Fantastic view and great ambience, but the food quality is somewhat average. And the price-quality ratio is rather below average (quite high price for rather average burgers and desserts). But very friendly service staff.

Great place on the roof, with a beautiful view of Hannover! 😍 The food arrived so quickly that we were surprised! We ordered a roll and stewed pulled beef with potatoes - amazing. There are places to take photos. There are open areas and closed ones, so basically you can come in any weather. You must reserve a table in advance. The service is pleasant and courteous. There are regular tables, there are sun loungers, rocking chairs, high bar stools, you can sit on a cushion near a shallow pool, in general there is something for every taste and color)) Bottom line: go, you won’t regret it!

Because of my work I am often in Hanover and I come here every time. It feels like “coming home” to me. In my eyes, a home is not a place but the people who make it a home. The service here cannot be described in words. You get comprehensive care and everyone is super attentive. If you want to enjoy a great meal, you definitely have to come here. The food and the ambience always make my evening after work a wonderful experience. Anyone who claims otherwise here has no idea what good gastronomy is. A huge compliment to the whole team. And especially to Beri, Kata and Deniz! You are all so warm!

Wir waren am 20.07. mit 6 Personen zum ersten Mal in der Roof Top Bar. Das Ambiente und der Ausblick waren sehr schön, das Essen durchschnittlich. Allerdings wurde unsere Freude durch 2 Umstände erheblich gestört. Wir hatten einen Tisch direkt am Pool. Dahinter befand sich eine riesige Leuchtwand, die pausenlos Werbeblöcke einspielte. Abwechselnd mit hellen und dunklen Bildern. Die hellen Bilder waren so hell, dass man die Augen schließen musste, um nicht geblendet zu werden. Wenn das alle paar Sekunden passiert, ist es vorbei mit der Gemütlichkeit. Eine Beschwerde bei der Servicekraft hatte keinen Erfolg. Noch schlimmer war allerdings die Tatsache, dass sich auf dem Dach wohl ein Abluftrohr befunden hat, was ständig irgendwelche Fäkaliengerüche zu uns getragen hat. Der Gestank war zeitweise unerträglich. Wir sind dann frühzeitig gegangen. Falls wir nochmals wiederkommen, nicht in die Nähe des Pools.

Four of us ate and drank in this restaurant today. The food and drinks were very tasty. We made a reservation at 5 p.m. and were there around 4:55 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. a waitress came to us and pointed out that the reservations were only for two hours. We were then told that the next people for the table would come in 13 minutes and we had to leave the table now . Another table probably wouldn't have been available because EVERYTHING is reserved. So we had to pay quickly and leave the restaurant. To spend a nice evening with drinks and food in a restaurant, the 2 hours given are not enough!! We had never experienced being thrown out of a bar before and were not very happy about the situation as it interrupted our evening. It would be nice if you were informed when you picked up your table that the reservation is only valid for two hours. Many people don't read the note in the confirmation email about this. The duration of the reservation should definitely be reconsidered!

The food was delicious. The burger tasted good and the fries were nice and crispy. The sushi was delicious too. The view is magnificent. In return, you are happy to accept that the food is 1-3 euros more expensive. In my opinion, the service staff still has to get used to it. In our case, the responsibility of the waiters to the tables was not clear. This meant we had to wait longer between ordering drinks and ordering food. This means the star is less in the overall rating.

Great rooftop bar. I can't comment on the food, but it looked delicious. The service was attentive and diligent. The view is second to none. The furnishings are great and modern. The drink prices are still okay. Parking on site is sometimes difficult. Free places can sometimes become scarce. But the Rtg light rail. Alte Heide practically stops at the door. I can recommend this bar. Edit: we were here a second time and now also ate something. The sushi is absolutely top. My Bueger was basically okay. Compared to really good sushi, it can't keep up in terms of price/performance. The bun and patty were actually good. The components and everything together were a bit too little for me for €20. Both would have liked to have been a size larger. The taste was okay too. But I have eaten better ones in other (also good and comparable) restaurants. The Spicy Edamame 🫛 were again very tasty. The service was also top the second time.

The ambience from the view and the furnishings is great. However, the service staff say that not every meal tastes good. The burger was just greasy and there was almost only sushi. The map can only be read using a QR code, which is small and annoying on a cell phone. The music is too loud and no child-friendly dishes. All I can say is that it's more like fast food because it has nothing to do with cooking. It's definitely great as a bar, but the quality and selection of food up there isn't good. There won't be a really good chef there. Remember, not everyone is into sushi or fast food, there are people who prefer quality food

From the reception to dessert, we had an incredibly lovely evening! Thanks to the whole team, especially Angi, who accompanied us throughout the evening and was there for us around the clock. It is a rarity to be able to enjoy such friendly and warm service. We thank you. The food is also highly recommended. We were particularly impressed by the sushi. We'll definitely be back!

The bar looked great. It's a shame we would have liked to eat there. We stayed at the hotel next door (17.08.24 at 7 p.m.) That's why we tried to get a table without a reservation. The lady at the service said "She first has to distribute the people who had reserved, then she can keep an eye on it." We waited politely. However In times of computers you actually have a clear view😉She distributed the reservations, then someone came who didn't have a reservation and she gave them a table. So some of the other reviews are probably true, that there are differences here. Another guest walked past all of us and briefly reserved a table for 4 people with a waiter this evening🥳. It's a shame. It's a shame.

Everything is very oriental/Turkish, Arabic etc. -Lots of kitsch and glitter and leather. -The waitresses are a fireworks display of applied lips and make-up. -Our waitress (approx. 20 years old) immediately informed me that almost everywhere in Hanover you can only pay with a card if you spend 10 euros or more. - From the recessions you can see who wrote the good ones and who wrote the bad ones. The crowd is more like a shisha bar. We didn't try any food. Lt. There are plenty of starters on the menu, but only 4 main courses. Burgers, cheeseburgers, sushi and fish with chips. 2 small cappuccinos €8.40 (okay for the view)

The shop is half empty and the service says they can't sit us at one of the tables in the shade...

So this bar is not suitable for families. Anyone who comes with a stroller is not welcome here or you will be lied to that other tables are reserved and will be assigned a place where you won't notice anything of the ambience. We left immediately. I also have to say that we checked their homepage where you can make a reservation, but it doesn't say which seating area it is. That's why it's a disgrace.

We have reserved a table. The table was very small and not nicer. We ordered our drinks, unfortunately my drink was very small for such a price (less than 0.2 glass). we ordered the food, unfortunately the food was really bad. I ordered pasta, but the pasta tasted very badly like fish. I eat fish, but the pasta wasn't good at all and shouldn't taste like fish. The employee never bothered to come to our table and ask us if everything was OK. Unfortunately it wasn't that good. after eating this food I got food poisoning and vomited all the time and diarrhea too. ☹️

I had a wonderful experience at Havn. The atmosphere is cozy, and the decor is stylish yet comfortable. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a great place to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend it!

Very nice atmosphere with a great view. The food was very tasty. What was a bit surprising was that the menu didn't include some dishes that had previously been seen in pictures online (social media). However, the map matched the information on the website. Meals and drinks are one euro more expensive, but this can be seen in advance and you therefore know what budget you have to be prepared for. For colder temperatures, have heat lamps on site outside. We'd love to come back :)

The server Delyar is the best! The food came really quick and tasted very good. However, for the price the sushi portions and extent of taste are a bit questionable

Even after the fifth visit, the view is still impressive and the service was friendly and courteous every evening. Perfect in summer to end the evening, you almost feel like you're on vacation. The selection of drinks is large and good, I and my companions didn't miss anything when it came to food, the visit is worth it and the price/performance ratio is right. So far we have always been greeted warmly and even if there was no more space available, this was communicated in a friendly manner. With the relatively simple online reservation you can also check availability in advance.

The location is beautiful, cozy and stylish. There's a holiday mood. The pulled beef burger and the spring roll salad tasted very good. The service was also very friendly and customer focused. However, it took quite a long time for the drinks to arrive and the cocktails and homemade lemonades didn't exactly blow us away. We would definitely come back - just because of the location.

We were a group of 5 people. Were warmly welcomed and shown to the table. Since it was quite hot, a new place was easily prepared for us. Overall, the staff was very friendly; we were greeted warmly by everyone during the short tour. Very special thanks to “Angie” who was primarily responsible for our table and also responded to special requests. The food and drinks were served quickly. The sushi is beautifully prepared. However, the taste/quality needs to be improved a bit. Experienced sushi connoisseurs notice the difference here. In our opinion, the price/performance ratio is not quite in balance when it comes to the food. The prices for the bowl - a bit too high even with the view. Accompanying small dishes/finger food e.g. missing the wine... here they could only offer us fries. There is no small children's menu with 3-5 dishes. The dessert menu could also be expanded a bit. You'll notice some initial difficulties here and there, which are absolutely normal. We recommend a visit and hope that the price-performance ratio will be adjusted accordingly. Given the view, interior, staff and exclusivity, appropriate prices are justified but then this must also be reflected in the food. Looking forward to the next time - we'll be back :-)

Sushi prices like in Tresor, but unfortunately no taste or quality like in Tresor. Bowl was inedible. Service really not good, haphazard, messed up, and much more. Worst 43 sour we've ever had.

The prices for the bad food is probably a joke. Five main courses are offered here and mainly sushi. Anyone who eats sushi here has absolutely no taste. The sushi was really not tasty and the truffle pasta was cold, even though it was served in a pan. Luckily service was better. Conclusion: You can come here to drink, the view is also really nice. But don't expect anything from the kitchen.

I had fish and chips, not a really difficult meal. But at the end I had an tasteless fish with more of the breading than the fish. It was way too expensive for that one drink and one meal, but I think because of the location, the price is a little bit high for that kind of food. The service was nice though, but the waiting at the door was terrible as the elevator opens and you are immediately at the front desk, where people are already waiting. So no place at the entrance at all.

We had an incredibly beautiful wedding in this house! It simply couldn't have been better! Hassan and the roof terrace team deserve special mention! Every wish was met with our eyes, the location was a dream, the food and drinks were delicious, everyone worked wonderfully and our guests were completely satisfied! This house is highly recommended as a restaurant and event location! The hotel was also to our complete satisfaction. This location is an enrichment for Hanover! Just thank you!!

The dark-skinned receptionist was very rude and disrespectful to us! A very bad reception - The fact that there are no seats available can also be conveyed in a normal human tone! Nice rooftop bar with a great view. I found the prices too high for the cocktails without alcohol at € 9.50. If only it had tasted good. The bowl is ok but nothing special. Otherwise there is sushi. Still a nice place that scores with the view. More not! The audience is young and from surrounding residential areas such as Sahlkamp and Vahrenheide. The staff is very courteous and helpful. In any case, ginger ale was added to my cocktail because before it only tasted like sugar with ice cubes. I really like the bar downstairs. The ambience was very harmonious in winter. Now it is closed in summer. There are parking spaces Hard to find, unless you drive through the barrier at the hotel and pay 2 euros from the 2nd hour.

Great location and view over Hanover but more appearance than reality. The bar is new, which means that the processes have to be found, etc. but to greet your guests in such chaos with the words: you only reserved for 2 hours and then wanted to offer us a "seat" square meter at the edge of the pool... no, sorry. HAVN is the perfect location for a lovely evening! In addition to the breathtaking view of the whole of Hanover, the sushi is really delicious and the service is just great! Bida served us and she was really nice, very professional and absolutely attentive. Always my pleasure!:)

A little outside the city center but very easy to get to. Great view and nice ambience. Much more stylish than the other two rooftop bars in the city. Also suitable for those who are afraid of heights. There are plenty of seats, including those protected from the weather. You definitely have to make a reservation. Unfortunately you can only stay for 2 hours. The elevator is a bit tight. The service is very fast, but in our case some knowledge was missing. But that was quickly resolved with “I’ll ask.” The food was tasty and quickly served at the table. I don't quite understand why dishes on the rather small menu have to be "not available" on a Saturday. The prices are upper middle class, but justified. Cleanliness was great, even in the toilets.

The rooftop bar is definitely an asset to Hanover. The view is simply fantastic, especially when the sun is shining or the sun is setting - a real treat for the eyes. The appetizer, Sushi Surf & Turf, was the best sushi I've tried in Hanover so far. The pasta was also excellent in taste, even if I missed some meat. Overall a great experience that I would recommend to everyone.

The ambience and location is nice in this place… nothing more. The service took 1 hour to serve the food on a Tuesday evening. The food wasn't cooked at all... sushi rice was still hard and not cooked at all, and not a gram of salmon, see pictures. The hamburger is also not through and pink/red in the middle. It's just a place to enjoy drinks and views, nothing more. Finding a parking space is also a disaster

Food was ok, we saw the burrata salad at the next table and it wasn't burrata but rather cream cheese... Very overpriced, it immediately becomes clear what kind of clientele is not welcome there (unsympathetic). However, you also have to keep in mind that it is more of a bar than a restaurant. One serving is probably not enough to fill a normal mortal. Prices are cheeky, service wasn't bad but not good either, but rather in the lower middle range. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our starter. For two with drinks you can quickly reach €80. So for the money it wasn't worth it. The view is okay, but unfortunately the owners (the same ones from 6sinne etc.) can't help that Hanover doesn't have much to offer in terms of skyline.

Very stylish and modern decorated rooftop bar, very large, with an interesting view over the Mittelland Canal. We were there with a large dog and were served very friendly. The mojitos were very good. We haven't tried the food yet, we saw fries and burgers on other tables. We were there shortly after 4 p.m. on Sunday and there was already a lot going on. I think you shouldn't come too late to get a nice table

Das Havn Roof Top ist erst seit ca. 3 Wochen geöffnet. Die Location ist schick, über den Dächern von Hannover Vahrenwald. Es gibt Platz für reichlich Gäste. Leider klaffen hier deutliche Lücken zwischen Anspruch und Realität. Zunächst wusste die bemühte Servicekraft nicht, welcher Fisch bei dem Fish and Chips verwendet wird. Leider Seelachs und kein Kabeljau, wie normalerweise in Restaurants üblich. Und das zu einem Preis, der einem die Tränen in die Augen treibt. Serviert wurde der Fisch kalt und paniert, die Fritten dazu waren das Beste, leider . Das Bier aufs Haus konnte den Eindruck nicht verbessern. Sorry, bei den Preisen erwarte ich auch entsprechende Qualität. Künftig ohne uns.

Top stylisch, bleibt aber weit hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Wir waren an zwei Tagen dort weil wir in dem angegliederten Hotel wohnten. Beide Male wurden wir enttäuscht, sowohl das Essen als auch die Getränke werden auf den meisten Stadtfesten besser gemacht. Die Preise sind dafür so hoch, dass man meint man wäre in einer Top Bar in New York. Einziger Lichtblick ist der mehr als freundliche Service ! Dafür 5 Punkte !

A small suggestion for improvement: a hot sauce was placed on the Spicy Edamame. Since you eat the edamame with your fingers, you could also have small packs of wet wipes ready if necessary. :) it was a beautiful evening with a great view. We will be back!

Food was solid. Ambience was very good. But we made a reservation and were there half an hour earlier, right after it opened. The many tables and seating options were still mostly unoccupied and we were offered exactly 2 tables. One really cramped in the middle and one right outside next to the toilets. Bad organization!

Unfortunately there is no separate elevator for the staff, who blocked the elevator with their boxes of laundry and rubbish and then insulted the guests during prime time, Thursday at 6 p.m. Rooftop sound system with different music: one side DJ, the other from the system, very restless and not harmonious, made us very nervous. Price-performance not optimal, 1x the Budha Bowl plus the carelessly served lemonade in the run-of-the-mill Spezi glass, which wasn't stirred for 27 euros, clearly without a straw (no one needs it either...), well, the whole thing was downstairs Syrup. Good thing it was hot and I was on a diet. Sandwich with the few fries, at an even higher price. Oh well. We are unanimously of the opinion that it is not worth it. View or not... Service well, we had to request the invoice twice. And Concept far removed from a rooftop ambience, very restless in itself. The pictures on the homepage create an expectation that unfortunately is not achieved. We won't be coming back. But if you like it...tastes are different.

We had great food and drinks several times on the ground floor. Service always top! But the new rooftop bar is absolutely amazing. We have never experienced such an atmosphere!

Very beautifully decorated roof-top restaurant with a wonderful view over Hanover. Especially recommended at sunset. The food was a dream - cooked to perfection. The service was exemplary! Rarely have I seen such attentive and genuinely friendly service staff (all without exception)! I have never experienced being asked at the entrance to the buffet whether she should take my glass long enough so that I have both hands free. Very warm and grateful greetings to Melissa, who was simply brilliant the whole evening! Totally recommended!

The service was very friendly, competent and super attentive. The atmosphere is great and very cozy. At first the music was a bit loud. But after a short time, without our request, it was regulated to a comfortable volume. We were very satisfied, would like to come back and would recommend the restaurant to everyone. Conclusion: very good value for money, great service and a chic, cozy atmosphere.

The restaurant, which is part of the hotel, is nice and modernly furnished, there are no tablecloths but due to the type of furniture and the type of room it can be used to have a not very formal environment; we ate two pizzas because the menu didn't convince us to order something different and we therefore chose this way; nothing bad but not particularly good and this is the reason for my rating.

Highly recommended location with good food and drinks as well as cocktails. The two of us came to a table without a reservation or waiting time and were well looked after. The ladies from the service are very friendly and also in the mood for jokes. I would describe the waiting time for the dishes as normal. Price/performance is reasonable.

HAVN v really upgraded for better. The atmosphere, foods r something to look forward to. We enjoyed our stay until d end. However, my friends other for a wine, d wrong wine was served, he complained to d waiter, she apologised, took d bottle away with some wine inside and still charged us for the full bottle, which I found disappointing. Other than that, we enjoyed the time there.
