RAMO Adana Kebab München in München

Traditional food, everything fresh, good selection, there's something for everyone.

We went to Ramo as a family. We also found the portions ridiculously small. A minced meat skewer cost €22 and came with a quarter of a tomato and a green bell pepper. The taste didn't impress me. The lentil soup was good. The dessert was dry. The mixed grill wasn't even a 10/10. We won't be back; one visit was enough.

As an Adana native, I felt like I was in Adana :) It's really delicious, friendly service, despite the 2-hour massage, I always come here. Original Adana :)

An incredibly good Adana experience! Regardless of what the negative reviews here say, this place makes the best Adana kebabs in town, maybe even in all of Germany (I haven't tried everything yet). The taste is authentic and unlike any other Turkish restaurant we've tried. Quality comes at a price, and many people seem to forget that the mezze and salad are completely FREE. The service is always top-notch, the atmosphere and music are all authentic. Enjoy your meal, and enjoy your meal.

The food was delicious, as was the staff. Unfortunately, the cigersis (liver) was cut much too large and somewhat gristly, but it tasted good. It would be better to cut it into smaller cubes. The icliköfte and lahmacun were the best I've ever eaten!

By the way, there are also dead mice sitting there.

Unfortunately, the day we went, the mindset was to get as many customers as possible, even those with reservations should wait if necessary, eat and leave immediately, and chaos reigned (details below). However, the prices demand the opposite. I hope it was because it was an unlucky day. Otherwise, there are plenty of restaurants around the Hauptbahnhof that operate on this principle and have much more reasonable prices. Perhaps a weekday would be better. The Adana kebab was good by Munich standards, but the meat's sinews weren't properly removed. The sumac and onions could have been served more tender. We didn't try the other dishes. Tea wasn't available or had run out early (which isn't uncommon in Türkiye). Despite our reservation, we only managed to get to our table 15 minutes later. However, as soon as we finished our meal, we were greeted with attitudes that urged us to leave: a childish waiter trying to take our coffee before we were even finished, no tea (which is on the menu), different waiters asking us every minute what we wanted, etc. Furthermore, while we were eating, a chair was removed from our table without question. These situations unfortunately overshadowed the friendly service of the waiters.

Authentic Turkish restaurant. Great staff, delicious food.

A good choice for those craving Turkish cuisine; we enjoyed the hot and cold mezes. Some of the meat was undercooked, tender but bloody. I don't quite understand those who say the price is 20-30 euros per person. Adana kebab is 23 euros, Ramo kebab is 33 euros. So, even if you only eat one kebab, it's over that price. A few appetizers, alcohol, and dessert add up to over 50 euros per person.

I died of happiness while eating the couplet. This may be my last comment.

Interestingly, one day the Adana dürüm costs €14, and another day it's only €12. The quality isn't consistent either. Sometimes it tastes really good, and other times I wonder how different the meat from the same animal can taste. Today I'm really disappointed!

Everyone is so friendly, which is the most important thing to me. The food is also delicious, we're here for Saturday fixes.

I'd been looking for a good Turkish restaurant for a long time, and I have to say, these guys really know their stuff! I've never eaten such good Adana kebab. An extremely pleasant experience at this restaurant. The food is truly excellent, and the meat is very tender. I had the Ramo plate and my girlfriend had the lamb chops. Everything was truly of a very high standard. The atmosphere and ambiance in the place are truly top-notch. You feel like you're in a restaurant in the middle of Turkey.

Wow! A very similar experience to Turkey. My friend recommended this place to me, and it didn't disappoint at all. Food quality, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. Be prepared to pay a few extra euros, though, as prices can be higher than an average meal in Munich, though it's totally worth it.

We visited this restaurant spontaneously and were completely impressed. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, especially the minced meat, and we were offered a "child's portion" for our little son. The salad and dips beforehand were also great!

The best kebab shop I've ever eaten at. There's a big selection, there are single-plate dishes, I had salmon, the others had something similar. The guys are nice, the service is fast and they prepare their dishes from very high-quality ingredients, with the right seasoning. It was a perfect choice after the BMW museum.

We discovered this Turkish restaurant recently, and it was such a nice experience. The staff are really warm and friendly, which makes you feel at home right away. I ordered lahmacun, and honestly, it’s so hard to find a good one in Munich, but here it was just perfect, crispy on the edges, and soft in the middle. We also had a soup and a gavurdağı salad, both were good. I’m already excited to come back because I really want to try their kebabs next time. We went a bit late in the evening so they didn’t have any tea left, but that just gives me another reason to return. And by the way, thanks for the watermelon :)

I was thrilled at the Ramo restaurant on Riesenfeldstraße – the Adana kebab was incredibly aromatic, juicy, and perfectly grilled. The service was warm and attentive, and there were lovingly served appetizers like meze for free – an all-around delight that I highly recommend.

Since we're from Austria and occasionally visit Munich, we like to go to Ramo. For me, the food there simply tastes the best – as a trained chef, I highly recommend it. You especially shouldn't miss the kunefe, it's simply amazing 😊.

Today, four of us had Turkish food at a reserved table starting at 2:00 PM and actually stayed for three hours for a relaxing break. The restaurant is visually divided into two parts: on the left, blue, fish, and on the right, grilled and lamb dishes, with an open doorway. The ambiance is wonderful, and with its oversized grill, it's unusually and beautifully decorated. The food is Turkish fish and lamb, delicious and delicately prepared with plenty of sauces, and compels us to linger. The owner-managed business has very friendly and attentive staff. We received attentive service. Thank you for everything, good luck!

A wonderful restaurant, perfect food! Excellent service, something you rarely experience these days. I'll be back. My dog was immediately provided with water and asked if he could have some unseasoned meat, which was very kind.

My dear daughter-in-law, who knows I love kebab, saw it by chance and said, "We loved it, I hope you do too." We went. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is friendly, and the service is excellent. The Adana Kebab was delicious, as good as anything in Türkiye. I highly recommend it. I had it delivered to my son's house before leaving, and he immediately noted the address. I thank everyone involved. Ramo Adana Kebab is now my kebab shop. 😋

Friendly service, and a real Turkish flair. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the dishes. For example, the grilled meat was very sparsely presented, with no side dishes other than a sprig of parsley and some greens, and relatively little meat. Only the extra side dishes made me feel full. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio wasn't satisfactory. The taste was okay, but it didn't justify the meal.

I dont understand the comments about the portion size and the prices. The portions are pretty big and fulfilling. Yes it might be a bit pricier than some places, but it is worth it, you get very good quality kebap similar to the good places in Turkey. Also I dont see anyone complaining about prices, mentioning all the free meze, salad and cay you get. This is a very nice authentic kebap place, dont confuse it with fake kebap doner places.

I recommend it to lovers of grilled meat, fish and Turkish food. It is a clean restaurant with great service. In the picture is Hajj Hassan Al-Turki, who founded the restaurant and is now run by his sons and grandchildren.

We recently visited Ramo and were looking forward to a cozy evening with good Turkish cuisine. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. We ordered the grill platter for three people – in other Turkish restaurants, this is usually a generous portion, which would actually satisfy three averagely hungry people. However, what we were served was surprisingly small and disproportionate to the price. When we politely asked the waiter about the small portion, we received the curt reply that it was "normal." We're not overly hungry or overweight guests – but after our meal, we actually had to go to another restaurant to get our fill. The price is simply outrageous for the amount served. The food tasted okay, but given this value, we definitely won't be coming back. What a shame.

I am writing as a colleague. The kebab was sour. It had dried out in the fridge. It was minced in a meat grinder. The meat was lumpy because it was not cleaned expertly. I did not like it at all.

Whether it's 11 p.m. or 3 a.m., they don't care that their neighbors want to sleep. Instead, they sort their glass recycling in their backyard as if they were the only people in the world. Maybe they'll start to consider other people after reading this. So far, they've ignored every complaint.

It was the best place I've experienced in Munich. The food was excellent and the service was very good. Everyone was smiling. That was my favorite part.

I went to the Ramo restaurant with my companion on Sunday, and we were thrilled! The food was absolutely fresh, delicious, and perfectly seasoned. The grilled meat was a particular highlight. The service was also excellent: The waiters were attentive and friendly, and we especially noticed that waiter Cem was super warm and accommodating! The ambiance was cozy and stylish; we felt completely at home. We will definitely be back. A definite recommendation!

The first impression was good. We were served right away. We ordered shashlik. We really liked the shashlik. We give the shashlik a thumbs up 👍But at one point, when we had almost finished eating, my husband told me that there was a cockroach crawling on our table 🪳 Guys, this cockroach climbed onto a plate where there was lavash and flatbread. My husband took the plate with that cockroach and brought it to the staff. So you understand, they just took the plate away and didn't even react as if nothing had happened!!!! That's why I give the staff a thumbs up 👎👎👎👎I hope that the authorities will come to visit you soon to conduct an inspection.🆘🆘🆘

Very friendly waiters. But unfortunately the food is not that varied. The minced meat from the Adana kebab skewer, for example, didn't taste like good, high-quality minced meat at all. It had a weird aftertaste and wasn't that special. There were several of us and we cannot recommend Adana Kebap as it is not authentic enough and tasty enough like in Turkey. There isn't even bulgur or rice with the main dishes, or any noodles or special soups or anything like that? Something much too inflexible, the kitchen and the dishes. You can't put it together individually because the price still remains expensive. In some way far too few side dishes and far too little selection of special dishes. Otherwise, the employees are very friendly and helpful. A very nice atmosphere in terms of the ambience, great like being on vacation. But good music was a bit missing when we were there. We have come several times, with different people. Sometimes the kitchen closes a little early. But unfortunately that's how it is all over Munich at the moment.

I absolutely can't understand all the positive reviews. Some of the meat is even added to the plate. Portions are small. Service and ambience aren't exactly inviting or appealing either. I can't understand the hype.

We called on the way and reserved a table. Without asking our name, the reservation was confirmed - which seemed a bit strange to us. When we arrived around 7pm there was a table available but the food was a disappointment. Adana was sold out – completely different than expected. Overall a disappointing experience. Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant didn't convince me. The price-performance ratio is simply not right here: the dishes are significantly too expensive for what is on offer. The service was particularly disappointing - we had to wait a long time, both for the order to be taken and for the food itself. The staff seemed stressed and not attentive. The ambience also left a lot to be desired. The tables and chairs were wobbly, making sitting uncomfortable, and the room had very tight seating. As a result, you didn't feel comfortable and had hardly any privacy. Overall, I expected a lot more from this restaurant and probably won't visit it again.

We ordered the mixed grill. It was very poor value for money and almost all the meat was not fully cooked and even when served it was cold. We were not satisfied at all and I do not recommend it to anyone.

I recently had the pleasure of eating at this Turkish restaurant and it was simply outstanding! The starter was fresh and full of flavor, a perfect start to the meal. For my main course I had the Adana Kebap and I have to say it was one of the best I've ever had. The meat was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned - simply delicious! There was also a freshly prepared Cay (Turkish tea), which rounded the whole thing off wonderfully. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very welcoming and authentic. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant!

At first we were unsure whether we should go in because the restaurant looks rather inconspicuous from the outside. But luckily we did! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, authentic and prepared with a lot of love. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely courteous service, which made our visit even more pleasant. If you love good Turkish food, you shouldn't be fooled by external impressions - this restaurant is a real recommendation! We'd love to come back.

This is one of three restaurants on Riesenfeldstraße that I can always recommend. The food, ambiance, and service are all top-notch. Filling up is a pleasant side effect with the meat and fish dishes. In winter/cold temperatures, the patio heaters keep everything nice and warm and cozy. And you can easily find a seat even without a reservation.
