Great food, great service and very good wine recommendations from the landlord. The innkeepers are masters of their craft.

So I ended up in the bunny by chance this week. Great, handwritten card, very diverse. Unfortunately it was so warm that we only had a few gnocchi with strips of beef fillet. But they couldn't have been better in Italy. I'm looking forward to my next visit, but then in the evening and with a look at the wine list, which is certainly promising. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the food... Almost forgot, great service.

Delicious food and, at first glance, a nice ambience. However, something disturbs this idyll. My family and I noticed that the kitchen had a very harsh tone towards the staff. Without judging too much, the managers can be happy that the service allows them to do this!

On a beautiful summer evening we were able to enjoy our dinner at an outdoor table in the Hasen restaurant. Good and attentive service. The food was excellently prepared and we enjoyed it very much. We also really appreciated the select number of wonderful wines, which were also offered by the glass.

We had a birthday dinner with 12 people in the Hase and were looked after in a very charming way and were treated to culinary delights. The personal and courteous hospitality was a highlight for us and our guests. A big thank you to the team.

The food was excellent, a big compliment to the kitchen. I have rarely had such tender and delicious beef. Unfortunately that was it with positive feedback as I couldn't really relax that evening. The best way to describe the evening is that in our case the rabbit didn't manage to strike the balance between presence and reserve. Providing guests with a 1.6m slate board at their table instead of a menu may be a nice idea, but it can also put pressure on the guest and seems oppressive, especially on busy days. I missed service a bit. Nothing more than the welcome, taking our orders and the bill came. I would have hoped for more in this price category. I found this particularly unfortunate because, in my opinion, other tables received more affection from the staff. I only found the farewell words of one of the waiters authentically pleasant, but leaving the restaurant shouldn't be the service highlight. Just one. If I were a waiter in a restaurant, especially an upscale one, I wouldn't wear an intrusive scent, but rather a subtle one. We were there on a Tuesday evening. Maybe we were just the wrong people for the store. Anyone who arrives with a big wallet and puts capital into the wine list is sure to have a nicer evening.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht. Der Geräuschpegel war nahezu unerträglich. Sehr schade. Ich wurde dieses Restaurant nur noch besuchen, wenn nicht viel los ist oder wenn man im Außenbereich essen kann. Schade für das sehr gute Essen und die sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Above and beyond! Non touristy, great food and top notch service. Take the extra 10 min to all from the center and get to this place. We tried the gazpacho, oysters, goat cheese salad, duck, schnitzel and more. Everything tasted great and the server was amazing!

Bottom line - the food is amazing!! I highly recommend the starters. Both salads were amazing, I regretted not ordering more. It's a bit expensive but the food is definitely worth it. The service is also great with very nice staff.

Waren zum ersten mal dort, haben es wegen der guten Bewertungen und der kreativen Speisekarte ausgesucht. Wir waren echt begeistert. Kleine Karte auf einer Tafel, schöne Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken (inkl. Wein). Service super, nicht aufdringlich, aber sehr flott und aufmerksam und sehr freudlich. Einzig die etwas lautere Athmosphäre könnte man ein bischen bemängeln trotz Akustikdecke. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Very good food. We had asparagus with Wiener Schnitzel. The dessert was also good. In my opinion, the ambience also includes the condition of the toilets and for a high-quality restaurant this has to be very good, which unfortunately it wasn't.

Spontaneous visit without reservation on Friday evening is brave - but it worked! The four of us sat outside under a radiant heater and everything was perfect: perfect food with fish risotto and truffle pasta in a Parmesan wheel, with Reisling from the Künstler winery, and the dessert was also outstanding. Plus perfect service. Thank you, we'll be back!

Exciting change from local brewery fare. Rather in the upper price segment, this is justified by the high quality of the food. We sat outside and the atmosphere was very cozy.

We came without reservation but very friendly staff identified for us a table available for the next 90 minutes which was enough to enjoy one entry and fantastic crème brûlée. How deep can you fall in love with a restaurant? Hase brings together the best hospitality you'll find in Cologne, lovely food and a great vibe. They served the best entrecote I had in years. The black olive tapenade was to die for.

Personal sehr unfreundlich, ich war mit der Familie da, wollten essen, freien Tisch gesucht dann ein älterer Kellner mit dem Ton "hallo hallo wie kann ich helfen" also....das geht nicht, unser ganzen Tag hat der Typ ruiniert, wir sind aus Düsseldorf gekommen und ich glaube wir werden nie wieder nach Köln kommen

We had a reservation but we could not go ( we could bot get visa and our trip had to be cancelled) yet they charged 280 euros for not going. We paid 280 euros for a dinner that we dis not eat. This is unbeleivable. It was in their policy, I understand that the restaurant has to charge an amount for the table but if we would arrive we would pay that. The fee is huge and this is cruel

Things can get a little crowded if you arrive later, but the fact that the restaurant is busy speaks to the general appreciation from the public. Daily changing dishes, "manageable" portions, but above all very well prepared, well-balanced in taste and very neatly presented, attentive service, good timing in terms of the course flow,... What more do you want? The price is well above the system catering, but the quality is worth it. The somewhat limited wine selection doesn't bother you: you can always find the right drink. The pasta, which is prepared in front of the guests in a Parmesan cheese wheel and with freshly grated truffles, is also a nice idea. Very pleasant (I have experienced this differently in other restaurants): the guest is not complimented after a certain period of time. And what's almost even more remarkable is that guests without reservations are willing to wait outside until a table becomes available, even in winter. The only negative point: a spare roll should be kept in the toilet. Otherwise: full praise. Gladly again!

Food and service was incredible - hosts walk you through the menu and translate for you if you don't speak German. Go with their recommendations - only gripe is that they asked for a tip (ofc voluntary for the customer) at the end, which is something I wouldn't have expected from an European restaurant. It was actually very nice in the bunny today. The food and wine were delicious and the service was very friendly and attentive. I have nothing at all against a somewhat simple interior. But everything is really very narrow and very loud in the restaurant.

Super Lokal! Wir haben hier mit paar Kollegen unser Weihnachtsfest gefeiert. Mega netter Service. Unser (Wein)Glas war niemals leer, wurde immer frühzeitig aufgefüllt. Für "einfach so mal Essen gehen" ist das natürlich zu teuer. Aber ansonsten total zu empfehlen.

Das Essen und der Wein waren grundsätzlich sehr gut, allerdings ein wenig teurer, was zu einem Abzug hinsichtlich des Preis-Leistungsverhältnis führt. Der Service war äußerst zuvorkommend, sehr angenehm. Mir persönlich war es etwas zu eng, was die Sitzgelegenheiten betrifft, aber grundsätzlich ist es warm und gemütlich!

Sehr netter aufmerksamer Kellner. Super toll gegessen, zu entsprechend hohem Preisniveau. Wirklich tolle Nahrungsmittel, welche gekonnt verarbeitet werden. Wir hatten die Garnelen mit Mais zur Vorspeise, das Entrecôte mit blanchiertem Spinat und den Apfelstrudel. Die Weinempfehlung von 2001 war ebenfalls ein Gaumenschmaus. Einzig die Tische und gepolsterten Brasseriestühle dürften größer sein, weil alles sehr eng ist.

Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Die Küche präsentiert eine wechselnde Karte auf Grundlage hochwertiger Produkte. Qualität und Geschmack sind ausgezeichnet und die Preise angemessen. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich. Einziges minus, für meinen Geschmack sind die Tische sind etwas eng gestellt.

Sehr gute Küche der gehobenen Preisklasse, Tageskarte mit guter Auswahl. Bedienung machte am Anfang etwas desinterssierten Eindruck, dann aber sehr zuvorkommend und professioneller Service.

Delicious German dishes 👍🏻 the food seemed to be seasonal. we had 1) tuna risotto, 2) carrot soup, 3) chicken with baumkuchen, 4) deer, 5) entrecôte | all were tasty. The downside was the restaurant could get crowded and too loud, the service was slow.

Ein wie immer kulinarisches Highlight in schönem Ambiente. Besonders an Sommerabenden schätzen wir den Hasen und seine schöne Lage sehr.

Ein Restaurant mit ausgezeichnetem Service, guter Lage und köstlichem Essen. Es darf sehr gern mehr vegetarische/vegane Möglichkeiten geben.

Nicht nur das Mittagsmenue ist wie immer sehr schmackhaft. Montepulciano oder Spätburgunder top. Desserts wie Brownie oder Creme Brulee oder weisse Schokolade absolut hervorragend. Service freundlich und kompetent. :-( Die Tische stehen zu eng nebeneinander.

Essen und Bedienung war sehr gut. Preise sind schon sehr gehoben. War aber insgesamt sehr nett.

Update 22.03.23 Am 18.03. war es mal wieder so weit: Ein Abend im Restaurant Hase stand auf dem Programm. Um es vorwegzunehmen: Wir waren mehr als begeistert von dem, was uns hier erwartete. Die Auswahl der Vorspeise war aufgrund der sehr facettenreichen Speisekarte schwierig, so dass wir uns nach etwas vorfreudigem Grübeln für "Jakobsmuscheln & Lachs Tataki mit Mango Chutney" entschieden. Wir waren schon in vielen exzellenten Restaurants zu Gast, aber diese Vorspeise, war mit Abstand das Beste, was uns in dem Bereich je serviert wurde. Die perfekt angebratene Jakobsmuscheln bildeten ein wunderbares Pendant zum leicht limettierten Lachs. Das fruchtige Mango Chutney, ein im rote Beete Saft mariniertes Radieschen, zwei sehr schmackhafte Sößchen (Pastinake sowie Petersilie) sowie eine Avocadocreme rundeten das äußerst leckere Bild in absoluter Vollkommenheit ab. Diese Vorspeise als absolute Extraklasse zu bezeichnen, wäre noch untertrieben. Die Hauptspeise "Seeteufel, Safran Fregoca, Zuckerschoten" stand diesem in nichts nach. Ein perfekter Garzustand des Fisches, eine wunderbare Komposition der weiteren Komponenten sowie zwei harmonierende, wohlschmeckende Weißweine (Silvaner, Künstler Alte Rebe) sorgten für glückliche Gesichter und Mägen am Tisch. Nun war es unser freudiges Schicksal, dass unser Tisch direkt neben dem Zubereitungsplatz der "handgemachten Fettuccini, schwarzer Trüffel" positioniert war. Wer circa 90 Minuten lang das Schwenken der Nudeln durch den Parmesanlaib, das spannende Knistern des Trüffels sowie den Duft dieses Gaumenschmauses miterleben durfte, musste einfach unkonventioneller Weise auch nach dem Genuss der Hauptspeise hier zugreifen. Und wir bereuten keinen Bissen, die handgemachten Fettuccini waren auf den Punkt al dente, die Trüffel sowie die parmesandurchtriebene Soße äußerst schmackhaft. Alles zusammen einfach göttlich. Als Dessert wurde schlusssendlich der "New York Cheese Cake mit Erdbeersorbet" gereicht. Hier durften wir ein wunderbares Spiel von Süße und Säure miterleben. Alles in allem hatten wir einen nicht zu überbietenden Abend mit einem perfekten, sehr herzlichen Service, qualitativ höchstwertigen Speisen sowie großartigen Weinen. Auch die jüngst finalisierten Renovierungsarbeiten (Sanitärbereiche, Lichtkonzept, Schallkonzept) ergeben einen Sinn und machen einen Besuch im Restaurant zu dem was es ist: Ein schmackhaftes Gourmeterlebnis, was mehrerer Wiederholungen bedarf. ------------------------------------------------------ Wenn ein Restaurant richtig gut ist, sollte man es spontan bewerten, auch wenn es 1 Uhr nachts ist. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend im Hasen: Eine Gurkenyoghurtkaltschale - zur warmen Jahreszeit passend - mit Forelleneinlage wurde gefolgt von einem herrlich knackig schlotzigen Spargelrisotto an Gambas. Der Spargel vom Wittgeshof mit neuen Kartoffeln an Honigschinken mit einer wunderbar fluffigen Sauce Hollandaise bildete die hervorragende Hauptspeise, die abgerundet wurde von einer nicht zu übertreffenden Tonkabohnen - Erdbeertarte mit Kirschsorbet. Die Qualität der Speisen war nicht zu überbieten, die Gerichte waren raffiniert und perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Der Service war perfekt. Die Weinauswahl (Wagner Stempel 2018) stimmig. Ein herrlicher Dessertwein rundete den unvergesslichen Abend ab. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das Team des Hasens, das selbst in diesen komplizierten Zeiten solch schöne Abende möglich machen!

Ein toller Mädelsabend (64-70) ;-) Das Team hat uns sehr nett bedient, das Essen war wie immer hervorragend und sogar das Wetter hat mitgespielt so daß wir den ganzen Abend draußen verbringen konnten!

지인들이 단골이라 추천으로 함께 갔는데 정말 맛있었어요. 와인도 같이 판매하고 있어서 와인이랑 Kohlroulade 메뉴를 먹었는데 고기도 부드럽고 소스와 구운 양배추 및 감자 모두 다 맛있어서 감탄했습니다~!! 후식으로 에스프레소를 주문했는데 커피도 좋았습니다 :)

Wir sind am 27.05.2023 mit einer größeren Gruppe spontan hier her zum Essen gekommen, da wir in unserem ursprünglichen Lokal trotz Reservierung nicht bedient wurden sind. Ein Anruf bei Restaurants Hase und 20 Minuten später konnten wir 19 Personen schon unsere Bestellung bei dem wirklich netten und freundlichen Personal aufgeben. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch. Ich kann dieses super Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen und möchte mich hier noch einmal für die schnelle Hilfe bedanken.

Dit restaurant gekozen na positieve recensie gelezen te hebben op World’s Best Discovery. Zeer lekker gegeten (beperkte kaart), lekkere wijn gedronken (leuke wijnkaart met referenties uit Duitsland, Frankrijk, Spanje, Italië,..), zeer attente bediening. Het kan er wel, omdat het zo’n succes is, druk zijn en bijgevolg luidruchtig maar dat neem je er graag bij. Wij hebben circa 175€ betaald voor 2 personen inclusief apero, fles Barbera d’alba, 1 voorgerecht, 2 hoofdgerechten, 1 dessert, water en koffie. In België betaal je makkelijk 30% meer.
