The ambiance was great, and so was the service. The food was also very good, but the only thing I would improve is that the meat should have a little less salt. Overall, it was very good.

The food wasn't bad. The atmosphere was clean. The waitress, with her blue eyes, was very sweet and welcoming. Thank you so much for your attention. I guess because we were from Turkey, they served us generously. The portions were quite generous. :)

Delicious kebab. You can choose between Berliner, Alaman (German kebab), and Istanbul (Turkish kebab). You can also choose your bread and meat. I had the Alaman kebab; the meat was well seasoned, and the vegetables were fresh and crispy. The bread was okay. They also serve other dishes like lahmacun and pide. It's nicely decorated and offers plenty of seating.

Quite nice, but nothing that will blow you away. The food at Havanda is solid and tastes okay, but it lacks that certain something that makes you want to come back again. The service is friendly, but the ambiance is rather unspectacular. It's definitely enough for a quick bite to eat – but nothing more.

The ambiance is pleasant and the staff friendly. I ordered a doner kebab, which at €9.99 is on the higher end. The sauces and bread were really good, but the "steak meat" wasn't convincing: lots of gristle and quite tough. For that price, I would have expected significantly better quality meat.

Considering that the employees don't even speak German and can't even answer which kebab is the most popular, it's pretty expensive...

A great shop in itself. The atmosphere is good but could be a bit cleaner (the trash can is a little bit dirty). For that price, I would also like table service, at least for serving and clearing. The Berliner doner (sandwich) tastes very good. However, it would be better if the vegetables were all over the sandwich and not just on top, and a bit of lemon would be ideal. But the doner itself is great. I would definitely order it again. The staff are very friendly, and the shop isn't hectic.

I spontaneously decided to try a lahmacun. The price initially put me off, but I was still curious. They served a crispy and fresh lahmacun with a little parsley, four slices of tomato, and lemon. The actual topping barely had any ground meat. Yes, overall, it wasn't bad, but the price/performance ratio (about €7 for one) wasn't right for me.

We ordered a sandwich with meat and döner, but unfortunately the bread was very dry and falling apart. Although the meat was salty and fatty, the filling was unfortunately very haphazard.

Waiting time on a Friday evening at 10pm: 19 minutes for a sandwich... Taste would be good, but only in the first 2-3 bites, then it's just meat and bread!

Overall, a very good experience! A slightly different kind of kebab; you could taste how fresh the ingredients were. High-quality meat, homemade bread, and fresh ingredients in a "Berliner" style. A very bad experience. I ordered a kebab and, without asking, it had spicy sauce on it. I'm not allowed to eat spicy things, and I threw up afterward. Absolutely irresponsible, never again!

This is the best kebab I have ever eaten in my life!

The bread isn't typical doner bread, but I liked it very much. The meat is good too. The rest is okay. The contents are very unevenly distributed. At the beginning, there's just salad and sauce, and at the end, just meat. You never get a bite with a bit of everything. The sauce was so minimal...after the first three bites, there was no more sauce left. €10 is too much for that, personally. I probably won't be having it again.

We stopped at Havanda in Frankfurt Germany for a snack. We got the chilli chicken Durham. Portions are superb, quite big. The staff are super friendly and the food delicious! A must try while visiting Germany!

I've been buying döner for two years but I've never seen a döner as bad as the last one I bought. I won't buy it again and I won't even go there. It was dry and crumbly, just like the meat from the döner kebab shop. The meat was dried out and had no taste. This was the first time I bought döner kebab from the air. The previous ones were better.

Order processing was a bit chaotic at lunchtime, but otherwise everything was top-notch and delicious. A definite recommendation.

I don't quite understand the criticisms of many others. The selection is extensive, and you can customize the kebab to your liking. It tastes very good, although there are certainly better versions available in other areas. I personally didn't experience any of the frequently mentioned complaints after eating. One minor negative point is the drinks, which are a bit too small and are designed to be refilled by yourself. Overall, though, it's a recommendable kebab.

Too expensive, there are better doner kebabs

The best Istanbul-style kebab I've had in Germany. I come here often and eat most of my food here. As someone who lived in Istanbul for many years, I can honestly say: Havanda's kebab is unrivaled in Germany for me. Portion, taste, and quality – this place deserves its 5 stars in every respect.

The food was delicious, but there wasn't enough salad for four lahmacun. Therefore, I deducted four stars. When I asked, I was told that was the maximum I was allowed to spend. I found this statement very rude. Four lahmacun cost €24, so there should have been enough salad.

The checkout situation is often terrible; I've turned around several times and gone somewhere else. I haven't been there in a long time, and the quality is at its lowest. I really regretted eating there.

This döner kebab was the closest in taste and appearance to the one I've had in Turkey in Germany. The portions were incredibly filling. The lahmacun was also delicious. The place was meticulously designed and very stylish. My wife is normally a picky eater, but she really liked this place. She works nearby, so she goes here almost every day. I hope they maintain this level of quality.

Tho we orderd the plate with rise (it was rice on the block as well) we got it with fries, but still I think this is the best Döner you can get in Frankfurt. Big portion, good quality, the food is really fine overall. I missed some tissues and extra cutlery. Can recommend

The cleaning staff were rude and unfriendly. Everything else was fine.

Unfortunately, my first visit to this restaurant was not a good experience. The man at the cash register (older with gray hair) – presumably the owner – was very rude to me. As a guest, I expect at least respectful treatment, regardless of my mood. This kind of attitude leaves a bad impression and discourages me from returning. Anyone who places such little value on politeness shouldn't be surprised by the negative reviews.

So, we went to Havanda in Frankfurt today because we wanted to try the doner kebab there. As tradesmen, we travel around Frankfurt every day, so we've tried almost all of the competition, and unfortunately, I have to say that the Berlin doner kebab for €11.95 was a huge disappointment... the place is beautifully made and invites you to try something there, but... The taste is more reminiscent of a very poorly baked doner kebab. The bread tastes like a baked ciabatta from Ja!! that was just defrosted but forgot to put in the oven. And the amount of meat was also abysmal. And the doner kebab was cold inside! Conclusion: Walk 3-4 minutes further to Tonbul and get a kebab for €2 less, which tastes absolutely amazing and contains about twice the amount of meat. We give Havanda 4-5/10 points.

The food was okay. I wouldn't wait another 25 minutes for that. Not only was the wait disrespectful, but the employees at the counter were also disrespectful. But I also think it was because the rush was too much for a few employees...

We always enjoyed eating there, but the last three times have been a disappointment because the service and quality have declined significantly. -Beard hair in the plate -Rice as hard as a rock -The women are constantly stared at by the staff behind the counter.

Turkish shawarma restaurant, if there are more than 5, they deserve it. We had chicken and meat shawarma, the taste was amazing, the size was large, and we were surprised by it. Whoever comes to Frankfurt, don't miss it.

The gray-haired man at the cash register was very unfriendly and arrogant; I wouldn't recommend him at all. The entire business is going down because of one employee like that. We had to repeat things ten times, and he was unnecessarily yelling at the other employees and customers. It was like being in a middle-class country where the boss yells at everyone unnecessarily.

Unfortunately, the meat was completely salty. The shop, seating, and tables were dirty… what can I say? I even found a cockroach crawling on me. A huge disappointment after the recommendations.

I'm very sorry to say that the restaurant I've been going to for two years has completely deteriorated. Initially resembling an Ankara döner kebab, the meat, which was odorless and likely 100% beef, has now become overly odorous and inedible, with a thick flavor. I don't know if they've started serving small livestock or if they've changed where they source their meat, but it's terrible. I could barely finish the food on my plate. Please fix it, and if you do, please share the information, as I won't be coming here again, and I'm sure many others won't either. Our family was very surprised and saddened.

We'd heard a lot of good things, but also some bad things, about Havana, so a week ago we wanted to form our own opinion. There were three of us here, but we initially ordered two doner kebabs, one with chicken and one with beef. The third person wanted to try ours first before spending €10 on the meal. When ordering at the checkout, we wanted to change the ingredients on one of the doner kebabs. Unfortunately, this wasn't possible, but it wasn't a big deal. The portions are large, but the flavor wasn't convincing. The beef tasted very strongly of animal meat, as if it were lamb. We couldn't finish it. We threw out almost all the meat. The chicken doner kebab was a bit too salty, and the meat a bit fatty, also a disappointment. The third person tried each doner kebab and was happy to have saved €10. Since you order at the cashier, then wait at your table with a pager for your food, pick up the food yourself, and clear away the dishes yourself, there's no real service, so we can't rate it. Nevertheless, we're glad we went here so we can form our own opinion. However, we won't be back. What a shame!

I was there today and ordered a chicken kebab. Unfortunately there wasn't enough meat for the €10 price. I only got to the meat in the last four bites. I can't recommend it, unfortunately.

The chicken bowl, advertised as featuring grilled vegetables, hummus, etc., consists of 90% lettuce and white rice. And the very little meat was tough and crusty. I'd rather pay more and not get a "cheap bowl, basically." Although €13 was already too much for white rice.

Waited over 30 minutes for a Dürum and not a word of apology... The quality of the food isn't worth the price either. ..

Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly here. The last Ayran (from the well) was so sour and undrinkable/sour that we stopped drinking it.

The doner kebab used to be excellent here. Now, the beef doner kebab only comes from the middle (poorer) skewer, where the meat is already cut and lying in a pile under the skewer. The meat was accordingly cold and didn't taste good. For a doner kebab, it's better to go to Harput around the corner. The lahmacun, however, is good.

It's a top-quality döner restaurant, that's foremost. The meat döner resembles the leaf döner we know in Türkiye. The sauce is incredibly good, and for some reason, it doesn't go too well with the white cheese. The fries are €4.00, yes, they're expensive, but the portion is also large. Since you usually get them as a side dish, it's more than enough. The soda and drink sizes are quite adequate, and the restrooms are clean. I spent €14 for the Chicken deluxe + Coke + Fries. This is a must-see döner restaurant in Frankfurt.

The meat is good, but the döner kebab must have tomato sauce, otherwise it becomes like straw.

One of the best doners I've seen

Ordered takeout. After waiting 25 minutes and asking how long it would take, I finally got it. It wasn't that busy: the person who had ordered before me had already received their food, eaten it, and left. I ate it at home 15 minutes later: the food was only lukewarm and the fries were rather cold. I can't say much about the atmosphere. However, it beeped every few seconds to let people know they could pick up their food. I won't be going there again.

When entering the place, before ordering, I asked if the tortillas for the Doner were made on the spot or were ready-made, they said they were made fresh, which is not true, but the meat is packed in ready-made tortillas. The Doner is greasy, and not worth 9.90, I will never eat there again...

The best kebab in Frankfurt, but the worst staff.

The colleagues who prepare the food are really nice, and the food itself is also very good. The cashiers, however, are usually very unfriendly and exude a "not in the mood" attitude. No smile, no "please/thank you," and the receipt is just thrown at you. This feedback refers specifically to the employee wearing a hat who was working at the checkout on July 4, 2025.

First time here at Havanda and I’m impressed! The food is delicious, especially the meat and the portions are generous. Service was fast, and the staff were super helpful, especially Nabila and Arafat. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Ordering went pretty smoothly overall, although the rush at the food counter was a bit chaotic and resulted in a wait. The service was nevertheless attentive and friendly. The shop offers a large seating area on two floors, which is particularly convenient when it's busy. The kebab itself tasted good – fresh bread, decent meat, and arugula as a topping. Only the sauce I chose didn't quite suit my personal taste. At just under €10, the price is well above average – so it's not really a quick everyday meal for me, but it's definitely okay for a quick snack.

I've already tried quite a few things from the menu. I actually only go for the lahmacun and pide now, as they're really delicious. I once had a doner kebab with vegetables, and unfortunately, the meat was quite oversalted, which was probably due to the feta cheese. The next time, we had doner kebab in bread without cheese, which tasted good and wasn't oversalted. I guess I was just unlucky that one time. The interior is like an upscale self-service fast-food restaurant, which isn't meant to be offensive. It's just nothing special, more average. There are a lot of customers, which also means waiting, and the staff unfortunately can't keep up with cleaning. They usually don't clean until you're already seated at your table, waiting for your food. It's better to eat on the first floor, as it's cleaner there. Fresh ayran from the ayran fountain, and delicious pickled green chilies are on every table, which I really like. Conclusion: Good kebab, but there are better ones in Frankfurt, but you can hardly find better lahmacun and pide.

I'm skeptical about beef doner, so we got lahmacun. It was very tasty and fresh.

The bread is absolutely terrible; it's more like a sandwich. Out of the 10 times I've been, it was a kebab with plenty of meat, but the rest was just salad in the bread. It's truly a disaster that they're so stingy with the meat. In the end, you pay 10 euros for a piece of bread with salad and sauce. That was the last time I went there, and I advise everyone not to eat there.

We just ate at your restaurant. At first, everything was fine and the service was very friendly. Shortly after we received our food and were still eating, a man named Hasan came up to us and said we had to leave because he wanted to finish work and had to catch his train. So we had no choice but to leave our food and leave. I think that's a disgrace and I even complained to him on the spot, but he didn't care. I would change your policy a bit so that this doesn't happen to other guests and Hasan can catch his train, or Hasan simply gets paid for his overtime.

We had a Berliner, an Istanbul, and a Trilece on a Friday evening. The Istanbul was very dry. The Berliner had some strange-tasting pieces of meat. We didn't finish either. Only the dessert was decent. All in all, not a great tasting experience. I doubt we'll come back.

The staff were a complete disaster, they couldn't even speak German, and the food wasn't anything special; you'd expect much more for the price. The toilets were a disaster; no paper, no soap, everything was empty.

This döner restaurant is not like the cheap, sauce-soaked döner restaurants we are used to, the meat is really high quality and delicious, it resembles the döner in Türkiye, it goes incredibly well with white cheese, it is a place you should definitely try when you go to Frankfurt.

The doner kebab was of marginal quality. The kebab strips were cut significantly too thick and tasted rather unconvincing. The side dishes also seemed bland overall, and the pepperoni was of poor quality. The drinks offered were extremely watered down. Only the fries were tasty.

On the recommendation of a colleague from Berlin, we went there together for a kebab. They offer various versions – we had the Berlin kebab, which he said is the only one in Frankfurt that's comparable to what you can get in Berlin. Pros: It was a real ship. Really heavy and thickly filled. The sauces (herbs + garlic + spicy) are typical of what I know and love from Berlin. It had fried vegetables and steak. Feta cheese is also included in the price. Instead of a refund, we just got the third one. And €3 for a can of Uludağ is pretty steep.
