Simply perfect from start to finish! The welcome was warm, the staff attentive, caring, and professional. The food was an absolute delight—fresh, lovingly prepared, and delicious. I particularly want to highlight the vegetarian options; they were a real highlight! The ambiance is just right, too: stylish, cozy, and designed with great attention to detail. You can immediately tell the passion that goes into making this place. I'll definitely be back—a clear recommendation!

Very nice but really expensive, the drinks are very good and you can't lean on some tables

Service was super nice, extra water was brought for the dog, super fast service, burgers were delicious.

Food tastes mediocre, I didn't even taste the mushrooms on my burger and the meat was only very light, fries were quite normal and the cocktails were extremely bad but then 46 euros for 2 menus? I felt robbed afterwards.

Great selection and variation options. Also highly recommended for vegetarians/vegans. Lots of tables to choose from, not a long wait.

The salad from my companion was carelessly cut and uninspired. There was talk of grilled vegetables in the salad, but there was little of it. My companion can expect more for the money in the lunch menu. My menu was great.

During today's stroll through Oldenburg we stopped here to have some lunch. The selection and variation options for the burgers are great and make the choice really difficult. Once we finally decided the food came quickly and was really tasty. The service was very patient and attentive. All around, everything was great.. we will probably visit “Hans im Glück” more often in the future.

We were there in the summer during the Olmun festival and therefore received a small discount, which was important since we were still students at the time, and a visit to this restaurant is quite expensive for student standards. The food was quite good, but nothing special, and the prices were very, very high. Since we were all still students, and as I said, eating here was already quite expensive for our circumstances at the time, and we didn't find the food outstanding even then, we didn't tip. As we were leaving, we overheard the waiter/head waiter loudly complaining to a colleague that "those Olmun guys" hadn't tipped even though we were getting a discount, and that they were now making a loss. Apart from the fact that when you tip, you don't really assume that it's going to fund your profits, but rather as a bonus for the waiters, a restaurant can't rely on tips to fund its profits. Besides, as I said, we were students who could hardly afford a visit to this place anyway, and tipping isn't mandatory; it's voluntary if you're very satisfied, which we weren't anyway. So, the guy who served us there was pretty disgusting, and the place is disgusting if they pocket the tips themselves. There have been a few scandals about Hans im Glück lately anyway, and nothing surprises me anymore.

It was just very nice, we got there a little earlier than we had reserved and were assigned a table straight away. The food was simply delicious and very tasty, as were the drinks and the staff was extremely friendly, the atmosphere was inviting and interesting. Definitely highly recommended, we didn't have to wait long for our food. All in all, we are very satisfied and would love to come back!

Well, unfortunately the service isn't very good. I was there in the afternoon and there was hardly anything going on. I was politely asked to come to the table and say they would come straight away and take my order. But then all the other tables were collected in peace. After almost 10 minutes I left. I sat at Peter Pane for 20 seconds and someone took care of it. That's how it works.

Nothing to sit comfortably. The quality of the food is really not good. Completely unbalanced in taste. The fries are better without the red and white that is on the table. A tiny goat herder burger for €12.50. The kebab next door is a taste explosion.

Bad service and impossible operation.

We had dinner as a family since it is my daughter's favorite place to go out to eat. We ordered some lemonades (very soft for my taste, they need more lemon), some hamburgers, potatoes and sweet potato. Without a doubt, the various sauces that are on each table are a success, which are the ideal complement. I didn't like at all that on the menu we didn't find any sweet option for dessert. Generally a very nice place to eat a good burger.

The food was ok. I would have liked to have dessert straight after dinner, but I couldn't get it because the kitchen had already turned off the deep fryer. We didn't even have the chance to order this dessert in time because the waitress hardly came to our corner and was rarely seen. It was a real shame that we chose this restaurant for our 10th wedding anniversary.

We wanted to go there for dinner as a family yesterday, around 6:00 p.m., the shop was mostly empty. A greeting like hello or moin is a foreign word there, instead there was a “colleague is coming soon” and you were prevented from walking through! Free choice of seating is not desired, the intended location next to the entrance door, with various free tables, an impertinence, as it is in a draft. Plans to eat there are canceled and there won't be a second attempt there either. Anyone who shows so little interest in customer service is not worth our money!

The service was really unfriendly, it was only when a colleague took over our table that a smile was put on our faces again! We ordered using the qr code and ordered in one order, but the warm food came first and then the bowl, which makes no sense when my wife and I go out to eat together. Even McDonalds manages to bring the burgers to the table at the same time and warm! So if we enter this restaurant again, we first look for who is serving us and then order. Now that we have heard that the male colleague also sent away a father with a stroller four days ago and shouted through the store, we will probably avoid this place. Our tip: More employees who are more relaxed and nicer and maybe talk to the person in charge about it, then the positive reviews will work!

Super extensive vegan range. Everything tasted great! The only thing missing was a play area for our kids :)

We were there this afternoon with our baby in the stroller. Unfortunately we weren't able to get a table because a stroller wasn't allowed... Sad but true…. That was the last time. There were enough tables available!

The double burger, cheesy cheese is highly recommended. We shared a normal portion of fries and brought a bottle of Riesling. Fast and friendly service and the burgers are really tasty! Gladly again soon...

Heerlijk eten, heel snel aan tafel gebracht en ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Ruime keuze maar vooral de huisgemaakte ijsthee maakte de ervaring geweldig.

In and of itself the food was very good. Unfortunately, one of my daughters' burger buns was completely burned, we complained about it immediately, we were offered a new burger because my daughter wouldn't have eaten it (4 year olds are weird, I know 😂) and we declined. Nevertheless, we had to pay the full price and we also had to pay for the additionally ordered (2 x 1 scoop). I know, complaining on a high level but that was just a downer.

Unfortunately I have to withdraw my 5* rating. We eat at your place at least once a week and today was the day that should have been the last time! We were greeted with a “Where are you from?” because we entered the store (which was open and filled with people) despite a “closed” sign on the door to inquire. Everything was okay, but the reaction from the employee was the worst! We are shocked. We come here from Vechta for an extra hour. Bottomless, really! I'm hoping for a response before I take any further steps.

The first thing I noticed was that this location is really, really tight. Even if you're quite slim, it's very cramped at the tables and in the aisles. If you have a little more on your hips, it quickly becomes uncomfortable. The rest of the ambience is like that of other HiG locations. Quite simple, but nice. The food was good except for the fact that instead of ordering a vegan burger, one with meat was initially brought to me. After a note to the service staff, the dish was replaced quickly and without any problems. The staff was relaxed, very nice and helpful.

The service was nice but also very cold. This is somehow suboptimal for serving food. The food was ok but nothing more. For a burger for 13.50 I expect more than a dry patty and a carelessly thrown together burger. Cappuccino tasted like nothing and the hot chocolate was lukewarm. Despite the lunch menu, 2 people without any extras cost just under 50 euros. That doesn't fit at all for me. Our colleagues at other burger shops are better at it.

Ein wirklich liebevoll und schön gestaltetes Lokal mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Nur leider haben uns die Burger nicht wirklich überzeugt. Sie waren zwar geschmacklich gut abgestimmt aber die Pattys doch recht dünn und leider auch trocken und die Buns etwas verbrannt. Dafür insgesamt zu teuer. Schade.

Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Die bestellten Burger (normal und vegetarisch) waren super lecker und mit den Saucen perfekt abgeschmeckt. Ein großes Dankeschön richtet sich an den freundlichen, hilfsbereiten und zuvorkommenden Service, so macht ein Besuch bei euch doppelt Spaß.

Die Mitarbeitenden waren alle freundlich, aber auch gestresst. Es war sehr gut besucht, sodass sogar eine Mitarbeiterin ihren Urlaub nicht nehmen durfte. Dies habe ich in einem öffentlichen Gespräch im Restaurant mitbekommen. Da denke ich, dass dies mit besserer Planung durch das Führungspersonal möglich gewesen wäre. Es waren viele Mitarbeitende vor Ort und sie wirkten nicht unterbesetzt. Ich habe mich dadurch irgendwie unerwünscht gefühlt, dabei war das Gesagte nicht an uns gerichtet, aber ja schon im offenen Restaurant so laut besprochen, dass die Gäste es mitbekamen. Trotzdem haben sich alle viel Mühe gegeben. Das Essen war lecker und wurde schnell gebracht. Besonders die Süßkartoffelpommes fand ich gut. Den Burger fand ich etwas unliebevoll angerichtet, aber geschmacklich gut. Es gab eine große Auswahl an Burgern mit Fleisch, vegetarisch und vegan. Zwischendurch wurde wortlos eine Notiz auf den Tisch gestellt, ab wann der Tisch wieder reserviert ist. Das empfanden wir als Zeitdruck, da man so die ganze Zeit eine Uhrzeit vor der Nase hatte. Die Gestaltung des Raumes fand ich ansprechend. Die ganzen Birkenstämme waren schon außergewöhnlich. Da das Restaurant aus eigentlich nur zwei großen Räumen besteht war es ziemlich laut. Optisch haben sie sich aber Mühe gegeben den großen Raum zu unterteilen und mit den kleinen Häuschen am Rand des Raumes kommt eher das Gefühl von Privatsphäre auf.
