Very interesting and delicious menu that takes you on a journey through a variety of tastes. The service is excellent, the prices are correspondingly high (you have to factor in 50€/person for dinner with drinks)

Beware! Restaurant was great until our group had explosive vomiting two hours after our meal. The food was prepared beautifully, and the ambiance is lovely, but something about the ingredients in some of the dishes is very wrong. We went as a group of 5 and each of us feel absolutely terrible. We ordered everything on the menu as a celebration, and it was a definite mistake. The food was good but wasn’t worth the hell we’re currently experiencing. Hopefully it doesn’t become a week long food poisoning episode…

Found a Michelin restaurant in Cologne that serves good wines and intl cuisine. I’m excited to have what’s on the chef’s menu and was not disappointed! Food was served as tapas which are great for sharing which my partner and I totally enjoyed. On top of that, the wine was just as great to savour with food! Cheers 🍷

It is a lovely restaurant with modern fusion tapas and amazing wine. Great for business and personal meetings. The only drawback is the heat in the summertime. The inside area gets super hot and there is no great air conditioning which means you are going to melt.

Very very tasty. You should treat yourself to the lunch menu if you are nearby and want to reward yourself. There were also cooking courses and events that were very nice and well organized.

Another “spontaneous visit” (1/2 hour later reservation would have been better)... It was our 3rd visit. In this respect, I “speak” for the “overall experience” in this recession: very nice ambience, professional and very friendly service (especially on Friday last week: fellow Italian!!!!) and extremely tasty, well-seasoned and presented food. The concept of “smaller portions” is exactly “our thing”. Top-class cuisine, taste experiences, that's how it should be. Gladly again and again...👍👍👍

Perfect lunch experience! Consistently delicious and perfectly crafted dishes in the lunch menu you put together yourself. Only the veal carpaccio as a starter was a little weak in taste. In any case, the price-performance ratio is still appropriate for the high quality offered. Gladly again!

Nice wine bar with very good cuisine and delicious wines. The staff is very attentive and nice. Top service. When the weather is nice, the inner courtyard invites you to linger. The prices are reasonable. Absolute recommendation.

Mäßig gelaunte Servicekraft am Empfang, die unsere freundliche Frage nach einem Tisch im Außenbereich mit einem abschätzigen Lachen quittiert hat. Wir waren kurz davor, wieder zu gehen. Der Mitarbeiter, der uns am Tisch zugeteilt war, war zum Glück sehr zuvorkommend und professionell.

The restaurant with a wow effect! I've been to the HENNE a lot now. Wine bar and I'm always thrilled. Yesterday there were snails on the menu and I was a bit skeptical at first. They were then removed from the casing and lightly fried and combined with chorizo, fried lettuce hearts and potato foam - fantastic! That's what happened to me, for example, with pork belly - my first reflex: is that necessary? Then it was the tastiest thing I think I've ever eaten there. The pork belly was first braised in a broth for hours, so that the meat was extremely tender and very tasty, then the layer of fat was fried very hot and very crispy, so that the fat underneath was rather liquid. Great! Keep it up! Definitely the best value for money in Kölle! I look forward to the next meal with you, dear Hendrik!

Kreative Küche, auch zum Teilen, in spannenden Kombinationen, und dazu eine interessante Weinauswahl. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Menü, das die übersichtliche jeweils aktuelle Karte in vier Gängen à drei kleinen Gerichten fast komplett abbildet und so einen tollen Überblick über die Küchenleistung bietet. Netter, kompetenter, lockerer Service. Im kleinen, geschützten Innenhof sitzt es sich auch bei Wärme angenehm, der Innenraum ist schön eingerichtet, aber etwas dunkel und recht laut. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Mit der Abfolge der Gänge hätte man sich etwas mehr Zeit lassen dürfen. Insgesamt eine absolute Empfehlung für eine kleine Auszeit in Köln, für die sich auch eine etwas weitere Anfahrt lohnt. Wenn man auch die Weine genießen will, am besten mit dem ÖPNV...

Freitag 20:30 Uhr, 2 Personen Es ist immer wieder eine Freude das Essen und auch einen guten Wein in "Henne Weinbar" zu genießen. Wir sind relativ oft dort und mich fasziniert immer wieder das die Karte immer wieder wechselt. Ein sehr großes Kompliment! Auch die Weimempfehlung ist immer wieder herausragend. Wirklich ein toller Start ins Wochenende! Vielen Dank dafür.

Vom Essen bis zum Service war alles sehr gut. Da an dem Tag Spanien-Deutschland bei der EM gespielt haben, war es relativ leer und sehr ruhig - wahrscheinlich ist es an "normalen" Tagen voller und nicht so ruhig. Kommen gerne wieder. Ich möchte gerne insbeondere unsere Servicekraft positiv hervorheben. Sie war sehr aufmerksam und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Simply TOP! Take the surprise menu, you won't be disappointed!

Only drank wine with bread. Great, rare wine from the Azores (I even visited this winery). Bread sensational (only beaten from the bread in the taku), wonderful French butter on the side. You don't need anything more. Unfortunately, the rooms are a bit reverberant, which limits intelligibility. Great service.

Great place. As always. This time for a business lunch. Awesome service and food. The only downside this time was the music selection and the volume. I thought this wasn’t up to the usual standards.

Netter Empfang. Sehr guter, freundlicher Service. Essen ausgezeichnet. Tolle offene Weine. Am Montag gut besucht, ich empfand es sehr laut.

Bei unserem phantastischen ersten Besuch, stimmten Essensqualität, Weine und sehr freundlicher Service einfach. Deshalb hatten wir eine unserer Töchter überredet uns beim nächsten Mal zu begleiten. Da sie Wein gerade für sich neu entdeckt hat, baten wir den Kellner um seine Empfehlung für einen halbtrocken Wein, der nach seiner Aussage aber nicht geführt wird. Meine Frage nach einer Alternative, wie z.B. einem Aperol Spritz wurde mit: "Soetwas haben wir aber schonmal garnicht" beantwortet. Die Überheblichkeit des Kellners setzte sich im Verlauf des Abends weiter fort und trübte unseren Besuch dahingehend ein, dass uns letztlich große Teile des Essens nur durchschnittlich erschienen. Schade, dass unser sehr positiver Eindruck vom ersten Mal, beim zweiten Besuch so in Frage gestellt wurde...

Super freundlicher Service und das Essen ist nicht nur lecker, sondern auch kreativ und sehr hohe Qualität!!!! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

Really a nice, no-frills shop with great service and a great kitchen! Here you can just as easily enjoy 3 starters or 3 main courses, it doesn't matter! Everything is good and everything is right! The wines also fit naturally and don't need any special mention! We will definitely come back very often......!!!

Yes, Yes, and Yes!!!! HENNE. Weinbar got added to my list given its Bib Gourmand status. My only regret dining here was I wasn’t able to try everything!! I can’t speak highly enough of the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Everything I tried was amazing in its own way. My server team helped me select two perfect wines, and despite dining solo, I felt that the team gave me the same level of service as those dining in a larger group. Absolutely add it to your list if in Koln!

Man ist jedes Mal gespannt, welche kreativen Kombinationen die Küche auf Lager hat. Produktqualität war, wie immer, hervorragend. "Sonderwünsche" (Allergie) musste ich gar nicht erst äußern, sie wurden vom Service erfragt und höchst zuvorkommend erfüllt.

Really good wine, food and place.

As the name suggests, it is a “wine bar”. The food offers a beautiful setting and has a special touch. If you want, you can watch the chefs in the open kitchen. Certainly not a location for every week, but just right for special occasions and wine lovers. There is little choice of drinks outside of the wine list, but otherwise it wouldn't be called "Weinbar Henne".

Das Konzept ist toll, kleine, äußert delikate und kreative Gerichte. Man kann sich alles teilen und sein eigenes „Menu“ zusammenstellen. Die Qualtiät ist außergewöhnlich und dabei bleibt das Ambiente locker und ungezwungen. Der Service ist sehr gut informiert , super freundlich, ohne übereifrig zu wirken. Toller Laden

We had reserved a table in advance because asparagus was explicitly advertised on the “lunch menu” on the website. Unfortunately, when we got there it was hardly child-friendly and there was no asparagus as the main dish on the lunch menu. Very strange! Despite the heat, we were offered a table inside despite having a reservation, even though there were many free tables on the terrace. “Oh, they have a stroller, so they sit there in the corner.” When I asked if they could put together a small children’s plate or give them something to eat, they only offered fries. In general, the ladies who served today were anything but child-friendly. It's a shame because the food is otherwise really very good.

Wow! The evening was simply fantastic. Fast, competent & incredibly nice service. Clean, beautifully fragrant and homely atmosphere. The food was complex, deep & beautiful & perfectly cooked. There's nothing to say there. We liked the piglet and the short ribs best.

I was just there last night with my best friend. What can I say? It was a fantastic evening. I don't drink alcohol, but thanks to my friend I can say that the selection of wines is extremely wide and you can get really great wines here. The ambience is great, slightly dim, stylish furniture, everything is really nice. The food was really good. In tapas style with smaller portions you are willing to try up and down the menu. We didn't see anything on the menu that we didn't want to try. It was really unique. Lamb, pork, vegetarian, there was a little bit of everything and it was a pure culinary delight. The dessert was second to none. Sweet arrancinis with rice pudding and red berries......a delight par excellence. The whole “experience” was rounded off by such an attentive waiter that you actually wished the whole time that the evening wouldn’t be over. Always there, not intrusive, he simply knew everything and always made the perfect choice of wines. Wit, charm...the man was great! We'd love to come back. It's not cheap, but if you prefer to go to a pizzeria, you won't "get lost" here either ;-) Dear Henne team, top in all respects.

Tolle, kreative Küche und tolles Konzept zum gemeinsamen genießen. Zu zweit hatten wir 7 Gerichte inkl. Vorspeise und Dessert, und haben uns diese geteilt, das war großartig. Tollen Wein inkl. Austausch mit dem Sommeliér gab es dazu, Service sehr aufmerksam. Tolles Erlebnis und beim nächsten Besuch in Köln definitiv wieder!

Ich fand es insgesamt sehr stimmig!!! Die Gazpacho war nicht ganz so gelungen. Aversive Lammkeule war sehr schmackhaft.

We were walking around this area when we stumbled upon this place. I suggested to my partner that we give it a try since he loves wine. Fortunately, they had a table available for us. We ordered various types of wine and my partner ordered small portions of food to accompany his drink. From what he told me and the reaction on his face, everything was amazing. The staff were lovely and incredibly kind. We'll see you guys soon!
