The food was freshly prepared and tasty. My steak was good but not superb. The service was rock-solid but not extraordinary. The location is very central but could be also a small pub when you look at the wooden furniture. Overall, what really scared me was the high price level combined with the setup and experience. I suppose the restaurant has many regular guests and does not necessarily need new customers.

We had skrei and saddle of veal. Both tasted very good, but were limited (especially when it came to the side dishes). I found it stingy that there were two (!) pieces of bread for everyone. Given the high prices, a “greetings from the kitchen” would have been expected. If you want to be full, you have to choose a second course and then, including drinks, it easily comes to €75 per person. For such prices the seating is much too tight. A year ago the prices were much cheaper. There was also a menu. (Was it because it was a Saturday this year?)

The food was indeed great for... Meat lovers. Hugh quality and well prepared. Unfortunately, there was not a single option as main fish for vegetarians upon our visit. Appetizers were also quite restricted for vegetarians. The tables are quite small. The service was fine.

Business event with about 25 people and the restaurant was overwhelmed. Arrived half past six, but food wasn't served until midnight half past eight. At 10, many of us left the restaurant before dessert. The food is mediocre. The map is small. There is no main course for vegetarians.

A lovely restaurant with delicious food and outdoor seating. The waiter was very accommodating and patient with us, the menu is unique every day and presented to each table on a chalk board. From first impressions, you could really tell this was a highly regarded restaurant amongst locals looking for a good time. I went with the schnitzel and a creme bulee for dessert. I will be definitely returning back to this restaurant on my next visit to cologne

So I ended up in the bunny by chance this week. Great, handwritten card, very diverse. Unfortunately it was so warm that we only had a few gnocchi with strips of beef fillet. But they couldn't have been better in Italy. I'm looking forward to my next visit, but then in the evening and with a look at the wine list, which is certainly promising. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the food... Almost forgot, great service.

On a beautiful summer evening we were able to enjoy our dinner at an outdoor table in the Hasen restaurant. Good and attentive service. The food was excellently prepared and we enjoyed it very much. We also really appreciated the select number of wonderful wines, which were also offered by the glass.

We had a birthday dinner with 12 people in the Hase and were looked after in a very charming way and were treated to culinary delights. The personal and courteous hospitality was a highlight for us and our guests. A big thank you to the team.

The food was excellent, a big compliment to the kitchen. I have rarely had such tender and delicious beef. Unfortunately that was it with positive feedback as I couldn't really relax that evening. The best way to describe the evening is that in our case the rabbit didn't manage to strike the balance between presence and reserve. Providing guests with a 1.6m slate board at their table instead of a menu may be a nice idea, but it can also put pressure on the guest and seems oppressive, especially on busy days. I missed service a bit. Nothing more than the welcome, taking our orders and the bill came. I would have hoped for more in this price category. I found this particularly unfortunate because, in my opinion, other tables received more affection from the staff. I only found the farewell words of one of the waiters authentically pleasant, but leaving the restaurant shouldn't be the service highlight. Just one. If I were a waiter in a restaurant, especially an upscale one, I wouldn't wear an intrusive scent, but rather a subtle one. We were there on a Tuesday evening. Maybe we were just the wrong people for the store. Anyone who arrives with a big wallet and puts capital into the wine list is sure to have a nicer evening.

Visited this restaurant based on the good reviews. There are still a few things missing to really call this good. first of all the service is unfriendly. It is also not really comfortable to sit, the chairs are hard and the tables are too close together. The cuisine is German, large portions, heavy on the stomach. They work with a menu board. So I expected choices adapted to the season. No, in the middle of summer at temperatures of +25 degrees they serve cauliflower and broccoli. The food itself was ok, but not special. The mozzarella was a bit tasteless. the poultry a little too dry. an ok restaurant, with better service I would probably have given it one more star.

Above and beyond! Non touristy, great food and top notch service. Take the extra 10 min to all from the center and get to this place. We tried the gazpacho, oysters, goat cheese salad, duck, schnitzel and more. Everything tasted great and the server was amazing!

Waren zum ersten mal dort, haben es wegen der guten Bewertungen und der kreativen Speisekarte ausgesucht. Wir waren echt begeistert. Kleine Karte auf einer Tafel, schöne Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken (inkl. Wein). Service super, nicht aufdringlich, aber sehr flott und aufmerksam und sehr freudlich. Einzig die etwas lautere Athmosphäre könnte man ein bischen bemängeln trotz Akustikdecke. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Very good food. We had asparagus with Wiener Schnitzel. The dessert was also good. In my opinion, the ambience also includes the condition of the toilets and for a high-quality restaurant this has to be very good, which unfortunately it wasn't.

The name Hase for a restaurant made us curious. So we spontaneously decided to eat there and we didn't regret it

Exciting change from local brewery fare. Rather in the upper price segment, this is justified by the high quality of the food. We sat outside and the atmosphere was very cozy.

Spontaneous visit without reservation on Friday evening is brave - but it worked! The four of us sat outside under a radiant heater and everything was perfect: perfect food with fish risotto and truffle pasta in a Parmesan wheel, with Reisling from the Künstler winery, and the dessert was also outstanding. Plus perfect service. Thank you, we'll be back!

We came without reservation but very friendly staff identified for us a table available for the next 90 minutes which was enough to enjoy one entry and fantastic crème brûlée. We had a reservation but we could not go ( we could bot get visa and our trip had to be cancelled) yet they charged 280 euros for not going. We paid 280 euros for a dinner that we dis not eat. This is unbeleivable. It was in their policy, I understand that the restaurant has to charge an amount for the table but if we would arrive we would pay that. The fee is huge and this is cruel

Things can get a little crowded if you arrive later, but the fact that the restaurant is busy speaks to the general appreciation from the public. Daily changing dishes, "manageable" portions, but above all very well prepared, well-balanced in taste and very neatly presented, attentive service, good timing in terms of the course flow,... What more do you want? The price is well above the system catering, but the quality is worth it. The somewhat limited wine selection doesn't bother you: you can always find the right drink. The pasta, which is prepared in front of the guests in a Parmesan cheese wheel and with freshly grated truffles, is also a nice idea. Very pleasant (I have experienced this differently in other restaurants): the guest is not complimented after a certain period of time. And what's almost even more remarkable is that guests without reservations are willing to wait outside until a table becomes available, even in winter. The only negative point: a spare roll should be kept in the toilet. Otherwise: full praise. Gladly again!

Food and service was incredible - hosts walk you through the menu and translate for you if you don't speak German. Go with their recommendations - only gripe is that they asked for a tip (ofc voluntary for the customer) at the end, which is something I wouldn't have expected from an European restaurant. It was actually very nice in the bunny today. The food and wine were delicious and the service was very friendly and attentive. I have nothing at all against a somewhat simple interior. But everything is really very narrow and very loud in the restaurant.

Der Service war äußerst zuvorkommend, sehr angenehm. Mir persönlich war es etwas zu eng, was die Sitzgelegenheiten betrifft, aber grundsätzlich ist es warm und gemütlich!

Sehr netter aufmerksamer Kellner. Super toll gegessen, zu entsprechend hohem Preisniveau. Wirklich tolle Nahrungsmittel, welche gekonnt verarbeitet werden. Wir hatten die Garnelen mit Mais zur Vorspeise, das Entrecôte mit blanchiertem Spinat und den Apfelstrudel. Die Weinempfehlung von 2001 war ebenfalls ein Gaumenschmaus. Einzig die Tische und gepolsterten Brasseriestühle dürften größer sein, weil alles sehr eng ist.

Essen & Service wirklich herausragend gut. Preislich gehoben aber alles durchdacht von a-z. Keine feste Speisekarte, jeden Tag neue Gerichte auf der Karte. Wir haben verschiedene Speisen probiert und es waren alle begeistert. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Sehr gute Küche der gehobenen Preisklasse, Tageskarte mit guter Auswahl. Bedienung machte am Anfang etwas desinterssierten Eindruck, dann aber sehr zuvorkommend und professioneller Service.
