fair. Besonders den liebenswürdigen Service muss man hervorheben, die absolutee Mehrzahl der Servicekräfte hat immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht und ist Aufmerksam. Dass es mal etwas länger dauern kann wenn das Haus bis auf den letzten Platz belegt ist, finde ich voll OK. Eben ein grundsolider Grieche!

Spontan hingegangen. Es war viel los, trotzdem gab es einen Platz für uns 4. Das Essen sehr lecker. Schön angerichtet. Modern eingerichtet, trotzdem ist man (frau) in Griechenland.

Essen war echt gut wie immer Leider der Service diesmal sehr anstrengend und unhöflich Hatte als Vorspeise ein Fischgericht und wollte zum Hauptgang neues Besteck haben Letztendlich musste ich 3 Service Kräften erklären warum ich mein Besteck nach der Vorspeise abgeben wollte. Düse war echt nervig und unpassend. Auch der nach Service von Getränken war nicht vorhanden unf zum Hauptgang bekommt jeder pauschal einen Salat hin gestellt Weiterhin war die Geräuschkulisse am Samstag Abend nicht schön Unterhaltungen waren fast nicht möglich und das gesamte Personal schien überfordert zu sein denn anders war due extrem lange Wartezeit von über 75 Minuten aufs Essen nicht zu rechtfertigen

Sehr leckeres Essen. Preise sind in den letzen Jahren zwar höher und Gerichte kleiner geworden, das ist aufgrund Inflation, Heizkosten usw. aber verständlich. Bedienung ist immer sehr freundlich und sympathisch, es ist alles sehr sauber. Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich, auch wenn es an manchen Tagen schon mal lauter ist.

Nach dem Pächterwechsel nur noch Durchschnitt. Die Herzlichkeit der alten Betreiber fehlt einfach, um Getränke muss man sich bemühen, es fehlt die Aufmerksamkeit am Gast. Preis Leistung beim Essen passt so gerade eben noch, weil die Preise schon ambitioniert sind. Die Terrasse hat durch die Glaswände leider an Charme verloren, man fühlt sich eingepfercht.

Die Moussaka war super. Das Bifteki war diesmal überwürzt wurde aber sofort gegen ein anderes Gericht getauscht. TOP!

Griechisch, freundlich, sehr lecker und in sehr guten Portionen. Dazu am Ende immer einen oder mehrere Ouzo. Am besten im Garten. Drinnen ist es immer sehr laut, aber das ist halt so.

Leckeres, würziges Essen (Fleisch, Salat, Tzatziki), Menge an Essen haben wir nicht geschafft 😉 Die Preise sind in meinen Augen mehr als fair. Der Chef ist eine Stimmungsgranate … beim Lied „Griechischer Wein“ sang fast das ganze Restaurant mit. So einen Griechen hätten wir sehr gerne in unserer Heimatstadt!

Wir lieben unser Hermes Restaurant in Heiligenhaus. Hier kann man einfach alles essen. Wenn ich mich für etwas entscheiden müsste, dann das überbackene Gyros. Aber auch alle anderen Teller sind klasse. Die Besitzer sind super, flexibel, in Corona Lockdown Zeiten konnte man alles Corona konform abholen. Im Sommer gibt es einen süßen Biergarten. Aber Vorsicht, immer reservieren, ist wirklich oft sehr voll. Das Zaziki ist auch der Hammer. Hatte auch mal 100 kleine Biftekis für eine Feier bestellt, super flexibel, super Preis, super nett. Kann man nur jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne zum Essen ins Hermes. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr schön. Das Essen kommt recht schnell und man fühlt sich sehr gut versorgt. Auch in der jetzigen schweren Corona Zeit haben wir den Abholservice genutzt. Die Qualität des Essens ist unverändert und wir werden sehen, unsere Freunde mit dieser Versorgungsart weiterhin zu unterstützen. Dies kann ich nur allen empfehlen, die ebenfalls gerne griechisch essen möchten.

War schon sehr oft da und ich würde auch immer wieder gerne dort essen. Die Fleischqualität, wie auch die Pommes oder der Reis.. fantastisch. Der Salat und die Soßen sind auch immer super frisch. Die Menschen sind immer suuuuper freundlich. Absolut keine Beanstandungen. Weiter so!

Wir sind spontan an diesen Abend in das Restaurant eingekehrt. Nettes Ambiente und sehr freundliches Personal. Ich habe gefüllte feine Schweinerouladen mit Kartoffelchips und meine Freundin hatte den Grillteller. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt.

Eine Institution in Heiligenhaus. Sehr lecker und dabei Preiswert. Herzliche Gastfreundschaft und ausreichend Platz um auch spontan einen Tisch zu bekommen. Im Sommer ein schöner Aussenbereich im Garten. Empfehlenswert sind auch die einfachen Gerichte wie Gyros mit Käse überbacken und Metaxa Sauce.

Lammkotelett und Gyros schmecken im Restaurant Hermes super gut. Unbedingt probieren. Wenn man auch noch mit dem Wetter Glück hat, kann man auf der schönen Terrasse unter Sonnenschirmen sitzen.

Wir waren schon unzählige Male mit der Familie und mit Freunden im Restaurant Hermes. Das Essen war immer sehr schmackhaft und das Servicepersonal sehr bemüht und freundlich. Die Portionen sind großzügig und auf Sonderwünsche wird gerne eingegangen. Eine klare Empfehlung von uns!

Das Restaurant ist zweckmäßig und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl an typischen Griechischen Gerichten. Das Essen war lecker und die Portion ausreichend. Wenn ich mal wieder etwas beim Griechen essen möchte, dann wird Hermes meine erste Wahl sein. Besonders zu erwähnen sind aus meiner Sicht die Servicemitarbeiter. Obwohl das Restaurant voll besetzt war, waren sie sehr freundlich und hatten immer eine Auge auf unseren Tisch, damit auch nichts fehlte.

Wir waren mal wieder im Restaurant Hermes. Das Essen war wieder sehr reichlich und gut. Wir hatten die leckeren Lammkoteletts gegessen. Schade ist nur, dass in der Woche zur Mittagszeit geschlossen ist. Also nur am Wochenende ist das Essen Mittags möglich.

Wir waren mal wieder nach längerer Zeit im Hermes Restaurant essen. Wir sind drei befreundete Paare und treffen uns immer mal wieder zum gemeinsamen Abendessen. Im Hermes waren wir schon länger nicht mehr und nach unserem Besuch haben wir uns gefragt warum eigentlich? Das Ambiente schön griechisch, das Personal sehr herzlich, fast jeder Kunde wurde mit Handschlag oder einer Umarmung begrüßt, Service schnell und aufmerksam und das Essen einfach nur köstlich. Gyros, Bifreki und Grillteller sehr schmackhaft und auch reichlich. Meine Freundin hatte Lammfilet und ich ein Rinderfiletsteak beste Qualität und auf dem Punkt genau gebraten😋. Mein Fazit: probiert bei diesem Griechen auch mal was anderes😉. Und immer ein wenig Platz lassen für den Ouzo

Sonntag waren wir das erste mal dort Mittagessen.Bedienung sehr Freundlich,das Essen reichlich+sehr gut.Wir werden dort wieder hin fahren.Der Weg von Essen aus lohnt sich.
