Everything was great, the only problem was that the toilet was two floors higher. Bad for older people to commit.

We celebrated our wedding there. The service was great and all requests were taken into account and everything was implemented as agreed. The food was delicious and the portion was really good. Clear recommendation

Celebrated an 85th and 86th birthday there. It was ok for the age group.

We were there with 8 people, of course I expected that the table in the restaurant was reserved. Instead we were assigned a table on the terrace. That was quite pleasant on this warm summer evening, but the risk of insects taking part in the meal is great. In addition, smokers at the next table affect the enjoyment. The food was of good quality, a little too plentiful, but adequate for people who were very hungry. I would give the service a 4.5 points. What was unacceptable was the fact that the toilets were closed and the only toilet on the second floor could only be reached via 41 steps.

This time we were in the beer garden. It was very nice. We all enjoyed the food and the service was very attentive.

The food is solid, the prices are reasonable. The terrace facing the park is very nice, and the atmosphere inside is also nice. The service is really very nice and friendly, even if there are sometimes waiting times when it's busy.

The Haus Martfeld restaurant is located in the former Schwelm Castle in the middle of a park. The location is impressive with a Balkan kitchen; we sat on the terrace here twice during a rehabilitation stay. The service is attentive and friendly. If the restaurant were close to home, we could sit here more often.

The food was very tasty and more than enough. I had a burger with fries. We recommend. The table reservation worked excellently. No waiting or anything like that. Nice interior. You can then take a walk in the adjacent park.

We celebrated my birthday at Haus Martfeld. Instead of the reserved table, we found a large table in the beer garden. The order was made quickly and the drinks came quickly too. The food was served at the same time and very warm and everyone enjoyed it very much. It was quite busy and because of that (or because we were sitting in the corner) the service wasn't really attentive. We could have been sold more drinks, but even with waving it was difficult to attract people to our table. We ordered dessert and left with a fair bill. We'll definitely come here again.

Home-style and Mediterranean cuisine with a very good price/performance ratio. Friendly service and great atmosphere. Changing seasonal additional menu, for example with special citizens or open potato variations.

It's rare for people to rate good restaurants - that's what I noticed when I wrote my opinion about another restaurant in Schwelm for the first time. I would like to change that and would only like to make recommendations for the Haus Martfeld restaurant. We have been there over the Christmas holidays, for my birthday and other occasions and it has never disappointed. Neither from the mentality of the service nor from the food you can eat there. Wonderful ambience, with service that can laugh and sweeps over the package with a good mood that is fun to watch. Anyone who is in Schwelm. Go there and leave your hard-earned money there. You will not regret it. Even my vegetarian partner always got full there with different combinations and ideas from the service. It couldn't be better and thanks to the team.

Very tasty and fresh food. Above all, the service and speed are very convincing! We were there on a day when it was quite busy and still had our starter 10 minutes after ordering and the main course another 10 minutes later. But none of this affects the quality. It remains excellent! Overall a very good restaurant. It could only be a little quieter when it's full ;-)

The restaurant was recommended to us, but I have to say: once and never again! Despite reservations, we were placed in the last dark corner. The atmosphere feels like a train station. The quality of the food was okay, but each of the dishes was tasteless. If I quote such prices, I have to deliver accordingly. The price here is in no way proportional to the service provided.

Thank you for a wonderful, perfect first communion celebration. We didn't miss anything. The food was plentiful and delicious. Despite ordering a la carte, 23 people received their food at the same time and no one had to wait. Not every location can do that. The atmosphere is always great anyway and our table in the winter garden was beautifully decorated with the decorations that we were allowed to hand in the day before. The staff was super nice, attentive and organized. It won't be the last celebration here.

We sat on the upper floor and the atmosphere was really great. The service was really very friendly and attentive. As for the food, the portion was big enough, there were three of us there and we enjoyed it. Price performance is really good. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice restaurant in a water castle in the middle of an idyllic garden, beautiful winter garden, rustic interior and outdoor area inviting to relax. The food was very good and didn't take very long. The waiter was very nice and professional. The dog was also welcome.

Very tasty food, all dishes as you wish, exactly to the point, why only 4 stars, if you put your food on a cold plate it cools down quickly, unfortunately. Ambience, yes, you can feel good when ...... your table neighbors light up one cigarette after the other, and at some point you won't like your food anymore. The service was professionally competent and gave us very good advice. Dogs are also welcome there.

Very nice restaurant with wonderful food and nice staff. In particular, we had already eaten the stuffed pljeskavica in several restaurants - but nowhere else has it tasted as good as here. Big recommendation.

There was a pepper schnitzel with potatoes for 17.90 euros without any other side dishes! So far there was also a salad. That would have been abolished for cost reasons, said the waiter. So no visit recommendation.

Nice location - packed - that's why a table was booked! In the end, we waited 50 minutes for the table we ordered because the waitress was unable to tell the guests at the table to stop! The food is very tasty and the portions are generous. Very friendly, young staff. Always courteous and attentive without seeming intrusive. The restaurant is really nicely located and has a stylish ambience. After dinner, you can take a short walk in the castle park. In summer you can also sit outside near the fountain. Since it is usually quite full, you should definitely make a reservation in advance.

Sehr schön, sehr lecker und reichlich. Preise angemessen. Nicht zu teuer. Freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Leider sind die Toiletten nicht für Rollstuhlfahrer erreichbar ansonsten Behindertengerecht.

Im Restaurant Haus Martfeld kann man als Gruppe, als große Gesellschaft oder auch allein sehr gut essen gehen. Auch wenn viel Betrieb ist braucht man nicht all zu lang auf das Essen warten. Die Auswahl der Gerichte nach der Karte ist sehr umfangreich und für jeden etwas dabei. Bei schönem Wetter kann man draußen auf der Terrasse essen. Daran hat sich bisher nichts geändert. Heute habe ich als Einzelperson am 2 Weihnachtsfeiertag ohne Anmeldung einen Platz zum Abendessen bekommen. Ich wurde ebenfalls zügig und freundlich bedient.

Die Qualität der Speisen hat etwas nachgelassen. Auf dem Grillteller war immer u.a.ein Schweinerückensteak was jetzt durch ein viel zu fettiges Nackensteaks ersetzt wurde. Ein Nackensteaks muß ordentlich durchgegrillt sein dann ist es auch nicht so schwabelig fettig. Außerdem wurde der Schnaps aufs Haus, selbst auf Nachfrage nicht ausgeschenkt.

Zuvorkommendes Personal, schönes Ambiente. Leider waren die Toiletten defekt und man musste in den dritten Stock. Für Menschen mit Geheinschränkungen nicht sehr geeignet. Essen war sehr stark überwürzt. Leider keinen Beilagensalat mehr vorab wie sonst gewohnt. Portionsgröße mehr als genug!

Leider kann ich nur 5 Sterne vergeben denn eigentlich hätte jede Kategorie 7 verdient. Wir waren 4 Personen mit 3 Vorspeisen die wie uns geteilt haben. Wer Pilze und Knoblauch mag, sollte unbedingt die gebratenen Champignons probieren. Das Essen war unglaublich gut und das Personal, aufmerksam und sehr nett. Wir haben sofort in der Familie Bescheid gegeben, dass es uns sehr gut gefallen hat um unser Familienessen zu planen. Auch für Feiern eine wunderschöne Location.

Leider wurde wir diesmal sehr enttäuscht. Das Essen war lecker. Aber da der Beilagensalat gestrichen wurde und extra bestellt werden muss sind die Gerichte mal eben versteckt um 4€ preislich gestiegen... Und für 2 Putenmedaillons mit etwas Reis und Soße sind 17,90€ schon happig. Satt wurde man von der Portion leider auch nicht... war früher anders... Zudem wurde die Karte auch sehr zusammen gestrichen...

Die 6 Gerichte waren also ok aber insgesamt eher enttäuschend
