Adir… What service! The food is incredibly delicious, and the service is outstanding – exceptionally attentive! I was incredibly well looked after by Adir and am absolutely delighted with my visit. Best bowl I've ever had. Great sauces that gave the meal a whole new flavor. We had the house bread with dips (I almost licked the sesame dip), two Kumo bowls (amazing), and the cheesecake (also delicious). Including drinks, the total was €63. Highly recommended.

The food was once again delicious. The atmosphere in the store was very pleasant. We were there with two small children, who were allowed to play with their cars on the floor, and the employee happily jumped around them ;)

Food is overpriced, service is terrible. I was playing a game with my friends and had time to guess the flags of all countries in the world before the food arrived. I had some fun, but not thanks to the restaurant. They wouldn't do anything without us having to ask for it, they didn't bring a menu, didn't take our order without us having to go downstairs to ask, didn't bring cutlery with the food, didn't say a word about the food taking 1h+ in a day that was not even busy. There it is just normal business.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The price is relatively high, but justified in my opinion, as the bowl portion is quite large. You'll definitely be full here. I had a "Healthy Bowl" for 17.90. A drink was free because of the lunch deal. Hidden under all the greens is a portion of sushi rice with sesame sauce. The servers are friendly, and the restroom blew me away visually (I thought I was in a nightclub). I'll definitely be back.

I had lunch there a few years ago and was thrilled. Today, despite my great anticipation, I was massively disappointed: My bowl was missing two stated toppings, which I unfortunately noticed too late. Too much rice, few vegetables, overcooked broccoli. My 8-year-old son was given four frozen prawns for the hefty price of almost €10. Unfortunately, they came with chili sauce (it wasn't on the menu, but was advertised as tapas), making them too spicy for a child. We asked for the second portion without sauce. After waiting 20 minutes despite the restaurant being empty, four tiny prawns arrived not without sauce as ordered, but with chili mayonnaise (which was quite spicy) as a topping on each one. We returned our order and had to wait another 20 minutes for four simple fried prawns. As I said, the restaurant was almost empty. After a long wait and feeling hungry, we went elsewhere for food. The prices were by no means justified for our dishes. Today's conclusion: unnecessarily expensive and pseudo-fancy. I don't think we'll come back again. What a shame.

After all, drinks are how you make your money. Anyway, it was only two drinks in the end. But the food is always really delicious!

I didn't eat, but came here for a drink as I was staying nearby. The local beer is reasonably priced and the service is friendly. Only issue was that there seemed to be a lot of wasps and for some reason they had a plate of syrup at the end of the bar to attract them. I didn't get stung and perhaps that is why, but unusual...

Bad service, food tasted cold and rotten

We stopped at Good Food before the cinema. Service was friendly, and ordering was quick. The wait—almost 30 minutes for two simple bowls—wasn't. Paying €60 for two bowls, bread, and drinks would be okay if the food was impressive. Unfortunately, it wasn't! Salad, thick rice, some vegetables, and dry chicken. The taste was okay, but boring and definitely not what you'd expect for the price. You can get more exciting bowls in Cologne for half the price. Unfortunately, we won't be going back.

Best and tastiest place at Mediapark :)

There's no waiter or self-service. I've been there twice and waited more than 30 minutes, but haven't been able to order anything.

Sorry, but charging €23.90 for a "large" (exactly equivalent to the former small Bow) Dragon Bowl (currently with significantly fewer side dishes) consisting of 3 (!) mini prawns and over 80% cheap leaf salad and pseudo-side dishes is a real disgrace. I agree with the other negative reviews regarding the significantly reduced bowl quality.

A good selection of healthy dishes, and reasonably priced. The server was courteous and polite. Two of us spontaneously stopped by for dinner. We would have preferred a bit more to the hummus than just a slice of avocado and some lettuce. Otherwise, the food was delicious.

Unfortunately, I can only recommend this place to a limited extent: The seating/benches are quite narrow. The service could be improved; the wait time was 35 minutes for two drinks and two dishes. We had to ask several times. The place is busy, and the waiters stand at the counter and chat quietly, so it's not a good overall package, in my opinion.

I stumbled upon this place by chance. And even though it's not exactly my usual place, I'm absolutely thrilled. Super friendly, super nice, absolutely delicious, the best iced tea I've had anywhere (other than at home) in years. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely go back.

Located just outside the city center, this culinary highlight revealed itself with exceptionally friendly and competent service and dishes that delighted our palates across the board. As soon as we're back in Cologne, we'll definitely plan another visit.

We've been enjoying going here for several years now, as we're next door to the gym, and you feel like you've eaten something reasonably nutritious afterward. Unfortunately, I can only confirm what many others have written here: after the menu was changed a while ago, the price-performance ratio is no longer right. The prices for the bowls are around €20, and the drink prices are also quite steep. While the sizes have apparently been adjusted somewhat, and they're not quite as small as before, it feels like this has mainly been compensated for with more rice. We recently paid over €50 for two drinks (spritzers) and two bowls! Unfortunately, we will be looking for alternatives. Otherwise, it's actually a nice place, with a very nice atmosphere, and the outdoor seating is especially nice in the summer. I can't understand the negative reviews regarding the service and staff.

Disappointing and overpriced! I used to enjoy Good Food, but unfortunately, I can no longer recommend the restaurant. The bowls are now only available in a "large" size – which, however, looks exactly like the previous small portion. For this price (and it's really steep!), you expect a lot more. The portions are small, the value for money is completely out of whack, and it seems like they're simply trying to charge more for less. It's a shame, it used to be a real insider tip. Now, unfortunately, it's just a rip-off. I won't be back.

Unfortunately, my experience at Good Food Cologne wasn't particularly positive. The food didn't meet my expectations and was disappointing in terms of taste. I also found the prices very high relative to the quality. I would therefore recommend considering other restaurants in the area.

It's not what it used to be! You wait forever for your order and then get dirty bowls. And not just one; 3 out of 6 looked like that. It takes away your appetite.

Well, unfortunately, I find it difficult to write anything positive. The service is abysmal. Most of the staff just stand around. It took forever for the drinks to arrive. We didn't get any wine glasses, and there weren't even any plates because it was too busy and everything was used up. In my opinion, the place wasn't even half full. The food came out cold and very greasy. The tacos were more like flatbreads, and so on.

The ambiance is quite nice in the summer. The food is, in my opinion, completely overpriced; they used to have small and large bowls. The menu has changed, and they only serve large portions now. The bowls all have the same base and are really too expensive for the ingredients. It's okay to eat once, but not for regular lunchtime dining. The service was surprisingly poor, meaning slow and inattentive. They opened at 12, and at that time, only three tables were occupied. I would expect, if someone from the service staff was already outside, to at least be greeted and told, "I'll be right with you." Instead, you look at the floor and, as a guest, think, "Have you seen me?" There's no such thing as "quickly grabbing something to eat during your lunch break." You need time there.

Exotic and delicious food and the ambience was OK (I don't really care about that). The service was in need of improvement (inattentive, even though the restaurant was hardly busy, the waitress rarely came by).

I haven't been there for a while now. The bowls were still very tasty and fresh. What really pissed me off is the following. Bowls used to come in small and large sizes. Now there is only one size. Wouldn't be a bad thing, but this feels like the small size from before but is just as expensive or even more expensive than the previous large one. I didn't think it was in the "everything is getting more expensive" frame anymore.

The atmosphere is cool, very nice and cozy, but the waiters approached us for an eternity, we looked at them with our eyes to finally wait 😅 maybe it seemed so to us, because we were very hungry, but when more friends came to us, they were approached for the same time, although there were very few people in the establishment - Monday. To the taste: the cheesecake is very very tasty!!! But there is a question about the other dishes, the halloumi was very, very fatty, there is a lot of oil, which interrupts all the taste of cheese and sauce. The girls also ordered a bowl, they didn't like it very much either, the rice wasn't very good, there was also a lot of oil, an unpleasant aftertaste. Although everything looks very nice. Regarding alcohol - not everyone liked it too much, I ordered a limoncello shot - it tastes like very carbonated water with lime. The girls ordered an Aperol shot and beer, but there were no comments about the beer)) In general, the atmosphere overshadows the taste, and the dessert was really delicious, so I give it 2 stars

Let's make it short: If you want to get full here, you won't. But if you want to reduce your bank account significantly, you're in good hands. An Orangina bottle with 250 ml for 4.20 (!!!!) amazed me at first. Smartly done, because the menu shows the quantities of almost all drinks, except for Cola and Orangina. They are listed under the same price. Only the cola is a good 100 ml more. Even for Cologne it's very hard. Accepting this disappointment, I was at least looking forward to my bowl. I ordered a chicken sesame bowl. I got a sesame bowl, I don't even want to call it chicken. 3 small pieces of fried chicken. I should have taken a photo. My friends and I had to laugh for a good minute. But seriously now. I pay extra for a CHICKEN Sesame Bowl. That was approximately 50 g of chicken. I really felt like I was being fooled. That was just nothing. There was also rice in the bowl. That was about 80 grams. The rest of the salad, a few beans, some carrots and coriander. 50 g chicken, 80 g rice, 100 g salad for just 17.90. I'll leave it like that. It was just a bad dish and you just feel like you've been taken for a ride. The toilets were funny, a friend thought you had to milk the taps to get water. What a crap! Of course, as is usual, there is a pedal on the floor. Honestly, people. Just don't. 22.10 total for salad with 3 leftover chicken and a small orangina. Does not have to

Visiting the Good Good restaurant was nothing short of shocking. The waitress - a fat blonde with long hair - was extremely rude, condescending and completely out of place in the restaurant industry. Instead of attending to customers, she stood at the bar, having a drink and chatting with the bartender while we obviously waited. When I finally called her, she came with a look of annoyance and told us not to “scream.” Then she actually asked if we wanted to leave the restaurant. Such behavior is not just disrespectful – it is an outrage. I felt really uncomfortable and honestly wondered if my food or drink was even safe. In a restaurant you shouldn't have the feeling that you could be spit on. A look at the Google reviews shows: We are not the only ones. Many people complain about this unfriendly and arrogant service. It's unbelievable that someone like that even works there. Never again!

The waiting time for the first order at a reserved table exceeded 30 minutes. Sure, there were a lot of other guests, but take one order per table and disappear again, then serve the next table and so on - after we placed our order, the drinks (iced tea) arrived after another 20 minutes, the meal took a total of 40 minutes for the bowls made from mostly fresh ingredients - very slow for a shop that specializes in bowls, with the exception of two grilled extras. Overall, a delicious, well-balanced meal, but there was far too little in the huge bowls. Clearing up also took some time and dessert was delayed to around 25 minutes. Upon request, small and large portions were recently combined into a medium version - at the same price as the larger bowls. At least honest. In fact, we left quite hungry. The ambience was really nice, the service was friendly but probably overwhelmed. It wasn't too loud or quiet, the toilets (all genders) were clean.

Really nice atmosphere, the service is amazing and the toilet is the nicest one I have ever seen so far. But what does it matter if the food is not good enough? Apart from being very pricey, the food portion size is very small. Before I remember we could choose between small or big but they changed the menu and the option there is like super expensive for the amount and quality of the food. The drinks are also not the best as it feels like from pre-made stuff instead of being fresh. The quality itself is not a big deal but the cost benefit will make me never go there again, because options like this we have hundreds like in Cologne.

GoodFood used to be a great place to eat, but a lot has changed since the menu was changed. The bowls are bigger, but the amount of food is much smaller. It feels like they're trying to make you think you're getting more for your money, which isn't true. The prices have gone up, the portions have gone down and the recipes have also changed, with fewer good ingredients. It's probably because of inflation, but the concept just doesn't work anymore. The only reason to still eat there is to enjoy the sun in MediaPark

Nice place, also good for sitting outside. Although there are certainly nicer places like the Mediapark. The appetizer plate is really delicious, and I'd almost say they have the best fries in Cologne. The place itself is very over-the-top, not my taste. I find the restrooms 🚽 very funny; they could be a bit cleaner. The service is nice.

The non-alcoholic cocktails were delicious and the service was very attentive and friendly! Unfortunately, the portions of the bowls seemed very small to both of us for almost €17. Tasty but nothing special. But the karaage was very tasty!

The price/performance ratio is inadequate. The quality of the food and the preparation was inadequate. The halloumi was so OVER-fried that all you could taste was the breading and the frying fat. The salad was drowned in dressing. Overall, the impression was that the guests were trying to get as much money out of their pockets as possible using inferior means. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, even though it was very busy.

On March 5th, 2025 the three of us were guests. The food is still really good and very appetizing. I personally had the Kumo Bowl with roasted cauliflower in tempura batter, with homemade peanut dip, with marinated edamame, potato strips tossed in orange sauce, with cottage cheese, blossom honey, cashews and cranberries. (In the photo I had already eaten most of it... just hungry.) Then our companion had the two teriyaki sesame soft tacos with pieces of chicken fillet in teriyaki and sesame sauce, wild herb salad, coriander and lime. There were also French fries with a slightly spicy mayo. Unfortunately, some ingredients were not available today or were missing, which in my opinion can happen with one product, but shouldn't happen with several. So we were forced to change our minds a few times... a shame. For example, there was no ginger, which belongs in a ginger-mint tea. The service staff seemed to be new, which was evident in the attentiveness and continued through to the billing. The ambience is nice and appealingly simple, but the "flowery" counter attracts attention. We sat on the outside terrace in the beautiful sunshine and spent a nice afternoon. Despite constructive comments, I will always come back here. :-)

The service was nice and attentive. But: Why are there broken decorations on the table??? The menu was small, which is good in principle, but the high prices immediately stood out. Order drinks: Mint lime iced tea Basil lemon iced tea Both were just sweet and nothing special. But way too expensive for 4.9. Order food: Baked halloumi 9.90 Crispy Fries 7.90 Both portions were an absolute disgrace for the price, especially the halloumi was dripping with fat. The fries were crispy, but you can never charge that much money for the quantity. The toilets are an imposition, confusing and not clean. Since the toilets are unisex, there were no urinals and many toilets were full of piss. The stairs down to the toilet were very greasy. Absolute risk of slipping. A catastrophe. The fact that the kitchen is down there doesn't excuse the stairs becoming a danger due to a film of grease. All in all, I will never eat there again and would strongly advise everyone around me not to.

We were both a little disappointed. The chicken bowl for €17.90 was very manageable and my halloumi bowl, also €17.90, was not very seasoned. Overall, no revelation. What was particularly noticeable was the fast-paced atmosphere. Cold air was blowing from all directions, some of the guests were sitting at the table in jackets and we were happy to be able to leave quickly after eating. Not a pleasant thing in February. All in all, it's only partially worth another visit.

The restaurant was chosen because of its good reviews. The location is visually quite nice. Most of the guests sat in the restaurant wearing jackets because it was so cold and drafty. The service was just bad. Tables weren't cleared, makeup was applied at the counter, no one came to reorder drinks and we were only noticed when we were ready to leave with our jackets and bags. There was no shortage of staff, but perhaps there was a lack of motivation. The menu is nicely laid out with a sufficient selection. We ordered four bowls, each priced between €17-18, and the size was more of a nice starter, but was actually intended as a main course. Too expensive in terms of price and quality. The rice was lumpy and overcooked, the three small pieces of chicken were fried and not fried as the menu says, and sauce certainly wouldn't have hurt the whole thing. It was beautifully presented, but there was nothing else wrong with these bowls. We didn't feel comfortable here at all and continued the evening in another restaurant.

Unfortunately, Good Food has declined significantly in the last 1.5 years. I still think the bowls are delicious, but the price/performance ratio is no longer right. One of the few restaurants where I can immediately feel that savings are being made. Too bad.

Unfortunately the service was very slow. Despite there being little activity in the restaurant, our table wasn't covered until we paid, even though we sat there chatting for a while longer. My bowl was rather average and seemed carelessly prepared - the taste was okay, but there are definitely better options in Cologne. The attractive design of the restaurant and the generally beautiful location in the Media Park should be positively highlighted.

Yes, it's very tasty. But what's the point if you go out hungry? The portion sizes are a joke. The funny drink for 8 EUR was so poorly mixed that the first sip was with syrup and the rest was passion fruit juice. Petsonal was nice. Conclusion: the price-performance ratio was underground. 70 EUR for two people who left hungry. The table next door saw it too.

Unfortunately, our visit to Good Food in Mediapark was disappointing. Even though there was a comfortable corner available, we were sent upstairs. After sitting down at a long table, we were asked to move to an uncomfortable table for two - in case a larger group came. This was unnecessary as the seats remained empty. This makes you feel unwelcome as a guest. It's a shame, because the ambience had potential.

We were really looking forward to a delicious bowl, but unfortunately our expectations were not met. As someone who works in the catering industry myself, I am aware of the increased prices and willing to pay for quality - in this case €16 for a bowl. However, the disappointment began with the presentation: the bowls were chipped and broken, which significantly spoiled the overall impression. In addition, the portion was significantly too small in relation to the large bowl. A tip: Smaller bowls could help here to make the portion look more visually appealing. The bowl tasted good, but as we all know, the eye eats with us and a nice first impression is crucial. Another drawback was the broken vase on the table, which added to the already tarnished impression. Less would have been more here - removing the vase would have improved the atmosphere. What should be positively highlighted is the friendly and fast service, which added some value to the visit. Nevertheless, the overall impression unfortunately falls short of expectations. Conclusion: There is potential, especially in the areas of presentation and details. The taste is solid, but the look should also be good for the price.

Actually a really great shop with really delicious bowls. But it would be even better if you also communicated on your homepage that you will be closed for several weeks, i.e. over Christmas and New Year's Eve, due to a lack of staff. Yesterday we stood in front of a closed door and were then allowed to read the information there. Very bad communication.

I've been to Good Food many times and it was my favorite bowl restaurant in Cologne. Now instead of two size bowls there is only one, which amounts to a price increase if the small size was enough for you. And at lunchtime it has been taking a long time for the food we ordered to arrive. Too bad!

The peanut burger was really good!

The bowl was very fresh and tasty. The large selection of vegetarian and vegan options is particularly great. The location has its own charm and creates a cozy atmosphere.

I was there recently with a friend and we were really excited about the new menu! The burger was just so delicious – really juicy and with great ingredients, just perfect. But the other dishes on the menu are also extremely diverse, so everyone can find something they like. What really convinced me was the price-performance ratio. The lunch menu, which includes a bowl and a free soft drink, only costs €14-17 – really top quality for the quality! We were there at lunchtime and it took a while to get our food, but the place was also super busy. Luckily we had enough time with us, so that wasn't a problem at all. The service was really friendly, attentive and quick, despite the place being full. At the end we had a cappuccino, which was also really good. All in all a great lunch, I'll definitely be back!

Das Good Food fiel uns auf, da wir im Motel One am Mediapark in Köln übernachteten. Das Restaurant sprach uns optisch mit der schönen Dekoration sofort an. Wir bestellten Bowls und Cocktails. Das Essen und die Getränke waren hervorragend. Die Bedienungen waren durchweg sympathisch. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend und kommen gerne wieder.

The name says it all! A very nice, clear menu and everything from the cocktail to the fries tasted really good. It was also pleasantly quiet at the time, even though it was full.

We wanted to eat 2 of the 5 suggestions with NeoTaste, unfortunately there were only 3 suggestions left on the menu. The first waitress was a bit overwhelmed because she saw our feedback as an attack and forgot about what we ordered. There was also a technical question from the boss, with the words, we won't be making NeoTaste any more soon anyway - just trouble. My Healthy Bowl had neither chia seeds, cashews nor cranberries, the rice was hard to aldente and in the second bowl the rice was cooked through but steamed because it was too hot, which I took as an lese majeste when I asked if everything was OK . Even my gift that this isn't really how you treat guests who might come back hasn't changed his unprofessional manner. We were here twice, the first and the last time! PS: According to a friend, the bowls are only half the size of their predecessor

Drinks were ordered and received, then there was probably a shift change at the service, we had to wait a full 30 minutes until someone took the order, despite asking for service at the bar. The apple spritzer is listed on the menu as 0.4 liters and I only got 0.2 liters for the same price. I didn't have the nerve to argue over the €2, I'd probably just get stuck with the waitress, who was friendly. Latte macchiato almost €5 without biscuit and without sugar. When the waitress asked for sugar, she went to the bar but was told away by the barman that there was no sugar. She came back with sweetener. No thanks. The coffee went back. Cancellation was probably unusual and the “foreman” then remembered where the stupid sugar was. The now slightly cooled coffee was served again with sugar. Impossible shop, nice service, eating is so good. Oh yes, and one dish was forgotten, then arrived late when everyone else had already eaten, "Great!"
