Heimservice Toscana in Saarbrücken

Hello to all the customers who have something negative to say about Pizzeria Toscana. We've been ordering from there for over 10 years, and I know the owner, Claudio, personally. I've worked in the restaurant industry for several years myself and have seen a lot... I can assure you, even if the wait is long, you get quality on your table, fresh ingredients, and decent portions. I can confirm three things: Quality, Cleanliness (top-notch), Freshness. This pizzeria cooks fresh pasta every day (no pasta that's been cooked for three days, frozen dough, frozen schnitzel, etc.). And let me tell you something else: Punctuality is a thing of the past, at least in Saarland. There are far too many cars and far too much traffic. And no roads, except for staff shortages. Wow, the food quality has drastically declined (extremely greasy and all three pizzas were burnt)... we used to order from here often and enjoyed it. Not in the future. Update on November 28, 2025: It's good to hear from you; we couldn't get through on the phone yesterday. However, your future "monitoring" is of no use to me. The pizza in the picture was the one for our children. Two slices were edible, as you can see in the picture. Not to mention that the pizza cost over €16 and the pizza maker must have the same view of it when he takes it out of the oven as I do when I take it out of the box. We simply threw 75% of the delivered food in the bin last night, and at the price we paid for the pizzas, that's absolutely unacceptable. And I've never had to rethink what my wife, my two children, and I would eat after placing an order!

My regular pizzeria for a long time now. It's one of the best pizzas in Dudweiler, definitely giving Tarzan a run for his money. Always generously topped with plenty of cheese. And the portions have never shrunk, unlike at some other restaurants. Keep it up!

Currently our favorite delivery service. The food is great, arrives fresh and hot, sometimes with a slightly longer wait time. Unfortunately, the previously well-functioning online shop has now been converted to a disastrous website: annoying captchas, no option to select the side dish, for example, some of the menu items are in English, missing images, confusing navigation, etc. After 15 minutes, I gave up in frustration. If things continue like this, we won't order from here again.

Today was the last time I ordered from here. The first time I ordered and paid online, and suddenly it was forgotten. Then they said delivery would take half an hour, claiming there had been an error. After waiting 1.5 hours, I complained and received an answer that it would take another half an hour. I ordered by phone today and they said it would take an hour. They would call when it was ready. There was no call, so I drove there an hour later. Someone was being rude. We're still within the time limit and have waited another 15 minutes. Dear team at Pizzaheimservice Toscana. There are other competitors too. Work on your organization and act. Otherwise, you'll lose customers.

An absolute disaster! The food is tasty, but the wait time is simply outrageous. You order online directly when the opening hours allow. A wait time of 95 minutes was displayed. That was already a long time, but okay. After 95 minutes, we called and were told that the time in the system hadn't yet been changed to 120 minutes. But even that time wasn't met. Now, after over 2.5 hours, we called again, and the pizza wasn't even ready. The owner's friendly comment that the price wouldn't be adjusted was the final straw, and we canceled the pizza order. It was a family-sized pizza, not a large order. From what I've read, this seems to be standard practice there. Disappointing, and definitely the last time we'll order from there.

I think the pizza is the best in the area, and the pickup service is always really fast. Inside the restaurant itself, you can tell it's a genuine family business.

Ordered online...after waiting for 2 hours, we called them...we were practically forgotten, or rather, they only saw our online order then...we waited another hour until the food finally arrived...it's a disgrace and unprofessional...they could have at least been accommodating and reduced the price...it was definitely the last time for us...

Ate there, pizza was great, everything else was great, staff was friendly. We'd gladly go back.

The pizza was incredibly delicious and huge. You can't get anything cheap anywhere anymore, so the price is okay 👍

Waited over 2.5 hours for food... never again!!!!

An absolute disgrace. You always have to wait over two hours. You call at half past six and the food comes at half past nine. Never experienced anything like this before.

Pizza is great and the pasta is good too. Delivery time is usually very long. If you market a pizza (Diavolo) as very spicy, you should also make it a little spicy 😉

If I could give 0 stars I would. We have ordered there several times and the delivery times are always extremely long, at least 90 minutes!!!! For pizza!!!! Today is the icing on the cake: at 5:20 p.m. I ordered 4 pizzas for delivery at 7 p.m. I was already told that it would be between 7 and 7:30 p.m. What wasn't there at 7:30 p.m. were our pizzas. After over 2 hours!!!! We called to complain and the boss didn't care about our complaint. The pizza wasn't even made yet!!! We should wait another half hour!!! That's not how you treat customers. The boss doesn't even have the balls to come to the phone himself, instead he lets the poor employee on the phone suffer it all. He only gives instructions from the background. Given the prices that this person charges for his pizzas, he should at least offer great service because these pizzas aren't anything special in terms of taste. So stay away from this pizza “non-service”

Regular customers at Pizzeria Toscana for years. Unfortunately, we have been disappointed more often in recent times, from portions that have now unfortunately been halved to the increased prices - for which we understand. Nevertheless, the price/performance ratio should be right. And last but not least, we have unfortunately often received negative attention recently due to incorrect order acceptance or the preparation of our food. For example, a pizza (with a few “special requests”) was incorrectly topped despite repeating it several times over the phone, and there were olives in the salad, which I had expressly asked to be left out. This is partly about food allergies. As good as the quality of the food is, the service and communication on the phone leave something to be desired. Except when you have the boss on the phone, everything goes smoothly. The faux pas finally became a hit thanks to a hair in the salad. Unfortunately, there are a lot of little things that have piled up recently. And perhaps this review will help Pizzeria Toscana to improve on some of its weak points. Because one thing can be said to you: in terms of taste, you are the best pizzeria in the Dudweiler area and the surrounding area!

We have been ordering via Toscana's own website for a long time, so far we have only had problems with an order once, which was resolved immediately after a call! In our opinion, the taste of the food is the best of the delivery services in the area; my mother likes it so much that she doesn't order her pasta and pizza anywhere else. 😂 The waiting times for us have always been reasonable and the suppliers have always been very nice! If you decide to order there, definitely do it via their own website, you can also pay via Paypal, Lieferando etc. keep about 30% of the restaurant's actual income, which I personally find pretty crazy. The website works just as well for ordering and the money also reaches the restaurant!

Ordered by phone and after 2.5 hours the food was still not there.

We often order from Toscana because the food is really good. Now it happened more than once that we had to wait quite a long time for our food, today for example 2 and a half hours... I don't think that's ok.

Für mich persönlich mit Abstand der beste Lieferdienst im Sulzbachthal. Da sind die paar Euro Mehrkosten erträglich, denn Geschmack und Qualität stimmt vollkommen.

Für mich immernoch die beste Pizza in Dudweiler! Preise sind zwar angezogen aber das ist sie mir wert! Immer wieder gern! 💚

Das Essen ist super,da kann man nichts sagen. Aber die Preise sind mittlerweile übertrieben. Lieferung erst ab 35 Euro und die Extras zwischen 3 und 4 Euro. Ich finde das echt heftig, deswegen nur drei Sterne sorry.

Freundliches Personal, sehr leckeres Essen und nicht zu lange Lieferzeiten. Jedes Gericht war bisher für mich eine 10/10.

Seit Jahren Stammkunde. Das Essen ist immer lecker. ABER die Lieferzeit ist eine blanke Katastrophe. Aus 1,5 Stunden sind aktuell 2,5 Stunden geworden. Wir mussten 2x anrufen. Beim ersten Mal sei der Fahrer unterwegs, beim zweiten Mal wäre das Essen noch in der Zubereitung. Wir sind ehrlich enttäuscht. Wenn es Verspätungen gibt oder zuviel los ist, dann sollte man seinen Kunden wenigstens die Wahl lassen zu bestellen oder es zu lassen.

Super cordon bleu gegessen, Kinder hatten Pizza und Nudeln. War alles super lecker, und heiß. Bestellen wieder. Preisleistung hervorragend! Lieferung früher wie angegeben!!!!

Also wir haben schon öfter dort bestellt, auch mit Freunden wir waren durchweg alle zufrieden, die Portionen waren super. Wird man auf jeden Fall satt. Ein Stern abzug wegen den langen Wartezeiten, aber das Essen kann man nur empfehlen. Lg

Hätte gerne mehr Sterne gegeben, den das Essen ist echt super! Nur leider ist es keine Seltenheit das man mal locker 2 Stunden auf das Essen wartet. Wen man am Telefon auf die Wartezeit hingewiesen wird ist es ja noch ok den man kann dann selbst entscheiden ob man darauf warten will! Wenn man aber 2 Stunden Wartezeit angibt und man nach 3 Stunden immer noch kein Essen hat, dann ist dies nicht ok! Wenn dann noch ein Gericht fehlt auf das man wiederum 30 Minuten wartet, dann muss man auch den Ärger des Kunden verstehen. Ich hätte wenigstens mal eine Entschuldigung erwartete, wie auch das das fehlende Gericht von 7 € (bei einem Gesamtbestellwert von über 80€) nicht berechnet wird! Dementsprechend bin ich sehr enttäuscht was den Kundenservice angeht..... sehr schade den das Essen ist wirklich gut!

Wir bestellen relativ oft und EIGENTLICH gerne...... Das Essen ist top, wirklich mega. Fürs Essen müsste man eigentlich 5 Sterne vergeben. Egal ob Pasta, Pizza, Fleisch oder sonstiges, alles super ABER die Lieferzeiten gehen einfach garnicht. Man muss immer 2 Stunden auf sein Essen warten, was ja noch ok ist wenn es heißt 2 Stunden. Aber meistens bekommt man eine Uhrzeit gesagt oder das es 2 Stunden dauert und es kommt IMMER über eine Stunde zu spät. Also meistens heißt es 2 Stunden aber es kommt nach über 3 Stunden. Gestern haben wir bestellt und ich war echt sauer......um 16:45 Uhr bestellt, Essen sollte um 18:30 da sein. Um 19:10 angerufen nachgefragt, da war das Essen noch nicht fertig......um 19:40 kam es dann an. 9 Gerichte sagte der Herr am Telefon noch bei der Bestellung und es waren nur 8, also 1 Gericht vergessen......angerufen....wir liefern nach. Wieder 40 Minuten warten. Das Brot hat gefehlt zum Salat. Ein Schnitzel (groß, normal 2 große schnitzel) waren dieses Mal nur 1 großes und ein kleines Stück Keine Entschuldigung, ein kleiner Rabatt auf das fehlende Gericht, eine Flasche Wein oder irgendwas dafür das was gefehlt hat oder das Essen 70 Minuten zu spät kam.....NIX Und das als eigentlich fast schon Stammkunde ist echt sehr schade.

Manche schreiben hier ja es wäre nicht mehr so wie früher . Also wenn die Pizza jetzt schon so gut ist und sie früher mal besser dann war es wohl die beste Pizza im Saarland 👍👍👍 . Pizza ist wirklich sehr gut . Bestelle gerne wieder . Alles wie ich es mag viel Belag Mittel dicker Teig und perfekt gebacken . Geil . Sie hatten super viel zu tun und schaffen es dennoch auf die Qualität zu achten also da haben sie die 2 Stunden ( was man mir aber vorher gesagt hat , auch super ) da haben sich die 2 Stunden Wartezeit gelohnt . Wir sind schon über Jahre Stammkunden des Heimservice Toscana. Alles was wir dort bisher bestellt haben war immer superlecker. Die Portionen sind üppig und genau nach unserem Geschmack. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unserer Meinung nach top und wir sind immer satt und zufrieden. Kleiner Tip: Aktuell kam es schon vor, dass man mal länger warten muss. Eventuell, da Coronabedingt die Lieferanten sehr gefragt sind. Wenn man jedoch um 17:00 Uhr schon weiß dass man um 19:00 Uhr gerne das Essen hätte, dann sollte man gleich anrufen und für diese Uhrzeit bestellen. Das hat bisher immer recht gut geklappt.

Nicht mehr so wie es mal. Scaloppina Parmigiana ohne Soße und zwei Stunden auf mein Essen gewartet.

Sehr lecker und Prombte Service 👍👍 Echt toll... Ich hatte ein Abendessen für 8 Personen vorbestellt.... Eine große Platte mit Rigatoni al Forno und Salat...😋 Lieferung kam sogar einige Minuten vor dem Termin und alles war top... Salat kam in einer großen Schüssel und war frisch. Nicht eine einzige braune Stelle zu finden. Das Dressing kam in einer extra Flasche und war mehr als benötigt... Allen hat's geschmeckt und waren sehr zufrieden... Und der Preis war echt spitze für das Essen... 🤗 Gerne mal wieder

Manchmal sind die Lieferzeiten beim Heimservice etwas länger und da kann es durchaus mal eine Stunde oder noch etwas länger dauen, bis der Pizzabote das Essen bringt. Bisher war das Essen aber immer warm und gut. Faire Preise und auch das Personal ist freundlich. Was will man mehr?
