The food is great!! Star level, but no star prices. I really hope it stays that way. There are many restaurants in Cologne, but only a few or none that offer this.

We were in the hen today. The food was of a high standard, although perhaps a bit too creamy pastes and sauces. The highlights were the mackerel and the char. For me, the carrot was the star of the dessert. The wines were exciting, if a bit strong on the "white" side. But the evening was characterized by host qualities. All team members showed passion and commitment. We felt very comfortable and only left the restaurant with reluctance. Thank you for a lovely evening.

On Saturday, I ate at this restaurant for my birthday. The food was delicious, but unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy the time I spent there. We had a reservation for 2 hours and 15 minutes and ordered the 4-course menu. However, during the first course, the waitress came to clear our plates before we'd even finished, as the next course was already ready. I asked her to serve the courses more slowly so we could enjoy the food, but she explained that the reservation was time-limited—even though only 20 minutes had passed since we arrived. The same thing happened with the subsequent courses, so we felt like we were rushed to eat...

A visit is worth it. The price is more than justified.

Beautiful wine bar in Cologne. Menu has beautiful dishes and tastes delicious, although the portions are very small. Has a good wine list, nice interior, personally I think the staff seems a bit snooty.

Food, wine and ambience excellent. I personally found the service a bit cool. In the best case scenario, he could put in just as much effort as the kitchen team. You can taste their love for detail and passion on your plate!

I went solo but the reservation is needed. Food and wine pairing is exceptional. The portion is a little too small but its how fine dine portion in general so no complaint.

We failed miserably when we tried to make a reservation in person; the receptionist was extremely unfriendly, energetic and loud. She clearly showed us that we should leave the restaurant as quickly as possible to make a reservation online. My expectation from a restaurant like this is a serious, sophisticated treatment of the guests.

I made a reservation two or three weeks ago for weekend dinner. They led them to the table at the entrance of the kitchen and toilet and as soon as we arrived they warned that we could only stay only for two hours. I know the weekend is busy, but I don't know how early I have to make a reservation to sit at a good table. And I don't recommend you to visit on a special day. We ordered quite a lot of food and wine there, paying nearly 300 euros or more (for 2 people). I felt quite pressured to finish my meal within the limited time. Plus, being able to see everyone going in and out of the kitchen and restroom made it even worse. Don't take in more customers than you can handle!

Been here for the second time and everything was great again :) very tasty creative food, great wine selection and very nice service :) plus fair prices for the offered prices.

Schnitzel was top tier... but cpmpared to the Knödel and Cabbage overrated. Go for the awesome veggie dishes. They make you regnet the Schnitzel, which is one of the best I ever had...

We were happy with everything. The only thing we have to criticize is that it was very loud and that we weren't told that it was more like tapas and that you should order at least two dishes. If you've never been there, the map is very confusing. The red wine was also quite cold. I was then offered another, which was okay, but I find it strange to get a red wine in a wine bar that was as cold as a white one. But the food and service were very good

Highly recommended! Great wine selection and the food tastes very good too. I would describe the food as fusion cuisine, you eat 2-3 dishes at once or one after the other. The service is very attentive and the atmosphere is stylish.

It was average. The scallop was truly world class. The service average. Britta or Birgit, I think she didn't know in her stress, the lady at the door was very unfriendly to arriving guests who hadn't made reservations. She loudly sent them away again. Very disadvantageous for a restaurant of this class or what it wants to be? Her normal nature probably didn't appeal to everyone or even paying or appreciative guests. It's probably not the perfect handle or everyone's cup of tea for welcoming guests to a restaurant of this class? Or? Champagne for €14.50 is top notch. Unfortunately there is no restaurant where I would spend this amount of euros again.

Very cozy, very crowded, very tasty. Rare place in Cologne where you want to return (I've been several times).

I dined here alone and had a wonderful experience. Be aware that a reservation is required, and you’ll need to provide a bank account with a €50 hold as a security deposit (only charged if you don’t show up). The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was excellent—very accommodating and welcoming. I loved everything I tried, and it’s incredible how high-quality the food is for such an affordable price. If you’re around Cologne, this place is definitely a must-try!

We always thought that it was only at McDonald's that the store was designed to get the guests out quickly. But not only does it feel like you're in a breeding ground, but you don't get a bottle of wine in this wine bar, just glasses...?!? Likewise, what you as a customer want is ignored... You don't want a high table - whatever, sit at it and be grateful, even if there are other tables available... With the note that these tables are for customers who reserve (even if there is no sign of them)…

Der Tisch war unschön, wir schauten direkt in die sehr helle und wuselige Küche mit sehr lautem Klingeln und an unserer Seite wurden die Essensreste weggeräumt; für eine Weinbar war der Flaschenwein gerade bei dem Preis sehr schlecht und das Essen war selbst für Tapasportionen sehr, sehr sparsam portioniert.

Rosé-Sekt und Sauvignon Blanc sind hervorragend, die Speisen sind außergewöhnlich und sehr geschmackvoll zubereitet, sehr fein gewürzt und appetitlich angerichtet, die Pralinen sind etwas ganz Besonderes.

Zum wiederholten Male hier gegessen und es war wie immer alles perfekt. Immer wieder gerne.

The food was very tasty, even if the prices were of course impressive (but that was clear in advance, so no complaining about it). The shop is nicely decorated and very cozy. Perfect for both dates and business purposes in my opinion. However, what I didn't like about a 300 euro bill for three people was how criticism was handled. Finally, we wanted a sweet ending (in the form of champagne or something similar). The cellar asked us a few questions and brought us three drinks. The sparkling wine was really undrinkable and “musty”. That's exactly what we didn't want. We took a small sip and told the waiter that unfortunately it didn't suit our taste. He just shrugged his shoulders and said that tastes are different. Oh really?! Of course we had to pay for the not cheap liquid (I mean 12 per champagne glass). I would have liked a different reaction to the bill and the standard that was advertised to be quite high, especially since we weren't allowed to try it beforehand. That's why it was our last visit, because given the prices I expect differently trained staff.

The PERFECT Restaurant ❤️ The Service is friendly / professional and helpful (so rare in Germany!) The food is delicious / tasty and fast! The restaurant is well situated and got a charming ambiance, with open kitchen on one side and a quite street view on the other (also a beautiful outdoor option in the center of the restaurant giving a nice day light for lunches!). Schön gestyltes Restaurant mit tollem Konzept, interessanter Weinkarte, äußerst freundlichem, gut geschulten Personal und kreativer Küche mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. It was our second visit to the HENNE.Weinbar. The first time we were completely thrilled, great food, good wines, competent, friendly and courteous service and a beautiful ambience. So gladly again. This time the experience was slightly marred. Admittedly, the restaurant was full but not overcrowded, despite making a reservation >1 week in advance, we got what felt like the worst table in the store, right at the front door. Our question about another table where you don't sit in the train, at the passage and on the presentation plate was initially answered unfriendly and snippy, but then complied with. When we ordered the drinks, the recommendations were rattled off and when we asked again, we were annoyed and repeated “as I just said”. You had the feeling of not being very welcome. That might fit in a brewery but not in a wine bar, it was extremely borderline and very unpleasant. Luckily, the waitress then switched to a colleague (I think she noticed that we were irritated) and he was again super accommodating and friendly... which saved our evening after all. The food (we had the 4-course surprise menu) was creative, tasted great, lovingly prepared and very plentiful for the price, we almost couldn't finish it. So a great price-performance ratio. The wine recommendations and also the non-alcoholic alternative were great and show professional expertise (it's also a wine bar :-)) So apart from the one unpleasant service, everything was the same as the first time and if she remembers her friendliness again, you can continue to recommend the restaurant.

Heute zum ersten Mal die Krabben mit Kartoffel Creme gegessen, großartig! Immer wieder einen Besuch wert, freue mich schon auf das nächste mal.

Bei meinem Besuch habe ich mit meinen Begleitungen das Menü gewählt, welches einen Querschnitt aus der gesamten Karte darstellte. Die Wahl war sehr gut und kann nur empfohlen werden. Ich werde bestimmt Henne Weinbar erneut besuchen.

An oasis of enjoyment in the middle of the city. We ordered different dishes, each tastier than the other. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service was perfect! And of course a huge selection of wines. Will definitely come back!

A very hip and urban wine bar with excellent food and wine. The food really tasted very good and was very cheap, at least for lunch (Vienna schnitzel (but only about 3mm thick despite the beautiful wavy breading) and bouillabaisse for €30 in normal portions). The service was nice and attentive, but combined with the factory/loft atmosphere, it was too student-like for me. Overall very good, but for me personally there was nothing that stood out that would force me to visit again (apart from the quick lunch). So I can't understand the listing in the Michelin Guide.

Wir hatten das Glück, einen Tisch hinten zu erhalten, dadurch lautstärkemäßig angemessen. Essen lekker und Preis-Leistungs-mäßig sehr angemessen, der unvemeidliche Alk hat sich dann aber auf der Rechnung doch erheblich bemerkbar gemacht. Service war gut, schnell und unaufdringlich und zugewandt.

Nachdem wir "Henne" bereits mehrfach bei der Küchenparty im Rahmen von "Fine Food Dining" genießen konnten und immer begeistert waren, wollten wir nun verschiedene Speisen im Rahmen eines Lokalbesuchs ausprobieren. Neben dem sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichen Service waren auch die Speisen (jeweils 4 verschiedene Gerichte) sehr schmackhaft. Dass vereinzelt die Geschmacksvarianten der Gerichte "ungewöhnlich" waren, trübte den sehr guten Eindruck kaum. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Un eatupendo lugar para cenar en Colonia. Servicio impecable y amable. Recomiendo el Tartar de Beef y la coliflor en tempurs. Deicioso.

Es war wie immer ein kulinarisches Erlebnis. Besonders gut waren die Kartoffelnudeln im „Ufos Style“. Auch die ausgewählten Weine waren wie immer ein Gedicht und haben sich harmonisch mit den Speisen vereint. Ein Dank an das gesamte Team, ihr macht einen super Job.
