Great Moroccan but also German food! The service is excellent and the owner is always courteous and confident. Prices good.

Very unfriendly staff!!!! My friend is Moroccan and the Moroccan boss spoke to her incredibly rudely. My friend asked if they offered a certain Moroccan dish here and was told in a completely respectful tone that this wasn't a battisserie and was also annoyed that we didn't order enough. After this inhumane treatment, we immediately left the restaurant. I can only strongly advise against a visit to this establishment!!!! Absolute no go!!!!!

Unfortunately, we have only known about Hayat's since it was around the corner from us. The first visit was like visiting friends. Hayat is a very nice person, always in a good mood, and an incredibly great host. We've tried a lot, whether Moroccan specialties or schnitzel, goulash, roulades and even a St. Martin's goose. Personally, I don't like goose, but I tried my husband's and was very impressed. My favorite is and remains the excellent leg of lamb. I prefer to eat it simply with the always fresh and warm flatbread. We also celebrated my 60th birthday with 20 guests at Hayat. We were all thrilled. Everything was just right, from the preliminary discussions to the farewell. Hayat and her team took care of everything perfectly, we didn't miss anything even though the place was packed.

We have now celebrated a birthday with over 20 people at Hayat's. The choice of table was perfect and of course beautifully decorated. The implementation of our wishes was exceeded. We opted for a smaller selection of the menu. Our menu was beautifully printed and displayed on the tables. Our main courses were served in quick succession. No wishes were left unfulfilled. Everyone loved the mezze and the excellent food. The desserts are also amazing. The boss simply puts her heart and soul into it. Even if the restaurant is full to capacity, the service manager is always quick, friendly and in a good mood. Unreserved recommendation and above all an unforgettable birthday. Thanks to the whole team. You are simply amazing!!!!! Every visit is an experience! Everything is also great to take away and well packaged.

There were four of us breaking the fast. Food was ok but the prices were overpriced! What bothered us the most was that after eating we were told that we had to get up and clear the place again!! The break of the fast was at 6:05 p.m. and we had already paid the bill at 7:00 p.m.! No time to enjoy tea in peace!

There are good recommendations from the owner of the restaurant. There is a great selection of vegan starters. Not with the main courses. I think 1-2 dishes and a vegan version (i.e. leaving out yogurt etc.)

The food was delicious (as a Moroccan it could be better). The woman there was very nice to us. Even though we were late for Iftar, she tried to serve us quickly.

A great restaurant with a super nice owner, great friendly service, very tasty Moroccan dishes, but some German dishes. Particularly noteworthy are the schnitzel (you can hear a knock in the kitchen) and the sensationally delicious potato 🥔 salad. I had duck tangine and it was great. This is what duck should taste like. Juicy and crispy. Thanks.

Very very good food! We tried different dishes and everything was sooo good! For dessert there was a Moroccan dish that was also delicious! The mint tea is also recommended The owner is super nice and you immediately feel very comfortable.

Yesterday was the bachelor party of a friend. Some of the guests asked for raw onions to have them next to the dishes. First the answer was 'no', but what was surprising is the way that the 'no' was expressed. I expect a minimum of flexibility, taking an onion and cutting it does not take a lot of time, that's the minimum of hospitality we could have recieved, particularly on such a day. I personally wanted to pay by card an amount of 50€, they accept only EC card, fair enough, I was dragged by my hand by the waitress that was mad because I did not pay attention on the sign when I entered in the restaurant, the problem is again in the way things are handled and communicated, it was not nice in my opinion. I advise the staff to work on the service they deliver if they would like to keep customers in the future.

Not recommended if you have an party or events. I had my bachelor dinner there, service was not really nice with us, expensive and couldn't pay with visa cards. My first and last time.

Wonderful authentic Moroccan food. Both the starters and the main courses are incredibly tasty. The beef tagine is highly recommended. An absolute dream! We'll be back! A big compliment also to the friendly service and the very nice boss. Hyat takes a lot of time for her guests and you have very entertaining conversations with her.

Excellent welcome, we spoke with the owner and also exposed the problem of a vegan and a celiac, she immediately showed us gluten-free and meat-free alternatives. I recommend everyone to come and eat in these parts.

I've been going to Hayat's for years now and am always very impressed with the food and the very friendly welcome! Since I have two food intolerances (sorbitol and fructose), it is often not easy for me to find a suitable restaurant, but at Hayat's that is not a problem. If necessary, she also adjusts it a bit for me. I love coming every time!

We were here for the first time today and we are simply thrilled. The food tastes excellent and the boss puts her heart and soul into it. At the end we were the last guests and we sat together with her and had a very good time. Yesterday we were there again - it was once again excellent. Update: today we had beef, chicken and kefta tagine as well as various small things as the main course. It was once again very, very tasty!

Great dinner in the well-kept Moroccan restaurant Hayat's: appetizers feta and calimari tasty, but quite conventional. The highlight are the skin dishes in the tagine, a North African casserole made of clay. I would have liked the meat of the tasty kofta tagine to be a little more tender, but the leg of lamb tagine with bulgur is to die for, highly recommended. Landlady friendly and committed. Parking on the street can be found after a bit of searching, bus stop in front of the door.

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit authentischem marrokanischen Essen (habe da allerdings kaum Vergleichswerte). Die Vorspeisen sowie die Hauptgerichte waren insgesamt sehr lecker und kamen schnell an den Tisch. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Definitiv einen Besuch wert, sollte man auf jeden Fall mal probiert haben.

The three of us were here for the first time today, so the food was incredibly tasty, we ordered 4 different dishes and they were all great, Hayat is really nice and hospitable and so is the whole staff. Thank you for the food, we will definitely come back.

Außergewöhnliche Gerichte, die man sonst nirgends in Nürnberg bekommt. Die Vorspeisen sind genau wie die Hauptgerichte eine kulinarische Sensation. Egal welche Vorspeise man wählt, mit dem frisch gebackenen Fladenbrot kombiniert, kann man einfach nichts falsch machen. Die Hauptgerichte sind mächtig und absolut köstlich! Wenn man nach den mächtigen Hauptspeisen tatsächlich noch Hunger hat, sind die Desserts der krönende Abschluss. Die Chefin ist sehr freundlich und herzlich, hat ein sehr gewinnendes Wesen. Man fühlt sich wie daheim und gleichzeitig im Urlaub. Das Restaurant ist wie ein zweites Wohnzimmer. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

As a Moroccan, I was excited to experience authentic flavors in Moroccan soup, but unfortunately I was severely disappointed. Because of this experience, I decided to cut my visit short and not order any more food. Additionally, I encountered inconveniences during the payment process. Although card payments were generally possible, they were not accepted for small amounts in order to... However, this information was not clearly communicated anywhere, neither on the restaurant's website, nor at the entrance, nor elsewhere. This lack of transparency was extremely inconvenient and caused inconvenience during my visit.

Incredibly good and exceptional food in a very pleasant atmosphere. The warm-hearted boss is always in a good mood and has an open ear for every guest. The food is freshly prepared, tastes excellent and stands out from the usual "go out for a quick meal". If you want to eat something extraordinary, this is the right place for you. Whether with business partners, friends or family, you've come to the right place here. The starters are just as recommended as the Moroccan main courses. But be careful, the portions are not small.

Basically recommended, the menu is extensive and offers something for everyone, even for Franconians. The composition of the kitchen team is also nice and the fact that they are briefly presented on the menu. Rooms are just the right size, staff friendly but not intrusive. I deducted a few points because I missed the special flavor that Moroccan cuisine has in the dishes I ordered and the falafel was unfortunately too dry. And it would be advantageous to note whether the starters are cold or warm. Here I would like to mention Aleadas, a warm red lentil paste - gigantic!! Of the wines, I can highly recommend the Moroccan red wine, a little insider tip.

We, my wife and I, went to eat at Hayat's again after a long break and were immediately greeted in the most friendly way. The subsequent service and the food served were excellent, just as we had been on previous visits. The Hayats will continue to be one of our absolute favorites in Nuremberg.

I recently had a meal there with my family and the view from the outside is beautiful, I could indulge in the starter. The chicken tagine was also amazing, I can only recommend it, there are German and Moroccan dishes, I think it's clever and it's great that it is too There are German dishes, as a small child, for example, wouldn't like every Moroccan dish. For children: fries, schnitzel, etc.! For dessert I ordered a chocolate soufflé, it was served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream/hazelnut ice cream and oranges, it was tasty very fine. I could write a whole book about this restaurant and what I guarantee is that there won't be a single thing in this book that says anything bad👍😃

We spontaneously got a table shortly after 9 p.m. and that in the run-up to Christmas. We were welcomed very lovingly. Great service, delicious food and nice ambience. Highly recommended. My favorite: rabbit and lots of different starters.

Super Service von Chefin und Bedienung. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert haben, wurde ein Platz für uns gefunden. Die Chefin empfahl Tapas, da die Hauptspeisen länger dauern würden. Das Lokal war voll. Das Essen war ein Traum. Alles war hervorragend und das beste, was wir bisher so gegessen haben. Die herzerfrischende, offene Art der Chefin war die Krönung. Wir kommen wieder.

Waren das erste mal da, wurden sehr höflich begrüßt, soweit alles in Ordnung. Hatten 2 Schälchen mit den Vorspeisen, für das Brot wurde mal knackig 3,50 verlangt, und das war noch nicht einmal frisch, nur aufgewärmt, das ist happig! Von den 4 Gerichten, sind 2 komplett durchgefallen, die Pommes kamen kalt an, und das Non plus ultra war es geschmacklich nicht, beim 2 Gericht, hätte es intensiver vom Geschmack sein können, da fehlten die Gewürze, marokkanisch ist typisch für seine Gewürze und den Geschmack. Dann wird unter dem Essen der Teller weg geräumt, ich hatte noch was von der Vorspeise....also geht gar nicht. Bedienung war nicht unfreundlich, aber war auch nicht sonderlich bemüht. Wenn gefragt wurde, ob es noch was sein kann, kam es nicht, wurde komplett vergessen , es wird was angeboten, dann aber nicht gebracht! Fazit , ausprobiert, leider kein Wiederholungsbedarf.

Essen war superlecker und mal was ganz Anderes, war das erste Mal da und definitiv nicht das letzte Mal! Herzlichste Chefin überhaupt. Einzig die Servicekraft hat noch Luft nach oben, trübt aber das Gesamtbild nicht. Ich bzw wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, wenn wieder ein Nürnberg Besuch ansteht. Kleiner Tipp: Fahrt mit den Öffentlichen (S-Bahn Gleishammer 100m, Buslinie 43 / 44 hält direkt vorm Haus), Parken mit Auto ist quasi nicht möglich in dem Wohngebiet, da sucht und lauft ihr ewig.

10 von 10Punkten. Waren zu acht essen und alle begeistert. Vorspeisen schmecken mega lecker (vorallem der Petersiliensalat), ich hatte als Hauptgang die Falafelbällchen (mit Gemüse, Reis und Dip). Und der Hammer waren die Nachspeisen. Absoluter Tipp, die Nachspeise mit Feigen! Die Chefin ist so ein Goldstück, herzlich und aufmerksam. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß und haben den Abend genossen.

Hayat‘s lebt von der freundlichen, fröhlichen, fränkischsten Marokkanerin Nürnbergs: Hayat selbst. Auch wenn alle im Service dieses Restaurants immer ihr bestes geben, damit man sich zu Hause fühlt, ist die Chefin selbst stets präsent und geht aufmerksam auf jeden Gast ein. Das Essen ist hervorragend, bodenständig,ehrlich.Ohne anstrengenden Anspruch noch eine hippe Fusion-Kitchen-Butze sein zu wollen. Super Essen in gelassener, gemütlicher Atmosphäre.

Sensationell lecker! Wir hatten 2 Dips mit Brot bestellt und minztee und zur Hauptspeise eine Tagonen mit Rindfleisch, Pflaumen und Mandeln und es war so lecker! Zum Nachtisch gab's warme Feigen mit Eis. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Es ist einfach schön, dass es dieses Lokal wieder gibt! Meine Freundin und ich waren gestern zum Essen da. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Hauptgang schmeckt einfach alles super. Wer die marrokanische Küche mag wird hier garantiert nicht enttäuscht. Auch Bekannten habe ich - schon vor Jahren - das Lokal weiter empfohlen, und diese sind ebenso begeistert - und kommen immer wieder gerne zu Hyat. Auch sind Hyat und ihr Team sehr gute Gastgeber... Es ist auch schön, dass man im Freien sitzen kann. Das Lokal ist sehr gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen.

Nachdem wir von der Eröffnung des Restaurants mit dem Schwerpunkt auf marokkanische Speisen erfahren hatten, wollten wir dieses unbedingt besuchen. Neben den marokkanischen Gerichten werden auch fränkische Spezialitäten angeboten. Da meine Frau und ich begeisternden Marokko-Fans sind (unser regelmäßiges Urlaubsziel), haben wir uns natürlich besonders auf die landestypischen Gerichte gefreut und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Gerichte schmecken super lecker und absolut authentisch. Die Inhaberin kommt selbst aus Marokko und legt daher großen Wert auf den Einsatz der dort regionalen Gewürze. Die Gerichte werden mit viel Liebe zubereitet, was man auch schmeckt. Wir haben somit ein neues Lieblingsrestaurant gefunden und freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Das Ambiente ist wirklich gemütlich mit der marokkanischen klingenden Musik, den kunstvollen Lampen und geschmackvoll eingedeckten Tischen. Das Essen hat uns ebenso überzeugt. Die Vorspeisen wurden in kleinen Schälchen serviert, die Hauptgerichte als klassische Tagine direkt vom Herd. Die Bedienung war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch und werden euch fleißig weiterempfehlen!

Wir sind einfach nur überzeugt von diesem gemütlichem und besonders leckerem Restaurant. Mein Mann kommt aus Marokko, aus diesem Grund habe ich schon öfters in Marokko die marokkanische Küche probieren dürfen. Wir hatten ein Rindertajine, ein Hähnchentajine und 2 Mezze. Es hat alles an die Küche, der Oma meines Mannes erinnert. Eine gute Möglichkeit für uns Essen zu gehen, wenn wir Omas Essen vermissen!!

Hatte hier einen schönen Abend mit meiner Familie. Der Service war freundlich, das Ambiente schön und das Essen lecker. An Vorspeisen gab es eine große Auswahl, die man auch leicht untereinander teilen konnte. So konnte jeder von allem etwas probieren. Als Hauptspeise habe ich mich für das Rinder-Tagine entschieden und war begeistert. Das Fleisch war zart und wurde in einer würzigen Soße serviert. Als Beilage gab es Gewürzreis. Auch das Hähnchen-Tagine und das Enten-Tagine kamen bei uns sehr gut an. Alles in allem eine super Erfahrung. Werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und die marokkanische Küche weiter erkunden!

Herzlicher Empfang und sehr nette Bedienung. Das Lokal hatte eine Wohnzimmeratmosphäre. Wir hatten Rinder-Tagine und Kaninchenkeule, also marokkanische Spezialitäten. Leider vermissten wir bei beiden Gerichten die typischen (intensiven) Gewürze, es schmeckte beides sehr fad. Das Rinder-Tagine kam zudem in einer Alu-Pfanne und das Gericht schmeckte nach Alu – sehr schade und zudem gesundheitlich bedenklich. Die Preise sind gehoben für das was man bekommt. Hat uns leider nicht überzeugt.

Ich komme bereits seit 2014 jedes Jahr mit meinem Stammtisch mindestens einmal in Hayat´s Restaurant. Die Tischreservierungen sind immer ganz unkompliziert möglich, auch für mehr als 10 Personen. Es gibt nicht viele Restaurants in Nürnberg, in denen man so herzlich empfangen wird und der Gastwirt einen beim Namen kennt, auch wenn man nur 1-2x/Jahr dorthin kommt. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne deshalb vorbei. In den Sommermonaten bietet sich eine Reservierung im Innenhof an. Auch wenn Hauptverkehrsstraßen in der Nähe sind, kann man sich dort immer noch ungestört unterhalten, da der Bereich gut durch die umliegenden Häuser geschützt ist. Bei der Auswahl der Speisen gibt es für jeden Geschmack etwas. Auch Leute, die keine marokkanische Küche bevorzugen, werden hier fündig. Die marrokanische Küche ist besonders zu empfehlen, wenn man generell sehr aufgeschlossen gegenüber Köstlichkeiten aus dem Orient auch ist. Es gibt sowohl vegatarische Gerichte (z.B. Falafel-Zubereitungen) als auch Fleischgerichte (Köfte usw.). Wir kommen immer wieder gerne und wurden bisher noch nie enttäuscht. Weiter so und vielen Dank, Hayat!

Durch Zufall sind meine Freunde und ich im Winter 2016 auf dieses nicht sofort ins Auge springende Restaurant gestoßen. Hayat hat uns mit ihrer offenen und freundlichen Art sofort von sich überzeugt, das Essen spricht auch jedes Mal für sich. Die gegrillte Hähnchenbrust, leicht pikant, esse ich bei jedem zweiten, spätestens dritten Besuch. Alle anderen Gerichte sind ebenso phantastisch. Von den Vorspeisen bis zum Nachtisch ist alles eine absolute Empfehlung wert. Weshalb es auch noch fränkische Küche gibt, verstehe ich persönlich überhaupt nicht; schließlich gehe ich nicht zum Marokkaner, um ein Schnitzel zu essen. Aber auch das scheint gut zu schmecken, meine Geschäftspartner aus Großbritannien waren damit auch mehr als zufrieden. Hungrig geht hier auch sicher niemand raus. Die hausgemachten Limonaden sind im Sommer unheimlich erfrischend und lecker. Der Innenhof ist im Hochsommer angenehm schattig und man kann bei gutem Essen und tollen Getränken abschalten und entspannen. Nicht nur in der Freizeit und für Familienfeiern kann man bei Hayat einkehren, auch für Geschäftsessen kann man das Restaurant bedenkenlos empfehlen, um seinen Gästen mal etwas anderes als Schweinehaxe oder Sushi kredenzen zu lassen. Seit dem ersten Besuch kommen wir alle zwei bis drei Wochen zu Hayat, wenn man so die Gespräche zwischen Hayat und den anderen Gästen verfolgt, hat sie - vollkommen zurecht - sehr viele Stammgäste. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

Brot. Serviert auf einem schäbigen Blechteller, der stand auf einem abgewetzten Plastikteller. Ausstattung macht was her, aber besonders gemütlich ist es nicht dort. Leider auch keine Musik. Wir waren drinnen.

Vor Kurzem war ich mit meiner Freundin in Marokko und dort haben wir traditionelles Couscous gegessen. Als wir gesehen haben, dass auch in Hayat's Restaurant Couscous nach marokkanischer Art zubereitet wird, wollten wir das unbedingt probieren. Meine Freundin hat ein Tagine gegessen und ich habe mir Couscous bestellt. Um es kurz zu machen: Unfassbar lecker! Das Essen versetzt einen nach Marokko und das Personal ist super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Ein Tipp am Rande: Setzt euch in den Innenhof. Da ist es angenehm schattig und kühl! Wir werden auf jeden Fall häufiger dort essen!!
