I recently dined at Ramo, an authentic Turkish gem in Munich. From the warm welcome to the cozy ambiance, everything was perfect. The mezze were an explosion of flavors, and the ramo grill platter was cooked to perfection, accompanied by delicious sides and fresh made bread. The staff's genuine generosity and hospitality stood out, making the experience truly memorable. To top it off, the kunafe was a sweet, flaky delight that transported me straight to Turkey. In a city full of dining options, Ramo shines. Highly recommended for an authentic experience!

Better Turkish food than in Berlin, all Munich residents who are looking for good Turkish food just come to Ramo Baba, the highlight is the warm, steaming bread. Service was very attentive, everything was perfect

Ordered grill plate for 31.90. Half an Adana, no Tavuk sis but 2 small chicken wings (mini) and otherwise very little meat and not even rice. Price performance is the worst Turkish restaurant I have ever visited, unfortunately by far. But the bread was tasty and meze was okay.

Hello, unfortunately I was disappointed, we chose Ramo menu twice, mixed plate for 2 people. The portion was definitely very small, there was a small wooden bench on it, only 1 piece of Adana kebab, 4 small pieces of chicken, a kofta, 2 Biber tomatoes, 4 mini pieces of beef skewer and 2 small pieces of cutlets. No rice with it but salad. The food was very tasty but small. The appetizer was delicious and free. I paid €63.80 for this wooden bench and left hungry.

We did not break the tradition.. During this year's Crismis holiday, we came from Italy and stopped by Ramo again.. We came a full 1250 km.. But it was worth it.. Friendly manager, polite staff and wonderful tastes.. We felt like we were in our country again.. Thank you for everything.. See you next year..

Update even a year later there is nothing to add to the review, the restaurant is still an absolute highlight. We were here today with the whole family and were completely thrilled. The food was great and the portions were completely sufficient. There is Turkish pizza for children, just ask, it's not on the menu. Each dish includes salad, bread and starters. The service is also particularly noteworthy, our waiter was super nice and gave us excellent advice on choosing the dishes.

It is definitely not a place to go. We ordered eggplant kebab and mixed kebab, but they put the food in front of us without cooking it, we told the waiter, he immediately took it back and brought it back 1-2 minutes later, but it was still not cooked, the prices were very expensive even though it was like this, I definitely do not recommend it, anyone who goes there should think twice.

The two of us came today with my German work colleague and ate Kuzu Şiş, which was tasty but neither of us were full. The portions are definitely too small or you should offer rice or fries as a side dish.

No recommendation. Waited 45 min for two Adana Kebap. Guests who came after us were served before us (after we reported, we were told we had been forgotten). There was no rice and only a portion of fries was brought as a replacement. Price-performance doesn't fit either. 23 € for a minced meat skewer with a few onions and a piece of tomato. Taste wise a 4/10.

I am writing as a native of Gaziantep. The amazing food is very good. Every time you go to Munich, my wife and children always stop by and eat and the food is always great. It feels like I am in a restaurant in Gaziantep. 👍👍

The delicacies will make you feel like you've been transported straight to the streets of Istanbul! Very attentive service! My highlight were the appetizers that come with the main course!

I had already called at lunchtime to find out whether and what the places and process were. At that point everything was still ok. I was assured that if I arrived before 11 p.m. everything would still be possible. Unfortunately, as soon as we arrived, the only option was a minced meat skewer (Adana). Since I came with someone, I accepted this. Alcoholic drinks were only served until 11 p.m. was the second surprise. But what was really disappointing was that a guest who came to the restaurant after us was still served with everything. Sorry, but being treated second-class as a customer is not acceptable. Ramo... unfortunately for me a disappointment in everything.

No stars deserved! This is not a restaurant but a snack bar in my opinion. Outside walls with plastic wrap, it's so cold and the middle is smoky from the grill. Very loud there :( Food too expensive for the quality on offer! Luckily our 8 year old child didn't eat any peppers, I could hardly breathe because it wasn't peppers as described on the menu, but pepperoni. The waitress said that it happens that “paprika” is very spicy. Unfriendly staff, I don't understand where the good reviews come from.

This Turkish restaurant is a must-visit if you’re looking for an authentic kebab and grill experience. They offer a wide variety of traditional Turkish kebabs and even have an impressive selection of rakı, including Yeni Rakı, Tekirdağ Gold, and Beylerbeyi Göbek. Compared to other Turkish restaurants in Munich (not counting döner spots), this place is the most affordable without compromising on quality. Plus, they serve 3 complimentary mezes and pide, including acılı ezme and haydari, which is a nice touch. The lahmacun is a standout – handmade, perfectly crispy, and delicious. It’s hard to find a real, traditional lahmacun like this anywhere in Munich, maybe even Berlin. We also tried the Ramo kebab and Adana kebab, both of which were fantastic. One major plus is the quick service; even when the restaurant is full, our food arrived just 10 minutes after ordering. The only downside was the dessert – the künefe was disappointing, especially if you’ve had it in Turkey. Still, the friendly and attentive Turkish staff make the dining experience enjoyable and welcoming.

Great food and fast service! We went without booking and they told us to take a walk and come back in 20 minutes so they could find us a table. We returned exactly 20 minutes later and they had forgotten about us but they still created a place for us exactly in front of the entrance.

Meat was absolutely not cooked through... the kitchen was extremely loud. Staff service was good. Otherwise not recommended..

In my opinion, the best meat restaurant in Munich. You just can't beat charcoal. I'm a regular customer and have never been disappointed. Quality and service are always absolutely top. ALL the employees, but also the owners themselves, were very friendly and accommodating. You can also quickly eat and drink something alone here, or spend a wonderful evening with family and friends with liters of RAKI (very large selection). The quality of all types of meat is above average. That's why I don't understand some of the reviews regarding the price/performance ratio. Good beef and lamb costs money everywhere. Please do not compare with places that mainly work with pork, where the kilo is bought from Poland for three or five euros. Since it is very busy, especially on weekends, you should definitely reserve in advance. And this is a meat and fish restaurant! Vegetarians and vegans don't have to complain that the selection is limited.

This is one of 3 restaurants on Riesenfeldstrasse that I can always recommend. Everything here is of the highest quality in terms of food, ambience and service. Getting full is a nice afterthought when it comes to meat and fish dishes

Great fire grilled meat ! Really nice and fast service. Simply a great place. They offer a salad with bread and sauces for starters without extra payment. And I guess a small coffee at the end. Fantastic place I must come back here someday!

Definitely recommended for all meat lovers. I've eaten Adana kebab very often and only a few were very good. RAMO Adana Kebap is one of those you should definitely eat, thumbs up 👍🏻.

The meat was dry, tough and had no flavor at all, which is particularly disappointing for Adana kebab as one usually expects juicy, well-seasoned meat. The portions were also far too small for the high price. The service wasn't any better either. The staff was unfriendly and we had to wait a long time for our food despite the empty shop. When I asked for some additional sauce it was refused with an annoyed tone. Overall it was a disappointing experience, both in terms of food and service. I definitely won't visit this store again. Of course, you can customize this further if you have any other specific points!

RAMO Adana is absolutely recommended! The food was simply outstanding - the Adana Kebab was super fresh and perfectly seasoned. The other dishes we tried were also great. The wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive, which made the entire experience even better. A real highlight for anyone who loves good Turkish food. We'll definitely be back!

I have tried many Turkish Kebap places in southern Germany. This was the best one I tried. The portion sizes are pretty big. All sides, kunefe, tea etc. was very nice. I definitely recommend. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is also very authentic and nice. Real charcoal grill is the real magic. Definitely worths to come to a little outside of the Munich city center.

Unfortunately, considering the portions, the prices are quite high. It is not nice to ask 14 euros for 2 lahmacuns (so small they are almost hazelnuts). I hope the business will consider making an adjustment to the prices as soon as possible, because we do not plan to come again under these conditions.

We wanted 2 lentils and 1 mixed kebab, the lentil soup was nice, but the mixed kebab came to the table heated 5 minutes after the soup. It was previously made and cold, but when the customer requested it, it was heated and brought 🤦🏻‍♀️ and when we realized that it was not freshly made, we told the waiter, so the waiter took it again, heated some of it and brought it again. As you can see, the dish was heated twice, we don't even do this at home.. A good master would never treat his customer like this. Don't make a mistake.. This is the service we received when we wanted to eat a nice, hot, fresh Adana by the stove. Also, when it comes to taste, unfortunately, it was not good, the appetizers were bad, I saw a barren style appetizer with Adana kebab for the first time, I will not mention the paste.. It is definitely not a service that deserves the price you pay. ..

Rezillik always the same with our people!!

The food, service and atmosphere are excellent. We have been going there since we moved to Munich with my family and their kebab/lahmacun is the same as in Turkey and even better than some places in Turkey. There are a lot of things to choose from the menu, including bakik, I definitely recommend you try the anchovy pan.

We liked it, it was close to the BMW museum, the location was in a quiet place, the food was delicious, but the prices seemed expensive to us.

The worst Turkish restaurant I have ever visited outside of Türkiye. The meat dishes were overcooked. The hummus contained no tahini or olive oil, and worse, it contained garlic, which it shouldn't. The Sütlaç was served in a disposable aluminum bowl. Despite all this, the prices are also quite expensive. I don't recommend it at all.

We were there for the second time, I thought it was tasty, but the price was a bit expensive. There is only one skewer with the Adana Kebab, which also looked slightly disintegrated. There was an extra salad and I think 4 mezzes. But I would have preferred one less mezze but one more skewer for the price. The taste of the Adana skewer was very tasty. Service was nice, but what was disappointing was that it took a little longer for the food to arrive. When we ordered the dessert, after waiting 30-40 minutes, we canceled it (since we had apparently been forgotten) and then asked for the bill (which we also waited a little long for). At the tables next to me I noticed that the customers had been waiting impatiently for their bill for a long time. There is a nice and good wine selection (also Turkish) When the weather is nice, it's nice to sit outside.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We ordered Adana and fish - Adana tasted great, but the fish didn't blow us away and was rather boring in taste. Delicious meze and pide are served with the main courses, but the portions of the main courses could be a bit larger for the price (e.g. serve rice with Adana). Therefore only 4 stars overall, there is still room for improvement.

Eggplant kebab is recommended when in season. It was delicious overall. Ezme and haydari could be improved a little more. If the prices were a little more reasonable, I would definitely say that you should go and try it. On average, 1 kebab and a drink will cost 25-30 €.

Very nice ambient paired with friendly and nice staff. Unfortunately, portions are not matching the prices... for such high prices I would expect portions to be regular size or bigger... not smaller than everywhere else I have eaten. Food is tasting okay... and definetly doesnt justify the prices.. We also got a fish which had 1 potato, 1/4 onion and 2 spoons of terrible tasting salad as a side dish. Fish was also served raw and unfortunately we didnt come to a sushi place. We were very excited to try such a good looking place. But since we left, we cant wash out the taste of being decieved from our mouth.

I bought 2 Adanas to take away, they were tasteless raw and the skewer crumbled and was dry, really disappointed at the price. Never never again. Called and said that the right Adanas were like that and he knows best because he comes from Adana to know a good Adana you don't have to be from Adana!!!

The meat is halal but they have a wall full of alcohol. Price performance is catastrophic. Likewise the taste of Adana Kebab. Hygiene among employees is also not very important. I recommend looking for another store.

I had dinner with my family. Unfortunately the fish wasn't cooked through. You couldn't even eat it. The fish was also full of blood. The waiters were always friendly, but the waiting time was very long.

I am a big fan of turkish cuisine and I was happy to find a good looking turkish place in Milbertshofen. The main dishes didn’t disappoint - we ordered the Adana kebab and Bifteki wrapped in bread. The dishes came with a tzatziki side dish and two other sides that contained bulgur, but I couldn’t recognise all the tastes inside. The side dishes were very good, but tzatziki is greek so I didn’t really enjoy it with the whole idea.. hummus or something with aubergine would’ve made more sense in my opinion. There was also a compliment salad, but it was not good.. We would’ve been just as pleased without it. The atmosphere is great and definitely family friendly. The restaurant was full, which leads me to think it is very much enjoyed by the locals, which is great! The food was served fast which we liked as well. The staff wore gloves while cooking as well!

In my opinion there are only a handful of restaurants that deserve the full 5 stars as much as Ramos Adana Kebab. This applies to all evaluation criteria. First of all: I ordered an Adana and a Ramo (mixed) grill plate. The meat, especially the Adana Kebab, was incredibly flavorful, juicy and yet crispy on the outside. The smoke aromas, which probably come from the charcoal grill, are particularly noticeable. Extremely friendly service, who pleasantly often ask how you are doing. The starters (meze) together with the flatbread provided were remarkably appetizing. The fluffy, soft flatbread should also be emphasized here. Thank you for the experience :) I hope to be able to dine here often!
