Stopped by today on a hike and was very pleasantly surprised. You sit here with a really beautiful view of Lake Baldeney, enjoy the friendly and fast service and the bruschetta is also worth recommending. An all-round great offer - we'd love to come back!

Footpath - a few hundred meters... :-) I'm happy to give 5 stars in all areas because the staff is very friendly, the food and drinks are really good and sometimes even with live music. Really beautifull. Try!!

Yesterday you noticed how the owner (?) told the guests when they criticized the food that if they didn't pay, the money would be deducted from the employees/waiters' wages?! Absolute no-go! Then came some half-strong wannabe who obviously wasn't interested in clarification, just wanted to intimidate. After this experience, we left the store before we too had to have such an experience. In the future we will give this a wide berth and leave our money elsewhere. It's a real shame because the location has so much potential. Unfortunately completely unused.

We ended up here by chance during our bike tour! The ambience and location are super cozy, that has its price! Contrary to many negative impressions, our service was very attentive & very friendly! The situation can't get anything out of it either. Untrained, untrained and overwhelmed staff. The drinks come in a glass and not a bottle. The expensive water was out of the tap. The store is an absolute disaster and no longer what it used to be a few years ago!

We actually like to stop here when we are cycling on Lake Baldeney, because the location is beautifully located, you can sit very nicely with a really nice view. The food (we have tried salad and pasta so far) is also delicious. Unfortunately there are deductions for the service. It takes time to be noticed as a new guest. We had to draw massive attention to ourselves. Then we got drinks, but no menu. And we weren't asked if we would like to eat something. We also had to draw attention to this. The service seems disorganized and overwhelmed, and not particularly friendly, so you don't feel very welcome. The women's restroom today was missing toilet paper and paper towels and the trash can was overflowing. We would like to see these things improve and will try again soon.

One of the most beautiful and chilled locations on the lake. Either you sit on the cushions and look at the lake or you sit in the chairs.

Food ? I called ahead to ask, said sure they have something. 15 minutes later nought !Why bother with any effort when they can just take our money for minimal service? After all there is no other option nearby

In itself an absolute dream place for a location. But the implementation is subpar. My first and last experience in the “Haus am See” 1. Ice Latte is served in a whiskey glass/half tall glass. That's not even half of a normal, decent Latte M. glass. This costs an incredible €4.70! requested.. with oat milk +0.70€! So €5.40!! Oat milk is the absolute standard these days and these surcharges for it are absolutely unnecessary and cheeky! 2. Fresh strawberry cake was recommended to us. (See image) When the server put the plate down, the cake simply collapsed. It was just mud, carelessly thrown together and please pay attention to the relationship to the grapes placed next to it! It's absolutely outrageous to call something like that cake, we didn't touch it and let it go back. Price was at least €5.90! (It was also removed from the bill) Service is friendly, but has a justification for why something isn't working. (E.g. bringing the cake and the coffee at the same time.) Who cares if the kitchen doesn't cope? Absolutely not for me as a customer! Of course, the cake and the coffee should reach the table at the same time and not be separated by 20 minutes. (If you want to say this, you should say it 🤔) If you look around the site, there is some potential. You could do so much with this store! Some directly visible examples. There is a broken broom and rubbish in the corner of the toilet, there are extremely dangerous areas on the terrace (broken metal pipes sticking out of the ground), tarpaulins are lying around randomly. The floor under the urinal needs to be renovated. Just keep walking and don't fall for the visual coziness.

Today we discovered this restaurant or café by chance while walking and tried it out straight away. The location is really great and the atmosphere outside is also very nice and chilled. The prices are a little higher than elsewhere, but it's just a different place, right on the lake. The cake and coffee weren't bad, but they weren't better than other cafes either. The waitress wasn't unfriendly, but you still had the feeling that he didn't take his work seriously.

I can't say anything about the food (yet), as a new operator has moved in here this year. The location itself is still brilliant and simply beautiful. A large lawn with lots of seating, a large shaded terrace and in between a large sofa lounge line for relaxing. It's really wonderful to have a cold drink here when the weather is good and look out over Lake Baldeney.

Top location, nice for a little break by the lake. There is a star deduction for the service - the employees were friendly, but everything seemed quite inexperienced and chaotic. Unfortunately there are no vegan dishes on the menu.

Food ok. The salad consisted mainly of iceberg lettuce and the quantity was not appropriate for the price. You pay for the beautiful view. Children's meal but absolutely fair in terms of price-performance ratio!

We were at the "Haus am See" today with our friends and dog and it was a good experience. The restaurant is idyllically located right on the lake and offers a fantastic view that is perfect for relaxing. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. From the greeting to the farewell, we always felt welcome and well looked after. The staff was always on hand without being intrusive. The ambience also contributes to the special atmosphere. Sitting right by the lake and enjoying nature makes a visit to the “Haus am See” a chilling experience. Overall, our visit to the “Haus am See” was a complete success. If you are looking for a place to be together, eat and enjoy a great view, this is the right place for you. We will be back definitely!

The location for weddings is really TOP. The proximity to the lake is great. Getting there is a little difficult. You have to enter a different house number in the navigation system, otherwise you won't get to the parking lot. This is a little further away, but you can bring people who are not so good on foot there. The car then has to be brought back to P4. All in all, the whole thing was very well designed.

Das Haus am See ist für alle, die mit dem Rad oder den Wanderschuhen am Baldeneysee unterwegs sind, ein perfekter Ort für eine Rast. Mit Blick auf den Baldeneysee und weiter noch auf Villa Hügel kann man im Biergarten oder drinnen sehr gut essen und/oder trinken. Eine klasse Location!

Today I was a guest at the "Haus am See" for the first - and last time. The “champignon schnitzel” I ordered was an imposition. The fries were hard, the schnitzel was tough, and of poor quality. Pretty bold for the hefty price. Even though I told the service person this, there was no response. A colleague conceded without comment. That's what I call service! It's a shame about this really beautifully located location.

Unfortunately, other visitors had a similarly bad experience with the service and quality. Drinks were not opened at the table, but came to the table in a glass. Ice cubes were already half melted. In addition, there was no non-alcoholic wheat or non-alcoholic pilsner. One can happen, still very annoying. The bill is then offset, we consumed two drinks, that can happen, but it's still annoying. The service seemed completely overwhelmed. I think other guests in the restaurant also had the same impression. A pity. Nice place. It used to be much better.

I have enjoyed numerous cups of fresh mint tea, however this was by far the most disappointing experience. First our order was forgotten, followed by a forgotten tablet on our table. Despite the pleasant ambience, this place turned out to be disappointing, especially in terms of service."

After a long time we visited the restaurant again. All I can say is pure disappointment. Ordered two strawberry cups with ice cream. There was exactly one strawberry on it. The ice cream was runny and the strawberry sauce was missing. When we paid we pointed this out. I will check the answer. That doesn't work at all. It really wasn't crowded, there were 4 customers. She also had to ask twice what we ordered 🤔. Yes, there is a lack of good staff in this store. It's a shame, we won't try again.

Staff is completely overwhelmed. too few staff, communication between each other is non-existent. 20 minutes of waiting time to even be able to order, another 30 minutes until the order was there.... Over 30 minutes after 2 x payment requests until I was allowed to pay... But not at the table, I had to actively go in. Food couldn't be ordered because Bon Stopp!. Kitchen is hopelessly overwhelmed? Yesterday we were back at the house by the lake for some time. We actually loved it there when the weather was nice and were regular guests. You can sit outside and enjoy the view of the lake. However, the concept has changed since our last visit. There is no longer any self-service outside, so you have to rely on the service. Unfortunately, this didn't work at all! Unfortunately, the two waitresses had absolutely no regard for new customers and seemed overwhelmed. When we arrived we felt displeasure and wonder everywhere. Several customers have received the wrong items and complained about the long wait times for drinks and the bill. We also had to wait about 30 minutes for our order to be taken. We only ordered two drinks. After we asked after 30 minutes whether we had been forgotten because guests who came after us had already received their orders, we were only told that the drinks would be coming soon. When we asked again after 45 minutes, the waitress no longer knew what we had ordered. We then informed her again. She then came with two drinks, one of which was not what we had ordered. She then apologized and said she would immediately bring the ordered drink “on the house”. This sounded super friendly. Unfortunately, in the next 30 minutes the waitress walked past us about 8 times without a drink. We then waited 30 minutes for the bill. We never received the drink. During the entire stay, we repeatedly observed customers getting up and tapping the waitresses on the shoulder to order or pay. Napkins that the waitress dropped on the lawn were not seen or ignored. What a shame! Absolutely nothing for a short break during a bike ride. The restaurant has great potential! The location is a dream, but here, like everywhere else at the moment, there is a lack of staff and a concept when it comes to serving the tables.

The area is beautiful. The service is regrettable. We had to wait a long time to be attended to. They gave us food first before drinks, and we had to ask them several times to give us the drinks we had ordered. The worst thing was the following: I asked them to give me a glass of water because one of my relatives was coughing. They already knew that we had ordered drinks. They didn't give me a glass of water, I had to pay for a bottle of water.

Unfortunately, we cannot understand the many good reviews in any way!!! The service is actually subpar, and the great ambience is of no use. After more than half an hour we finally got the drinks when we asked. The largely unmotivated employees blame each other for why things aren't working. It was our second visit, after a similarly bad experience last year we wanted to give the lake house a second chance, unfortunately it went unused. Never again!!!

This company does not pay its employees. As I understand the situation, scapegoats are chosen and then the process begins. Unfortunately I had to attend the discussion. I don't support anything like that and can only hope that the exploitation will be stopped. The store has potential if you just think about it and don't play any jokes.

I was booked as an even DJ for a wedding here and it was a wonderful celebration. The location is simply wonderful with its inn look. The house is charming and clean, the garden is large, very well maintained and the lake is simply gorgeous. The service staff is great! Friendly, helpful and open to a chat. I wish the team continued success!

Komplett unterirdisch - WENN denn mal geöffnet - so ist es unter dem neuen Besitzer in keiner Weise mit dem alten - leicht chaotischen liebevollen Haus am See zu vergleichen, sorry ! Dinge die das Haus am See auszeichnen: - unfreundliches Personal - lange Wartezeit - billiges Fritteuse-Food - warme Getränke - wenig bis gar keine Atmosphäre Alles in allem viel Luft nach oben !

Exceptional location, very nice and helpful service staff.

Nice view of course, good seating. However, it opened 45 minutes late and some people had already left. Ordered the goulash soup and a shandy. The goulash soup was almost certainly a canned soup, although of course I can't say that with any guarantee. Definitely tasted like Maggi canned soup. I thought €7.80 was a lot. Radler was ok, a little low in carbonation. Service was average. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend the restaurant.

Well, what can I say. The location is simply great and the outside ambience is great. That's about it. The cake is frozen ready-made cake, the cream is unsweetened industrial spray cream - also a finished product, this was melted before the coffee came... And that in connection with blind staff and extremely inflated prices. Even if the location looks inviting, it's better to give it a wide berth. Once and never again.

Abgestandene Getränke Service sehr überfordert. Nicht mehr wieder.

Eine reine Service Wüste, viel zu wenig Personal….kauft keinen Zitronen Kuchen, der lohnt nicht. Die 4,90€ sind anderswo besser aufgehoben. Café auch nicht besonders prickelnd, in der Milch wurde nach dem Café gesucht, jedoch ohne Erfolg.

Auf der richtigen Seite des Sees, wenn man die Abendsonne genießen will. Mir gefällt auch die Housemusik, die genau in der richtigen Lautstärke im Hintergrund läuft! Gibt der Location einen coolen Vibe, der den anderen Lokalen am See fehlt! Die kleine Auswahl an Speisen wird schön präsentiert und schmeckt. Das Mobiliar sieht stylisch aus, könnte aber etwas bequemer sein.

Spart euch das Geld und trinkt lieber was und genießt den schönen Ausblick. …und bringt vor allem am Wochenende Zeit mit!

Das Team vom Haus am Meer war sehr darauf bedacht, den Aufenthalt zu besonderen kleinen Erlebnis zu gestalten. Sehr zuvorkommend und sehr höflich. Der Blick auf den See und die gute passende Musik vervollständigen das Ambiente. Wir bestellten Zitronenkuchen mit Sahne. Was kam war eine Augenweide und ein riesiges geschmackliche Event mit frischen Früchten. Ganz toll angerichtet. Vielen Dank für dieses Erlebnis. Macht weiter so.

Das Essen ist ganz okay. Die Preise der wahrscheinlich der Inflation angemessen. Der Service ist zwar nett, aber sehr sehr langsam. Wir haben mehrfach ein Radler bestellt (das kam dann auch irgendwann). Aber beim Bezahlen haben wir so lange gewartet, dass wir irgendwann hingegangen sind. Die Möbel werden leider nicht besonders gepflegt. Ein Teil der grossen Liegebank ist einfach eingebrochen. Es scheint auch nichts daran gemacht zu werden. Und Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder gibt es leider auch nicht mehr. Ansonsten ist das Ambiente am See einfach sehr schön. Würden auch wiederkommen, aber wahrscheinlich nur was trinken.

Hätte nie gedacht, dass ich dem Haus am See nochmal eine positive Bewertung geben kann,aber der neue Pächter macht vieles richtig! Kurz gesagt: Schöne Lage und schönes, sauberes Ambiente! Endlich mal Bedienung am Platz, die auch noch fix und vor allem freundlich war! Daher geht hin und überzeugt euch selbst! Seid ein Beitrag, dass dieser Pächter bleibt und somit das Haus am See auch im nächsten Jahr ein toller Platz ist den Baldeneysee zu genießen ☀️🚤🚣‍♀️

Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch extra Wünsche würden berücksichtigt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein wunderschöne Aussicht auf den See und entspannde Musik.

Geld verdienen möchten die nicht,es war nicht wirklich viel los aber die zwei Kellner wirkten schon etwas überfordert. Waren aber auch nicht vom Fach. Sie könnten mehr Umsatz machen,wenn sie öfters mal fragen würden, ob alles okay oder ob man noch was möchte. Man könnte deutlich mehr draus machen. Angefangen bei der Gemütlichkeit d.h. einfach mal ne Kerze draußen auf den Tisch. Alle sassen zu später Stunde im Ddunkeln.

Wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen vor allem den Abend beim Sonnenuntergang mit Blick über den Baldeneysee auf die Villa Hügel bei einem Snak und Getränk zu genießen.

Puh…. Ausblick und Ort perfekt. Essen „Metro Fritteuse“ wirklich nicht zu empfehlen. (Fertig Schnitzel, Pommes, Mayo 17,90€) Service aber war nett. Vermutlich ein Ort um ein Bier zu trinken, sonst eher weitergehen.

Das Kuchenangebot ist überschaubar und völlig überteuert.

Tolle Lage direkt am See und sehr guter Service. Die kleine Portion Pommes Frites ist übrigens recht groß. Die Preise passen zum gehobenen Anspruch, der vollends erfüllt wird 😎

Eine reine Katastrophe dort. Man wartet Stunden lang das die Bestellung aufgenommen wird. Bei dem 2. Getränk hieß es es dürften für 30 Minuten keine mehr angenommen werden, mit der Begründung mit so viel Betrieb hätte man nicht gerechnet. Das ist ein Witz, sorry nie wieder!

Katastrophe Bedingung hatte Verbot Getränke und essen auszugeben . Man würde auf später vertröstet und zum schluss wenn man dann doch was bekommen hatte gab es nur noch Plastik becher essen gab es dann garnicht mehr Fazit: NIE WIEDER !!

Das Ambiente ist schön, alles andere eine Katastrophe. Wir haben eine offensichtlich ungenießbare Lasagne bekommen (Bechamel verdorben?), bei der ich von einem Bissen fast brechen musste. Die habe ich dann reingetragen, weil keine Bedienung in Sicht. Später kam jemand zum Tisch und sagte, der Koch hätte sie probiert und hätte nichts falsches festgestellt. Ich habe dem Koch 100 Euro geboten, wenn er den ganzen Teller ohne Erbrechen leer isst. Das war schon ziemlich unverschämt. Der Burger war viel zu roh und Früchte im Getränk haben komisch geschmeckt. Tipp: nur verschlossene Getränke nehmen, alles andere meiden.

ACHTUNG Lokal zur Zeit geschlossen. Genauso wie das Extrablatt am See. Die beiden Geschäftsführer sind Brüder. 😉

Halten sich nicht an die Öffnungszeiten. Nichts für schwache Blasen....

Leider habe ich mir nach dem Essen dort eine Lebensmittel Vergiftung eingefangen, weil der halbrohe Bioburger offenbar verkeimt war. Außerdem war die Bedienung nicht sehr freundlich und hatte bei der anderen Bestellung auch nicht richtig zugehört oder Verständigungsorobleme gehabt, jedenfalls bekam der Kunde nicht das, was er bestellt hatte. Für uns ist das Restaurant jedenfalls kein Thema mehr.

Schön gelegen und direkt am Spazierweg des Baldeneysee. Scheinbar hat der Betreiber aktuell (05.2023 festgestellt) gewechselt, was den Service und die Speisekarte deutlich verbessert hat. Es gibt eine Vielzahl an kleinen Snacks und die üblichen Getränke. Die Preise sind für die Lage human geblieben. Ich war überrascht und werde sicherlich wiederkommen. Der neue Betreiber hinterlässt einen deutlich angenehmeren Eindruck .....

Nettes Ambiente direkt am Baldeneysee. Speisen sind übersichtlich aber ausreichend. Der Service war schnell und zuvorkommend. Die Getränkekarte eher bieder, wenig innovativ, jedoch für einen Boxenstopp gut und ausreichend. Familien mit Kindern haben außen ausreichend Platz. Irgendwie sieht es im Außenbereich so aus, als ob die Besitzer noch überlegen, wie sie das Außengelände gestalten wollen. Für einen Stopp rund um den Baldeneysee auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen .

Mega schön am See gelegen, freundliches Personal, bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten und eine große Rasenfläche, auf der man über den See Blicken kann. Es ist sehr weitläufig, sodass es nicht zu laut wird und das Restaurant hat einen sehr gepflegten Innenbereich. Immer eine gute Wahl!

So ein tolles Lokal, dass Ambiente und die Musik ergänzen hervoragend den Blick den man hier hat. Das lädt hier mega zum verweilen ein. Der Service ist ok. Ich denke das man bemüht ist die Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen. Das wirkt aber unstrukturiert und ein bisschen liebevoll verpeilt 😅

Wunderschön! Urlaubsfeeling pur. Hier kann man chillen, die Sonne ganz bequem auf der großen Wiese sitzend genießen, mit Blick auf den See und dabei lecker snacken und trinken. Service ist super freundlich, mehr brauch ich nicht 😊

Tolle Lage, sofort am See. Man kann auch draußen sitzen. Der Kuchen war lecker, aber vermutlich eingekauft, was nicht schlimm ist. Der Service war gut, alle waren freundlich. Der Kaffee war in Ordnung. Für eine Fahrrad Tour Pause gut geeignet.

Gäste entstammen primär dem innenstädtischen Milieu und fahren mit getönten Limousinen über den Fahrrad- & Fußgängerweg, anstatt die Straße zu nehmen. Service unterirdisch und aller feinste Systemgastronomie. Wer den alten Betreiber und Charme noch kennt, wird sich hier nicht mehr wohlfühlen. Dann doch lieber zum Cafe am Ruderhaus, oder zur alten Eisdiele nebenan. Die Aussicht kann Nichts davon ausgleichen.

Nach der Wiedereröffnung Anfang 2023 wartet ein modernes Ambiente im Inneren und bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen.
