Hatari Pfälzer Stube in Hamburg

Went there spontaneously today with a friend. Great food, super nice service and the prices are great. In any case, I'll take a look again ☺️

Good place in cool Schanzenviertel. We had Käsespätzle with Sauerkraut (excellent) and sausages with chips (ok, chips were good). The atmosphere was cool and funky. Good value for money! I would go back

Unfortunately the quality of the food was only mediocre. The roast beef was very hard and the spaetzle was soggy. The service friendly.

The restaurant was recommended to me and I have to say that I am very happy about my visit. The service was great. Staff very friendly and attentive. The food was very very tasty! I had a cordon bleu with fries and salad. Everything about it was delicious. The restaurant is very cozy and the atmosphere is great! The only thing that could be improved is the door, which unfortunately bangs very loudly when it closes.

A shadow of himself. Despite a reservation, there was no table available for us. After waiting 10 minutes in front of the door, when we asked, we were pushed to a corner table that was too small, where we were forgotten again, even when the table we were promised became free. So we only got to our table 30 minutes after the reserved time. There are no more sauce bottles on the tables. There were several confusions with the food that was delivered, and we had to ask for cutlery. It was way too loud. Last but not least, we were passive-aggressively pointed out the possibility of tipping. We were here for the last time. Burgers were great.

Hatari is really good. The menu boasts a variety of options, including burgers, schnitzel, and Spätzle. I ordered the Spätzle with braised beef, and it did not disappoint. The beef was tender and juicy, making the meal hearty and very filling. The only downside was the long wait for the food to be served. However, the delicious food and the pleasant atmosphere made up for it. If you’re in the mood for some authentic German cuisine, I recommend giving this place a try!”

I've been going here with my family since I was a child and it's always a nice experience. The food is very tasty and simple, which I like very much. I always take the classic schnitzel, which is really delicious. The portion is nice and big and you'll definitely be full. I especially think the dark sauce that comes with it is great. But I could always have double or triple them. The only deduction I make is for the volume. It's really extremely loud when the store is full. A big open space without any kind of soundproofing or anything. Then with the music (which, by the way, is usually really good) it's often not bearable for long.

Clear menu, great portions, very tasty. These short descriptions hit the nail on the head. Palatinate cuisine in Hamburg. The palate is spoiled. It's also worth it in terms of price/performance ratio. Highly recommended.

We were at Hatari's on a Tuesday evening around 8:30 p.m. Despite the busy indoor and outdoor area, we got a place outside (just as we wanted). The service was good, we didn't have to wait long and were served in a friendly, open-hearted and quick manner. The food was delicious and exactly what we wanted (Spätzle with sauerkraut - yum yum). We'd love to come back :)

We were disappointed. Gravy as a salad dressing? For some dishes, the side salad should be served separately. Food just ok; a bit tasteless to meh. Presentation on the plate was careless. Order was served incorrectly and had to be redone. Service was visibly overwhelmed. But the portion was large. That means you had a lot of loveless and tasteless food. There are canteens with better ambience. We found the price/performance to be poor. On average we paid €25 per person for a drink and a main course. We think this restaurant is highly overrated! Better price/performance alternative: Erika's Eck (even if it's not a Palatinate kitchen per se)

One of the coolest and most exciting bars in Hamburg. If you like Swabia in Hamburg, you've come to the right place. Anything that is combined with cheese spaetzle can only be delicious. My recommendation is the hatari burger

We were lucky and got a table on a Friday evening without a reservation! Nice service and the food was very tasty, good quality at reasonable prices. Great atmosphere in the middle of the Schanzenviertel. We'll be back

Food is great as always. Prices haven't risen dramatically like other places in the city. Cheers for that! And the service became much more quicker and efficient.

Des ken pälzer laden! This is a mix of palz and schwobeland! and a schorle is given in the palace with half a liter and not 0.2!!!!

Hatari is one of the best picks in Schanze. I do recommend their bratwursts, both with Kartoffeln Gurkensalat or Sauerkraut and bread. Simply amazing. The Hatari Zwickel Beer is also great.

We were in Hamburg for the first time on June 29th, 2024. When we were looking for a restaurant we ended up at Hatari...people, don't be shocked by the interior... a quaint restaurant with a certain flair... food It was absolutely delicious 😋 😋 😋 😋 We had a schnitzel with French fries sauce in a separate gravy boat and a tarte flambée with leeks and fresh tomatoes... the young man The person who served us was super friendly.... The price-performance ratio is definitely right here... We'll be happy to come back on our next visit...

Did come here quite often back in the days when I lived in Hamburg. After the Match I took my friends here and started with a dad joke, bad but harmless, so I thought…. The waitress found me disprespectful and made that clear in front of the group (don’t know what is more disrespectful, my joke or here arrogant way of teaching us a lesson). After this the atmosphere became a bit tense. Nevertheless the food was great as always!

I come here regularly and have never been disappointed. The staff is super nice, accommodating and the atmosphere is very homely. For larger groups, it's best to reserve 4-5 days in advance, but something will quickly become available for 3 spontaneously. A little tip: try the vegetarian Maultsachen salad with goat cheese!!

A typical Hamburg bar. Tables and equipment as well as ambience are quite ordinary. Unfortunately I didn't like my goat burger, it was quite dry. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that the waiter mixed up a few things at the table and so my dish had to be changed again. First I had a schnitzel delivered and then, after a surprisingly short time, the correct burger. The wheat beer was a disappointment. Someone urgently needs to teach the bartender how to pour. She could be seen pouring wheat beer directly from the bottle into glasses standing on the counter. In this way it naturally foams extremely and it takes a very long time until the foam has subsided and the glass is finally full. The foam formation then removes the carbon dioxide and the beer tastes like feet that have fallen asleep. My table neighbors felt the same way

The food is not bad at all, service is alright. The only problem is MICE, MULTIPLE MICE and other rodents in the dining area with the guests. Cleaning the dining area was obviously not a priority as food was left on the floor, which brings out the mice. Even worse is that the staff/restaurant knows its an issue and don't care. I was calmly and passively told "we will have someone come take care of the mice next week" (on a Tuesday night). Sure, please take your time and don't rush.

Cute restaurant. I had the spinach and ricotta Maultaschen with parsley lemon pesto and it was very delicious. The service was fine, though they forgot to give us my partner’s leftovers that we asked to have packed up to go, which was a bit annoying.

Unfortunately the beef in the burger was killed twice, it was very dry. The burger bun was also very dry and tasteless. But the atmosphere and service were good.

Unfortunately, the food was not prepared with much care. Also handcrafted - "spicy fried" was offered, lukewarm blasé inside raw smoked pork was brought - clear defects. Other foods ok Portions rather large. Service was quick, friendly.

Unfortunately, two dishes were served incorrectly and the first waitress insisted it was correct until the second person saw it. Not a big deal and we got a schnapps for it. However, the prices on the boards on the walls were out of date, which isn't very customer friendly but that's ok. Food was super tasty and large portions. Unfortunately we got an awkward spot because we were a large group so it was quite drafty because the door was constantly open. Unfortunately that was very annoying. Definitely reserve on WE :)

The schnitzel at Hatari in Eimsbuettel or on the Schanze is now part of my routine on my trips to the Alster. The service is authentically friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and the food is delicious. The portions are above average in size, with a very fair price-performance ratio.

The service and atmosphere is wonderful here and I was seated quickly and felt welcomed. The scnitzel was OK but good value. I'd come back again if I wanted good food quickly. Staff were excellent

We were at Hatari at lunchtime on Thursday. The restaurant wasn't very busy, so we had free choice of seats at the window. Service was friendly, food was delicious! Anyone who likes Swabian cuisine is in good hands there, we left full and happy. There are three restaurants in Hamburg 😁

This restaurant has turned out to be a little insider tip. The best schnitzel and cordon bleu I've had the chance to try so far. Delicious burgers with our own buns, fresh patties and delicious combinations. Even with larger groups (15 or more), everyone gets the hot food almost at the same time. Drink prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere invites you to linger.
