Super satisfied, very tasty and served quickly. Service top.

Delicious asparagus dishes, good regional wines and great staff. The location was full but we still received wonderful service - thank you very much, we will be back

Very good food and friendly service. Not exactly cheap but really tasty

Unfortunately very poor value for money. Very expensive dishes, but only normal portion sizes. The meat is not freshly prepared - just warmed up or fully cooked. The schnitzels in particular are small, dry and fatty. And for the fact that you hardly have a restaurant feeling, the prices are simply far too high. Sorry, but I don't recommend it.

I don't think the prices match the portions at all

My omelet with asparagus was delicious. The strawberries in the dessert are delicious, aromatic and sweet. If you want to eat good asparagus, the Böser Spargelrestaurant is the right address.

Moderate food that used to be tastier, at completely inflated prices

We were there with 7 people and four people were very satisfied with their asparagus meal! However, all three people were extremely dissatisfied with schnitzel for eating asparagus; frozen schnitzel (convenience) in the lowest price category was hard, tasteless and not even fresh from the deep fryer. We didn't expect this in the price range >€30 for the food and a large competitor on the south side of Karlsruhe makes it fresh in the same price range. Would we give the asparagus restaurant another chance under the current operator? I do not think so!

Despite a maximum of 30% occupancy, the service was slow. With the asparagus there was also a very dry ready-made schnitzel at a very high price. I used to like being here...

Very good seasonal asparagus cuisine, great dishes with strawberries, as well as desserts. Reservation essential. Around 200 seats, even for large groups. Very attentive staff. Only 1 hour before closing time it becomes empty and there are no more reservations. Pay attention to kitchen time! I would like asparagus ice cream on the menu. Toilets at ground level and clean.

Top fresh asparagus. Attentive and professional service. The inflationary prices (I'm there every year and therefore see the development) are now almost causing me to gasp.

There were 6 people and we were expecting more from it. In our opinion, the price-performance ratio wasn't right. For an asparagus farm that ultimately sits at the source, we were served a very manageable portion. The drinks are also heavily "supplied". Our willingness to pay so much money for so little service is limited. We'll look elsewhere - the competition is fierce!

It was my first time here and I can say that the atmosphere here was good, but value for money needs to adjust a bit. I ordered pancakes with vegetables and my mother ordered schnitzel with fries. The meat was tasty but a small piece. Strawberry cake cost 9.50, I think the price is too expensive.

Unfortunately, it is no longer the number 1 address for eating asparagus. Thick and unfortunately somewhat “woody” asparagus, very confident prices, service not very attentive and “lost” for a long time. The ambience was never the big highlight at the Spargelacker, but it was accepted as practical given the positive experiences of the past.

Wow, this is huge with over 300 seats inside. The service and the kitchen are super good. A slightly slower operation is immediately noticeable. Otherwise the food is not cheap, but the quality and taste are good.

Highly priced. You have to be very careful when paying, as various food and drinks were booked onto our table that we had not ordered and consumed. Although everything was sorted out in a friendly manner, it took unnecessary time and was annoying.

If you would like to go out for a fine meal and also value the ambience, this is the wrong place... for me it was more of a mass process, the dishes were served in no time, regardless of whether it was a starter, main course or dessert... it seemed to me that as if everything had already been prepared, although the service staff was very committed, the asparagus was excellent, the schnitzel was more like the sole of a shoe and as if it had been baked in a deep fryer... the price/performance ratio isn't quite right in my opinion either... if you want to eat freshly picked asparagus, that's it here on the safe side

Outrageously high prices, but substandard service

I've been here several times now and I have to say that today it wasn't all that great. Poorly peeled asparagus with far too salty potato wedges, which didn't go well with the veal steak. In my opinion, two to three boiled potatoes would be more appropriate here. As always, the service was very nice and accommodating, but she also "took note" of the note about the asparagus and potatoes, but nothing more. That was better...

Always good with fast service and a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the price has generally been adjusted. It's still worth visiting once or twice a season.

The dessert is very expensive. The food tasted very good, although the pasta was lukewarm. A little hotter would have been great. Definitely recommended 🤗

I don't give full marks for the food because there was hollandaise from the package and the asparagus water in which the asparagus was cooked could have flavored the cuisine better. Due to the price range, I will take a closer look at all restaurants in the future. Otherwise I can eat better at home.

Today we had a family dinner at the Böser asparagus restaurant. It was our first visit there and certainly not the last. The food was great, very attractively prepared and the service was excellent. I didn't have high expectations of either the location (tent) or the food (I was thinking more of a fast food restaurant) and I was extremely pleasantly surprised. The overall impression of the restaurant, the food and drinks offered, the service and also the sanitary facilities...in a word: flawless!

I've never eaten asparagus so well outside of the house. The meat was very well fried and cooked to perfection. In addition, the portion of asparagus was large enough and not just three spears! The only way things are better is at home with mom.

I wasn't in the restaurant but in the farm shop. Asparagus is great, the only disadvantage is that peeling costs 1 euro 40 per kg... it's really tough. The ice cream from the farm shop is also delicious, nice and fresh

Service at reception and at the tables was quick and friendly - first class! The menu may not be the largest, but when it comes to asparagus and strawberries, you can find all the classics and what your heart desires. There is also a delicious and extensive selection of desserts! The food was delicious and the portions are generous. The tagliatelle could have been a little hotter during our visit, some of them were slightly lukewarm. The ambience in the glass annex is something special and is always worth a visit. It’s also worth visiting the farm shop afterwards! All in all, it's always worth a visit, something special even with guests from "non-asparagus areas".

THE asparagus restaurant of choice in the region. No matter what dish, the asparagus is exactly right. Plus point: online table reservation and plenty of parking spaces. Top service, motivated, friendly, attentive. Attention (!) the food comes extremely quickly, a 5-7 minute wait is the rule... another plus point for us :-) small minus: the character of the dining rooms is a bit sober. Conclusion: if asparagus then here.

The food came very quickly and everyone tried very hard according to the motto: “The customer is king”. The food was okay, but nothing special. The schnitzel is just an absolute failure. Totally dry and you chew on it for a while. What you should also be careful about is not to swallow the rubber band that is supposed to hold the asparagus together while cooking. I forgot to remove this from my plate. After I pointed this out to the staff, it seemed to me that this was the norm. However, I can't say a bad word about the service! Very accommodating and friendly!

The restaurant has improved a lot: the service is very friendly and attentive, the food came quickly and tasted very tasty. We were also impressed by the selection of wines. It's comfortable to sit in the winter garden and the inner part (newly furnished) now looks more comfortable.

We have been coming here for years and are a bit disappointed with the food - I would rate the visit 3.5 stars. First of all, we had great service and, as always, the transaction went very well and quickly. However, the food has deteriorated significantly and in my opinion it is too expensive, regardless of the high quality and tasty asparagus and the increased prices. The schnitzel was rather dry and, compared to previous years, was more reminiscent of mass-produced food. The price difference between “normal” pork schnitzel and “upscale” veal steak is less than €3 and the desserts are on average €9-12, which I find very steep. The dishes are now more standard and things like veal schnitzel, asparagus with king prawns or morel cream sauce from the past as well as e.g. Unfortunately, you won't find strawberries with pepper cream or really good homemade pork schnitzels, which were definitely available before when the owner ran the restaurant himself. Unfortunately, the ice pavilion was also closed for the first time. Overall it's still nice in comparison but still a bit sobering.

Perfect asparagus meal. The price is quite high. The two of us had asparagus with schnitzel and potatoes, a soup and a beer each. 80€. Not everyone can afford that anymore.

Excellent service, very attentive and friendly staff, strawberry secco really tasty, absolutely recommended. Very nice restaurant with a beer garden. Food and service excellent.

We, my wife, our child and myself, were there on April 11, 2024. Together with a friend Couple (also with small child). Our wish to be able to sit outside when the weather was nice so that we could keep an eye on the children while they played was not granted. The waitress said: “I’m not quite fit yet, so the beer garden is closed”. Well. After our children were playing in the playground, we were informed by the service staff that this was irresponsible without supervision (I remind you of my sentence and the contradictory instructions before). We were also treated unfriendly and harshly because we used a second door, which was, however, a completely normal entrance. All in all, it is not advisable to visit with children. The behavior of the staff is contradictory. The staff's stress hormones were inappropriate given the workload. We won't be coming back and strongly advise against it.

Today the three of us at the beginning of the new asparagus season 😊 Food was good, prices have of course increased, friendly service again, it was still relatively empty and therefore the noise level was pleasant. This wasn't our last visit! Went back on site after a 2-year break due to Corona. And: it was very tasty again! Staff very friendly and helpful, even though they are really busy. The quality of the food was absolutely good, despite a certain canteen feeling, because the permanent tent is simply very large and the noise level is therefore always relatively high.

Finally it's asparagus season again, and you can finally stop off at the asparagus restaurant again. We really like the new little recommendation card and the barbecue dumplings with asparagus were something different and so delicious. And then, as always, there are the asparagus classics, all of which are recommended. The young staff were very nice, polite and accommodating. We are already looking forward to the next asparagus meal.

Went to eat asparagus at Böser again today, nice portion of asparagus with potatoes and schnitzel, but unfortunately it was very dry, hollandaise sauce could have been a little more. Nevertheless the staff was very friendly!

We were there for the first time and were completely thrilled. The food was great, the ambience was surprisingly good for a seasonal asparagus restaurant, and the service was top notch. Really, an extra big compliment to the young people on the staff, you only get such accommodating, attentive and friendly service in upscale restaurants in Germany. At the same time, they even had time to catch a lost dog and take care of him, including calling the animal shelter and the police. Thankfully, as we were leaving, we happened to notice someone on the dirt path next door looking for a dog and were able to send the lady to the asparagus restaurant, where her stray was already waiting for her. An all-round successful trip! We will be back!

Good food, asparagus with a twist

We've been coming here to eat asparagus for years. This year for the first time on Easter Monday. The food was very good, but the price-performance ratio was no longer right. It was very overpriced this year. Starter, main course and dessert came one after the other in quick succession. I would have liked to have had a little breather. Maybe it was because the place was very busy. I am a bit disappointed.

The Spargel-Strawberry festival was a fantastic event. The asparagus, in particular, was absolutely delightful. Every dish incorporating asparagus had a pleasant and appetizing flavor. The food was served warm and was undeniably delicious. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, although there was a considerable wait to settle the bill. Despite that, the overall experience was enjoyable, with a wide array of tasty food options. We didn't provide a receipt when paying. The waitress then read it again and said the amount. The cash wasn't enough, which is why we switched to a card - the card reader actually shows a price that is €6 lower than the one mentioned above. We then asked for the bill, which she brought us with the words “oh yes, we have the right one now”. If I didn't know any better, I would say that someone wanted to put some "extra tip" in their pocket. As a restaurant in this price range, the waiters should be chosen with greater care. The rest of the service team was very accommodating and nice. The food was good. The ambience is very nice in the form of a high-quality pavilion. Otherwise I would have liked a little more distance from the neighboring table.

The two of us had lunch on Good Friday. Beef carpaccio and asparagus cream soup as a starter. For the main course we had asparagus in a dressing gown and barbecue Maultaschen with asparagus. Everything was extremely tasty. Our waiter was perhaps a little inexperienced at the beginning of the season. We would definitely like to come back.

After more than three years of abstinence, we were finally able to eat at the asparagus restaurant again this evening! The long closing time did not affect the quality of the food or the service! We had asparagus cream soup, asparagus with ham and pancakes, asparagus with lamb shank and for dessert the baked vanilla ice cream and rhubarb crumble. Visually and tastefully perfect. Service as always friendly, courteous and quick! It's nice that the asparagus restaurant is open again, we'll definitely be back!

Company Christmas party. The food was buffet, only the starter (very good potato soup) was served at the table. Choice was plentiful. The dessert buffet was also very well stocked with panna cotta, plum dumplings, etc.

Everything fine. The service is on point and everything is well thought out. We were there for lunch with a group of 50 people and everything worked smoothly and tasted delicious.

It was good but I mean expensive

restaurant in grote tent tijdens asperge seizoen op het terrein van de kweker. Voldoende keuze in voornamelijk asperge gerechten en aardbeien desserts. Kwaliteit/prijs in orde, ruime keuze uit zowel vlees, vis en vegetarisch. Helaas doordat alles in snel tempo wordt geserveerd ontbreekt het aan sfeer en gezelligheid.

Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker. Ich hatte Spargelpinsa und Erdbeeren mit Eierlikörbaisser. Das Spargelrestaurant öffnet im Advent wieder. Der Servicemitarbeiter war etwas unmotiviert. Schade.

Normalerweise esse ich Spargel von "Böser" zu Hause. Das neue Konzept inkl. Erscheinungsbild der Gastronomie haben wir getestet. Fazit, empfehlenswert.

Ein hervorragendes gastronomisches Erlebnis. Insbesondere der Service ist auch nach dem dritten Besuch in so positiver Erinnerung geblieben. Sehr aufmerksam, stets um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht, locker und - authentisch - unfassbar freundlich. Egal von welchen Mitarbeitenden wir bedient wurden. Lob an das Personalmanagement: halten Sie Ihre Kolleg:innen. Essen war gleichermaßen toll. Von Suppen über Salat und natürlich dem Besuchsgrund - Spargel - durch die Bank weg: hervorragend. Preislich völlig in Ordnung. Alles in allem: großes Lob!

Einmal in der Saison besuchenswert. Der Empfang sehr freundlich und das Essen war lecker. Reservierung ist am besten.

Preis - Leistung sollte man nochmals überdenken. Essen ist zwar gut, aber nicht mehr für die breite Masse, dafür ist es einfach zu teuer.

Mega Auswahl an Spargel- und Erdbeergerichten. Auch für die, die keinen Spargel mögen, gibt es Alternativen auf der Karte. Das Essen war sehr lecker, Preisleistungsverhältnis hat gestimmt, Parkplätze vor der Tür vorhanden. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr nettes Personal, das Essen und hauptsächlich der Spargel und die Erdbeeren super lecker. Preise nicht günstig aber für die Qualität angemessen. Das Ambiente ist sehr außergewöhnlich, da schönes Wetter war, wurde die Glasfassade hochgefahren sehr außergewöhnlich und imposant. Dadurch gab es eine sehr angenehme Durchlüftung. Sehr schönen Nachmittag dort verbracht.

Spargel war echt super, die Schnitzelpanade trocken und fest am Fleisch. Die Spargelsuppe Durchschnitt . Beim Salat waren ich ein bißchen enttäuscht, Blattsalat war verdatsch vermutlich bei der Masse schon fühzeitlich vorbereitet. Spargel classig in Pfannkuchen super lecker. Nachspeisen alle mit frischen Erdbeeren richtig gut. Erdbeeretiramisu sehr zu empfehlen.

Tolles Restaurant mit angebautem festem Zelt, ringsum zu öffnen, so dass man das Gefühl hat, im Garten zu sitzen. Sehr freundliches Servicepersonal, ausgesprochen gutes Essen frisch zubereitet. Spargel und Erdbeeren aus eigenem Anbau. Hat auch einen Hofladen und selbstgemachtes Eis.
