Lamia Restaurant in Köln

A great restaurant with delicious food and, above all, super friendly staff who clearly enjoy their job. We felt super comfortable.

I'm currently visiting Cologne from Madrid and had dinner at Lamia with two friends last night. We took the surprise menu with 3 courses. The first was tuna tartare. I'm still dreaming about it now! The second was lamb with delicate vegetables. Very tasty, and the dessert was also unbeatable. Oh, I forgot. We had oysters first. Very good fresh goods. It tasted like MORE. The service is excellent and the owner won us over with his charm. The atmosphere is very cozy and we felt at home. In fact, we were the last guests and we only left because we had to finish work. Unfortunately I have to go back to Madrid, but I'm looking forward to the next time I'm in Cologne and go to Lamia. Oh by the way, the dishes never get boring as the menu changes every week. I'm already looking forward to the next visit. ;0)

One of the best restaurants in the city 👌. Tasty and extraordinary creations. Super fresh fish. The oysters and French fries Pont Neuf are amazing. An atmosphere to feel good thanks to the charming and hospitable owner.

Four of us stayed at Lamia. All in all it was a great evening, all the dishes we ordered were perfectly prepared. However, and this is why we deduct one star, none of us were full. A bunch more side dishes would be good for the high-priced dishes

We absolutely love the restaurant we went to for the first time. From the first to the last second, our evening was a true feast for the senses. The atmosphere is stylish and inviting, the service with Dario is incredibly attentive and warm and also somehow friendly / familiar. Thank you very much at this point!!! The highlight was our food. We decided on a surprise 3-course menu on Dario's recommendation. Our menu began with a fresh, sophisticated starter that was not only a visual work of art, but also perfectly balanced in terms of taste: a light but intense start to our culinary adventure. The main course was a sensational fish creation, accompanied by a perfectly cooked king prawn. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender as butter on the inside - an absolute taste experience that we won't soon forget. The dessert crowned the evening: a delicious, artfully presented composition that was both sweet and refreshing. A true dream for dessert lovers! We can wholeheartedly recommend LAMIA. If you are looking for exquisite food, first-class service and a special ambience, you should not miss this restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

Four of us ate at Lamia and had a wonderful evening there! Not only was the surprise menu (thung tartare/guacamole, skrei/scampi/beluga lentils, white chocolate tart/tonka beans) delicious, Dario also made sure that we felt completely at home with his friendly manner. The price-performance ratio is also right, definitely not my last visit!

The evening started well and the staff were all very friendly. The starters (tartar) cost €19 each and were very tasty. The main courses €32 and €35 ​​were both terrible. The fish dish had the quality of the university cafeteria and the steak was not chewy. We spent a total of 2.5 hours in the restaurant and after the starter we had to wait about 50 minutes for the main course. We then canceled the dessert because we no longer had that much time or patience. We weren't asked how the food was but were told off by another waiter. I would be happy to give the restaurant another chance because the starter really left an impression.

A very nice restaurant, puristically and stylishly furnished. The French fries pont neuf and the skewer were very tasty, that's the only reason I got 3 stars for the food, because unfortunately the main courses couldn't keep up. The lamb chops came completely raw, were fried and were not charged at the end. The risotto was far too soft and tasteless. The eaglefish tasted fishy. Given the prices you really expect more. Even the ouzo on the house doesn't make up for it. The service is friendly

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Cologne, mega good and extravagant food, but of course there are also less exotic options. We are always very positively surprised☺️ an absolute must if you ask me! The service is also great and you enjoy staying there! 5 stars from me!

We had a wonderful evening at Lamia. There was a great surprise menu, where even our small requests for starters and dessert were taken into account. We were recommended suitable wines for each course. The service was first class and everyone was nice and friendly. The restaurant is very nice and cozy. We can absolutely recommend Lamia and would love to come back!

A visit to Lamia is always the absolute highlight for us when we come to Cologne - delicious, delicious, and always a visual highlight. The restaurant, the furnishings and of course the art on the walls are also impressive. Absolute recommendation if you want to treat yourself to something particularly good!

Hier kann man richtig lecker Essen. Seit neuestem auch zu Mittag und es ist wirklich ein kulinarisches Erlebnis. Das stets freundliche Personal, die aufmerksamen Köche und das schöne Ambiente laden einen drinnen so wie draußen zu einem Essen ein, was man meiner Meinung nach, so schnell nicht vergisst. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch im lamia!

Everything is just right here! Food was absolutely delicious, service was really nice and accommodating! The lamia drink with white chocolate and vodka is highly recommended! The fish was very fresh and cooked perfectly! Definitely coming back!

Food was good, but the price-performance ratio wasn't right. The steak was small, hardly any side dishes for €39 - unfortunately my husband wasn't full. My pasta, on the other hand, was perfect, and I also got asparagus on request (at no extra charge), but here too the price was steep at €25. We left €100 for 2 main courses, 1 dessert and cola and water...

As long as you have to wait for food here, you lose your appetite. This is totally exaggerated.

Our visit to Lamia was unfortunately a disappointment. The selection of dishes has been greatly reduced and prices have remained higher. We had selected several starters. Unfortunately, some of the starters were barely seasoned or burnt. Unfortunately, no additional portion helps. The Lamia cannot live up to its claim at this point in time. A pity!!!

Prices were very expensive even though it was in Germany and the food was scarce, if not non-existent. I was left as hungry as I arrived and with €55 less, a plate of octopus, a tapa with a leg, €19 and fried fish, 4 pieces, €17

Many thanks to the service and the kitchen, it was a very nice experience, great ambience, very stylish, super friendly and attentive staff. The aperitif and cocktails were excellent, Lady LaMia, Limoncello Spritz and Lillet Wildberry with delicious fruits. Absolutely recommendable dishes, in terms of quality and quantity. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert.

After the reviews, we were looking forward to a delicious meal. Unfortunately we were disappointed. As a starter we had the Crevettes Rose, which was probably frozen. They were freshly cooked, but tough. The feta cheese with roasted onions was delicious, but only bread was available upon request. Our main course, the Neptune Plate, was plentiful, but the grilled vegetables, fish and chips were totally greasy. We essentially didn't like eating it. A PITY! The Greek wine was very tasty and acidic. Finally, I would like to point out that it took an extremely long time, i.e. almost an hour, until we received the starter and no bread or anything similar.

We were really looking forward to the evening in this highly praised restaurant. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The starters were good, but unfortunately the main courses did not live up to expectations given the price. One of the main courses was cold. It was taken back without any problems, unfortunately there was almost only fat on the new meat. To be fair, we weren't charged for the main course and some drinks, but unfortunately the lovely evening we had expected was over.

A fantastic tapas-style restaurant with a great wine list and great fish and meat dishes! Definitely worth a visit! We go there often and it's always delicious! A great atmosphere and a great team. We like to come back again and again.

Es war alles wunderbar: Wir haben uns verschiedene kleine Vorspeisen geteilt: fritierte Sardellen mit Pommes Frites und Aioli, pimientos del padron, Papayasalat (etwas zu teuer für es es war). Das war schon einmal ein schöner Start. Dann gab es Adlerfisch mit Risotto, Seewolf mit Kürbisgnocchi und Sellerieschaum (herrlich!) bzw. Ibericoschwein mit Süßkartoffelpüree und roter Beete. Die Beilagen konnte man kombinieren wie man wollte. Leider gab es die Entenbrust nicht mehr, 8bwohl wir sehr früh da waren, aber wir waren alle sehr zufrieden mit unseren Gerichten. Der Wein war auch gut, wenn auch nicht günstig. Leider fiel der Nachtisch dagegen sehr ab. Es war ein Erdbeerparfait auf einem eher trockenen Brownieteig. Das schmeckte wie aus der Tiefkühltruhe von ALDI. Das Ambiente war auch sehr schön. Es wurde dezente griechische Musik gespielt, und der Service war ausgesprochen nett!

Im LAMIA immer wieder voller Dankbarkeit zu Gast: beste frische Fische, feinste Austern, authentische, so feine Küche, immer wieder voller schöner köstlicher Überraschungen! Und welch herzlicher Service in einer so angenehmen, manchmal auch familiären Atmosphäre - fünf ***** sind nicht genug :-) DANKE!!!

Schön gestaltetes Speiselokal, sehr freundlich im Service, die tollen, absolut frischen Fischgerichte sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hatten diesmal den Menüvorschlag gewählt und lagen damit sehr richtig. 4 Gänge für 60 €. Gute Auswahl an Weinen. Preislich gehoben, was jedoch sehr berechtigt ist. Vorreservierung ist zu empfehlen.

Unglaublich lecker und abwechslungsreich. Dario hat uns super durch die kulinarische Vielfalt des Restaurants geführt, es war der Knaller! Die Mezes haben Individualität und lassen sich richtig gut miteinander ergänzen. Gerne wieder!

It was a very delightful night with fresh seafood and great service. The owner and the co-owner are very gentle and kind people are warm to heart and pay attention to your needs and so is the rest of the crew that works in this restaurant. The only part that wasn't fun was a group of people that would just try and get everybodys attention and being loud, it would have been solved if one of the service would have told them to quiet down. And I know they are looking to be high end cooking service and ambiance they would all get this with a good organised manager. Over all the experience was great and I enjoined the whole evening.

Ich habe dort mit Freunden meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. Dafür haben wir ein Drei-Gänge-Menü bekommen, was wirklich allen sehr gut gemundet hat. Die Vorspeisen haben wir geteilt und hatten dadurch viel Abwechslung. Den Hauptgang konnte jeder aus drei verschiedenen Vorschlägen selbst wählen. Alle waren zufrieden, auch für meine vegetarisch essenden Freunde war es gut. Ich kann das Restaurant und den netten Service wirklich empfehlen (und ich schreibe selten Bewertungen), aber dieser Abend hat es verdient.

Das Essen so wie der Service waren wie immer hervorragend. Ich kann es jedem weiter empfehlen. Die Köche gehen explizit auf die Wünsche der Kunden ein!!

Tolles Restaurant mit super Essen und viel frischem Fisch, der auch vorher gezeigt wird. Die Preise sind zwar höher aber fair für die Qualität. Der Service trifft die Qualität der Küche nicht komplett was aber wahrscheinlich an der Anzahl der Personen liegt. Freundlich und professionell sind alle.

Das Lamia ist preislich eher in der oberen Preisklasse angesiedelt, aber ein Besuch dort lohnt sich definitiv. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, die Kellner sehr nett, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam und das Essen ist ein wahrhafter Genuss. Wir hatten die Mezedes Athena für 42 € pro Person und es war wirklich sehr lecker. Zwischendurch kam sogar der Chefkoch mal kurz aus der Küche und hat gefragt, wie es uns schmeckt. Ein wirklich toller Abend in sehr schöner Atmosphäre. Absolute Empfehlung!

Stylisches Restaurant mit leckeren kleinen, oder teuren (Fisch)Gerichten - leider wurde am Schallschutz gespart. Sehr nette Inhaber, sehr zuvorkommend. Die Mezedes (griechische Tapas) sind köstlich, ausgefallen zubereitet, echt mal anders, sehr lecker und empfehlenswert. Der Preis der frischen Fische beginnt bei 30€, bis hochhinauf ;-) - die Beilagen mäßig. Sehr aufwendig und designig renoviert, aber wenn es gut besucht ist, unerträglich laut. Wir waren schon mit befreundeten Architekten hier, die nicht verstehen konnten, wie man so viel Geld in einen Umbau stecken kann und dann schallschluckende Maßnahmen auslässt :-(( Tolle Lage in einem schönen Eckhaus in Nippes, insgesamt eine Bereicherung fürs Veedel.

Wenn ich könnte würde ich 10 Sternen geben. Leider das ist im Google nicht möglich. Essen einfach toll. Die mezen ( Chef entscheidet was du bekommst) bestellt und war nicht enttäuscht. Es nicht was ich verändern möchte ( nichts zu meckern). Vorspeisen sehr lecker ( Humus, Austern usw. ;) Dorade einfach köstlich Nachtisch ein Gedicht Eine BITTE an das Kochteam. Der Hotsauce beim Austern hat mich aus dem Socken gehauen. BITTE, bitte zum Verkauf anbieten, ich weiß ich würde es literweisse kaufen. Danke an das gesamte Lamia Team für eine sehr gelungene Abend. Bedienung überfordert, Küche chaotisch, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut nicht.

Es war ein wunderbarer Abend mit hervorragendem Essen und sehr netter und aufmerksamer Bedienung, die auch auf Sonderwünsche einging. Die Karte bietet einen Mix aus Gerichten Griechenlands und Italiens, es können aber auch Austern oder kleine Vorspeisen (Mezedes) bestellt werden. Das Ambiente ist eher "Industrial chic" und minimalistisch, aber sehr stylish. Am Wochenende wird es voll und damit steigt auch der Geräuschpegel....Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren vor ein paar Wochen mit Freunden im Restaurant und unsere Erwartungen wurden erfüllt. Austern waren sehr lecker und frisch. Drei Fischgerichte waren ebenfalls sehr lecker und von hoher Qualität. Die verschiedenen Mezedes eignen sich auch gut zum Teilen. Cocktails/Longdrinks werden sehr ansprechend serviert und schmecken gut. Ambiente würde ich als modern und gemütlich beschreiben. Empfehlung: gegrillter Pulpo, Thunfischsteak, Hauscocktail. Bisher waren wir nur an einem Montag da und wissen nicht wie viel sonst los ist, aber montags war es überschaubar, wir haben trotzdem reserviert. Der Service war freundlich. Preise hoch, aber die frischen Zutaten und ein kleiner Twist in jedem Gericht können das schon rechtfertigen.

Super Ambiente wirklich sehr schick eingerichtet, Service war in Ordnung, für Kölner Verhältnisse also sehr gut, der Koch versteht sein Handwerk, der Preis kommt durch die Qualität der Gerichte, nicht die Quantität der Zutaten zustande. Die Karte ist klein und erlesen. Zu besonderen Anlässen sehr gerne wieder.
