The service was very nice and friendly. They really tried their best. Unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. It took a very long time, was sometimes presented rather carelessly, and, for example, the fries weren't cooked enough. The currywurst wasn't hot. What a shame!

We were there again about three weeks ago. The food, especially the hollandaise schnitzel, is truly first-class. But the side dishes, such as (very well-seasoned) potato wedges and fried potatoes, are also absolutely fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

I have no idea what the food tastes like fresh on-site. But I can't recommend ordering via Uber Eats. I ordered a Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes and received the food two hours later. The schnitzel and fried potatoes were cold. The Jägersauce (hunter's sauce) honestly had nothing to do with hunter's sauce; it just had two or three mushrooms in it, nothing more. The schnitzel tasted like the cook had just learned how to bread it yesterday. I made schnitzel myself two weeks ago, and it tasted better. I'm rather disappointed with this experience. 😕

They have the best salads in town. There are plenty of vegetarian options, but also XXL schnitzel and currywurst – though we always come here for the salads. The aioli dip with a portion of fried potatoes and the little pancakes for dessert are also delicious. The interior isn't very cozy because the walls are painted a ghastly, garish green and the decor isn't particularly attractive. It's nice to sit outside in the summer. Salads delivered are also good.

We ordered two sambal schnitzel today, and they were very good! They tasted incredibly delicious, and the value for money was excellent. The portion was really generous.

A pleasant and cozy venue that offers an intimate atmosphere, especially during concerts. The owners and staff are all friendly and personable, and the prices are fair. This certainly won't be our last time there!

We are unfortunately disappointed with the restaurant. After reading the excellent reviews, we opted for a tofu schnitzel with fried potatoes, a currywurst with fries, and tofu goulash. The food arrived late, even though we had ordered two hours in advance for a delivery time. The food was also lukewarm to cold. After trying everything, we unfortunately realized that the food was generally lacking in seasoning. The fries tasted bland and had a pastry flavor. The fried potatoes were mostly burnt and unseasoned. The tofu schnitzel also lacked flavor. Furthermore, the goulash consisted almost entirely of tofu and tasted as if an older bell pepper had been used. It also lacked seasoning. Overall, we are very disappointed and will not order any more food. What a shame!

The menu in this cozy restaurant is a crossroads between animal products and vegan or vegetarian options. The service is attentive, food and drinks are prepared promptly, and the prices are reasonable. We felt at home and will definitely return.

Besides the fact that I regularly order schnitzel here via Uber Eats, we had our first regular meeting there today, and everyone was absolutely delighted. Our opportunity as an association for carnivorous plants to establish a regular meeting for people from the Hanover region and cater to the needs of everyone from carnivores to vegans has definitely been a success. We're already looking forward to repeating this ritual every six weeks ✌🏼

Conflict sums it up quite well. We walked in and the waitress immediately gave us strange looks. We were treated with aloofness and rudeness the entire time, while the regulars were treated quickly and warmly. We had to wait an hour for a simple schnitzel with sauce, which didn't even taste good for the price. I definitely can't recommend this place unless you're one of the regulars.

Preferably NO star! So unfriendly and CHILDREN are not welcome!!! You are treated absolutely disgustingly! You should change your child's diaper on the toilet seat!!! The child should sit still and not touch anything! Absolute monster!

Unfortunately, Zwiespalt no longer delivers itself but instead uses Ubereat, for example. The Jägerschnitzel and the sauce were okay, but the fried potatoes were partially burnt and totally cold. Also ordered without bacon and still fried with bacon. Something like this never happened before ☹️

The food is so delicious 600g schnitzel. Cornflakesparnade is great. Fried potatoes are simply amazing. Always my pleasure.

Went there for the first time to eat a schnitzel. Saw it once while walking past and took a look at the map. Now we have finally managed to get there. And we weren't disappointed either. The medium size schnitzel with cornflakes was really big and tasty. Seen in the 1st picture. (I think I definitely wouldn't have made the XL schnitzel.) Service was quick and very friendly. We will come visit you again and eat delicious schnitzel again. Thanks so much. I think the price-performance ratio is completely ok.

I'm not a fan of superlatives but this meal deserves to be called "Excellent". The schnitzel was super tender and of good quality. The fried potatoes were freshly fried, which is unfortunately no longer a given today. The price for 300 grams was completely fair. The owner is in the kitchen and puts a lot of effort into making her guests a great meal.

The restaurant itself needs some renovation. Food and service, really TOP.

Honestly, it was just delicious. You could simply taste that everything was very fresh, lovingly prepared and homemade. I had a vegan Jägerschnitzel and it was super tasty. The service was also so nice and accommodating.

The food was very tasty and the service was great too. The prices are also reasonable for the portions. There were still deficiencies, the toilet cleanliness (room) urgently needs to be improved and repairs also need to be made. And like in every restaurant, the high chairs for children are not wiped down every day, there is a greasy film on the outside of the seat.

Decided on this restaurant by chance because of an appetite for XL schnitzel. Definitely a very good decision. I decided on the 600g Jägerschnitzel. Delicious! The sweet potato fries were also delicious. I will definitely come here again. It's worth it !

Then you definitely have to take a look at the dichotomy, here there are various types of schnitzel prepared for the little ones but also for the big appetites with a good load of side dishes. Vegetarian cuisine is also provided! You will be served quickly here. The prices are absolutely reasonable, and you can expect very friendly hospitality. Gladly again!

The food is good! But….the price list on the internet is out of date!!!! And wrong. I ordered a schnitzel (Zwiespalt, sambal sauce, plus 1x paprika sauce) by phone and paid 24 euros when I picked it up - instead of 17.50 + 2.50 according to the menu. My reference to this was simply commented on as “old prices”. That is not OK! I was offered a drink for the extended waiting time. That's OK. So…ambiguous overall.

My friend recommended the local restaurant to me because he had often eaten very good schnitzels there. So he invited me there. Of course we ordered schnitzel and were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately we had to wait over 1 hour for the food. It's generally not a problem if it takes longer, but as a guest you would have liked a little more attention or a little greeting from the kitchen or something similar. Instead of not paying much attention to the guest and making them wait so long. I come from the service sector myself and in such a case, as a host you should take an offensive approach, which unfortunately didn't happen. The schnitzel itself was well breaded and well fried - but we didn't like the sauces at all, unfortunately they were very thick and probably not homemade. The potato balls weren't seasoned either. However, the fried potatoes were good and tasty. I think it's a shame if you value a good schnitzel, why not sauces and side dishes? The pepper sauce tasted very chemical - you just couldn't define it and unfortunately there weren't any peppercorns in it either. ONLY because we were hungry did we eat. We probably won't go there again...it's a shame

At first glance, the Zwiespalt with its bistro charm seems rather inconspicuous, BUT once you settle down there, it quickly becomes a culinary delight. Schnitzel lovers in particular will get their money's worth here: there are butcher-fresh schnitzels from S to XXL (1.2kg!), delicious starters and desserts and vegetarians and vegans will also find one or two delicacies here. The restaurant owner is super friendly, warm and welcomes every wish, which is then lovingly implemented in the kitchen using the best fresh ingredients. Even if the menu seems a bit small, you still literally find yourself in two minds because the decision is difficult...in the end, on my second visit today, I had a super delicious salad as a combination of the 3 salads on the menu, it really couldn't be more customer-friendly. We don't regret living here, it would be our favorite place😋, but we'll definitely come back...after all, the cheesecake still needs to be tested😉

The name is program! There is delicious food for meat and non-meat eaters! And really well done. The schnitzels are great, are fried properly in a pan and not in a deep fryer, and are homemade. The vegetarian dishes are very imaginative and deliciously seasoned. Everything is well seasoned, not “over seasoned”! The atmosphere may not be entirely cozy, but the owners make up for it with their warmth! Highly recommended!

I ordered from Lieferando. The starter platter for €9.50 was terrible. Selling pepper salami cold cuts as chorizo ​​is not possible! The schnitzel was good, but the wedges were dark brown. The fried potatoes were only fried on one side. Nothing was seasoned. I can't recommend it. A pity!

We always enjoy ordering there. Our favorite is the Schnitzek Zwiespalt with curly fries. Quality and quantity are always sufficient and there is a good size for every hunger. Last time I had mozzarella and was very satisfied. Everything was great for us in terms of price.

Wir hatten 2 Schnitzel (Hollandaise Schwein und Jäger Geflügel). Die beiden Schnitzel waren wirklich sehr lecker. Beide Saucen haben echt gut geschmeckt. Preise waren vollkommen ok und das Personal war wirklich super nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen :)

Das Essen ist immer hervorragend! Genauso der Service und nette Gespräche mit dem Wirt. Auch Sonderwünsche werden dort als selbstverständlich angesehen. Ich schreibe sehr selten Rezensionen bei Google. Hier mache ich nach jahrelanger Zufriedenheit jedoch gerne eine Ausnahme.

Hervorragendes abwechslungsreiches Essen (Schnitzel, Burger, deftige Speisen, Salate, unterschiedliche Beilagen etc.) mit vielen vegetarischen und veganen Optionen (Tofu- oder Gemüseschnitzel etc.). Für alle ist etwas dabei und auf spezielle Wünsche wird geduldig und freundlich eingegangen. Die Getränkekarte ist ebenfalls umfangreich und vielseitig. Der Service ist freundlich, aufmerksam und witzig. Bei gutem Wetter sitzt es sich draußen sehr angenehm. Man merkt, wieviel Mühe sich die Betreiber geben. Macht weiter so, wir kommen gern hier her!

Although this is a vegan/vegetarian eatery, I chose the Currywurst. I’ve not had a lot of this but I have had better. It was nice that they offered non-alchoholic beer. It is the best to sit outside. The weather is great and server was quite friendly.

Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen! Wir waren aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen da und haben sehr lecker gegessen. Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl auf der Karte, das Essen kommt ansprechend angerichtet und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Zudem war die Bedienung freundlich und lustig. Ich hatte den Burger "Gemüsefreund" und fand ihn ziemlich lecker.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und auch preislich völlig in Ordnung. Ich kann jedem die Schnitzel empfehlen. Diese gibt es mit ganz unterschiedlichen Saucen. Das einzige was nicht so gut war waren die Bratkartoffeln und die Pommes.

Hier gibt es für jeden eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten, ob Vegetarier oder Fleischfans. Das Essen war sehr lecker.

Vor vielen Jahren das erste Mal dort gewesen und dann irgendwie "aus den Augen verloren". Schade - denn hier bekommt man wirklich leckere und frische Speisen. Die Bedienung ist durchweg professionell und nett.

Auf das Restaurant bin ich durch den Bericht der Neuen Presse gekommen. Erst hatte ich mich gewundert, warum die Wartezeit bis zum Essen länger war, jedoch als das Essen kam und man den Besitzer angesprochen hat erfuhr man das alles frisch gemacht wird und das muss man sagen stimmt zu 100%. Das Schnitzel war top. Die Panade hielt sehr gut am Schnitzel, das Schnitzel war gut gebraten. Die Bratkartoffeln waren wie bei Mutter zu Hause . Die Inneneinrichtung war gepflegt und sauber , jedoch könnte sie ein wenig moderner sein, das ist aber nur eine persönliche Meinung.

Tolles Restaurant, dass gemäß des Namens sowohl Fleischliebhaber als auch Vegetarier anspricht. Wir kommen gerne und regelmäßige hierher, weil die Gerichte sehr lecker und der Service sehr zuvorkommend ist. Das Ganze zu angenehmen Preisen!

Das Cornflakes Schnitzel ist coole und leckere Idee. Sehr empfehlenswert. Die Vorspeise ist sehr lecker und knusprig. Sehr zu empfehlen.

¡DIOS MIO! He probado mucho schnitzel en mi vida y este fue el top 5. Difícil de hacer una mejor calificación. Personal amable y lugar bastante acogedor. Caminamos a pie desde el centro en 35 a 40 minutos, pero el "tren" se detiene a una calle de distancia. Pero la comida tardó tanto en llegar. Más de una hora. Si nos lo hubieran dicho o hubiéramos conseguido nuestra comida más rápido, sería 6/6, por supuesto.

Alles ist durchschnittlich in diesem Lokal. Es fängt bei der Einrichtung an, die zwar ok ist, aber doch recht billig wirkt. Die Karte offenbart eine kleine Auswahl an Schnitzel, die aber ebenfalls keine außergewöhnliche Kreationen sind. Es finden sich die üblichen Verdächtigen wie Schnitzel mit Zigeuner-, Rahm- und Jägersoße. Das Schnitzel war meiner Meinung nach nicht frisch paniert, sondern TK Ware. Die Pommes waren zu kross gebraten und die Jägersoße hatte einen sehr faden Geschmack. Preislich für die gebotene Qualität auch nicht allzu günstig. Die Bedienung war allerdings sehr zuvorkommend und nett.

Es gab eine große vielfalt an Schnitzeln und ähnlichem „Fleischigem“, aber auch sehr viel Vegetarisches. Sehr gute Currysoße die auch Hausgemacht ist. Die Pommes waren nicht sehr gut, aber auch da gibt es mehrere Möglichkeiten. Neben Pommes stehen auf der Karte Kartoffelecken, und Kringelpommes. Außgezeichnete Schnitzel mit verschiedensten Soßen. Wir mussten relativ lange warten, obwohl es relativ leer war. Das warten hat sich aber gelohnt. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Leider kann ich nicht ganz ein positives Feedback geben. Vorspeisenteller ok, leider hat für mich noch das preisleistungsverhältnis gestimmt. Schnitzel die Größe sehr groß. Das m wäre völlig ausreichend. Das l ist extrem groß. Für den fleischfreund toll. Die Panade mit den Cornflakes trocken und leicht angebrannt. Die normal panierten waren gut. Die Pommes schon sehr kühl und trocken, als ob sie sehr lange auf den Verzehr warten mussten. Die Käsesauce viel zu dick und mächtig schon breiig. Wer es mag ist fort genau richtig. Die Bedienung bemüht und aufmerksam.

Vom Service bis zur Küche waren wir rundum zufrieden :-) Sehr Familienfreundlich, zuvorkommend und vor allem sehr sättigend, auf einen qualitativ hohem Niveau. Einen Besuch wert und einen zweiten auf jeden Fall auch.

Die Portionen waren recht groß, aber sehr fettig. Die mir von Bekannten versprochene Preis Leistungsbalance hat sich mir leider nicht erschlossen. Die Bedienung empfand ich als sehr anstrengend und ein wenig unangenehm. Leider konnte ich mein Essen dadurch nicht genießen! Für mich war es das erste und das letzte Mal in dieser Lokalität.

Die Karte ist relativ übersichtlich, bietet aber sowohl Fleischfans als auch Vegetarieern eine passable Auswahl. Die Schnitzel gibt es von normal bis XL, wobei auch bei groß Wert auf Geschmack gelegt wird. Unschlagbar die Knusperpanade aus Flakes. Die Vegatarier waren von ihren Kohlrabischnitzel und dem Flammkuchen begeistert. Alles würzig und schmackhaft. Da der Laden relativ klein ist, sollte man besser reservieren. Bei Gruppen kann es auch schon mal zu Wartezeiten kommen, die aber noch recht überschaubar sind. Der Servive ist witzig und charmant, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Jederzeit gerne wieder.
