Very very tasty, really really good!

NEVER AGAIN!!! I wanted to have a coffee in this cafe/restaurant. On the terrace only a few tables were occupied or marked with a "reserved" sign and the rest were free. I went to the restaurant, all tables were free, only one table was occupied by two guests. I politely asked if I could have a coffee at a small table on the terrace. The male waiter asked if I wanted to eat something too. I answered "No", "but I would like a coffee". He said, "we don't have a free table. I said, "I could have the coffee here in the restaurant." He said he had to ask (maybe it was a head waiter he asked), "she just wants to drink coffee !"  The head waiter said to me, "We don't have a free table!" I repeated again, 'I could drink the coffee in here too."  Then the head waiter, with his Italian accent and unfriendly manner, assigned me a place with a concrete chair right next to the counter, where all the waiters were walking in and out (even though the place was empty), so that I couldn't make myself comfortable and as quickly as possible possible disappear again. Yes, I did that too and I was gone in less than 10 minutes. Of course, after I got the coffee, I paid immediately. I have NEVER experienced such outrageousness!

Friendly and courteous staff. Price-performance ratio fits. Very good food. The only negative: The spaetzle is not homemade, which is a real minus when it comes to roast onion

Spacious, well-attended restaurant with a balcony Directly above the lake, away from the crowds, there is seating with small side tables set up directly on the shore, but there is no other self-service there. Prices moderate despite the Italian boss.

The location is great, unfortunately I can't recommend the service at all. The wrong dish was brought to us, and when we asked, we placed a new order, which was also taken. The service was super nice, but unfortunately the owner came shortly afterwards and told us so rudely that there was nothing new anymore because the kitchen was taking a break. We left without an apology and without food. As a long-time customer, I can say I am simply disappointed by such unprofessional behavior that I will certainly not come back. This has absolutely nothing to do with hospitality and if you can't take criticism, you shouldn't run a restaurant. Arrivederci!

We were there on August 15, 2024. Super good service. Food very plentiful. Very friendly staff. In a word, we are coming back. We will recommend it to others. 😄

We were cycling and wanted something to drink. We were told it wasn't a problem. Most of the tables were reserved. Understandably, we asked if we could sit at a table downstairs. We were told yes. Nobody came to order. One of us was in the restaurant asked about the order, the waitress asked if we needed a card, we said no, saying that we knew what we wanted, we sat down again, then another waitress came and we said we wanted to order something, then she said it was self-service, then we left four tables with supposedly self-service without telling us service desert in the restaurant we sat super awesome in the Palmengarten in Sigmaringen and they were soooo friendly

I had dinner there today because I had only heard good things and was totally disappointed. First I had to wait longer for my salad dish than my husband did for his warm dish (he was already half finished). Bread wasn't brought at all, and I wasn't acknowledged when I asked (even though the restaurant was half empty). Summer salad consisted mostly of celery and carrot, melon was inedible and grapes were still on the stem so you had to fish in the dressing with your fingers to free them from it. When the waitress asks if everything is OK. I told her my complaints, but I could have saved myself 🤷‍♀️. Too bad.

It was quite full, but that's how it should be. The service was great, the food was a bit expensive, but it was definitely worth it. The lake itself is a bit algay, but the staff can't help that ;)

We gave this place three chances because of the view. The first time there was a schnitzel in oil with spaetzle. The waitresses were always friendly and polite! Only the cashier with the Italian dialect and bald head was stressed and rude when cashing out. The drinks and food are overpriced (price/performance) and the Italian-speaking cashier is wrong-footed for the third time in a row. Shame about the view. All three visits were ruined by Him! The customer pays you their daily bread and that's not how you treat the customer!

You don't find such a nice restaurant very often! The location alone is beautiful, but it's no use if it's in a nice location and the rest doesn't fit. That is absolutely not the case here. The staff is very friendly and on the ball, even though almost all tables were occupied (inside and outside) The food is a dream, from salad to steaks to calamari, everything tasted wonderful! A clear recommendation to go there!

Always nice there with a great atmosphere

Nice restaurant by the lake. We had to wait quite a long time to be served. The salad was carelessly prepared and tasted like nothing, so half of it was returned! The waitress took the plates away without saying a word. The waiter was rude and arrogant when taking the cash!! That was my first and last visit to this restaurant.

Great spot on the lake. We stopped by several times when we were on our bikes. Sundaes and coffee on the terrace are always really good. Super nice, absolutely courteous staff. We recommend.

We had 2 different dishes and dessert, everything tasted excellent. Rarely eaten so well. The staff was very friendly and on point. Service is very important here. The location itself is a dream. It was a perfect evening for us.

Waren mit Freunden, schöner Tisch mit Blick auf See bekommen. Die Servicekraft war höflich, hat fast über motiviert schon abgeräumt, bevor wir wirklich fertig waren. Das Essen war von der Qualität mittelmäßig bis okay. (Mein Fisch war leider viel zu stark gebraten und daher trocken. Viel zu viel schlecht schmeckender Knoblauch darüber gegeben. Aber selbst das hat den nicht-frischen Geschmack des Fisches nicht übertönt, Kartoffelsalat, okay aber auch kein Highlight. Salat Garnitur ein paar Ruccolablättchen. Brot dazu,insgesamt ein eher trockenes Gericht). Bei den anderen war es auch okay bis mittelmäßig. Allerdings sind die Pommes wirklich klasse gewesen. Die kann man wirklich empfehlen. Was im Service leider gar nicht geht, dass man kurz nach 21:00 Uhr kein Dessert bekommt, ohne dass man davor darauf hingewiesen wird. Nicht mal ein Eis. Und das ganze, obwohl sie zu dritt hinter der Theke rumgelungert sind, es war also nicht viel los. Insbesondere der Juniorchef, viel negativ auf, in Jogginghosen, ab und zu mal ein Getränk eingeschenkt… Und keine Motivation noch kurz ein paar Kugeln Eis zu stechen… Naja. Die die wirklich tolle Lage des Restaurants scheint einiges aufzuheben. Für mich trotzdem einmal und nie wieder.

Wonderful terrace with a beautiful view of the lake. Overall, very nice atmosphere inside too. If you come at this time of year you should take a jacket with you for outside. As for the staff, I wasn't sure whether they were staff or guests. If I'm in the corner again, I'd still be happy to come back. Greetings Fronck.

Inedible, thawed cake during my visit on April 7th, 2024, which almost required a magnifying glass due to the size, which the friendliness of the waitress couldn't make up for!

Very nice view, the food came quickly and was very tasty, the portions were large and the service was very attentive. Gladly again, it's been a long time since I've seen the overall package fit so well, the price of the food is definitely justified!

Unfortunately, December 32nd, 2023 was the last day and a new tenant has not yet been determined. Unfortunately, the toilets were no longer clean, but the store was full.

Very cozy, very good cuisine. And whatever the weather, sit in warm clothes and look out over the lake. Priceless. Service also very good. Staff very helpful and nice.

Ein Besuch ist ein MUST wenn man in der Nähe ist. Tolle Seeterrasse, hervorragendes Essen, netter Service....immer wieder gerne.

Dieses Restaurant ist ganz klar einer der besten Geheimtipps, die ich habe. Wir sind spontan zur Gaststätte gefahren und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das Lokal versprüht Freude, Leidenschaft und Liebe und mit dem Blick auf den See ist dies perfekt. Das Essen hat uns sehr überrascht, weil es sehr gut geschmeckt hat; der Zwiebelrostbrsten und das Steak meiner Frau waren perfekt Medium und die Beilagen haben den Geschmack abgerundet. Der Service ist zuvorkommend, nett, aufmerksam und sehr gut gelaunt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und wir freuen uns 😁😁😁

Bezaubernder Ort zum Entspannen, lecker Essen, gemütlich sitzen und ein sehr schöner Blick auf den See. Das Restaurant ist gut besucht, der Service freundlich & auf Zack. Das Essen war ganz schmackhaft aber leider etwas kalt. Nun, das Ambiente entschädigt und kleinlich möchte ich auch nicht sein. Alle sind sehr um das Wohlfühlen bemüht...deshalb empfehle ich das Haus am See mit gutem Gewissen. FAZIT: Auf jeden Fall reservieren. Das Flair direkt am Wasser ist unschlagbar. Alles in allem tip top!

Schöner Ort tolle Aussicht von der Terrasse aus. Auch innen ist das Lokal sehr schön und einladend. Der Herr der uns bediente schien etwas überfordert und genervt. Das kam auch in seiner Art und Weise rüber. Bei den Preisen für die mäßigen Portionen könnte man sich ruhig etwas mehr Mühe geben.

Haben ohne Reservierung in dem sehr gut besuchten Restaurant doch einen Platz draußen ergattern können. Super Aussicht und echt leckeres Essen mit tollem Service

Leckerer Kuchen, super Terrasse, perfekt.

Waren mit dem Rad unterwegs und haben hier einen Stopp zum Kaffee trinken gemacht. Schöne Küchenauswahl u gut. Man sitzt direkt am See. Freundlicher Service

Das Essen war sehr lecker aber das Personal sehr unfreundlich

Ich wurde sehr nett bedient, die Penne Primavera waren ausgezeichnet. Die Lage des Lokals mit Aussenplätzen direkt über fem See ist herausragend

Ein wunderbarer Platz zum Entspannen und gut futtern. Egal ob schwäbisch wie bei Muttern oder italienisch leicht -alles kommt frisch auf den Tisch.

Leider war der Restaurantbesuch aus folgenden Gründen nicht gut: - Der Salat hatte bei allen am Tisch einige braune und teilweise schwarze Stellen. Dieser Beilagensalat kostet dann noch 6,90€, was eindeutig zu viel ist. - Die Pommes als Beilage zum Hauptgang kamen 7 Minuten vor dem Hauptgang, was so nicht sein sollte. - Die Hauptgänge kamen leider alle zu unterschiedlichen Zeitpunkten ( 5 Minuten dazwischen)Schade, wenn man gemeinsam essen möchte. - Das Pfeffersteak (28,80€) war von der Qualität und Größe gut, allerdings war die Soße dazu nicht gut. Diese hat nur nach Sahne und fade geschmeckt. - Die Butterspätzle waren leider sehr fettig/ölig, sodass das Öl auf dem Teller gestanden hat. - Das Ambiente innen ist vom Optischen ok und die Aussicht auf den See gut. Leider ist es sehr laut und man kann sich dadurch nur mit Mühe unterhalten. Alles in allem ein schlechter Gesamteindruck und ein überhöhter Preis für die abgelieferte Qualität.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, große Auswahl auf der Speisekarte. Für jeden etwas dabei. Leider ist das Personal etwas unfreundlich. Keine Empathie, ein sehr kühles oberflächliches auftreten. Vielleicht wird man beim nächsten Mal mit einem Lächeln empfangen und auch mit Blickkontakt verabschiedet.

Da wir relativ früh, kurz nach Öffnung kamen und ich nach Getränken fragte, erklärte uns ein junger Mann (Chef?) sehr unfreundlich, dass sie erst geöffnet haben und die Bedienung gleich komme. Die war dann recht freundlich. Wir haben hier nur etwas getrunken, weil wir noch nicht hungrig waren.

Waren zwei mal dort innerhalb einer Woche. Super tolles Essen, bester Service. Waren echt begeistert. Kann man. Nur empfehlen! So toll

Am Sonntag spätnachmittags kurz vor 18:00 Uhr bei phantastischem Wetter war ich im Haus am See und hatte nicht vorbestellt. Leider waren alle Plätze auf der Seeterrasse besetzt bzw. reserviert. Man hat sich aber erfolgreich bemüht, mir einen passenden Tisch im Innenraum herzurichten. Ich hatte Zander mit Gemüse-Kurkuma-Graupen-Risotto. Eine interessante Zubereitung, die gut geschmeckt hat und "üppig" war. Die Bedienung war trotz des ausgelasteten Restaurants flott und sehr zuvorkommend. Die Preise sind angemessen. Insgesamt ein gutes italienisches Restaurant mit respektablem Essen. Am meisten hat man allerdings davon, wenn man in diesem "Ausflugslokal" reserviert und einen Platz unmittelbar über dem See bekommen kann.

Tolle Atmosphäre, geschmackvolle Einrichtung, freundliche Bedienung und leckeres Essen. Die Lage ist einfach toll, direkt am See, bei schönem Wetter kann man auf der Außenterrasse direkt am See sitzen. Wir waren am späten Nachmittag bei wechselhaftem Wetter dort, entschieden uns also für ein Platz drinnen. War in Summe sehr schön und lecker!

Wir waren für eine Nacht in der näheren Umgebung und suchten ein Restaurant. Wir sind nur in das Haus am See weil uns der Name gefiel. Gefunden haben wir ein kleines Paradies, mitten im Nirgendwo, an einem hübschen kleinen See gelegen. Ein tolles Restaurant mit einer wunderschönen Terrasse. Draußen im Schatten war es uns zu kalt und wir haben den Tisch gewechselt das war überhaupt kein Problem. Das Essen hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen es hat unglaublich lecker geschmeckt. Falls wir wieder mal in der Gegend sind werden wir auf jeden Fall das Haus am See besuchen

Sehr schöne Räumlichkeiten, steht direkt am See, hat eine Sonnenterasse, schneller Service, guter Kuchen, gerne wieder.

Auf der Terrasse sitzt man mit herrlichem Blick auf den See. Service gut - Pasta mit Gemüse lecker und ansprechend serviert, hätte aber etwas heißer sein können - beim (trad.) Schnitzel mit Pommes und kl. Salat passte alles ... wie gesagt: Kerzen draußen😉😊!

Lecker mediterrane/deutsche Küche. Schön eingerichtet und unbestechlich schöne Sicht auf den See . Oft gut besucht vor allem in Abendstunden und am Wochenende. Vor oder nach dem Besuch lohnt sich ein Spaziergang um den See.

Wunderschöne Lage direkt an bzw. über einem Baggersee. Große sonnige Terrasse über dem Wasser. Sehr netter Service, gute Auswahl an Kuchen. Tageskarte mit leckerem und abwechslungsreichem Essen zu erschwinglichen Preisen.
