Were here for lunch. A nice well-kept restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. A lovely stay that was worth it. Dogs are allowed.

We ate here again yesterday. Kudos to the kitchen, the dishes are, as always, good craftsmanship. Now to the negative, the service from a certain person is sometimes borderline. She is disrespectful/cheeky and has no sense of which guests are at the table. This impossible behavior, which we saw yesterday not for the first time from her, will make us as Jever residents avoid the restaurant in the future.

Ein gepflegtes, rustikal und gemütlich eingerichtetes Restaurant mitten in Jever, mit schönen Außenbereich. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Super Küche wo auch heute noch das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, individuelle Wünsche sind überhaupt kein Problem. Hier kann man den Tag wunderbar ausklingen lassen, daher sehr zu empfehlen!

A really great restaurant where everything is really right - despite the slightly high prices. The service was super nice, we were able to sit on the terrace under a natural plane tree roof in great sunshine. The food was a real taste sensation, large enough portions and also reasonably priced for the top quality. The interior rooms also made a difference. Very cozy impression and had flair. Absolutely recommended!

Wir sind früher in diesem Jahr schon einmal in diesem Restaurent gewesen und waren mit Essen und Bedienung zufrieden. Jetzt allerdings sind wir wenig freundlich aus dem (leeren) Innenraum „komplimentiert“ worden mit dem Hinweis, es sei alles reserviert. Auf meine Bemerkung, dass es keine Schilder auf den Tischen gäbe (einen Hinweis am Eingang gab es auch nicht) bekam ich zur Antwort „Das macht man nicht mehr.“ - Wenn ich die anderen Bewertungen lese, kann ich mir vorstellen, dass man hier je nach Stresslevel und Servicekraft unterschiedlich Erfahrungen macht. Wir werden es nicht wieder versuchen.

Good morning Year after year we come to this beautiful city and of course stop here. You don't need to say much about the fresh beer. The food is always a pleasure too. No matter how hectic and crowded it is, the service is always great. Conclusion: Absolutely recommended and a must for Jever friends. However, there is a small drawback. The main menu hardly changes. If you don't opt ​​for the seasonal menu, you'll soon get through the standard menu.

Wir waren (wieder mal) auf der Durchreise in Jever, diesmal am Abend. Später erst fiel mir ein, dass ich mich bereits vor Jahren hier mal blamiert hatte: Das Restaurant liegt in Sichtweite der Jever-Brauerei, und als ich damals mein Bier bestellt hatte, meinte ich, einen geistreichen Spruch machen zu müssen: „Sie haben sicher eine Pipeline zur Brauerei, haha (Flachwitz). Aber ich bin sicher nicht der Erste, der das fragt.“ Die Antwort war (schachmatt): „Äh, nein, genaugenommen sind Sie der Fünfte … Pause .., seit heute früh." Spaß beiseite. Wir haben hervorragend gegessen, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war ganz prima. Die geschmorten Schweinebäckchen mit Kartoffelstampf waren schlicht PERFEKT. Der Service war (wieder) lustig und schlagfertig, so und nicht anders muss das sein. Vielen Dank, wir kommen wieder.

We hebben hier heerlijke en voornamelijk traditionele gerechten gegeten. Als voorgerecht tapas van vis, als hoofdgerecht labskaus en als nagerecht rote gruetze. De bediening is vriendelijk. Uiteraard smaakte het lokale “Jever” bier ons uitstekend.

Very cozy and tastefully decorated restaurant. The dishes are first class and really good...and of course the beer too. The service is very attentive and particularly child-friendly. Highly recommended in conjunction with a tour of the brewery! The parking lot north of the brewery can be reached in a few minutes on foot.

Very very nice restaurant. We ordered a table the day before and were absolutely thrilled with the atmosphere. We sat outside under a canopy of vine leaves with little lights. Service was super friendly, drinks and food came quickly and were very tasty. Anyone who is ever in Jever should stop by here. Gladly again.

A long overdue review of the excellent restaurant in Jever. We were guests twice during the Jever city festivals and were able to enjoy the hospitality with all our senses. We feasted on the delicacies of the starters and main courses as well as the local spirits. At no time did we have the feeling that we weren't being looked after. I mention this so clearly because the restaurant was always full (JeverFest). The restaurant management and the owner have an open ear for their guests and are close to the people ;-)…. It's great, a reason to go back to the faithful next year.

Visited the "Haus der Getreuen" twice on vacation, had an excellent meal both times and was served very courteously. The ambience is harmonious, the menu balanced, from meat to fish to vegetarian.

Rustic restaurant with outdoor seating. The food was very tasty, especially the Mälzerschnitzel with a breading of ground malt and beer sauce. The staff was very friendly. Special requests were made possible.

The nice waitress who was responsible for the outside terrace did a great job. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong dish because I didn't like the breading on the schnitzel. The napkin sauce with the fried potatoes was great. On the next visit there will be a different dish and an update.

We organized a family celebration on site and it couldn't have been done better than the HdG made it possible. 20 individual meals to the point, all guests were extremely satisfied and the service deserved 10/5 stars. Always my pleasure!

A visit here is a MUST in Jever. There was Labskaus to eat, super tasty but not entirely filling. Another portion (divided by 3 men) solved this problem (hence 4 ⭐️). Plus, of course (1,2,3) cool Jever fresh from the brewery next door, served by friendly and attentive service staff (full points). Large and spacious inn, nicely and stylishly furnished (maybe more typical of a brewery, but just my opinion).

A great restaurant! My Lütte and I just did a bike ride from Holum to Jever (25km) and were a bit exhausted. The House of the Faithful came at just the right time. The place has an upscale feel and even though we came in with a bag of swimwear and in shorts and a sweatshirt, we were warmly welcomed. Everything in the restaurant seemed upscale and professional to me and we were made to feel like we were in good hands. For my little one there was tagliatelle with tomato sauce and parmesan cheese, with Fanta. For me there was Labskaus and a Jever Fun with lemon. I haven't been a fan of Jever beer at all. But that suddenly changed on this vacation. Since the inn is only 300m away from the brewery, a cold Jever was mandatory anyway, but now I drink a Jever with my meal all the time. It must be because of the good air in East Frisia. A highlight is that you can also tap yourself at a table. The only requirement is that a group of people occupy the table and consume at least 2 liters of Jever. There is a dedicated counter next to the table. The food was outstandingly good. I couldn't remember if I'd ever eaten labskaus before, but this one was really tasty. The accompanying herring was also firm and lightly smoked. Really delicious! For dessert we had red jelly with whipped cream. This was lovingly arranged in a mason jar and gave the impression that it was actually homemade because of all the strawberries, blackberries and raspberries that were in it. With 50 euros for drinks, food and dessert we were in a fair range in my opinion. We will definitely come back on our next vacation. Thank you! In the evening, well fortified, we went 25km back to Holum. My little one also endured this well; Certainly also because of the good strengthening with the lush and aromatic seasoned noodles.

Relaxed little restaurant with a tap into the neighboring brewery. A Jever right next door is a must when visiting the city. The service was incredibly friendly and we immediately felt at home. The view into the kitchen was promising, super clean, tidy, exemplary.

Super friendly and also very confident when dealing with guests who are a little getting used to. The second compliment to the kitchen team. We knew that pork cheeks were delicious, but it was really great that you could prepare mashed potatoes like this!!! We felt completely comfortable. THANKS!!!

The restaurant is nicely in a rustic and a bit maritime style furnished. The staff was average friendly and not too attentive. The selection of food in the menu was good same as the quality and taste. Too sad the amount was not too much, so some people left a bit hungry. The price is in the medium to high region.

The ambience and the service are really very good!!! Price/performance ratio is completely fine and justified. My only criticism is: The asparagus was seasoned too lightly for my standards. As a little tip. Cook asparagus in water with salt, sugar, butter and lemon; the water must taste like too strong a broth. But otherwise everything was super good. We'd love to come back

The ambience and service were completely ok, there was really nothing to complain about. The food, well. Schnitzel itself was good, but the side dishes were very few. The sauces also had little taste. I had a pepper sauce with the schnitzel and it was a joke. Gravy with a few peppercorns floating in it. Unfortunately a no-go, it tasted nothing like pepper. The sauce is almost disgusting. It's a shame, but purely from the food (quantity and sauces) we didn't like it. There really has to be more, even given the price. Therefore we will not come back.

We ended up there purely by chance and were served an excellent meal. The friendly manner of the service and the chef were very pleasant. We can only recommend this guesthouse.

A wonderful restaurant with a cozy indoor ambience, a very nice terrace, great food and an extremely friendly and accommodating team! Every dish on the menu can be recommended, and the pricing is appropriate for the quality (and quantity). The fact that the tastiest beer is served and celebrated here is only mentioned for the sake of completeness. :-) Each of our stays at HdG was a pleasure, and we look forward to our next trip to Jever with more visits to the restaurant!

Nice ambience, which is “naturally” based on the Jever style of the brewery right next to it. The newly designed outdoor area is also well done; here you can sit comfortably and enjoy some food and drink. The range of food on offer is manageable and classic, home-style German (as expected as the brewery's official restaurant). Clearly geared towards the expected "tourist flow", the price is slightly higher overall.

Very tasty food, very friendly and cheerful staff and the seating is very nice. The traffic outside is a bit slow, but if you don't mind that, you can also sit very comfortably inside. All around: really a recommendation!

If I were only leaving after my first (and probably last) visit to the House of Faithful, I would definitely advise subsequent visitors to take time with them. The service was attentive and friendly, but seemed overwhelmed. It took 20 minutes for the drinks to be at our table. We tried the baked potato and the pesto gnocchi. Unfortunately, both dishes ultimately failed us. Accompanying the baked potato in the form of a salad was still good. However, the baked potato didn't taste fresh. There was a hint of Tupperware flavor wafting along. The gnocchi were drowned in average ready-made pesto for so long that they and the accompanying broccoli could hardly be showcased. But the portion size was reasonable for the price. The atmosphere in the historic building of the House of Faithful was nice. You have the opportunity to sit outside under a canopy of leaves right in the city center of Jever.

First I would like to mention the nice lady who served us, thank you for the friendly service. However, we will never choose the table with the gas pump again. We weren't informed about the process, the price per liter is the same as if you had each glass served, so you save a lot of personnel and material costs... When it comes to billing (there is a counter), the timing is the same as if you were to tap it now or pay it like this .. yes OK, so shortly after tapping and then stop!!!! Otherwise they'll pay for the next liter too, phew that's good... We would have understood it in a normal voice 🙈

Our special thanks go to the two ladies who were responsible for service in the restaurant last Thursday. We arrived quite shortly before the kitchen closed; There were enough tables available. When one of the two ladies noticed that we were looking for a table that was a little out of the way (because of our dog), it was set up again especially for us. We quickly received the menus and a blanket and a water bowl for our dog. The two ladies were very friendly and humorous. The service was absolutely pleasant and the food was delicious. The side salad was super fresh and the house dressing is recommended. The breading of the schnitzel was extremely tasty! Next time we'll come with a little more time and a bit more hunger, then we'll try out the desserts...

I have no idea how many reviews I have already written, but this is only the second 5 star review, and rightly so. The welcome was very warm, as was the case throughout the entire stay. Great team you have in service!! The ambience speaks for itself and is, typically North German Mediterranean, furnished with a lot of heart and Frisian identity. The food (salad with turkey) was really great and of course the beer too. Innkeepers, send your employees to Jever. There's something to learn here ;)

We had the pork cheeks with mashed potatoes and red wine sauce. What can I say, a poem, great! The waitresses are in a great mood and very nice. The restaurant is decorated in a modern, rustic style. You can go here, even with a group. She can then even pour her own beer 🍺 at the table.
