Havel Pizza in Berlin

This was my second order here. Unfortunately, the first one got lost in the system, resulting in a very long wait. However, the restaurant was very generous in compensating for the long delivery time and provided two desserts and drinks. Therefore, no star deduction. The second order went smoothly. The food, in our case pizzas, was excellent both times; we would gladly order again. Since we ate at home, we can't rate the ambiance.

Friendly and attentive staff, good food, and a view of the Havel at sunset—what more could you want at reasonable prices?

I don't understand how an order that's less than five minutes from the store takes over an hour to deliver, and then, of course, arrives cold. If the delivery person takes a little longer to pick up the pizza, at least make sure you synchronize the time you're preparing it, because it must have been sitting there for 50 minutes and then they handed it over. No thanks! This is already the second store that hasn't been able to cook it. I wouldn't order from here again.

Super delicious food! The pizza was super tasty and even came with special scissors for cutting it. The bruschetta was crispy and topped with delicious tomatoes. Service: absolutely top-notch! As soon as there was a wasp in the soda, we had another one on our table: free of charge and super friendly!

We were with you on the evening of September 2, 2025, and I have to emphasize: We had an absolutely personable, attentive, and very friendly waitress. Absolutely fantastic! The food is excellent. The pistachio Nutella spread is simply a dream (!) 😍 The music selection, the interior, and the view are fantastic and gave us a real vacation feeling. 😊

For €2.70 per scoop, I honestly hoped for more than the usual ice cream from Metro – the taste was only mediocre, and the portions were rather small. Unfortunately, the value for money here isn't right. The staff were completely overwhelmed.

I went there for the first time this afternoon and wanted to try a pizza. I sat outside and found it very relaxed and quiet, especially for that time of day on a Monday. Of course, the service, which was very friendly, was prompt. I ordered pizza and wild berry iced tea and chatted a bit with the waitress. When the pizza arrived, I was already very impressed by the look, but the taste was even better. I had to try the pizza carbonara and thought it was really good. I'd love to come back, and next time I'll have a different pizza and dessert. :D

Okay pizza, but it smelled like an ashtray. Filling, yes, but not so much enjoyment. Prices were also a bit too high for the small pizzas with minimal toppings. -- Addendum: My feedback was reported as alleged "defamation" and was to be deleted, even though it was clearly a factual and legally permissible customer review.

The pizza has a firm crust and was baked crispy. The crust is quite wide, so you can taste the delicious dips. The service was also very attentive and friendly. The ambiance, with its exposed concrete, feels clean and modern. The homemade lemonade is also great. The restrooms were also okay. The price/performance ratio seems fair to me. Definitely a top pizza in Berlin.

EDIT: Sadly I ordered last Monday, got it delivered after 1,5h which I could accept if the pizza was good as usual, but it was soggy, I think frozen spinach was thrown on it which left lots of water, Quattro Fromagii was changed and now is served with feta cheese which is unacceptable (Greek cheese on Italian pizza?). Tiramisu made with heavy whipped cream and not mascarpone :( disappointed, especially for those prices (almost 40eur for 2 pizza and tiramisu) I was expecting more. Really delicious, truly Neapolitan pizza, I’m so happy they’re so close to my house. Delivery was fast and pizza still warm and fresh (which is not easy with true Neapolitan dough). Definitely my fav pizzeria in Spandau.

The pizzas are truly outstanding – top-notch in taste and with very good ingredients that absolutely justify the price. Unfortunately, there are significant deductions in other areas: Pasta: For €15, the portion wasn't convincing. The cost of ingredients must have been very low, Parmesan wasn't offered, and the flavor was far below that of the pizza. Furthermore, it was served about 20 minutes before the pizzas – both dishes should have arrived at the same time so everyone could eat together. Service: We would have liked to order something else (e.g., Parmesan or drinks), but the staff was unavailable for a long time. Only after the pizzas were served did someone come to the table again. This seemed inattentive and significantly spoiled the overall impression. Ambience: For a larger reservation (8 people), the atmosphere was rather disappointing. Cold decor, hard chairs without cushions, and not very comfortable – this doesn't match the price. We'd like to highlight the original idea of serving the pizza with scissors – a fun experience that will stay with you forever. Conclusion: We would definitely eat the pizza again, but we'd rather take it out and enjoy it in a nice location. Unfortunately, the value for money wasn't right there.

Really enjoyed the napolitano pizza here. They had a good variety of pizzas with some solid vegetarian options as well. Atmosphere was really nice, with lots of outdoor seating.

We ate outside at your restaurant the day before yesterday. The terrace with its view of the Havel River is a dream. The service, Chantal and Alina, was attentive. The food was excellent. Apart from the blazing sun, everything was perfect (but the restaurant can't be blamed for the weather).

Pizza on tasty "correct" dough, wide choice, besides pizza good choice of dishes, drinks not the cheapest, but not above average. For 3 pizzas of 26 cm and 3 hot drinks (coffee, chocolate, cappuccino) paid 62€. It can be very windy on the terrace - open area near the water.

Although only two of the approximately 10-15 tables outside were occupied, we weren't allowed to sit together at a table for four, which was nicely shaded. The manager had forbidden this, they said. The waitress was also visibly uncomfortable with the request for such idiocy... Well, boss, that's probably how you scare your guests away. But there are plenty of other, much nicer restaurants where you're treated like a guest...

Only ordered so far, but really best pizza in a long time

The food was delicious, and the service was generally good. However, there were a few minor things that a waitress or restaurant owner shouldn't mention. We had two children who were supposed to share an adult portion. So we asked if we could divide it between two plates. They said the chef doesn't like doing that. How can you give two small children one portion and a small empty plate and expect them to be satisfied? When we asked if we could have a juice without chilling, they again replied, "We don't like doing that." This shouldn't happen in the restaurant industry.

I visited "Havelpizza" for the second time today and found the owners to be very friendly hosts. The first time, I was recommended the Spinace Pizza (slightly spicy), and I wasn't disappointed. Neapolitan pizza isn't a World Heritage Site for nothing. Today, I was recommended the Guinness "Hop House 13" lager, and once again, Orhan was spot on with his recommendation. A very tasty, fruity beer. I'll be happy to come back and try some other delicacies...

The pizza was okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is lacking. I don't usually give three stars, but the service wasn't particularly attentive either. The side dishes ordered with the pizza didn't arrive at the table despite two requests.

The pizzas here are my personal benchmark for quality and taste. Incredibly well-made. Even the dough is always perfect, and so far, I can recommend every pizza variation I've ever ordered. The Nutella calzone is also a highlight. The service is also to my taste. Open, personal, friendly, and not "overly professional" or distant. The ambiance is also very nice. Minimalist and clean. Right next to the water and playgrounds for the kids. Only the street can sometimes be a nuisance, but that's not Havelpizza's fault. Overall, quiet and nice. We always enjoy coming or ordering here.

Havel Pizza - 4 out of 5 stars I've eaten there several times and ordered once. Overall, Havel Pizza leaves a positive impression, even if there are minor flaws that shouldn't be overlooked. Food The pizza tastes high, and you can tell they use good ingredients. The dough is excellent, but the toppings are sometimes a bit sparing – especially considering the high prices (between €14 and €18). At these prices, you expect a certain amount of topping. Some pizza creations seem authentic and original, while others don't. One example: the Pizza Carbonara – delicious, but with the hardened egg, it's a bit of a faux pas from an Italian perspective. Anyone expecting pasta will be disappointed – Pasta Carbonara isn't even on the menu, even though all the ingredients are there. What a shame. Order Unfortunately, one order delivered several seriously burnt pizzas. This can happen, but it should have been noticed during the final inspection. Service The service is inconsistent. On good days, you experience friendly interaction, for example, with the (supposed) owner himself. On other days, despite fewer guests, you wait over 20 minutes for drinks – sometimes without even a greeting or menu. This significantly dampens the experience. Appetizers & Desserts The appetizers are too expensive in my opinion, especially when it's unclear how much you're getting (e.g., how many slices of bread are included with bruschetta). This makes sharing difficult. The desserts, on the other hand, are delicious and easy to estimate. Ambience On warm summer days, the view is truly beautiful. However, the seating could be more comfortable – it doesn't exactly invite you to linger. This wouldn't be a major problem if the service continued after the main course and a drink – but unfortunately, it isn't always. Conclusion: Havel Pizza offers good-quality food with minor weaknesses in authenticity (not a negative) and service (a negative). If you're willing to pay a little more, you'll generally get a good pizza in a beautiful location. If the service becomes more consistent and more attention to detail is paid, a 5-star experience is easily possible here. Best regards from the neighborhood!

The Neapolitan pizza here is exceptionally good, nothing like the majority of pizzas you'd find in Germany. I had the pizza carbonara, which I'd never tried before, but I absolutely loved the texture and flavor!

The pizzas had a somewhat inappropriate smoky flavor, and they were very overpriced, especially considering what you get. It wasn't a good experience. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it...

The pizza was cooked to perfection – crispy base, fresh ingredients, and a wonderfully spicy flavor. I especially recommend the "Pizza Havel Spezial" – a true taste experience! The value for money is also absolutely spot on here. The staff are attentive and very courteous, and you feel truly welcome as a guest. Anyone looking for authentic, delicious pizza in a relaxed atmosphere should definitely try Havel Pizza. I'll definitely be back – I definitely recommend it!

Unfortunately, the quality varies. Sometimes the pizza is almost what you would call "Neapolitan," sometimes it's far too hard for that. Additionally, there are often excessive burn marks, which are by no means a typical sign of quality—at least not when they're black marks several centimeters long. Unfortunately, the owner deletes criticism as "personal defamation," so it remains to be seen how long this factual criticism will survive.

Unfortunately, our pizzas, which we ordered for pickup, were cold. I can't understand why, as we ordered on-site and had to wait there. Unfortunately, the pizza was also tasteless. Besides the fact that the pizzas are nothing special, it's also very overpriced. Not recommended. The location is very nice.

A great place to enjoy a good pizza! Very friendly owner, good main courses, and great desserts. The Bolognese pizza is particularly delicious. And after you've eaten your fill, you can take a lovely stroll right by the water ;) My highlight was the scissors for cutting the pizza. Very practical and a great idea!

Amazing restaurant with delicious Neapolitan pizza. Attentive and friendly staff, surprisingly low prices as well! Me and my partner were really pleased with the service. I would 100% recommend it to anybody who is looking for a new spot for a lunch/dinner or drink. Orhan, the owner, is so passionate of what he is doing, he often greets the guests and checks up whether they are happy with everything, and generally a very interesting and open-minded person to talk to. Staff’s English is pretty good as well, so don’t hesitate to try some of the best Neapolitan pizzas in Berlin!

Best pizza in Berlin! I’ve been to many pizza restaurants here and most of them are tourist traps. Havel Pizza is definitely the one. If you’re local - you should definitely know this authentic Neapolitan pizza place - this is a must try. My fiancé is Italian and the taste of the food brought us back home to Naples and it was buonissimo! The atmosphere is very relaxed being a family run business. The owner Orhan was very professional and our waitress Yulia was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back again! Grazie, love from Italy!🇮🇹

Very nicely located on the water with plenty of outdoor space. The service was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the pizza funghi, salami and a very tasty one with burata with cherry tomatoes plus spaghetti bolognese. At the end there was tiramisu and a delicious cappuccino. Pizza very tasty with toppings and a sensational dough. Unfortunately the tiramisu was a little too firm and had a sluggish taste. The interior design is very simple and unfortunately there is little sense of Italy. But that is also a matter of taste. If you love pizza you should come here and try it. Beautifully located on the Havel, a nice pizza restaurant awaited us where we received a warm welcome. After I got over a small edge with my wheelchair, it was time to order. Good selection, not too many and not too few in terms of the number of dishes (everyone will find something). The food was brought to the table after a short wait. I was very satisfied with the taste of the pizza and the bruschetta; I haven't had such good pizza in a long time. Price-wise, considering the quality, it was more than okay. The restaurant was also very clean. We'd be happy to come back when we're in the area again.

The only place in Spandau I know that offers Neapolitan pizza. The pizzas taste great and leave nothing to be desired. The restaurant is simply furnished, which can make it seem a bit cold. However, the location right on the water is fantastic and invites you to linger.

The elevator music is a bit strange. But the service is nice and attentive. The pizzas are really good but the best thing about the place is the ✂️ you get with it🤔🤔😉😀😀😀😀😀

It was beautiful. I went with my big brother and my mother. Inside was warm, pizza was very good and tasty, toilet was very tidy and nice. Our waitress was also very friendly. But I think it was a bit expensive. Well deserved 4 stars :)

We had dinner here on Christmas Eve. The service was 1a. So super sweet, accommodating. The pizzas were amazing, both in terms of toppings and dough, and there were three different dips for the pizza crusts. Simply absolutely delicious. Can only warmly recommend the store. Finally, the delicious panna cotta with berries was free on the house because it was Christmas Eve.

The pizzas are always really tasty, the dough is absolutely fantastic. We often ordered and ate there first, so unfortunately I can't rate the outside area, but I think it's beautiful in the summer, almost right on the water. Staff was also nice and attentive. In my opinion, the ambience could be a bit more comfortable, but it's still nice to sit in. The only thing I really want and can be improved upon is more vegan options. Unfortunately there are only two (pizzas) and one of them is marinara. That would be really wonderful, I would order more often haha!

Subsequent edit due to cheeky answer. The first time, an entire dish was missing, more than just bread. And false promises were made. Something was missing twice in a row. The first time, something nice was promised for the next order. Unfortunately that was missing and also something from the actual order. As an apology, we get a free coffee when we visit, after I said on the phone that we only ever order there. Conclusion, service not good

I ordered from the delivery service via Lieferando, I can't say anything about the ambience, the service or even about the possibly different quality of the food in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the food we ordered was mediocre at best, the noodles in the lasagna were overcooked, those in the second dish were clearly too "al dente" and the whole thing was completely unseasoned. I would have liked the cherry tomatoes in the pasta dish to have been sautéed and not just added raw. Overall, not really bad, but just not tasty and certainly not something you would want to repeat the experience. The delivery was quick and the delivery person was very friendly. However, he couldn't explain to me why a simple lasagna was an 18+ dish ( Lieferando ) and for which I had to show my ID (no joke).
