Great team with top exceptional Greek food

There were 5 of us 30 minutes before the kitchen closed. It was incomparably good! Each of us had the best meat we have ever eaten! Carpacio=Fantastic! Filet and Entricote=Incredibly good! Thanks for the fantastic food!

The Akropolis in Mannheim has a super cozy and inviting atmosphere. The service was totally friendly and attentive. The food was really tasty, especially the acropolis plate - the meat was super tender and perfectly seasoned! The fresh salad and the starters (grilled pepperoni and fried calamari) were also great. Can highly recommend the restaurant. Had a very nice evening, thank you very much!

The service is really friendly and quick. We were lucky and got a table for 1 hour even though we hadn't made a reservation. Meat great, but the side dishes could use some seasoning. The coffee flavor is missing from the tiramisu. Unfortunately there is little choice for vegetarians.

I ate here 40 years ago and UNFORTUNATELY lost sight of the Acropolis and fortunately I have just rediscovered it. Delicious food and very friendly service! We enjoyed it a second time. Absolutely recommended!

Super cool restaurant. I come here almost regularly and it is one of the best Greek restaurants I know. The food is simply amazing and the garlic sauce is a dream. I can only recommend everyone to eat here, but you should make a reservation in advance because it is always busy.

Akropolisteller (mix grilled meat platter) was AMAZING 🤤🥹 The steak and lamb is so perfectly grilled 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 the sauce to pair with it also so good, definitely elevated the steak flavour 😳 the salad that came together was also well seasoned, very refreshing! Just order this if you’re first time there and have no idea what to try! Tintinfischteller (squid platter) was also not bad, most of the squid is grilled to perfection as well, one slightly over but still acceptable! The starter — grilled bread, was the best bread / best start bread I’ve had in Germany so far 🤩 it pick up the smoky fragrant of the grill so well!! (I usually don’t finish the starter bread lol but this was so good) Quality of the ingredient is pretty fresh, the chef knows what’s he doing! Flavour, texture, everything is really great! House Red wine 🍷 (recommended by the waitress) is nice too! My boyfriend love it 🥰 The restaurant is not that big and it’s fully reserved, however we reach at the time they just open, so they still let us dine for an hour. Making a reservation is pretty much recommended 😊

Today, six of us went to eat at Akropolis...it was truly perfect...the service, the amazing starters with delicious bread, the fish and meat of fantastic quality...and the dessert absolutely delicious...we'd love to come back. If you're looking for high-quality Greek cuisine, this is the place for you...

Unfortunately, the Akropolis is a bit dated. Prices have also risen dramatically. The food used to taste much better. I wanted to give it another chance, but I think I'll pass.

Top Fleischgerichte, guter Service. Insbesondere Flank-Steaks sind zu empfehlen. Für mich das Highlight ist die griechische Zitronensuppe, die wird kaum noch in griechischen Restaurants angeboten

The food in the restaurant is very overpriced. There is nothing upscale cuisine there, just standard dishes. The charcoal grill is already available everywhere.

Very high quality local ingredients are excellent and prepared to a very high standard. Ambience isn't my favorite but that wouldn't stop me with this level of cuisine.

Very friendly service. My gyro meat was a bit mixed but generally speaking everyone else's food was great. The ambience was classically beautiful. Unfortunately, I had significant problems with the scent of the flowers. At least I hope it was the flowers. For all of us, I say like toilet freshener, so it kind of grossed me out. But everyone is so nice and still recommended.

The Akropolis Restaurant offers an excellent culinary experience with a diverse menu. I had the pleasure of trying the fillet steak ribeye and veal chop and all dishes exceeded our expectations. The food was deliciously prepared and of high quality. The service was always attentive and professional, which contributed to an overall pleasant visit. Overall, I can fully recommend the Akropolis restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit.

The food was nice, however we got mushrooms instead of mussels due to mistranslation in the English menu we used. I really cannot complain about the lrmon soup, the lamb, the veal liver or any of the sweets we had. The place looks very neat and classy, but I'm afraid they are understaffed. It took 10 minutes to get the menu, additional 30 to order and some more waiting to get the food. Overall about an hour waiting despite we had a reservation.

Always a pleasure to be here. Top meat quality. Prices are not particularly cheap but definitely reasonable.

If you are looking for a Greek restaurant after work that is still open very late, the Akropolis is the perfect place for you if you accept the slightly higher price level. In return, mine has excellent meat quality.

Nous avons diner dans ce restaurant très convivial et avons passé une très bonne soirée. Le personnel est aux petits soins et le service rapide. Le restaurant propose une grande variété de très bon plats grecs.

Decor was fine, staff friendly but the food did not taste Greek. Even the tzatziki was not tasty....

Inrichting en bediening was goed. Eten smaakte niet Grieks. Gyros was niet knapperig en de gehaktballetjes waren een soort van vettige worstjes. Zelfs de tzatziki was niet lekker. Jammer...

Without exaggerating, I haven't had such a good meal in a restaurant in a long time. The starter was already a dream. Then an Acropolis plate, the meat was so tender, simply delicious. The sauces were perfectly balanced and the salad looked like it was fresh from the market. You can't beat the service either. Everyone was super friendly. Thank you for this lovely evening.

The best Greek with by far the best steaks.

It does! Look at the picture and do it. Go there. Excellent meat quality, grilled to perfection. Excellent selection of starters and side dishes! The Greek dishes, whether fish or meat, are also top.

We always wanted to try the place because of positive recommendations. Personally, I can't understand the many very good reviews. The reserved table was not yet free when we arrived on time, making it difficult to wait due to the narrowness of the restaurant. Would there have been another one available at the time, obviously better located for regular customers? The flexibility was missing. The assigned table was narrow, in the next room, in the corner next to toilets, some of us were just looking at a wall. It was also very cramped in the rest of the restaurant that Friday evening (the pictures on the website give a somewhat different picture), but that's why it wasn't exactly comfortable. It always felt cold from the door, even though we weren't even sitting right next to it. The service likes to focus on regular customers with high-priced orders. The ambience takes some getting used to, with stone-look wallpaper, very outdated but that's the case with many other Greek restaurants too. The food was good but nothing more and the price/performance ratio was not appropriate. The meat is of good quality, but the salmon was sliced ​​very thinly and therefore too dry, and the frozen vegetable side dishes were steam-cooked and not very seasoned. Hollandaise sauce on every second dish has nothing to do with Greek cuisine. The starters were ok but limited in quantity. If you compare the card a year ago the prices increased by at least 25%. They somehow try to strike a balance between Greek cuisine and upscale cuisine, which unfortunately doesn't work. Apart from the external appearance, I was missing a certain warmth here that is so typical in Greek restaurants.

The staff was extremely friendly and the food was simply delicious. We had the grilled pepperoni, the tender rump steak and the chicken feta skewer. Everything was great! We can only recommend it to everyone and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Unfortunately, despite our reservation for 10 people, we were treated as if we hadn't made a reservation. We even had to prove that we called through the call list. The lady became very unfriendly and every time she came to the table she said that we might have canceled the reservation. Not recommended

Waren das erste Mal da und gehen ganz sicher wieder hin. Sehr sehr schön und ansprechend weihnachtlich geschmückt, sehr gemütlich, alles sehr sehr lecker.

Elegantes mediterranes Restaurant, bekannt für Fisch und Steaks vom Holzkohlegrill sowie griechische Klassiker.

Einfach nur perfekt. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen, das Essen ist unglaublich, egal welches Gericht man bestellt, es schmeckt frisch und sehr gut. Außerdem bin ich von der Qualität des fleisches beeindruckt, die ist oberste Klasse. Es ist ein Edelrestaurant, das ist sicher. Nur einige Tische hinten sind etwas zu klein für 4 Personen zb. Aber sonst gibt es keine Anregungen. Die Lammkoteletts sind absolute Empfehlung meinerseits. Geh wieder gerne hin.

Das Essen ist perfekt. Wir haben lange nicht mehr so gutes leckeres und zartes Fleisch/ Fisch gehabt. Ich ziehe keine Punkte ab, aber das trockene Gewürz am Ende ggf. nur auf die Seite, auf dem Teller streuen. Somit hat man die Wahl. Uns war es an einigen Stellen zu viel von diesem Gewürz. Oder allg. Etwas weniger, ist bekanntlich mehr. Das Ambiente ist klasse, alles sieht sauber aus und ist ordentlich. Die Blumen, waren erstaunlicherweise echt und sehr schön zusammengestellt. Die Bäder könnt man renovieren, aber waren sauber und funktional.

Bester Grieche in der Rhein-Neckar-Region! Paradies für Fleischliebhaber.

Alles Super! Essen war perfekt! Leider hat einer der Kellnerin so viel Parfüm getragen, dass jedes mal wenn sie den Raum betreten hat man es sofort gerochen hat. Ohne sie zu sehen.

Waren schon lange nicht mehr griechisch essen. Persönlich habe ich das Gefühl, das es mit der Qualität etwas bergab geht, möglicherweise durch die gestiegenen Energiekosten. Ja und dann sind wir spontan im Akopolis gelandet. Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Dessert waren richtig gut. Wir haben uns natürlich total überfressen … aber im Großen und Ganzen waren die frisch gegrillten Lammkoteletts und Steaks wirklich gut. Ich habe nichts zu bemängeln. Kann es mit ruhigen Gewissen weiterempfehlen…

We ate there as a party of 6. The place is an Greek restaurant, but apparently more known for their steak. The atmosphere is really good, but not Greek themed. The service is really good. We got appetisers, the squid is really good Beef ribs is really good and their tomahawk steak is also very good. We got 5 different desserts and they were all good. It's really close to a 5 star rating, but price have to count a little down.

Das Akropolis ist für Fleischliebhaber ein Muss!

Das Essen war sehr gut und schmackhaft. Qualitativ hervorragend. Service war auch sehr gut. Manchmal etwas unkoordiniert, da z.B. zwei Kellnerinnen unabhängig voneinander Bestellungen annehmen wollten. So bekamen wir dann auch zwei Mal die Rechnung 😀. Das Ambiente war eher etwas einfach - aber interessant. Kurzum: empfehlenswert aber teilweise etwas zu teuer

Griechisches Restaurant schönes Ambiente und das Essen ist sehr sehr gut und reichlich. Hab schon verschiedene griechische Restaurants ausprobiert aber es übertrifft alle.

Seit über 30 Jahren Gast und noch nie schlecht gegessen. Das Essen ist immer 1+++ Personal sehr familiär wie immer. Egal was man ist Fleisch oder Fisch es ist einfach alles zu empfehlen. Auf die nächsten 30 Jahre.

Hier tut alles gut, die gemütliche Atmosphäre, das köstliche Soulfood, die ansteckende Freude der Menschen, die hier arbeiten…

Super Essen, aber durchaus schon etwas preisintensiv. Man schaut dem Koch live beim Grillen zu. Service auch gut. Recht klein insgesamt, in Stoßzeiten vermutlich Reservierung zu empfehlen. Wie haben aber auch 18:30 noch unreserviert einen Tisch für drei bekommen.

Sehr feines griechisches Restaurant! Nicht zu vergleichen mit herkömmlichen griechischen Lokalen. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Trotz gehobener Küche war es auch kein Problem mit Baby und Kleinkind zu kommen, vielen Dank!

Sono stato in questo posto più volte per festeggiare diverse occasioni e non sono mai rimasto deluso. La carne è fantastica, il posto è caldo e accogliente e i camerieri sono gentilissimi (uno di loro si ricorda persino il tavolo che ci è piaciuto di più e i piatti che abbiamo preso l'ultima volta). Questo è un posto dove mangiare sia piatti greci straordinari che carne molto gustosa e speciale. I've been in this place multiple times to celebrate different occasions, and I've never been disappointed. The meat is amazing, the place is warm and cozy and the waiters are super kind (one of them even remember the table we liked the most and the dishes we took last time). This is a place where to eat both amazing greek dishes but also very tasty and special meat.
