Everything at Dean & David in Hanover is always super fresh and delicious! The bowls and salads are crisp and really make you crave healthy food. You can tell they pay attention to quality and freshness – it makes you feel good about yourself every time. My absolute favorite is the vegetable curry with rice, which I often take with me in the evenings after work. During my lunch break, I like to grab a fresh salad – simply perfect for a healthy break!

I can only review the to-go bowls and I have to say I was unfortunately disappointed ☹️ I ordered extra chicken for €3 to go with my €15 (!!!) bowl and it was really disappointing how little protein there was in the bowl despite paying extra… a measly handful and definitely not enough to fill me up. The whole portion was small and didn't even weigh as much as a doner kebab, so in the end I paid almost €18 and still went hungry. Really annoying.

Worst wrap I've ever eaten! Just salad and falafel on it, no sauce and no vegetables.

A very nice, quiet place with good seating. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options. :D The prices are higher than at a snack bar, but the atmosphere and taste are worth it. I'll be happy to come back; that's what a shop should be like.

The food itself tasted delicious, but the closer we got to the end, the more it tasted smelly and my girlfriend and I had pretty bad stomach aches afterward.

The bowl I ordered tasted good, but all 3 additional ingredients were not added, although I even got a receipt with the 3 additional ingredients on it and thus spent 6€ for nothing

The food is incredibly delicious, and the staff are great too. <3 My bag was ripped and the food was ruined, but they made all three bowls again. I always enjoy eating here.

I went to Dean & David and ordered a chicken breast bowl and a wrap. Both were freshly prepared, very tasty, and filling. The chicken breast was juicy and perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and attentive, making you feel immediately at ease. Overall, a very positive experience—I'll definitely go back.

You got lukewarm smoothies and a wrap that didn't taste very good and almost only contained white rice. The kids got mango chicken curry which they actually liked. The tables inside were also dirty with old crumbs and dirt on them

I got some "too good to go" from this store today. And there were several little flies in one of the bowls!?! I haven't seen anything so disgusting in a long time!

Large portions and fresh products, from which our orders were prepared practically in front of us. The staff is polite and attentive, the orders were completed very quickly. For a quick snack in the city, this is a great option.

A self-service restaurant. You can order your food from the vending machine or at the counter and then get a pager to pick it up when it's ready. The atmosphere is cozy and nicely decorated. The bowls are fresh and beautifully presented. The quantity is filling, but you shouldn't go overly hungry. The prices are a bit on the high side, but everything tasted good.

I honestly say this is by far one of the best restaurants in Hanover. I always get salads with extra chicken there and they are brutally tasty. Especially if you're trying to eat healthily, this is actually the place to go. There are few restaurants in Hanover where you can just eat and not feel guilty. This is a cafe restaurant located on Osterstrasse in Hannover that is highly recommended for health conscious people! The main focus is on bowls, salads, and curries, and the good thing about them is that they use fresh ingredients. Especially during lunchtime, it's crowded with locals and office workers, and takeout is easy. It has a strong taste but is not heavy, making it perfect for days when you want to be careful about your health. The inside of the restaurant is stylish and comfortable, so it's a great place to eat alone or have lunch with friends!

Upon request, the dessert was also available fresh in a porcelain bowl instead of in a disposable plastic cup. #sustainability

I don't recommend the chicken roll. This is one cabbage and pita bread + 1% chicken, strange in taste, cold and not tasty. I came across another piece of strange ice cream, an unpeeled tomato. It's very unexpected to get something like this in this establishment. I don’t understand why I can’t add a photo of this dish here 😭😭😭

Unfortunately I have to make a negative comment, although I was otherwise happy to come and cash my Pluxee checks... I've ordered the "Burrata Pasta" special salad 5 times recently because it's delicious: - 1 time I got a completely different dish (oops, happened) - The dressing was forgotten 3 times :( - then this time I got the salad without broccoli, which makes up a good portion of the portion. I wasn't offered an alternative either, but the salad was simply secretly handed out without it (but the employees had whispered that there was no broccoli at the moment). I then asked where the broccoli was... but the employee who had prepared it had already left and the next colleague didn't know what to do. At some point I left because I was too stupid to discuss broccoli. I find that sad and it also makes me angry. The salad costs €17 (!!!). And you don't even get what you paid a lot of money for and it's still being kept secret, that's what annoys me the most :(

During my visit to Hanover for the day with my German school friend from Hamburg, we had the pleasure of dining at David & Dean. Finding a good vegan meal can often be a challenge, but this restaurant exceeded expectations. The Vegan Bowl was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're vegan or just looking for a delicious, healthy meal, I highly recommend David & Dean. A fantastic spot that I’d gladly visit again!

Very tasty food, nice people, recommended.

We had a crunchy chicken bowl and a smoothie which were also very good. The prices are steep, I paid €20 for both. The order to eat on site was a bit strange, but the rest was good so far. There are lots of seating options inside

sweet potato sandwich was delicious and fresh, service was very friendly! Price performance is also possible. The seating area outside is on the street but is okay thanks to the glass.

Extra salad dressing was very thin, something we've never experienced before. Hopefully it was just a blip! Toilet could be cleaner and brighter and there is a risk of stumbling in front of the entrance to the toilet due to the partially removed parquet floor (water damage?)

Der Service ist pro Filiale so unterschiedlich, dass das Kundenerlebnis leider auch extrem schwankt. Missverständnisse bei der Bestellung aufgrund fehlender Deutschkenntnisse beim Personal, diverse Zutaten, die nachmittags nicht mehr vorhanden waren wie z.B Kaffeebohnen!!! Sehr enttäuschend.

Came here for lunch whilst staying in Hannover for the weekend, wasn’t sure what to expect. Really great fresh food made to order and the portions were huge which explains the pricing. Would definitely return

It's ok, but I personally prefer the larger dean&david on the list from the ambience as well as the offer. The oat milk in the cappuccino was definitely not oatly, it tasted strongly of soy.

In itself a great concept with good tasting food and very friendly staff. However, using pressed chicken meat here is a no-go. Yuck!!!

I ordered a curry, which unfortunately contained very few vegetables and was completely cooked until soft. Red cabbage doesn't go well with me at all. Unfortunately, the food wasn't hot. I still thought it was great that you could also choose vegan chicken.

The food was tasty, even if it lacked some character. That raised the rating to four stars. Service quite cool. I now hope that the following scenario is not part of everyday life: 1.5 hours before closing time, the curries were empty and the pots were already cleaned sparkling clean. Someone probably wanted to finish work early. The cleaning lady started cleaning 1 hour before closing. Chairs were placed on the tables next to eating guests. You could still watch as the table surfaces and table legs were cleaned with the same cloth. A no-go.

Great experience. I tried 4 different types of bowls and 2 salads. The ingredients are of quality and fresh. Bowls are very colorful and this can only mean many aromas, nutrients, tastes in the same dish. Also appreciated by children, especially the diversity. We will be back

Portions are small for the price.

Cappuccino and caesar rolls were good and very tasty. One chicken sandwich was amazing, another burnt out and had less ingredients in - both were in the same order. I liked the atmosphere there, plenty of room for the family with the stroller.

Huge fan of salads here 🙆‍♀️. Unfortunately couldn't take complete pictures, was so busy leaving no crumbs. Tried out Dean&David's favourites. David's salad was awesome but my Dad did not like Dean's bowl, said it was okey. Definitely recommended :)

I ordered chicken Caesar salad to take away but the chicken wasn't like chicken meat and I realized that after I got home. Unfortunately the meat tissue wasn't like kebab, but I ate there a few times and wasn't disappointed this time. I think you gave me wrong order.

Healthy, delicious food, great service. During our last visit (food to go) the bag was torn and we spread all the salads on the floor. We received a free replacement immediately without asking. Big thank you again!

We got hungry at short notice when we saw the cards with the selected dishes. We ordered a Hot Chicken Terriaki Wrap. When first served, both wraps were still cold. After the complaint, both wraps were slightly burned and still not warm. An absolute disaster in terms of taste. No seasoning, no sauce, sticky rice and it didn't taste like Terriaki. Maybe they are better with salads, but I can't recommend the wraps.

What can I say “simply delicious”. The salads, bowls, cakes and much more are sooooo good. You feel comfortable here and the little extra requests such as “latte” not being so hot and strong 😊 are simply implemented. A very large and beautiful Dean&David with a toilet and nice staff. The salad was great and the bread was a dream. Unfortunately, the olive tapenade was forgotten when I ordered online and even though I didn't want any dressing, one was packed for me. The halloumi was also freshly fried for me.

Really nice, relaxed restaurant. The atmosphere is chilled and laid back with an airy open space. The food was all fresh and tasted amazing and the staff were really friendly. 10/10 would recommend to a friend

I was particularly impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of the staff - the waiting times are surprisingly short, even at peak times. A big compliment to the trainees who are doing an excellent job. You can tell that they put their heart and soul into what they do. Highly Recommended!

Mango Passion?. I got a glass of orange juice for +5 Euro. The salad was horribly salted. Had some nice experience with the brand in Berlin, but heir is not recommended.

Staff overwhelmed. Ordered, but had to wait a long time and unfortunately the food wasn't good either.

Worst coffee ever drunk. Tasted like dishwater. Cappuccino also very bad because the ladies couldn't manage to prepare some milk foam. If I want a latte, I order one. Never again!!!

Portions not too big but deliciously seasoned. Self-service. Prices a little above average. No own parking spaces, but parking garages nearby. Outdoor area on the street, but screened. Limited suitability for wheelchair users, it is narrow.

Asking for a bag for food to go is an absolute disgrace. I order to go, the food is there for 10 minutes and no one tells me. And then I have to pay 30 cents for a bag in a restaurant. That really can't be true. In the end I still had a long hair in my meal from the lady who prepared it. I'm really disappointed, it was my last time with you today!

Super tasty and diverse food! The service was very quick and you could easily order from a machine. The atmosphere is nice and simple, you could also study well there.

Minimum level of friendliness with hello, goodbye and thank you from the staff. I had a vegan wrap, but unfortunately it was ice cold and tasted like pure lettuce. The falafel balls inside had a good crunch, but couldn't save the structure.

We had a salad with chicken, feta cheese, carrots and pine nuts. Wsr totally delicious. Unfortunately, some people don't understand German very well. I wanted a vola cero or light and the service said yes. I then looked and found out from a guest that they didn't have them

First of all: I'm actually a big fan of Dean and David, the food is really delicious. However, I unfortunately have to write this negative review because I upset my stomach twice in a row in the Hannover Mitte branch. That wasn't a nice experience! I don't normally have a sensitive stomach. Really a shame. Of course I can't judge what caused it. In both cases I ate a bowl with chicken. Hopefully things will get better at some point...

Dean&David is a modern small restaurant. There are great bowls, good coffee and the service is good. Even if it is very full, there are still spaces in the basement. The prices are reasonable. The guests are mixed and you can relax well.

I love having breakfast there; Everything is very fresh and very delicious.
