Yesterday, we were a group of almost 20 for our family Christmas dinner at this restaurant and were unfortunately very disappointed. The table we were assigned was very inconvenient. It was far too cramped for so many people, and we had the next table right behind us. We were seated in the outdoor area in a corner that was clearly not heated enough. So we ended up splitting up, which is rather unsuitable for a planned Christmas dinner. While the staff seemed generally helpful, it was quite clear that special requests weren't welcome. For example, it wasn't possible to order the children's food earlier. Instead, we had to wait until everyone had arrived and order together – very impractical with children. The drink prices were already very high, but we found the food prices completely disproportionate. For a location that isn't exactly central, they're charging prices like you'd find in downtown Mannheim – but without the corresponding quality. A rump steak for €33 is simply unreasonable when you can get better quality in the city center for almost the same price. Beware, this is where you get the most expensive pepperoni as an appetizer in the world – €9.70 for a very meager portion, an absolute outrage! And it comes with a half-filled bread basket (4 tiny pieces of bread per portion of pepperoni, which you obviously share as an appetizer). The additional charges were particularly disappointing: – More bread was charged extra at €3 per basket (4 pieces of white bread) – Tzatziki was an extra €7.50 (necessary because some of the food was incredibly dry) – Ketchup and mayo for the children's schnitzel were also charged at €3.50. We found this petty and an absolute rip-off, especially considering the already very high prices. Overall, a very disappointing evening, which was completely different from what we had envisioned for a family Christmas dinner. We will definitely not be visiting this restaurant again.

Absolutely recommended! The food is consistently fresh, authentic, and prepared with great care – but the pepperoni is simply amazing. Crisp, perfectly seasoned, and just the right amount of heat – by far the best in town! The service is warm and attentive; you truly feel welcome here. The ambiance is also typically Greek: cozy, lively, and inviting.

Number 1 in Mannheim and the surrounding area. The owner, Kostas, is very friendly, dedicated, and someone who truly understands the restaurant business. The lamb fillet was tender and perfectly cooked. It's always a pleasure to eat there. Anyone who's been once is guaranteed to return. He's simply the best Greek restaurant, and we always look forward to our visits. The waiters are all welcoming and create a perfect atmosphere! Here you'll find a perfectly coordinated team. Yesterday, the four of us were there and had a truly wonderful evening. Although the restaurant was very busy, Kostas personally made sure we got the best table in the corner – quiet, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing evening. That alone shows how much they value their guests. The atmosphere was excellent: lively, warm, and very pleasant. You immediately feel welcome. The food was simply outstanding. The lamb fillet steak, in particular, was an absolute highlight – melt-in-your-mouth tender, grilled to perfection, and of exceptional quality. The rump steak was also sensational: juicy, flavorful, and superbly prepared. You can immediately taste that only high-quality meat is used. The tzatziki deserves special praise – fresh, creamy, perfectly seasoned, and definitely one of the best we've had in a long time. Overall, every dish was delicious and prepared with great care. A huge compliment also goes to the service: incredibly friendly, attentive, and warm without being intrusive. The waiters were consistently professional and cheerful; you can tell it's a great team working together. Many thanks to the entire team and especially to Kostas for the warmth and hospitality. This is a restaurant you'll want to return to again and again, not just for the food, but also for the people. We'll definitely be back!

We held our Christmas party there for the third year in a row, and the restaurant was, as always, very busy. It was fantastic, as always. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent.

The grilled pepperoni with garlic sauce was to die for, and the gyros and skewers were also beautifully presented and delicious. Unfortunately, there were some communication issues with the service, which made paying quite a bit longer, even though it wasn't busy, so it loses 1 star. But it's definitely worth a visit, at least for those who can still afford it, because the quality comes at a price. To finish, there's a delicious ouzo on the house.

The food is really very good. Unfortunately, the ambience is a bit old. But price performance is okay.

My expectations for my food were not met. I had a bifteki with rice (not baked). The bifteki itself was okay, but I had dry white rice as a side dish. I was actually expecting the typical tomato rice here. In addition, no tzatziki was served with the dish, which is why the rice went down even worse. There were no onions on the plate either. For me, that's just part of being Greek!

We would have liked to have visited the restaurant and rated it better, but unfortunately only cash payment is possible. So we had to visit another restaurant. In 2025, card payments should be possible everywhere.

Was there on Christmas Day and just gave it a thumbs up, I especially have to praise the staff. Very friendly, if you were stressed you didn't notice it, always came to the table and asked if anything was needed. We'll definitely be back.

Went there for dinner on Boxing Day - and everything was fine again. From the good rump steak to the ouzo at the end and a very friendly person - and the fact that the boss always helps out himself also makes him likeable. We'll be back in the new year

Grilled pepperoni with garlic sauce and a touch of curry were delicious, the lamb fillet skewer was on point and buttery tender, the side salad was very fresh. Service very attentive and atmosphere cozy. Everyone at our table was thrilled and would be happy to come again at any time.

My favorite Greek cuisine for years. The pieces of meat are always on point. The Metaxa sauce is unparalleled. The salads are always very fresh. If the weather permits, you can spend some time in a real beer garden lined with trees.
