Very nice restaurant, attentive and friendly service. The food - Labskaus - was nicely served and tasted good. In terms of price, at least for my standards, it's not something for every day, but I think you can treat yourself to something here without being disappointed. Gladly again!

Absolutely a must if you are in Jever. Chips & Fish and Labskaus are only recommended, and of course a Jever 0.5 :)

We were here for the first time today, but definitely not the last time. First of all, big compliments to the two ladies in service. Super friendly and also very confident when dealing with guests who are a little getting used to. The second compliment to the kitchen team. We knew that pork cheeks were delicious, but it was really great that you could prepare mashed potatoes like this!!! We felt completely comfortable. THANKS!!!

The restaurant is nicely in a rustic and a bit maritime style furnished. The staff was average friendly and not too attentive. The selection of food in the menu was good same as the quality and taste. Too sad the amount was not too much, so some people left a bit hungry. The price is in the medium to high region.

The ambience and the service are really very good!!! Price/performance ratio is completely fine and justified. My only criticism is: The asparagus was seasoned too lightly for my standards. As a little tip. Cook asparagus in water with salt, sugar, butter and lemon; the water must taste like too strong a broth. But otherwise everything was super good. We'd love to come back

The ambience and service were completely ok, there was really nothing to complain about. The food, well. Schnitzel itself was good, but the side dishes were very few. The sauces also had little taste. I had a pepper sauce with the schnitzel and it was a joke. Gravy with a few peppercorns floating in it. Unfortunately a no-go, it tasted nothing like pepper. The sauce is almost disgusting. It's a shame, but purely from the food (quantity and sauces) we didn't like it. There really has to be more, even given the price. Therefore we will not come back.

We ended up there purely by chance and were served an excellent meal. The friendly manner of the service and the chef were very pleasant. We can only recommend this guesthouse.

A wonderful restaurant with a cozy indoor ambience, a very nice terrace, great food and an extremely friendly and accommodating team! Every dish on the menu can be recommended, and the pricing is appropriate for the quality (and quantity). The fact that the tastiest beer is served and celebrated here is only mentioned for the sake of completeness. :-) Each of our stays at HdG was a pleasure, and we look forward to our next trip to Jever with more visits to the restaurant!

Nice ambience, which is “naturally” based on the Jever style of the brewery right next to it. The newly designed outdoor area is also well done; here you can sit comfortably and enjoy some food and drink. The range of food on offer is manageable and classic, home-style German (as expected as the brewery's official restaurant). Clearly geared towards the expected "tourist flow", the price is slightly higher overall.

Very tasty food, very friendly and cheerful staff and the seating is very nice. The traffic outside is a bit slow, but if you don't mind that, you can also sit very comfortably inside. All around: really a recommendation!

If I were only leaving after my first (and probably last) visit to the House of Faithful, I would definitely advise subsequent visitors to take time with them. The service was attentive and friendly, but seemed overwhelmed. It took 20 minutes for the drinks to be at our table. We tried the baked potato and the pesto gnocchi. Unfortunately, both dishes ultimately failed us. Accompanying the baked potato in the form of a salad was still good. However, the baked potato didn't taste fresh. There was a hint of Tupperware flavor wafting along. The gnocchi were drowned in average ready-made pesto for so long that they and the accompanying broccoli could hardly be showcased. But the portion size was reasonable for the price. The atmosphere in the historic building of the House of Faithful was nice. You have the opportunity to sit outside under a canopy of leaves right in the city center of Jever.

First I would like to mention the nice lady who served us, thank you for the friendly service. However, we will never choose the table with the gas pump again. We weren't informed about the process, the price per liter is the same as if you had each glass served, so you save a lot of personnel and material costs... When it comes to billing (there is a counter), the timing is the same as if you were to tap it now or pay it like this .. yes OK, so shortly after tapping and then stop!!!! Otherwise they'll pay for the next liter too, phew that's good... We would have understood it in a normal voice 🙈

Our special thanks go to the two ladies who were responsible for service in the restaurant last Thursday. We arrived quite shortly before the kitchen closed; There were enough tables available. When one of the two ladies noticed that we were looking for a table that was a little out of the way (because of our dog), it was set up again especially for us. We quickly received the menus and a blanket and a water bowl for our dog. The two ladies were very friendly and humorous. The service was absolutely pleasant and the food was delicious. The side salad was super fresh and the house dressing is recommended. The breading of the schnitzel was extremely tasty! Next time we'll come with a little more time and a bit more hunger, then we'll try out the desserts...

I have no idea how many reviews I have already written, but this is only the second 5 star review, and rightly so. The welcome was very warm, as was the case throughout the entire stay. Great team you have in service!! The ambience speaks for itself and is, typically North German Mediterranean, furnished with a lot of heart and Frisian identity. The food (salad with turkey) was really great and of course the beer too. Innkeepers, send your employees to Jever. There's something to learn here ;)

We had the pork cheeks with mashed potatoes and red wine sauce. What can I say, a poem, great! The waitresses are in a great mood and very nice. The restaurant is decorated in a modern, rustic style. You can go here, even with a group. She can then even pour her own beer 🍺 at the table.

We were greeted very friendly and our dog was allowed in, despite the heavy rain! He got a blanket and water, just great! The food was very tasty, the price was right! We'd love to come back when we're in the area again 😌

First of all, the service, the lady was incredibly friendly and attentive, but 5 stars plus. The food was very tasty and tasted great. The atmosphere is cozy and it was very clean. Prices are acceptable these days. Highly recommended, good 5 stars and I'll definitely come back.

Nice atmosphere and nice service, but asking €10.90 for a potato soup that doesn't taste like potato soup with 3 pieces of Mettwurst is too much.

Atmosphere very good. Portions are simply too small for a 1.83 tall man weighing 100kg after a walk in the city! The dish could have been made more lavish with a larger portion of side dishes, it's cost-effective and everyone goes home full, so there was no side salad or bread beforehand. With a schnitzel dish for €22, it's just far too clear. Even for my wife, the portion was too small (1.73 with 72 kg). The taste was good and there was also a creative composition of the dishes, but everything depends on the feeling of satiety.

I was at the restaurant with a group last Saturday and ate kale. I'm super disappointed 😞 the kale was not comparable to traditional kale in terms of preparation, the small piece of smoked pork and the two small sausages only got to know the kale on the plate, the fried potatoes were pretty much counted out. It's just a good thing that there was enough mustard to balance out the taste...., by the way, kale has to be served really hot, maybe next time, I won't be a guest again anytime soon. The service was okay, but I think that with these not cheap prices, the guest should remain king and not line up at the cash register to pay like in a canteen. As far as the ambience is concerned, it was okay, but relatively cold, good thing I was still wearing a cardigan...

We just went for a drink on the outside terrace in the nice weather. The drinks were delicious and the service was friendly.

Even though it's not the cheapest restaurant, we didn't regret our choice to eat at the Haus der Getreuen. We can highly recommend kale and Frisian tapas. Attentive and friendly service.

Perfect visit - We ordered the classic, kale with Kassler, Pinkel, Mettwurst and fried potatoes and were thrilled. Traditionally prepared and very tasty. The portions were plentiful for a fair price. The service was very courteous but not intrusive. The atmosphere is traditional and very well maintained. A perfectly prepared, delicious espresso rounded the whole thing off. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

Today we had dinner at the Faithful House in Jever, it was really wonderful! The straw pork schnitzel is to die for! Of course there was also delicious Jever and a great beer liqueur. Very modern atmosphere and really cozy! We were there with our son, there is a little play area, and the service was so child friendly! 100% recommendation! It's a shame that Jever isn't on the corner, otherwise we'd be regulars from now on! ☺️🥰👍

Wir waren am Sonntag mit den Kindern dort zum Abendessen. Der Service war super und Angestellte ist auf die Kinder eingegangen :-) Das Essen war ebenfalls hervorragend. Bestes Schnitzel, welches ich seit sehr langer Zeit gegessen habe ! Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Immer wieder gerne, waren gestern das erste mal dort. Muss sagen wir werden definitiv Wiederholungstäter . Das Essen ist Super lecker, die Mitarbeiter sind super nett und das Ambiente rundet die ganze Sache ab.

Wir haben telefonisch reserviert und eine halbe Stunde vorher noch einen Tisch für 4 Personen bekommen, bei Stoßzeiten in den Ferien. Wurden direkt bedient mit Getränken und essen war in 30 Minuten da, bei ungefähr 90% Auslastung von Gästen. Das es war sehr lecker! Sehr gut gewürzt und auch nach eigenem empfinden, alles selber gemacht kein Fertig Zeug. Salat Dressing und Remoulade wurde frisch zubereitet und hat vorzüglich geschmeckt. Trüffel Nudeln auch nur zu empfehlen, war einwenig zu salzig, aber trotzdem ein sehr gutes Gericht. Fleisch war auch sehr gut gemacht stark gewürzt und gut Medium durchgebraten. Bedingungen war sehr nett und freundlich und hat uns einen schönen Abend beschert. Gerne wieder👍🏻

Ich habe Scholle und mein Mann Seehecht gegessen. Beide Fische waren labberig, weich, glibberig. Wir waren einig, dass das der am schlechtesten zubereitete Fisch war den wir je gegessen hatten. Die Beilage: Bratkartoffeln mit Speck haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Kartoffeln waren knusprig gebraten. Der Gurkensalat mit Zwiebeln war frisch und das Dressing würzig.

Man sollte hier im Moment keine Entenbrust bestellen. Völlig durchgebraten. Viel zu zäh. Überteuert. 34,50 Euro sind eine Frechheit.

Wir waren an einem regnerischen Freitag Abend im November im Haus der Getreuen. Sehr einladende Fassade und Lage (direkt an der Jever Brauerei mitten in Jever). Das Lokal ist rustikal maritim eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und zur Beratung aufgelegt. Wir hatten die Scholle mit Bratkartoffeln und den Labskaus mit mariniertem Rindfleisch. Dazu Fassbier. Jever Pils ist mir im Abgang zu bitter, das ist leider Geschmackssache. Ich weiß alle möglichen Hopfennoten sehr zu schätzen, aber das ist mir einfach zu unausgewogen. Das Craft Beer (Pale Ale) hat mir wesentlich besser geschmeckt. Wie auch immer, die Speisen waren im preislichen Kontext sehr gut und haben uns - wie alles andere auch - angenehm begeistert.

Freundliches Team, gut bürgerliche Küche. Angemessene Preise. Leider nur bis 21 Uhr geöffnet, was für eine größere Gruppe schon schade ist beim gemütlichen Beisammensein 🤷🏼‍♀️ Dass die Küche dann schließt ist mehr als verständlich, der Ausschank könnte länger geöffnet haben.

Sehr schöner Ort gleich an der Jever Brauerei mit Jever Fun vom Fass. Ich hatte Labskaus, der nicht einfach mit Corned Beef zubereitet wird. Netter Service, angenehmes Ambiente.

Wer in Jever ist sollte sich dieses Restaurant nicht entgehen lassen. Ein Urgestein der Jever Brauerei. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Eine gute Auswahl von frisch zubereiteten Speisen in der Speisekarte. Tischreservierung ist empfehlenswert.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich mit unserem Sohn (im Baby Alter) empfangen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service super freundlich und schnell! Vielen Dank für ein sehr schönes Erlebnis :)
