Hey there, to be honest, your prices are ridiculous. We just wanted something to eat and drink, not to buy the restaurant. Well, good luck to you all, we're out of this mess!

The service is quick and friendly. The decor is beautifully modern with a fantastic view from the 10th floor. The menu is concentrated and in the upper middle range with a wide variety of modern dishes. The beautiful view and atmosphere is a clear recommendation.

I was there today but the employees were so bad, they don't get along at all, I even made a reservation and then we sat at a table and they asked us more times about the laws and didn't respect us at all. I don't recommend that at all

We were there for the first time today and we really enjoyed it. The view is great and the atmosphere is modern. The service was attentive and friendly. It took a while for the main course to arrive and no bread was served at the beginning. The quality was good, but not great.

A location at lofty heights with a great view of Hanover.

My girlfriend and I visited the restaurant for the first time today. You are greeted warmly at the elevator and given a seat. The service was also very nice the whole evening and gave the impression that they were enjoying their work. We liked the food. It is nicely presented but rather expensive. Unfortunately, in the case of the “Key West” dish, it was not noted anywhere that the baked potato had a lot of cheese added to it (similar to a Kumpir). Certainly very tasty for many. Unfortunately for me, who doesn't like eating cheese, it's not very nice. The nice waiter asked if our food was tasty. We said yes, but I pointed out the cheese. He wanted to pass this on to management and say that this should be noted on the menu. An exchange of the potato was not offered. The salad and bread were very tasty. We wouldn't visit the restaurant again for food. However, we can imagine having a few drinks on a nice summer day. The ambience is really nice.

Mega, just mega! From the great view to the positive atmosphere to the delicious food – everything was perfect! This will probably be one of my favorite places for seasonal trips for a drink, and it's right next to my home! Absolutely recommended, you won't be disappointed!

Nice views, nice interior, nice drinks. BUT. Mixed feelings sbout the food. Carpaccio awesome, steaks good, burger mediocre and salad unedible. ”Speciality” in sushi was raw grated carrot. Service poor - waitresses did not know much about the food, they were interested in gwtting people out quickly and they didn’t bring detailed bill before we separately asked for it. Then there were extra line items which needed to be corrected twice.

Not recommended – chaotic service and long waiting times I celebrated my birthday in this restaurant, but the evening was a complete disappointment. My friend had specially prepared a surprise with a cake and a gift that he had previously left with the staff. But the service was completely disorganized: • The starter came after an hour, the main course after an hour and a half. • The cake I ordered took ages to arrive, so my friend finally had to tell me about the surprise - otherwise I would have kept waiting forever. • The coffee came before the cake, the plates for the cake came a long time later. • Even wrapping the cake took forever. The excuse was then referred to the trade fair people - but if you know that many guests are coming, you should be prepared accordingly. When my friend mentioned the chaos, the waitress made a completely inappropriate comment: "Luckily it's your friend's birthday and not her mother's, otherwise I would have a guilty conscience." – Absolutely unprofessional. Conclusion: A birthday should be relaxed and nice - here it was the complete opposite. I definitely won't come back and can't recommend the restaurant.

Our visit to this restaurant was unfortunately a huge disappointment. The food arrived cold, and the service was virtually nonexistent – ​​no one asked if everything was okay or even wished us bon appetit. As a small compensation, they offered dessert, but it didn't make up for the bad impression. We have years of experience in the restaurant industry and were actually planning to celebrate a birthday here. Instead, we were seemingly pigeonholed as if we had no clue. When we complained about the cold food, they offered to "warm it up" – in the microwave or something? The roast beef was tough as rubber, and the explanation that it wasn't a steak was simply absurd. We know what roast beef should be like, and it definitely wasn't. The lamb fillet consisted of tiny mini bites – an absolute disgrace for the price. Value for money? Disastrous. Service? Nonexistent. Unfortunately, absolutely not recommended – a shame! We talked to two girls in the elevator - they actually had the same opinion - food was cold - price-performance ratio was also not right

I've been to the Havn restaurant several times and it's always been a pleasure! The food is delicious and freshly prepared. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly staff - especially Angie, who always shines with a smile and excellent service. The ambience is also great and creates an all-round pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely like to come back and can only recommend it!

Very nice to go out, just not every day. The prices are still reasonable and the portions are just right. The staff is very nice, everything went very quickly, we didn't have to wait long, even though it was very busy on a Saturday. Would come again and again!

First of all, we reserved a table online, which I do not recommend. When we arrived, they told us we weren’t in the system, even though we had the confirmation email and reservation code. Despite that, we were seated, only to be moved again after we had already settled in which was really uncomfortable. The waiter was friendly but had a bit of an attitude. We waited around 20 minutes for him to come to our table, and when he finally arrived, he literally threw the coasters onto the table like a piece of meat which was slightly disrespectful. As for the food, it was way too salty. We ordered a Caesar salad, and the amount of salt was overwhelming. When the waiter came back, we ordered some drinks which were nice— I had a Piña Colada, which was actually pretty good. To be fair, he did ask how the food was, and after we gave our honest opinion, he brought us a small dessert on the house, which was a nice gesture. The place itself was great, but with everything that happened, the atmosphere felt off. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience, and I wouldn’t come back.

I give it 4.5 stars because the heating was very hot. Otherwise HAVN is a very nice bar. Lovely and nice staff with a good atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

I'm really not demanding, I work in the catering industry myself and I know what it's like. But in a restaurant in this price range I unfortunately expect at least friendly and good service. Unfortunately, the service staff seemed rather unmotivated and as if we were unwanted. We had to wait over an hour for our main courses, which unfortunately didn't even taste that good for the price. In the end we waited another 45 minutes for our bill, while the service staff all stood together at the counter, chatting and laughing. It's completely fine if there's not much going on. But then you work through what needs to be worked through from time to time. During our stay, our table was virtually ignored, it was virtually impossible to make eye contact with the service, we had the feeling that people were deliberately looking in every other direction. So in 3 hours we only had one drink... The location, on the other hand, is really beautiful and definitely a highlight, and the winter garden is heated and therefore really nice to sit in. The sushi was very tasty, but the steak was unfortunately not recommended.

Basically very tasty truffle pasta and the cheeseburger was also tasty but pricey. Unfortunately, one particular waitress was very unprofessional and couldn't hide her downward-looking facial expressions, which unfortunately made our visit very unpleasant and often left us feeling unwelcome. There was never a permanent waitress for our table, so we sometimes had to wait 10-15 minutes for a drink. The other girls were nice though.

The HAVN Rooftop Bar is an absolute highlight in Hanover! The stylish ambience, impressive views and first-class selection of food and drinks make every visit special. The fusion cuisine delights with creative dishes, and the cocktails are simply perfect. The staff is super friendly and attentive - the service leaves nothing to be desired. Whether for a special evening or a relaxed drink over the rooftops of the city: highly recommended!

There were four of us and we sat in the winter garden. The food tasted very good and the employees were all very friendly. It's definitely even nicer on the roof in summer. There was a bit of strain on my feet, but the heaters served their purpose.

We actually always enjoyed being there, but the customer will only be well served as long as he sits there and reorders nicely. When we were back a few weeks ago, we sat for quite a long time and ordered a lot and were actually very satisfied. Unfortunately we had left a bag with a few gifts there and called the next day to ask. They wanted to check and contact us again, which didn't happen. If the bag could no longer be found, that would be fine, but you should have the decency to let us know if we asked nicely. Well, Hanover certainly has other nice bars too 🤷🏼‍♀️

Meine Erfahrung fürs Leben: Ich habe überlegt, ob es Sinn macht den Auftritt der Location überhaupt zu würdigen, auch wenn er negativ ausfallen wird, aber auch dass muss mitgeteilt werden: Die Gastronomie-Ehre ist gestorben. Service & Freundlichkeit sind keine Attitüden mehr von Mitarbeitern, denn Gäste hat man nicht mehr nötig. Mittlerweile entscheiden, der Natur entsagte Damen, ob reservierte Gäste Ihren reservierten und vom System bestätigten Platz behalten oder nicht. Meine Geschichte: ich habe ein Googlekonto was ich bereits vor Jahren eingerichtet habe. Dort sind meine Daten vollständig hinterlegt, jedoch benutze ich zur Personalisierung lediglich meine Initialen. Sowohl für Bewertungen als auch für Reservierungen wird dieser Account genutzt - seit Jahren. Bisher auch immer problemlos. Bis Samstag Abend. Auf meinen Hinweis, dass es im System Ausfüllprobleme mit dem automatischen Einsetzen von Daten gab, gab‘ es lediglich die Antwort: „Ja, weil wir sind ausgebucht.“ Daraufhin meine Antwort: „ Kann nicht sein, weil ich konnte sowohl meinen Zeitwunsch als auch einen Kommentar abgeben und eine Reservierungsbestätigung habe ich auch erhalten.“ Nach kurzem Blick auf meine Bestätigung, war die Antwort: „So was nehme ich doch nicht ernst, wenn da kein vollständiger Name steht.“ „Aber die Mailadresse und Handynummer haben sie nicht auf die Idee gebracht, dass alles passt und Sie mal kurz anrufen um nachzufragen?“ „Nein, bei 250 Reservierungen, haben wir das nicht nötig.“ Bähm - „nicht nötig“ … Höflichkeit, Niveauspiegel und der Servicegedanke… alles innerhalb von Sekunden gestorben. Ich habe schon viele Locations besucht, aber so ein unterirdisch, unhöflicher Empfang war bisher noch nie drin. Ich gratuliere dem Team, denn Hochmut kommt bekanntlich vor dem Fall, und aus der architektonisch schönen Höhe wird das ein sehr übler Aufprall. Die Betreiber sollten lieber in ein funktionierendes technisches System mit Fakeaccount-Erkennung investieren - das ist wenigstens Software und verliert nicht an Niveau und Höflichkeit. An experience of a lifetime: I thought about whether it makes sense to honor the location's appearance at all, even if it will be negative, but this also needs to be communicated: the honor of gastronomy is dead. Service and friendliness are no longer an attitude of employees, because you no longer need guests. Meanwhile, ladies who have renounced nature decide whether reserved guests keep their reserved and system-confirmed place or not. My story: I have a Google account that I set up years ago. My data is completely stored there, but I only use my initials for personalization. This account has been used for both reviews and reservations - for years. Always problem-free so far. Until Saturday evening. When I pointed out that there were problems with the automatic entry of data in the system, the only answer was: "Yes, because we are fully booked." Then my answer: "Can't be, because I was able to do both my time request and leave a comment and I also received a reservation confirmation." After a quick look at my confirmation, the answer was: "I don't take something like that seriously if there isn't a full name on it." "But they don't have the email address and cell phone number the idea "No, with 250 reservations, we don't need that." Bah - "not necessary"... politeness, level of standard and the idea of ​​service... all died within seconds. I've visited many locations, but I've never had such an underground, rude reception before. I congratulate the team, because as we all know, pride comes before a fall, and from the architecturally beautiful height it will be a very bad impact. We ate the sushi, it was fantastic! It is advisable to reserve a table before eating, as the rooftop bar was very full the last two times and as a guest you may otherwise only get a seat at the bar. The service was very friendly and we were served quickly. The ambience is stylish and comfortably furnished. Entering and leaving the rooftop bar apparently only works via a large elevator. Waiting times must be expected when arriving and leaving the restaurant. The waiting takes place in the passage to the kitchen, where the service staff has to go through to bring back the dirty dishes and serve the ordered food. It is poorly built and narrow. Finally, I would like to say that it is a restaurant that invites you to linger with a view of the beautiful city in good and bad weather.

The food was so-so. Truffle pasta was actually tasty, unfortunately sushi wasn't and the baked potato with chicken wasn't that tasty either. It's a shame about the prices. We also wanted to have a dish changed, but they apparently don't want cancellations in the till and the price had to be paid. Since the other dish was a little cheaper, there was now a difference. In return you got two drinks “for free”, but you pay the difference anyway. It wasn't nice either. And when we paid, the waiter pointed out to us that he would also be happy to accept tips by card. And at another he left the change in his wallet with the words “that fits, right?” People just don't go to these overpriced bars/restaurants when a restaurant like Balkh in Hanover has MUCH MUCH more to offer in terms of taste.

Jedoch gibt es dort auch diverse andere Sachen, die sich ebenfalls in Optik, Präsentation und Geschmack nicht vom Sushi unterscheiden. Alles wird sehr schön auf dem Teller präsentiert (das Auge isst ja bekanntlich mit) und schmeckt frisch und sehr lecker. Die Portionen sind ebenfalls perfekt, sodass weder Essen übrig bleibt, welches weggeschmissen werden muss. Noch bleibt man nach dem Teller hungrig zurück. Preis-/ Leistung 4/5 Preislich ist das HAVN doch schon teuerer als vergleichsweise andere Restaurants. Bezieht man jedoch alle genannten Faktoren und Punkte in die Gleichung mit ein, ist auch der Preis zwar vergleichsweise höher als anders wo, jedoch vollkommen in Ordnung. Trotzdem muss ich ein Punkt abziehen, da das HAVN doch schon gehobener und teuerer ist als vergleichsweise andere Restaurants und es sicherlich nicht etwas für Jedermann ist. Fazit: Ich würde das HAVN definitiv weiterempfehlen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich, gerade in den Sommer Monaten mit dem tollen Blick. Wir werden hier definitiv weiterhin Gäste sein. Bon Appetit 🤌🏼

Food 5/5 HAVN is known for its sushi. However, there are also various other things there that do not differ from sushi in terms of appearance, presentation and taste. Everything is beautifully presented on the plate (as we know, the eye eats with you) and tastes fresh and very tasty. The portions are also perfect, so there is no food left over that has to be thrown away. You'll still be left hungry after eating your plate. Price/performance 4/5 In terms of price, HAVN is already more expensive than other restaurants. However, if you take all of the factors and points mentioned into the equation, the price is comparatively higher than elsewhere, but it is completely okay. Nevertheless, I have to deduct a point because HAVN is more upscale and expensive than other restaurants and it is certainly not for everyone. Conclusion: I would definitely recommend the HAVN. Great and beautiful location but unfortunately the service is subpar. First you wait 30 minutes until you are served and then the waiter prefers to sit at the table with two girls to have a smoke instead of serving their tables. Truly incredible! HAVN Rooftop Bar! The restaurant is a real asset to Hanover. High-quality furniture in a stylish interior with a beautiful view over Hanover. The menu is manageable and high-quality food and drinks are offered. The staff is courteous and friendly. I feel very comfortable in this location and can recommend it to anyone who needs a break from everyday stress. At the weekend there is pleasant live house music from the DJ. The rooftop bar is very busy and a reservation is important to get a seat. I look forward to the next visit.

The place is really nice and the view is also pleasant. Compared to the city center, it invites you to switch off - at least if you have the right view. The food was OK too. I wouldn't be able to give it 5 stars because the taste was too standard. It was definitely well prepared. The food is good, the view is what counts. Staff - well. They are friendly, but when it comes to billing they are super demanding when it comes to tips. You tip, no question about it, but complaining about the amount and making jokes is really not an option! We don't depend on tips like we do in America - I even understand it to some extent there - but here in Germany we don't have the need to depend on tips. The evening and stay was good in itself, but the aggressive asking for tips somehow ruined something. Unfortunately, we will no longer be making any plans there for the time being.

I was there for the first time yesterday. The ambience was perfect with yesterday's weather. The audience was mixed from old to young. Families also found their place there. We had sushi rolls and a pistachio tiramisú. The food corresponds to the price range. And even though all the tables were full around 7:30 p.m., we were served by Beida, an extremely courteous young lady. Very charming. I assumed it was some kind of 6-sense flair, which unfortunately doesn't appeal to me at all. But I can recommend it. Everything was great and the view clearly rounded everything off. Nice concept keep it up.

Very bad service. Waited 15 minutes, with no customer flow at all, to order a cappuccino. I'd be happy to pay more than 4.20, but the service was good. We left the restaurant without a drink. The food tastes really great, we had starters, burgers and sushi - everything was excellently prepared, seasoned and presented, but the price is completely okay. If we hadn't actively applied for a food order after almost an hour, we wouldn't have been able to order anything. If the glasses are empty, you won't be asked if you want anything else. The burger and fries came lukewarm, I would have liked to complain, but after two hours I was happy to get any food at all. I would have liked to at least have given the service a hint that the food was too cold as a constructive criticism, but unfortunately no one was interested in whether everything was okay. Overall, the staff was really nice and friendly, so I would eat at HAVN again in a heartbeat.

The Havn is comparable to the 6Sinne in the city center in terms of style, furnishings and clientele. The rooftop bar offers a wonderful view of Hanover and you can sit there in a very nice atmosphere. But you should be prepared to see this in the prices. Classic dishes like truffle pasta (21 euros) are always a pleasure, but when edamame (starter) costs 11 euros, tomato pasta costs 19 euros, or the basic version of a bowl costs 18 euros, then you know that you're not just paying for the dish paid for yourself (and the food is no better than in other restaurants with cheaper prices). The sushi is of good quality and nicely presented, but you don't have to pay eight (diagonally cut) pieces of simple cucumber maki for 12 euros, you can get them just as good and cheaper elsewhere. The trick here is definitely to order something “special” and not be annoyed afterwards that you paid too much for something “normal”. (Please note that the descriptions of the sushi dishes are extremely minimal and do not provide any information as to whether they are maki, sashimi, inside-out, etc.) Be careful with the drinks: they are (nice) strong, but it may be that the sugar is missing from the cocktail. All the waiters are friendly and attentive. The Havn mainly appeals to those who want to be seen and appear (rich). Conclusion: a nice location for a photo session and evenings with guests/visitors because of the view on the roof terrace. The food alone doesn't (partially) justify the prices. One more note: the menu that can be found via Google did not correspond to the menu that was available yesterday via the QR code in the restaurant.

We had sushi and the truffle pasta. Everything was top top top, super tasty and quality. Real fresh truffles were also shaved on top. The service was friendly, attentive. The ambience is great. Super comfortable seating. All in all, highly recommended. It's a shame we live so far away. Otherwise we would go there more often. The comment of the youngest (12) after the first bite of sushi: I'm moving in here...

Fantastic view and great ambience, but the food quality is somewhat average. And the price-quality ratio is rather below average (quite high price for rather average burgers and desserts). But very friendly service staff.

Great place on the roof, with a beautiful view of Hannover! 😍 The food arrived so quickly that we were surprised! We ordered a roll and stewed pulled beef with potatoes - amazing. There are places to take photos. There are open areas and closed ones, so basically you can come in any weather. You must reserve a table in advance. The service is pleasant and courteous. There are regular tables, there are sun loungers, rocking chairs, high bar stools, you can sit on a cushion near a shallow pool, in general there is something for every taste and color)) Bottom line: go, you won’t regret it!

Because of my work I am often in Hanover and I come here every time. It feels like “coming home” to me. In my eyes, a home is not a place but the people who make it a home. The service here cannot be described in words. You get comprehensive care and everyone is super attentive. If you want to enjoy a great meal, you definitely have to come here. The food and the ambience always make my evening after work a wonderful experience. Anyone who claims otherwise here has no idea what good gastronomy is. A huge compliment to the whole team. And especially to Beri, Kata and Deniz! You are all so warm!

Wir waren am 20.07. mit 6 Personen zum ersten Mal in der Roof Top Bar. Das Ambiente und der Ausblick waren sehr schön, das Essen durchschnittlich. Allerdings wurde unsere Freude durch 2 Umstände erheblich gestört. Wir hatten einen Tisch direkt am Pool. Dahinter befand sich eine riesige Leuchtwand, die pausenlos Werbeblöcke einspielte. Abwechselnd mit hellen und dunklen Bildern. Die hellen Bilder waren so hell, dass man die Augen schließen musste, um nicht geblendet zu werden. Wenn das alle paar Sekunden passiert, ist es vorbei mit der Gemütlichkeit. Eine Beschwerde bei der Servicekraft hatte keinen Erfolg. Noch schlimmer war allerdings die Tatsache, dass sich auf dem Dach wohl ein Abluftrohr befunden hat, was ständig irgendwelche Fäkaliengerüche zu uns getragen hat. Der Gestank war zeitweise unerträglich. Wir sind dann frühzeitig gegangen. Falls wir nochmals wiederkommen, nicht in die Nähe des Pools.

Four of us ate and drank in this restaurant today. The food and drinks were very tasty. We made a reservation at 5 p.m. and were there around 4:55 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. a waitress came to us and pointed out that the reservations were only for two hours. We were then told that the next people for the table would come in 13 minutes and we had to leave the table now . Another table probably wouldn't have been available because EVERYTHING is reserved. So we had to pay quickly and leave the restaurant. To spend a nice evening with drinks and food in a restaurant, the 2 hours given are not enough!! We had never experienced being thrown out of a bar before and were not very happy about the situation as it interrupted our evening. It would be nice if you were informed when you picked up your table that the reservation is only valid for two hours. Many people don't read the note in the confirmation email about this. The duration of the reservation should definitely be reconsidered!

The food was delicious. The burger tasted good and the fries were nice and crispy. The sushi was delicious too. The view is magnificent. In return, you are happy to accept that the food is 1-3 euros more expensive. In my opinion, the service staff still has to get used to it. In our case, the responsibility of the waiters to the tables was not clear. This meant we had to wait longer between ordering drinks and ordering food. This means the star is less in the overall rating.

The ambience from the view and the furnishings is great. However, the service staff say that not every meal tastes good. The burger was just greasy and there was almost only sushi. The map can only be read using a QR code, which is small and annoying on a cell phone. The music is too loud and no child-friendly dishes. All I can say is that it's more like fast food because it has nothing to do with cooking. It's definitely great as a bar, but the quality and selection of food up there isn't good. There won't be a really good chef there. Remember, not everyone is into sushi or fast food, there are people who prefer quality food

Great rooftop bar. I can't comment on the food, but it looked delicious. The service was attentive and diligent. The view is second to none. The furnishings are great and modern. The drink prices are still okay. Parking on site is sometimes difficult. Free places can sometimes become scarce. But the Rtg light rail. Alte Heide practically stops at the door. I can recommend this bar. Edit: we were here a second time and now also ate something. The sushi is absolutely top. My Bueger was basically okay. Compared to really good sushi, it can't keep up in terms of price/performance. The bun and patty were actually good. The components and everything together were a bit too little for me for €20. Both would have liked to have been a size larger. The taste was okay too. But I have eaten better ones in other (also good and comparable) restaurants. The Spicy Edamame 🫛 were again very tasty. The service was also top the second time.

From the reception to dessert, we had an incredibly lovely evening! Thanks to the whole team, especially Angi, who accompanied us throughout the evening and was there for us around the clock. It is a rarity to be able to enjoy such friendly and warm service. We thank you. The food is also highly recommended. We were particularly impressed by the sushi. We'll definitely be back!

The bar looked great. It's a shame we would have liked to eat there. We stayed at the hotel next door (17.08.24 at 7 p.m.) That's why we tried to get a table without a reservation. The lady at the service said "She first has to distribute the people who had reserved, then she can keep an eye on it." We waited politely. However In times of computers you actually have a clear view😉She distributed the reservations, then someone came who didn't have a reservation and she gave them a table. So some of the other reviews are probably true, that there are differences here. Another guest walked past all of us and briefly reserved a table for 4 people with a waiter this evening🥳. It's a shame. It's a shame.

I wouldn't trust the high rating. Someone takes action against a fair 3 star review and brands it as “slander”.

!!!Danger. Cash payment local. Card payment only from 10 euros. Almost like at the kiosk. Ambiance: -A mix of shisha bar and nail salon. Everything is very oriental/Turkish, Arabic etc. -Lots of kitsch and glitter and leather. -The waitresses are a fireworks display of applied lips and make-up. -Our waitress (approx. 20 years old) immediately informed me that almost everywhere in Hanover you can only pay with a card if you spend 10 euros or more. - From the recessions you can see who wrote the good ones and who wrote the bad ones. The crowd is more like a shisha bar. We didn't try any food. Lt. There are plenty of starters on the menu, but only 4 main courses. Burgers, cheeseburgers, sushi and fish with chips. 2 small cappuccinos €8.40 (okay for the view)

When the sun is shining, it's like a vacation... with a wide view over Hanover! Friendly, attentive service and delicious food. We'll be back!

So this bar is not suitable for families. Anyone who comes with a stroller is not welcome here or you will be lied to that other tables are reserved and will be assigned a place where you won't notice anything of the ambience. We left immediately. I also have to say that we checked their homepage where you can make a reservation, but it doesn't say which seating area it is. That's why it's a disgrace.

The shop is half empty and the service says they can't sit us at one of the tables in the shade...
