Really good fries! I can only recommend it 😃

Ordered the Montreal Style Poutine. There's nothing special about the fries for someone who almost exclusively sells only that. There was barely any mushroom in the box. Overpriced tbh. A joke of a place.

Since I'm at the train station every day, I get fries there every now and then. Unfortunately, it always depends on who is on shift. Two weeks ago there were two girls there who were really super friendly and quick. Last week there were two gentlemen who unfortunately valued their conversations more and didn't want too many fries to end up in the bowls. I think it's a shame because the garlic fries are really tasty.

Frittenwerk is a chain that you can visit from time to time when you're hungry for fries. You can definitely choose toppings. I had the carne chili, unfortunately. It was a bit bland. Spices were missing, some of the fries weren't quite cooked through A bit hectic as it was very full But everyone was very friendly

The fries are very tasty and the staff is friendly. The ambience is good for a train station snack bar, but of course it doesn't come close to that of independent restaurants.

I've always said that the best Frittenwerk is in Essen Hbf. The blonde girl who works there is always nice and serves the right portion according to the prices. However, the male employee is the complete opposite. He serves very rudely and the plates are not even a quarter full. He is very stingy. It's the same every time I order from him. He doesn't want to take care of the customers and is always joking around. Unfortunately, this gives the business a bad reputation.

Wanted to order something before the train left. Unfortunately, the ordering process took longer than 5 minutes because the terminal is designed so that the customer buys everything and leaves as much money as possible. Every special curl is queried. Therefore no reasonable order is possible. I'm not ordering a quarter of an hour!?

The rooms are very nicely and stylishly furnished, you feel very comfortable, the staff are friendly and attentive. I had the vegan currywurst with the garlic fries, the fries are really tasty, less greasy than expected, the vegan currywurst (it's my first) tastes pleasant, I have no comparison but I personally think it's tasty considering it's not meat. Overall, very nice here and can only be recommended. ☺️

Chips, Sausage and Curry Sauce - you can’t go wrong!. The portions are a really good size for the price paid and it was to retry quick to order and serve. Service is a little sterile but that’s no bother for what you are getting

Frittenwerk Essen Hauptbahnhof offers a solid experience. The wait was acceptable, however there was a small incident with the receipt which had to be reprinted. The Lieferando driver without a uniform and the lack of a tablet for ordering were notable. In terms of taste, the food received a good rating of 8 out of 10, although the meat was a little too salty. The look scored 6 out of 10. One criticism was the liberal use of ketchup and mayo, resulting in a low score of 2 out of 10. The service, however, was very nice and deserved 8 out of 10 points. The cleanliness in the chip factory was convincing and received a high rating of 9 out of 10 points. Overall a positive experience that could be helpful to others.

I had the Istanbul fries...I think that's what they're called xD Plus an upgrade to garlic fries. I had little expectations, but I was so full and it tasted really good. Attached is a photo of the dish!

Wir wollten eine Currywurst Pommes essen, mussten 15 min warten, da die Würstchen so lang dauerten. In der Zeit konnten wir einem älteren Herrn übersetzen, da vom Personal niemand Englisch sprach (an einem HbF einer Großstadt!) Nach den 15 Minuten war die Wurst noch genauso ungebraten wie vorher, die Mayo war absolut nicht lecker. Sorry, hat uns überhaupt nicht überzeugt.

Mein Erster und Letzter Besuch gestern ich habe mir Pommes Royal Poutine bestellt die Portion war sehr klein und oben drauf nur 2 Scheiben Radieschen. Personal sehr lustlos und nur am Putzen indressiert. Habe 6,90 €bezahlt und letzten 10 Cent in die Trinkgelddose getan da kam noch nicht mal Danke. Also das Geld war es nicht Wert

The food is always a 10/10. Hot, fresh and very tasty. However, it’s often tricky to get a seat as there are very limited seating options, due to the generally small restaurant. Also the tables are a bit wobbly. But other than that I’d fully recommend eating here, if you’re ready to pay 7-9€ per portion (for some REALLY good fries that is!)

Die Pommes sind sehr knusprig und lecker, die Soße ist sehr gut. Meine erste Erfahrung war freundlich, da ich müde war und zu wenig Zucker im Blut hatte. Als ich den Teller ergriff, fiel mir der Teller aus der Hand. Der verantwortliche Manager schnell Abhilfe und ersetzte mich auf Kosten des Restaurants durch ein neues Gericht. Ich war schüchtern, aber glücklich. Natürlich habe ich das Experiment später mehrmals wiederholt. Ich empfehle, es auszuprobieren

Very good service, good menu, the staff is really polite, Very quick service the Food has very good quality all around. They know how to prepare fries of your choice. Prices are reasonable. Hatte chilli cheese fries. Fand die sin cane nicht so gut. Aber das ist nur mein persönlicher Geschmack. Die Soßen waren klasse und die Knoblauch Pommes auch.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, dass Essen war auch sehr lecker und sah wie auf den abgebildeten Bilder aus. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Obwohl es im Hauptbahnhof ist hat man auch die Möglichkeit sich gemütlich hinzusetzen also Topppp👍🏻

Leckere Currywurst mit frischen Pommes 🍟 Freundliches Personal

Very disappointed. The website said 15 churros, I got 10. They're dry and very small. The Poutine here is the most disappointing set of fries I've ever seen. For over 7€, this small portion is an insult to fries. Definitely won't be coming back to this place. Edit: main station, wasn't sure which is which. Considering your prices are way too expensive and in my opinion not worth of the food i got and would get, i'm not coming back.

Wir haben ja schon oft am Hauptbahnhof mal etwas gekauft, zum mitnehmen oder einfach da essen, aber das war mit abstand das enttäuschendste, für das ich je mein Geld ausgegeben habe. Bestellt wurde Poutine und ein Dessert, erhalten haben wir ein paar kleine, matschige Pommes, mit Sauce draufgekippt, 2-3 kleine Schnipsel Pommes und beim Dessert war es noch weniger als auf der Seite stand. Wenn ihr irgendwo etwas richtiges Essen wollt, geht bloss nicht hier hin.

Leckeres Essen und die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich

Die Bedienung war sehr langsam, trotzdem es gab nicht zu viele Kunde. Die Tijuana Pommes war ok. Pommes ist aber nicht so frisch und knackig wie wir wollten. Churros braucht ja mehr Zimt und Zucker dazu.

Qualität ist gut, Personal ist freundlich. Die Speisenkarte ist für mich aber nicht daa gelbe vom Ei, mag da vieles persönlich nicht und auf jedes Gericht wird immer Grünzeug geworfen. Die Preise sind leider etwas zu überzogen für meinen Geschmack.

Sitzmöglichkeit eingeschränkt, essen lecker, pommes hätten etwas knackiger sein können, schön eingerichtet

Mitarbeitern ist das putzen, kurz vor Feierabend, wichtiger als Kunden zu bedienen. Kunden wird kein Geld gewechselt und es wird nicht der Reihe nach bedient.

Portion ordentlich nur irgendwie eklig wenn die Wurststücken mit der bloßen Hand auf der Pommes verteilt werden. Lecker lackierte Fingernägel und Schmuck 🤢
