A very good Greek restaurant in Mannheim that we go to regularly. The owners have been very friendly for years.

From the time we entered the restaurant, my wife and I encountered wonderful staff that were full of hospitality, asking if everything was alright and if we needed anything through the duration of our meal. "Great Service, Great Atmosphere, Great Food and The quality is immaculante for the price.

From our seats, we could watch the chef grilling. It was very interesting, and you can see that the food is freshly prepared.

For my 30th birthday, I had to find a restaurant on the spur of the moment, so I called pretty late the night before, just hoping for a bit of luck. Nevertheless, I got an immediate reservation. I simply asked if it would be possible to get a quieter table, and the next day I was more than surprised: We were given an entire separate room! It was a wonderful and unexpected gesture. The staff were very friendly (especially child-friendly) and attentive, and the food was simply fantastic—perfectly flavorful and prepared with lots of love. I'm truly thrilled and can highly recommend the restaurant!

Hermes Grill is one of our favorite Greek restaurants! The food is delicious and the prices are absolutely fair. You should make a reservation well in advance, as the restaurant is almost always busy – and rightly so! The only small drawback: free parking nearby is unfortunately scarce. Nevertheless, we always enjoy coming back!

Wir kamen kurz vor offiziellem Schluß der Küche und wurden trotzdem lecker bekocht. Ich bin Rollstuhl Fahrer und mit Hilfe ging es über die Treppe im Hof nach innen. Der Biergarten selbst ist barrierefrei.

The lamb plate is awesome!!! Meat perfect and to the point. The appetizer platter for 2 is also a must. Not to mention the Greek white wine.

We were there a few times on May 31st, 2024 on our wedding anniversary for the last time. And I can say the food is very, very good like it was 30 years ago when I was there the first time. Yesterday I was at Hermesgrill with my wife and mother. Everything great from A to Z. Always happy 😊😊😊😊😉😉😉

The restaurant may be getting old, but the beautiful floral decorations and the spotless white tablecloths make you overlook a lot of things. The employees are very nice and attentive. And the food... my goodness, we haven't eaten so well in a long time. The meat is juicy, tender and wonderfully seasoned. The fries look like they were made from fresh potatoes. The rice with tomatoes and peppers was delicious to look at and prepared. And the colorful salad with beans, carrots and much more. wasn't too sour. A dollop of tzatziki crowned this culinary delight. Thank you for this taste experience.

Very comfortably furnished restaurant with white tablecloths, fresh flowers on the table and cloth servers. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent. The best gyros, pleasant atmosphere.

Actually a good Greek in Mannheim, but... "Hermes" is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a great outdoor area. The employees are all very nice and a large menu invites you to linger. However, “dwell” is meant quite literally here. Unfortunately we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. And this in a restaurant that wasn't exactly overcrowded and only two dishes were ordered (gyros plate and grill plate). However, the food was good and plentiful. The friendly employee also quickly asked whether everything was OK and whether we liked it. An attention that was somewhat missing when reordering the drinks. During the long wait for our food, we always placed empty glasses together at the edge of the table. The waiters always walked past it without even asking us if we wanted another drink. We always had to draw attention to ourselves by waving. With the bill we were each offered an ouzo on the house, which we gladly accepted. All in all, we were happy with the stay, even though it lasted longer than planned. So, the restaurant is definitely recommended as long as you have enough time. Another thing to note about the menu is that there are very few vegetarian dishes.

Simply the best Greek in the Mannheim area and region... I've been eating there for as long as I can remember / my parents took us there as a family and now I do. The quality is very good, extras are always included (I only eat loin there, sometimes with sometimes without a starter and no matter where I have eaten loin so far, it is and remains the best cuisine) / Service is top. Here the boss himself is still in the kitchen!

Hermes has been around for ages, quality prevails and remains. Actually, the food is always good. This time we were a bit unlucky, the gyros were partly still "rose" and somehow not as tasty as usual. The restaurant itself could use a new look in the front seating area, perhaps to create a little more distance between the tables.

Have been to this Greek restaurant with family before. But not for a while now. We felt very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and questions about the dishes and changes to the side dishes were no problem. We were all very satisfied and full. The portions were plentiful. The well-behaved Rottweiler we brought with us wasn't a problem either - we got a famous place. Reservation absolutely necessary.

We are disappointed. Years ago we were regular guests, then the portions got bigger but the quality got worse, hence the break of several years. Today we were there again, the background noise was much too loud, we felt uncomfortable. The drinks were taken too late. The side salad, the beans, the carrot salad, nothing dressed. This was a raw vegetable salad. The salad ingredients were not good. No high-quality green lettuce (corn lettuce like before, green lettuce) no yellow and purple lettuce. No dressing, no oil, no vinegar, no spices, no herbs. The fiasco afterwards: the main courses were all dry and way too much meat. My pork loin turned out to be a pork fillet steak (it wasn't a loin), my specially ordered small bifteki turned out to be a Suzuki. Beef fillet rose, lamb salmon rose. Unfortunately dry. The meat was dull, all the meat juice was floating on the plate. Either the food was frozen or they forgot to salt the meat at room temperature (so that the broken protein prevents the juice from escaping). There are many weaknesses in the craftsmanship and the price is far too high. - No melted butter, no spices, no herbs on the meat. I ordered tzatziki and onions (they were completely missing), I ordered with herb and garlic butter. That was also missing, when it came the meat, which was lukewarm to the maximum, was almost cold and inedible. With meat cooked medium (internal temperature of 56-58 degrees), the food was light years away. We skipped dessert (there was no galaktoboureko anyway). No recommendation!!

Mit eines der besten Restaurants Mannheims! Hervorragender Service, fantastische Küche, große Flexibilität der Belegschaft. Wer freitags bis sonntags dorthin möchte, sollte lieber früher reservieren, denn trotz vieler Sitzplätze, ist es oft ausgebucht. Wir (6-10) Personen gehen 2-3 Mal im Monat hin und werden jedes Mal aufs Neue von diesem Klasse-Laden positiv überrascht. Kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Wir hatten dieses mal unsere Weihnachtsfeier hier, es war einfach erstklassig, Inhaber sehr zuvor kommend wir waren um die 30 Personen oder mehr, habe es nicht durchgezählt, der Vorspeise Teller war der Hammer. Wir hatten eine kleine Speisekarte eine sehr gute Auswahl. Das Essen kam zügig leider haben wir so viel Vorspeise gegessen, das ein paar von uns die Hauptspeise nicht mehr geschafft haben. Wir durften die Reste aber mitnehmen. Wir waren weit über die Öffnungszeiten da. Ich kann es nur empfehlen Bedienungen Inhaber alle super nett und auf Zack

Wir gehen seit Jahren zum Hermes Grill und können bis heute nur gutes Berichten. Durch Corona kann man aktuell nicht dort essen, aber bestellen und abholen. Um dies zu erleichtern hängt die Speisekarte an, damit jeder die Köstlichkeiten bestellen kann.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service toll und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

War mit meiner Familie dort gewesen, hatten ein separaten Raum sehr sehr schön gewesen. Essen war sehr lecker das Fleisch war richtig toll und lecker gewesen außer Mosakka das hatte mir nicht geschmeckt da wurde wohl was anderst gemacht als normal sagte eine Dame und dies wurde mir nicht berechnet und bekam meine Getränke nicht berechnet als Entschuldigung was ich eine super Geste fand. Fehler passieren mal aber man muss nur ehrlich sein wenn einem etwas nicht schmeckt. Hatten eine sehr nette freundliche und kompetente Bedienung :) leider musste man etwas länger warten da das Restaurant sehr voll war aber dies war in Ordnung. Kommen sehr gerne wieder. Reservieren sollte man vorher da spontan eher schlecht dort ist da sehr voll immer ist. Kommen gern wieder

Exzellentes Essen. Wir haben das Restaurant zufällig entdeckt und es wurde zu unserem Lieblingsrestaurant.Eine herzliche Atmosphäre, sehr gastfreundliche Menschen, die Lust auf ein Wiederkommen machen. Ich empfehle mit Zuversicht. ☺️

Das Essen war wieder super lecker, sehr zu empfehlen. Wie immer alles frisch zubereitet, obwohl wir 16 Personen waren, wurde das Essen sehr zügig zeitgleich serviert. Vielen lieben Dank auch an die Besitzer des Lokals, für unseren späten Aufbruch nach Feierabend.

Wir waren in der Nähe und sind spontan dorthin gekommen aufgrund von Google Bewertungen. Wir hatten also keinen Tisch reserviert. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und uns wurden mehrere Plätze angeboten. Die Bestellung erfolgte zügig, Getränke und Vorspeisen wurden schnell serviert. Die Hauptspeise hat 45 min gedauert aber meiner Meinung noch im Rahmen da das Restaurant auch gut besucht war. Ouzo gab es nur zur Rechnung, bin ich anders gewohnt aber ok.

Seid langer Zeit mal wieder sehr gut essen gewesen. Super Service. Klasse Essen...gute Portionen. Und der kleine Hof ist unfassbar gemütlich zum sitzen... genau wir das kleine Nebenzimmer...perfekt für Geburtstage oder ne kleine runde unter Freunden. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Wir sind so halb spontan mit einer Truppe von fast 20 Leuten da eingeritten und uns wurde gleich zu Beginn gesagt, dass alles ein bisschen länger dauern könnte wegen unterbesetzt. Gemerkt haben wir davon nicht viel. Das Essen kam nicht zu spät und kleine Fehler wurden sofort korrigiert. Die Chefin kam nicht nur einmal um sich nach uns zu erkundigen und auch der Koch hat sich blicken lassen. Das Essen war toll und wir waren am Ende wirklich zufrieden. Ein schöner Abend weil willkommen gefühlt. Klare Empfehlung.

Sehr zu empfehlen und einer der besten Griechen hier in Käfertal. Service war super und sehr zuvorkommend. Extrawünsche wurden ohne Probleme erfüllt. Man bekam sehr zügig sein Essen und die Getränke. Es wurde immer geschaut ob man noch etwas braucht. Das Essen war super lecker und frisch. Wir saßen drausen in dem schön gemachten Außenbereich. Es war gemütlich und sehr Familiär. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Alles in allem ein solides Restaurant. Leider wurde beim gegrillten Schafskäse fertige Knoblauchpaste verwendet anstatt frischem sowie der Aufbau davon sehr skurril war. Anstatt Zwiebeln bekommt man hier ein Haufen Paprika und Champignons, dass geht gar nicht!!!. Der Lendenspieß war vom Fleisch her in Ordnung allerdings wurde auch hier wieder Emmentaler anstatt schmelzkäse benutzt was überhaupt nicht passt. Das Fleisch war teilweise roh. Andere Gerichte sagen dafür aber extrem gut aus.

Für mich das beste griechische Restaurant in der Umgebung! Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und sehr gutes Essen. Gemütliche geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Sehr schöner Aussenbereich im Sommer. Nicht sehr gross daher besser reservieren.

Das Essen ist hier einfach immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Das Ambiente, gerade im Außenbereich gehört mit zu den schönsten in der Region und auch der Service stimmt hier. Meiner Meinung nach das beste griechische Restaurant in ganz Mannheim und Preis Leistung stimmt hier ebenfalls. Wenn wir mal Lust auf Griechisch haben und essen gehen wollen, dann ist Hermes Grill das Restaurant unserer Wahl.

Tolles Lokal mit sehr gutem Essen und freundlichem Personal. Der offene Blumige Außenbereich ist ganz toll.
