Super delicious food and service! I love coming to the Harem, delicious meat dishes with a great 'grilled taste' and also super friendly service! We'd love to come!

Nice little beer garden with varying food quality. Grilled meat was sometimes too “burnt” for me.

Excellent Turkish food, both vegetarian and charcoal-grilled. The starters are also highly recommended, both cold and warm. The service is also very attentive.

Nice beer garden, food good and tasty. Typical local spices and preparation. Unfortunately it was a bit noisy in the beer garden, but it's hard to choose the other guests.

the food is absolutely delicious 10/10!!!! truly one of the best if not the best turkish restaurant in munich. all servers are incredibly nice and very accommodating. we were also able to watch the eurocup which is always an added bonus

Great food, really every main course is a pleasure. Tastes really fantastic and very authentic. The outdoor area is particularly suitable for families thanks to the small play area with slide and swing.

We actually just went there spontaneously. Food is really great. From the charcoal grill. Service very attentive and proactive. It would be worth 5 stars for that. Two little things. Portions are too small for me. I wouldn't have been full without the starter. Inside needs a brighter interior.

Positive: Nice location Very friendly staff Very competent employees who fulfilled every wish perfectly and quickly The food was phenomenal - from the starter to the main course to the mocha and dessert. The food is perfectly prepared and of very high quality. Reservation went smoothly. Absolutely fair price Negative: - Conclusion: If you like Turkish food, you should definitely go here. Unfortunately it wasn't as hoped, the price of the food and drinks was way too high, a juice spritzer for €5.50. Portions too small for the money. We wanted to order a salad where half of the ingredients were not available. But it should cost the same: €21.90. The starter was completely forgotten and no coffee or schnapps was offered as an excuse. There were only 3 tables occupied. You should be able to remember an order like this, especially since it was written down. There is no chai tea! Not for a long time! Just a bag of black tea! Music! Not typical Turkish music but modern songs. In just 2 hours of eating, the same song was played 3 times. And it was way too cold inside Restaurant! It's a real shame about all that money.

Harem restaurant is like mine Stammtisch 😊. I have been there so many times that I can't count. Either in summer in the little Biergarten they have on the back or in winter within this beautiful winter garden , always worth the visit. Food is so delicious! Staff is always friendly, happy. The lady who is the owner also comes to the table to greet and help us. Drinks are well serviced. I have already brought so many people to dine here that became a " must go" place. It can be a little pricey but I don't mind. The staff is amazing and food is so good that Harem is one of those places that you keep coming in and become friends with them 😊

The Harem is a Turkish restaurant that you would expect: I have already tried the menu all over the place and have never been disappointed - the food is simply delicious. Always friendly service and a very pleasant atmosphere. The relaxed atmosphere in the beer garden is particularly nice in summer. I have enjoyed coming to the Harem for years and am looking forward to my next visit! 😋

Been to many oriental restaurants now. Unfortunately that wasn't okay. I get the meat better on the grill myself. I'm sorry but it was grilled to death. I welcome the smoke aroma, but not if the meat tastes like chimney! Priced too high for what is offered. As I already said, I even ate better and for less in nicer areas of Munich... (e.g. Schwabing, Bogenhausen and the city center) That's why I don't understand the overly good reviews... I work in the catering industry myself and know what I'm talking about. So here's a little tip for you: Restaurant guests aren't big fans of "1 waiter serves you all evening, but another takes the money." This doesn’t just affect tips😉 PS: I understand... their mentality will now see this as a huge attack and they will curse me, but here too you have to think and maybe think: "Someone is taking the time to write this text - for us" Just make the best of it, in the end you'll all be adults...😉

The best Turkish restaurant I’ve ever been in Germany.

I went to the harem twice with my family. It is so beautifully furnished and decorated like a room in a palace. I particularly like the friendliness of the staff, you feel comfortable and the food is delicious. I highly recommend it. 👏👏👏👏👏

Delicious food! Definitely try the warm and cold appetizers with the homemade bread. Their specialty is grilled meat from an indoor BBQ that you can watch them grilling on. The decor is relatively simple but cozy with quite beautiful stained glass hanging lights. It’s more laid back than fancy but still nice.

The restaurant is about 4 mins walk from a nearby bus station, not difficult to find for first timers. The food was really great for me as an Asian and excellent for my boyfriend who is Turkish. I tried their Lamm Kotelett, it smells so good, taste perfect and most importantly, isn't dry. My boyfriend had ordered Kalbspieß and it also taste excellent. The salad that goes with it is homemade and is also the best. We would definitely go back on our next Munich visit.

Today we went to the harem to break the fast (İftar). All in all it was super tasty! In summer we like to eat in the garden, great atmosphere! The service was a 10/10. We'd love to come back :) Hayirli Ramazanlar 🌙

Very authentic Turkish restaurant in the west of Munich. Great service, great food and beautiful decor. The grill plate was wonderful, the charcoal aroma was sensational. Insider tip: Fistikli kebab (minced meat with pistachios) Masallah!

We were at Restaurant Harem for a birthday party. The restaurant has its own charm, food was good and sufficient. The service was very satisfactory and the staff was really friendly. Only the tables are very close to each other, which leads to space problems for somewhat full people.

The ambience corresponds to the name. It is decorated in an oriental style. The starter plates were sufficient and very tasty. However, I would have expected a little more selection. The staff very friendly and patient. Patient because we were the last guests and they let us finish our drinks. Thank you for that.

First of all, really learn what the difference is between harem and haram. Secondly, what does Abazaa Mehmet Paşa mean? Flesh was rubbery and burnt. Staff was very polite and quick. Unfortunately not recommended.

Absolutely beautiful here! The food is brilliant, the recommendation of the mixed starter platter was great and it's cozy too. And also acoustically super pleasant for entertaining. Today is not every day, we will be back - no question. 🫡

We ordered fries to pick up. You can see what came out of it in the picture. They were fried in rancid fat. They dripped so much that it dripped through the packaging. You could literally squeeze the fries like a wet towel. I'm just trying to describe the smell, just hoping I can get it out of the car. Oh yes and they also charge €6 for that. Inedible!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und angenehmen Abend. Das Essen (von der Vorspeise bis zum Nachtisch), das Ambiente und der Service waren hervorragend. Und vor allem das Künefe: sehr sehr lecker.

Vorspeisen waren hammer! Essen war hervorragend, einzig was ich sehr schade fand das Brot als Zusatz bestellt werden musste.

Das Essen war sehr gut, der Service sehr freundlich und es ist ein nettes Lokal (mit ausgesprochen schönen Lampen). Daumen hoch!

Als Allergiker bitte sehr, sehr Vorsichtig es wird nicht darauf geachtet.Ich kämpfe immer noch mit den Nebenwirkungen.

Es war leider mal viel viel besser, heute war es sehr enttäuschend

Wir sind am Wochenende im Harem gewesen, Service und Essen waren sehr gut. Das einzige was ich leider sagen muss ist das die Tische doch etwas niedrig sind, so dass die Füße kaum drunter Platz haben ohne das man sich verrenken muss. Wenn das Problem noch gelöst werden würde wäre alles Top.

Es ist gut, dass es hier Iskender gibt. Er war auch gut. Leider gibt es ihn nicht immer. Man muss oft anrufen uns Glück haben. Im oberen Teil des Lokals ist es orientalisch, das untere Teil, mit der dunklen Holztäfelung, sieht eher aus, wie eine deutsche Kneipe. Außerdem war es sehr kalt. Die Bedienung war sehr nett.

Einfach nur Hammergeil. Ich habe seit langem nicht mehr so lecker gegessen. Bitte alles so lassen es war spitze! Waren wieder mal da, könnte alles wieder bestätigen.

Had a Business dinner with my Boss at Harem Restaurant Both, Service and the quality of the food, are just outstanding! We enjoyed our stay very, very much and will come back for sure!

Vorspeise war hervorragend. Ambiente ist toll, der Serbise ist super. Hauptspeisen waren alle ein wenig trocken. Daher der Abzug. Für das Geld erwarte ich perfektes Essen und perfekten Gargrad. Das war es nicht.

Wie immer war das Essen sehr gut, nur die Portion Reis leidet etwas unter Shrinkflation. Die Bedienungen Vanja und Andi waren sehr aufmerksam und haben sich gut um uns gekümmert. Der Nachtisch KÜNEFE war wie immer hervorragend. Leider gibt es kein Efes Bier mehr ;-(

Very good Turkish restaurant with many options. Food quality was high, everything tasty. Staff was particularly friendly, service quick. The interior is simple, standard for a midrange restaurant in Germany, but you can watch dishes getting grilled live. Outside seating available. Prices are well above average but acceptable for quality and quantity served.

Sehr gute und authentische türkische Küche. Der gegrillte Lammrücken war perfekt gegrillt, rosa und superzart, besser geht es nicht! Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Chefin. Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell.

friendly, competent service cuisine with great potential unfortunately the künefe was not sizzling which actually is essential to give you the full experience of rich blend of sweet taste, molten cheese and hazelnut - instead I got an oK-ish hard cake....not the fault of kitchen staff, but rather of waiting staff: get it out to the customer, when kitchen ring the bell !!! Every bleeding minute counts with Künefe !!! But overall, the variety of barbecued lamb and the superb bread and the delicious red wine Kav doluča: absolutely fabulous
