We chose this restaurant during our vacation in Jever because of its appealing ambiance. The restaurant was already well-frequented and exuded a wonderful atmosphere. The staff greeted us very warmly, and we were served by the wonderful people of the place. Drinks and food were served quickly—no long waits, even though the restaurant was full! The food was excellent—both fish and meat, such as steak and schnitzel. The final highlight came with the Friesengeist (a Frisian spirit) with a Frisian saying recited. We had to order two. An absolute must when eating there. Overall, a 10/10; we would definitely go again :) Thank you for the great visit!

Great food at fair prices. The service is extremely attentive and fun. A place you'll want to return to. Children are also welcome and have a wide variety of food to choose from. This makes a family visit truly enjoyable. The natural sunshade offers fresh air while also protecting you from the sun. Others should take a leaf out of this book instead of just umbrellas from beverage suppliers.

We've been coming to Jever for the town festival every year for years, and every year the "Haus der Getreuen" is a MUST! Such a great place! The staff and chef love what they do 👍, super friendly, super delicious!!! A wonderful ambiance, decorated inside with many small, loving details that always draw your eye around, and unbeatably cozy outside too. We highly recommend the "Mälzer Gockel" and the "Bäckchen vom Schwein" (pork cheeks), so tender that you don't even need to cut or chew the meat 😁! Conclusion: We'll be back next year!

The Labskaus was borderline good with its beetroot pieces and the cartilage in the meat. The fried egg was overcooked and the yolk was almost hard. The herring was incredibly salty. The gherkin was good, but the portions were too small. For the Jever brewery restaurant, a 0.5-liter bottle costs €5.90, which is high-end here in the north.

We received a very warm welcome. The seating under the plane trees is very comfortable. We had the Frisian tapas and potato soup. Both were delicious. The Frisian tapas were excellent and served appetizingly with three small rolls. Overall: definitely try it if you're in Jever—it's worth it.

You're a truly fantastic team, perfectly coordinated, neither inattentive nor intrusive. The perfect blend! The food is also truly top-notch, everything tastes perfectly balanced, and you absolutely don't need any seasoning. A few businesses here in the Ruhr area could learn a thing or two from you! The food was so-so, relatively expensive for an OK brewery kitchen. The staff was incredibly friendly and quick, and on a hot day, we even had a bowl of water for our black nose right in front of our Alster lake.

The tagliatelle with hake and the "Fish & Chips" (also made with hake) already showed that the two chefs have familiarized themselves with German cuisine. The "chips" are particularly noteworthy, as they weren't made from sticks, but gave the impression that raw potatoes had been sliced over a grater before being lightly fried. An extremely varied dish. Whether the remoulade was also homemade was impossible to determine. In any case, the amount of salad – and especially the balsamic vinegar used – caught my full attention. Unfortunately, with the beer, I made the mistake of choosing one of the products that didn't come directly from the restaurant. I couldn't taste peach or apricot in the Guinness version offered, but that might be my palate. Responding to the service question about 15 times is understandable when you consider that the vast majority of the staff aren't experts in the field. The care and design of the outdoor area suggests that—with good maintenance and the expected growth of the side plants—it will soon become a very pleasant spot for a warm summer evening. Currently, one can admire an artfully arranged canopy of leaves, which perfectly emphasizes the "brewery atmosphere."

We discovered it by chance a few years ago and fell in love. The staff is super friendly, not only to us but also to our four-legged companions. A water bowl is immediately provided. The food is delicious and lovingly prepared. You feel very comfortable here from start to finish. The beautiful terrace with its natural canopy is our favorite spot. We'd love to come back soon.

The Haus der Getreuen is part of the Friesisches Brauhaus in Jever. You won't find any fresher Jever anywhere. The food is outstanding, the service excellent. Always worth a visit. Reserve a table in the evenings and during the holiday season!

A lovely stay, a spontaneous online reservation worked out. If you're expecting a Michelin-starred restaurant based on the reviews, you're mistaken. But the HdG doesn't have that claim. It's a family-run business with a great team. Super friendly service, which makes even minor glitches seem forgiving. It all depends on how you handle such glitches. The food was very tasty, one starter and two different main courses. Both the quality and quantity were very good, and well worth the price. All of this is enjoyed in a very atmospheric setting. We certainly won't be visiting the HdG for the last time, and we're looking forward to our next visit.

A restaurant located right next to the Jever Brewery. The staff was very friendly, and the food was excellent. My only criticism is that I think €6 for a half-liter of beer is too expensive for a brewery restaurant.

Service was good, food was delicious. But paying extra for a little ketchup and swapping fried potatoes for fries... without knowing beforehand, I find that pretty cheeky.

We were lucky enough to get a seat on the terrace under the canopy of plane trees on a beautiful, sunny day. We were very pleased with the exceptionally attentive service, and drinks and food arrived very quickly. There was fish and meat at reasonable prices, and we're already looking forward to our second visit to the "Faithful"!

We had a very good meal in a pleasant atmosphere. The service was attentive but not intrusive and very friendly. We paid just over €90 for two starters, a small dish with a side dish, two main courses, and five drinks. This was excellent value for money, as there was no room left for dessert. The portion sizes were good for the price. If you're interested, you should read the first page of the menu. A great sign of appreciation from the owner for his staff.

We were visiting Jever from Bavaria. The Haus der Getreuen team gave us and our dog a really warm welcome. You rarely see something like that and we felt very comfortable. The atmosphere was totally familiar right from the start. Our allergies were well taken into account and the food was changed. Top for that already 100 points. Dieses Restaurant macht immer Spaß, ob im Sommer draußen oder sonst drinnen. Die verschiedenen Fischgerichte sind wirklich toll und außergewöhnlich guter Bärlauchstampf und mediterraner Salat runden das Ganze perfekt ab. Dazu ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Kellner und die Viertelstunde Anfahrt hat sich mal wieder gelohnt 😃. Klitzekleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Angewärmte Teller sorgen für längeren Genuss 😉. Insgesamt unbedingt empfehlenswert!

I have already spent two weekends in Jever and every time I am amazed by the delicious food and the fantastic service. Definitely my number 1 port of call in Jever.

Today we were in Jever with visitors from Bavaria. Not only did we receive a warm welcome in the restaurant, but our dog was also a welcome guest right from the start - which was particularly nice for us! The atmosphere is incredibly warm and familiar; you immediately feel welcome and in good hands. The staff is attentive, friendly and responds lovingly to all requests - our four-legged friend also received water and cuddles. The food was a dream: fresh, creative and prepared with a lot of love. Every course was a little masterpiece! A place where people and dogs are equally welcome - we will definitely come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

Mega service and high quality food

A wonderfull restaurant in the old city of Jever. Coming in it looks beautiful, the decor is top and the chairs are comfortable. The service was excellent, the waiters where the nicest we have seen in a while. The food was exquisite, I had the schnitzel and it was almost as good as they make the in Bavaria! The fish here tastes great too. They serve beer from the Jever brewery located down the street from them! The frisian tapas where great too, I loved the curry flavoured bread. We stopped here for lunch during our visit to Jever. We received a very friendly welcome, and our four-legged friend was also taken care of immediately. From the menu, which offers a good selection of dishes, we chose two fish dishes, which were brought to us by the very friendly and attentive waiter after a short but reasonable wait. The portions were generous, they were very attractively decorated, and both dishes were deliciously prepared. Two coffees rounded off a pleasant lunch break, which rounded off the excellent overall impression, especially since the location feels cozy and clean. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely stop here again if we ever visit Jever again.

A place where everything was right. The meals were very tasty. We had "Mälzer Schnitzel and Mälzer Gockel", both of which tasted very tasty and interesting. Food and drinks were served quickly. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We will come back on our next trip to Jever and recommend it to our friends.

Anyone who doesn't give this 5 stars (Tom Ker and Stefan Schumann) hasn't heard the last shot. For a menu with high-quality ingredients (perhaps with more junk), taste in every single component and great service, you can easily pay €150 per person elsewhere. If you now notice that they warmly try to fulfill every wish of the guest (and that is what they really are, in contrast to other places here), the rating here can only be 5 stars. We received so much warm attention on our wedding day that even though we weren't regular guests, we felt like VIPs. Unfortunately Jever is not around the corner from Bremen, but we will be back as soon as possible. We wish the great team from the “Haus der Getreuen” all the best, that they stay together like this for a long time and continue in the same way.

The House of the Faithful - more historical appearance than current reality! Good home cooking, okay. We had “Mälzer” schnitzel and pork cheeks. The side salads are in need of improvement for the stated price of 6.90 euros. Drinks wheat & spritzer 5.90 each are overpriced in our opinion. The prices shown on the WEB page differ from the prices on the local menu (higher). We consider the following situation to be extremely questionable and unworthy of a well-run restaurant. The service manager greets apparent regular guests with dogs. Among other things, takes a dog biscuit into his own mouth and then feeds it to the dog, including petting it, etc.; She then clears guest tables and serves food and drinks. In addition, conversations at this table are sometimes carried on at such a volume that you as a guest can definitely consider yourself "disturbed". All in all, a rather unpleasant visit that was unfortunately not worth the 78.00 euros.

If 4 main dishes from the menu are no longer available on a Saturday evening, you can't help but find that underwhelming!!! If the waitress, completely offended by this statement, sends the boss away and asks him in an equally disgruntled manner what he can do, we have run away!!! For the umpteenth time 👎🏻 At some point enough is enough!!! It's a shame, it used to be better, but that was a long time ago!

Keinerlei besonderen Bezug zu Jever. Diesbezüglich sehr fad. Ich mag das Bier/ die Marke. War sehr enttäuscht. Essen maximal Durchschnitt. Teurer Gurkensalat wurde „on top“ verkauft. Würden nicht nochmal hingehen.

Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, was ich immer gut finde. Überwiegend Deutsche Küche. Preis Leistung Verhältnis passt, würde ich wieder hingehen.
