I really like it here. My schnitzel with salad was just the right amount of warm. Everything was delicious.

A beautifully located pub with very friendly service. The summer salad with Maultaschen (swabian pasta) was delicious.

We were at Besen today. I ordered a pan-fried schnitzel, which arrived lukewarm. It was tasteless but had plenty of breadcrumbs and was very thin. My wife ordered a meat platter, which also came lukewarm, and the cabbage and sausages were tasteless. This was our first visit and also our last. We're used to better Besen!

Just read it at consumer info-bw.de: During the inspection, numerous and sometimes significant violations of food law were discovered. Overall, the company was very dirty. During the inspection, coarse bratwursts were found that were five days past their use-by date, as well as cracked eggs that were supposed to be put on the market. Suspicious samples were then collected and sent to the Stuttgart Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office for assessment. In reports dated March 20 and 25, 2024, the samples were judged to be unsuitable for human consumption. In the “cracked eggs” sample, mold and yeast infestation was found, among other things. In addition, various sausages, meat and unwashed vegetables were stored openly together. The sausages were also stored at a temperature that was 1.7°C too high. Cooking was also carried out in a barn and food stored in the open was treated. However, the barn extension generally did not meet the legal requirements because it was contaminated and the structural equipment was not in a well-maintained condition or, in some cases, non-existent. For example, no installation of a hand basin for hygienic hand washing could be identified. There were also a large number of cobwebs in the ceiling and wall areas. Glass wool (insulating material) was exposed on the ceiling area above the stove. Various cables were sticking out of the ceiling area. There was therefore a risk of adverse influence or contamination of the food produced in the company.

A great pub in a great atmosphere – the terrace is very idyllic, and the interior is just like it used to be – cozy :-) Delicious food, and the service is very personal and friendly. A quaint pub!

Der nette kleine Besen lädt förmlich nach der Wanderung zum verweilen auf der schattigen und luftigen Terrasse ein. Wir genossen die kühlen Getränke bei gutem Service. Aber das Preis - Leistung Verhältnis beim Besentoast sollte man nochmals überdenken, ansonsten waren wir zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder. Immer wieder ein Erlebnis, einfach ein Besen der alten Schule

Besenwirtschaft....Jeden Monat 1 mal für 4-5 tage geöffnet. Hat freiterrasse im sommer. Tischbestellung möglich. Neu: 18.9.2020 = Besentoast vegetarisch war das Geld nicht wert. Brot war verbrannt, der Belag war sehr lieblos und alles einfach aufeinander gelegt. Bin sehr enttäuscht. Das Sauerkraut bei der Schlachplatte schmeckte nach NIX. Das Essen war schon mal besser!!! 😒

Mal guter, mal weniger guter Service. Geschmacklich gut

Sehr leckeres Essen und auch Personal. Haben einen eigenen Rotwein der auch sehr lecker ist. Empfehlen kann ich das Naturschnitzel mit Zwiebel und Kräuterbutter.
