Good restaurant, very attentive service.

Yesterday evening we visited the Ledendecker house in Dortmund-Holzen. We were served by Birte - very courteous, attentive and funny, really recommended! 👍 The furnishings are a bit old, but still very clean. The food was excellent - house pan, pork loin with fried potatoes, and lumberjack schnitzel! For dessert, Birte recommended the *bent chicken* = eggnog with cherry genever. 😋 Thank you for your hospitality, we will definitely be back.

The food tastes very good and there is something for everyone on a nice little menu. I had the lumberjack schnitzel. that was top and plentiful. Birte served us, she was great and the service was top notch. Anyone who has such employees can count themselves really lucky. Thank you, we would love to come back

Absolutely recommended if you value home-style cooking. I had the seasonal venison goulash and even though the first bite seemed a bit sour, it was fantastic afterwards. I was also able to try the pork loin and the vegetable stir-fry. In the first case, the hollandaise was straight out of the bag, just like my spaetzle, but of course that can't be avoided in overpriced star restaurants. Anyway, the taste is good. The vegetable pan went down like oil (and came out again later), which was because a lot of it was used. But that can easily be forgiven if you mention that everything was cooked to perfection and still had a bite. The fact that the mushrooms were pre-stewed and therefore had an enormous amount of flavor shows that you know what you are doing in the kitchen. The service was very attentive and friendly, at times a tiny bit too pushy for my taste, but that's just me and my basic distance from people, I think. However, dessert is also "home-style", which means that with a little help you try to get something that looks like more out of the given Fürst Pückler mixture. The apple crumble is said to have been very tasty, the brittle cup was just a brittle cup and was noticeably flattened, especially with the vanilla ice cream, as it was a cheap brand with a rather artificial taste. But I ask you not to attach great importance to this, because out of 12 people, only 3 ordered dessert because of the portions previously served and that is the most important thing for me in a middle-class house. The charm of the ambience with its antique beams and the generally robust wooden elements cannot be denied and is not diminished even by the toilets in 50s beige gray, which initially seemed a bit scary, as they were absolutely clean and odor-free and even one that I had previously only known from legends There were vomit basins, which made every first trip to the toilet an educational trip into the house's past as a village bar. Overall, I would go there again at any time and can recommend the same to anyone who feels at home between kale and crusts. The perfect break from the stressful everyday life of the city, because you can really feel good here for a while without any worries!

A cozy restaurant with an attractive menu and an additional seasonal daily menu. The team is very accommodating and friendly. A big thank you to Birte. There were 20 of us seated in the fireplace room. Both the food and drinks were served quickly and always with a beaming smile. For some it was the first visit but not the last.

The food is delicious and plentiful. The young lady from the service has her tables under control, is very friendly, attentive and quick. From ordering to payment, everything went well. We'll definitely be back.

We were there with friends. The atmosphere makes a cozy impression. A weak point are the benches, which are barely padded and therefore quite hard. Sitting for long periods of time can be a problem for the orthopedic surgeon. Please improve it again. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. That's how it has to be. You feel in good hands there. Full marks. Well, now about food. A leek soup, a tomato soup and a mixed salad were ordered as starters. The soups had a round taste and were very tasty, but the consistency was more like a sougo. It was more mushy and not soupy, but it didn't matter, they tasted excellent. The salad was not washed properly and was therefore slightly sandy. Now to the main courses: Schnitzel with chanterelles and fried potatoes was ordered twice, as well as a grill plate consisting of a beef steak, small pork steak and chicken or turkey steak with rice. The grill plate was described as very tasty. And now to the schnitzels: Unfortunately, very dry, in some places already very dark and really borderline. The side dishes (chanterelles and fried potatoes) were okay. Our suggestion: Please cut the schnitzels a little thicker so that they retain their juiciness. Better something smaller and juicy than big and dry. However, we recommend it and will come back. This is mainly due to the friendliness of the staff. But please, check our criticisms again.

The service was super friendly and attentive. There was also a noticeable number of staff present. We had schnitzel with pepper sauce, croquettes and beans and a crust. The schnitzels were a bit dry and the sauces were unfortunately much too thick. But the taste was okay. The portions were too big for us, but opinions differ 🤗. There are enough parking spaces available. The interior is not modern, but it is lovingly designed, clean and very tidy, and there is also outside seating.

Top quality of the food and good food on the plate! There are plenty of free parking spaces directly at the restaurant. It is best to let people with walking difficulties get off in front of the entrance as the parking lot is cobbled and partly sloping. Access to the restaurant is completely at ground level and there is enough space between the tables for a wheelchair or walker. You are greeted with a smile and accompanied to the modernly set table (with fresh flowers and candles). The atmosphere is rustic with lots of wood. There are tables with benches in niches and free-standing tables with pleasant, comfortable chairs. Very well put together menu, starters, burgers, salt/bowls, schnitzel, steak, fish, dessert, children's menu. Good selection, something for everyone without the menu being too big. Service is guest-oriented and quick. Our food was freshly prepared, high quality ingredients and perfectly seasoned. Simply delicious here! I find the price to be reasonable to reasonable as the portions are generous. Went home full and happy!

The meat (pork fillet) was unfortunately fried to death and the vegetables were unfortunately only frozen goods.

Great menu, not too much but something for everyone. A little tip: take the Schwerter mustard (lingonberry mustard / honey mustard). The food was fantastic and tasty, the prices weren't exorbitant, even the smaller ones.

We were there with five people and it was a nice experience. The food tasted very good (we had burgers, schnitzel and noodles) and the service was excellent.

We were there for the first time yesterday, we won't be going there again, unfortunately the food wasn't that great, because with a grilled plate at this price we weren't served any salad at all, it's very strange, every small restaurant offers it, even if only small, but at least there was salad. Very unfortunate.....

In netter Wohlfühlatmosphäre kann man hier sehr lecker essen. Gute Getränkeauswahl, aufmerksame Bedineung, sehr sympathisches Leitungsteam.

It was an absolutely successful evening with you. We have often been guests of your grandpa and uncle, but what we have experienced now was absolutely top class and is certainly up there with well-known restaurants in the area. Both the service and the menu with a selection of well-chosen dishes are hard to beat and the rating “home cooking” leaves no expectations unfulfilled. In a group of 8 people with different and extremely critical tastes, no one was disappointed, but rather extremely positively surprised. Service is slow, expensive store

We have enjoyed being guests here for over 25 years, we always feel very well/friendly and the food is excellent. We can only recommend it to everyone, but you should reserve a table in advance, especially on weekends, otherwise it can happen that you don't get a seat spontaneously. We will be happy to continue eating here in the future.

We had the house pot which we really enjoyed. The service was attentive and quick. The atmosphere is very rustic. Some would say old-fashioned. I don't think we sat in the main dining room. But it was ok. The food came relatively quickly and was really plentiful. The ingredients were fresh and not frozen goods. You should probably make a reservation because it was full. We would come here again just for the service and food. If you prefer to eat chic, you're in the wrong place here. But absolutely ok for a casual evening.

Ich war erstaunt über den Service nach der kurzen Eröffnung

Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort. Man sollte unbedingt vorher reservieren. Der Service ist herzlich, das Essen köstlich, das Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Super nette Bedienung. Kompetent. Schnell.Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Waren sehr zufrieden! Die neuen Chefinnen sind sehr freundlichen und wissen was sie da tun und werten den Laden auf . Das Essen ist gutbürgerlich und die Schnitzel sind frisch und sehr lecker . Preis Leistung sind perfekt. Nur schade das es auch andere so befinden und wenn man nicht frühzeitig reserviert halt kein Platz mehr bekommt . Aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Haus Ledendecker eine Legende in Do-Holzen.Schön das es in Familienhand geblieben ist.Wir waren gestern der Besuch im Gasthof. Bei lecker Essen und trinken verbrachten wie einen schönen Abend.Speisekarte top,für jeden was dabei.Ein Blick in die Runde bekannte Gesichter,die die Gastwirtschaft wieder nutzen.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mädels macht weiter so!

Ledendecker hat von seiner ursprünglichen Gemütlichkeit nichts verloren. Das Essen, der Service und die Freundlichkeit ist top. Immer gerne wieder.

Das Essen und das alles drumherum ist super. Man fühlt sich hier als Gast sehr wohl.

Zu Besuch mit 3 Erwachsenen und 3 Kinder. Ohne Reservierung in der Woche wollte man uns glaubhaft versichern, dass das Restaurant ausgebucht sei. So würden wir mit den Kindern in ein Lieblosen Nebenraum gesetzt wo wir niemanden im Restaurant stören können, mit dazugehöriger geräusch Kulisse direkt neben der Küche. Das Essen war leider eine reine Enttäuschung... Schnitzel wurde mit Sicherheit nicht selbst hergestellt geschweige denn geklopft. Das ist uns zuerst aufgefallen, dass wir kein Fleisch Klopfen hören konnten. Das Schnitzel schien TK wäre gewesen zu sein und würde vermutlich lieblos in der Fritteuse gebraten. Sehr traurig, dass man das Schnitzel nicht frisch herstellt.. sollte eigentlich ein Aushänge Schild für jedes Restaurant sein. Die Kartoffelpuffer ebenfalls TK wäre. Die Sauce Hollandaise kam aus der Verpackung und wurde leider ebenfalls über 80C° gekocht, da sie geronnen und geflockt war. Ein Wiedersehen unsererseits wird es definitiv nicht gegen. Es sei denn es steht jemand in der Küche der sein Handwerk versteht. Als Gelernter Koch kann ich mir solche Aussagen erlauben. Service war in Ordnung. LG an alle :)

Klassische regionale Küche, zuvorkommendes Servicepersonal, lecker zubereitete Speisen. Wir waren an einem Donnerstag abend dort. Es war gut besucht. Eine vorherige Reservierung ist wahrscheinlich sinnvoll.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zur Wiedereröffnung! Es freut uns, dass es ein Familien Unternehmen geschafft hat wieder zu eröffnen!!!! Wir haben die Wiedereröffnung zum Anlass genommen das Restaurant zu testen! Was soll ich sagen… wir werden sicher wiederkommen! Der Service war mehr als freundlich und zuvorkommend! Endlich mal jemand der zuhört!!! 😅 für die Kinder bitte das Gemüse ohne Sauce oder Petersilie oder sonstiges. Kaum ein Küchenchef schafft es dies zu akzeptieren 😅 hat super geklappt! Die Vorspeisen waren sehr gut! Der Hauptgang hatte (für mich persönlich) zu viel Sauce! Andere mögen es aber so! Das Fleisch war wirklich sehr gut! Wir finden es toll das die Familie das Ambiente modernisiert aber im großen und ganzen so belassen hat wie es immer war! Wir wünschen euch alles gut! Es wird sicher ein Erfolg! Vielen Dank!

Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam. Bei der Küche kann man auch nicht meckern, gut bürgerlich, schmackhaft und ausreichend große Portionen. Das Ambiente ist nicht super-modern, aber das erwartet man in einem solchen Restaurant auch nicht.

Sehr in die Jahre gekommen, man sieht es an den Spinnenweben. Die Bedienung ist sehr laut U nicht gerade freundlich und zu vorkommend, jedes Glas wurde auf den Tisch gehauen, es wurde nicht nach gefragt ob man noch etwas zu trinken möchte u wenn man nach dem Essen gefragt wurde wie es schmeckte ging man gar nicht darauf ein. Mann könnte es gut mit Deko aufpeppen U der Bedienung zeigen wie man von welcher Seite die Speisen an reicht. Das Essen so lala.

Der vegetarische Burger war super! Gerade die Röstzwiebeln ein Traum. Soße war auch passend drauf. Die Pommes schön kross. Bedienung auch sehr herzlich. Und draußen konnte man toll sitzen. Komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Sehr geehrtes Googleteam,wir sind ein Deutsches Restaurant und kein Afrikanisches,vielleicht kann das mal korrigiert werden bevor wieder Leute vor der Tür stehen und ANTILOPE essen möchten.

Das Essen schmeckt hier nicht nur super lecker sondern wird auch richtig schön angerichtet. Ob Familienfeiern oder Schulungen, hier bist du immer gut aufgehoben. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schon beim ersten Mal hatte ich das Gefühl hier gut aufgehoben zu sein, jeder deiner Anliegen wurde erfüllt.

big Bacon Burger to go... leckeres Fleisch, Röstzwiebeln, Bacon schön cross, schmackhafte Sauce . Die Pommes schön heiss und cross... Mayo gab es auch dazu (gratis). Und es war sehr ausreichend. Die Burger sollten auf der Karte bleiben, so spricht man auch mal ein anderes Klientel an. 🍔 Vor Wochen den Chili Cheese Burger probiert, auch sehr lecker.
