Henninger Stube in Forst

I was at this restaurant today, August 2, 2025, around 8:20 p.m. Henninger Stuben is unique! The ambiance is the only thing that makes it stand out; I wouldn't have given anything else a star. There's apparently no menu available here. The assistant is deaf and mute, and the other waiter is long past retirement. I don't mind older people, but you should know when to stop working! I was able to order a shandy, but when I asked for something to eat, there was no response. So, unfortunately, I can't comment on the food; I was refused. It's a shame the reviews were positive for the restaurant. I looked for something else after the shandy. Drinking time for the beer was 10 minutes, stay was 25 minutes. Perhaps the right choice for long-time residents, but not recommended for tourists! I won't be coming here again!

A dining experience – it's such a quaint pub. Time has literally stood still here, but that's exactly what makes it special. The owner and his wife are unique. The food was absolutely fantastic – such a huge portion. We were there with seven men. We ate so well, drank several beers from steins (whether they were all washed – I have no idea 😂), and the fun factor was simply over the top! Yes, the meal takes a long time, why? Because only one schnitzel fits in the pan! You have to experience it! If you get the chance, visit the Henninger Stuben! It's rare to find something like this in Germany.

Of course, we come here often, the food is always very good, Gabi and Helmut are unique!

The page should be adjusted. It says it can be taken with you. When you call to come pick it up you are told that it would only be possible in 3 hours. Two stars because the gentleman was still very nice.

The schnitzel was awesome. A dream, both in terms of taste and quantity. The spaetzle with it, simply brilliant. It's worth waiting for, because you have to.

Quaint pub that has something of a cult status in Forst. Simple dishes like schnitzel with potato salad and sauce are just super good and huge. The only downside is the long waiting times for food.

In search of traditional cuisine, we came across this brewery/restaurant: very satisfied! Excellent cuisine, very kind service and beautiful environment. We will definitely be back again next year.

Nice service, good and tasty food

Passing through for work, we couldn't find a restaurant with local cuisine, we saw a photo of a plate and we came straight away. We ate there the two evenings we spent in Germany. Both evenings there must have been a table of 4 left, otherwise it's full, with quick and cheap beer service (5.50 per liter), even the dishes are 12€, and given the size of the schnitzel it's An opportunity not to be missed!

No longer a smoking establishment, there is now a smoking lounge in front of the door. Everything else is GUT as always with Helmut. Simply a great pub for a nightcap after a nice day. The cap evenings at Henninger are legendary!!

Wir waren auf dem Oktoberfest und das war super. Es herrschte eine schöne Stimmung, gab knusprige Haxen, Bier 🍻 und auch Wein und für gute Musik war auch gesorgt. Sehr zu empfehlen, das nächste Oktober Fest ist schon für uns gebucht 👍

Liebe und Herzens gute Dame in der Küche und ein lieber und Herzens guter Mann hinter dem Tresen und natürlich auch eine top Aushilfe im großen und ganzen ein super herzliches und gut eingespieltes Team

Ist sehr Uhrig und als Dorfkneipe einfach Klasse.

Przypadkiem trafiłem tu dzisiaj (04.03.2023) ze znajomymi którzy mieszkają w Forst/Bruchsal. Fantastyczni i przemili właściciele, świetny klimat i styl oraz najlepszy (i największy) "schnitzel" jaki kiedykolwiek i gdziekolwiek jadłem w Niemczech. Absolutna rewelacja. Polecam!

Als völlig Fremder, aus dem Norden stammend, fühlte ich mich bestens aufgehoben und darf mich an dieser Stelle für den freundlichen Service sowie das perfekt zubereitete Schnitzel herzlichst bedanken.

Es gibt sehr sehr gutes Essen das Preis - Leistungsverhälniss ist perfekt. Die Gastgeber sind wunderbare freundliche nette Menschen zu denen man immer wieder einkehren möchte. Dafür muss man einfach Danke sagen.

Ich war mit meiner Freundin da und die Wirtsleute sind sehr nett und das gefällt mir auch sehr gut und das Schnitzel schmeckt auch wie früher
