I may have been lucky but now that I read the other comments I wonder: have I been to another restaurant? For being in an airport and a separate transfer area (K) I would say that for a hot meal, at this price, I would say it was a success. And then the Italian staff, a fairy tale. Come on! P.S.: look carefully at the menu, the lunch combo is the sandwich + €9.50.

We were directly refused with our 5 students claiming that they did not have a place despite 2 free tables. We offered to make two tables, 1 of 3 and one of 4 but the waiter signaled us to go eat opposite without even a goodbye.

Got two vegan burgers: Knusperschote and Wolpertinger. One of the best burgers I have had. A lot of flavor and juicy!

Exceeded my expectations! The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, with generous portions at great prices. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely my go-to spot for quick and tasty meals!

My dinner at Hans im Glück was excellent, regardless of my special requests, the staff served me in a friendly manner. I look forward to coming here again. Big praise to the team

Can't give opinion on food as food never arrived, after 1hour waiting on a stool smaller than a buses' folding seat, both shoulders stuck between a wall and a false tree. I had spent the time I had for my connection. One more restaurant chain that surfs on its reputation : overpriced hamburgers, underpaid and understaffed employees...

The place is half empty, but unfortunately there is no room for a family of 3 because the children might be loud. Extremely unfriendly employee!

Great service by a waiter who manages all the tables. Burger was a hit dry but sauces were delicious so that helped and it was the only sit down restaurant in this part of the terminal with a waiter.

All in all the food was good and quick in arriving, the waiter from Campania who speaks any language who served us a character... as soon as he opens his mouth he ruins that hour-long pause that we allow ourselves, I have never seen a ruder person, it takes courage to leave him a tip...I give one star for the service but he doesn't even deserve that, I also speak for the nearby tables who promptly kept quiet in every language to give his unsolicited explanations, in a truly aggressive manner, terrible.

Pleasant stay at Munich Airport at Hans im Glück Extremely friendly staff and delicious food. Fast service. Exactly what you would expect. Here the staff knows how to serve guests. Highly recommend came.

Burger restaurant inside terminal 2 at the beginning of gates K. Nice and well-kept place (for what it is usually found). The waiter/apparent person in charge was very rude and dry. Decent burger for about €12 on average, with a “menu” of fries and drinks for another €12 more. It was full and they were still very fast serving

Very fine chicken strips with a subtle, fine, spicy crust. Caesar salad. Attentive service. Clean.

In addition to the already described "wait" at the entrance - the staff was chattering - we were rudely informed that all vegan and vegetarian burgers were not available until further notice. The whole type of service and offer conveyed a certain indifference, as airport guests fluctuate anyway and are therefore not dependent on the individual guest. Too bad. 7 people waiting to be sited in a half empty restaurant with 3 waiters sitting and doing nothing. Terrible in-existent service!!! Impolite useless waiter who pushed through us twice being very impolite. Management should do something about it. (5/12/2025 17:30)

Normally I have good experience in Hans I'm Glück restaurants. But today at the airport it was different. I was mostly disappointed by service. The server (Mr. Gashi) attitude was bellow acceptable. He acted annoyed and bothered when I got there to be sitted. Later he mixed up my order and brought me a wrong drink. Even when I wanted to pay he sighed reluctantly. He almost gave a feeling he's forced to work there and we the customers are a huge inconvenience to him. Normally I don't expect a lot from a server, but this was very unprofessional and uncomfortable

The food was very tasty and so was the iced tea. Price for the airport is also quite ok

Rude staff, don't go there, I asked for a hamburger without some ingredients being allergic and they told me to fuck off, when they said the kitchen was already closed but other people were ordering. Really awful, terrible burgers at 8.15pm not even closing.

I waited a long time for my food, even though it was already there ready to be picked up. We basically had contact with each other, only the lady at the checkout had better things to do and her colleagues preferred to eat fries in the kitchen. Only the cook was busy. Burger was ok, what you would expect from a chain.

Today we wanted to eat at Hans im Glück in Terminal K at Munich Airport. We stood in line for a long time. Staff didn't pay any attention to us or others. But we stayed calm. When it was our turn, another couple pushed their way through the "exit" and although this was also noticed by the staff, they were assigned the free seat first. We can't say anything about the food, but if the assigned seating doesn't work and the staff is indifferent to it... it's a shame. We moved to the restaurant opposite and sat there. Felt very unprofessional at this Hans im Glück branch.

Burger was a little dry, but thankfully there are sauces for free. The service was awesome!!! Place was super crowded, but waiter did an outstanding job, promised a full dinner before flight deadline, and delivered very fast! Still apologized for no problem at all, and was so grateful for his deserved tip and my understanding, I got a coffee on the house! Awesome experience, gonna return here next time on my way through MUC. <3

Terrible food Terrible service Terrible seating right next to a smoking area And they have the audacity to ask for a tip This isn't the US, don't bring that tipping culture here! 24€ for the worst airport food in Europe, and there is NOTHING else to eat by the K gates besides lousy grab and go. For as much as everyone raves about this airport, its food options are shameful.

Unsympathetic, we politely asked if we could still sit down at 8:48 p.m We then got an answer with "haha, we've been closed for an hour" in a way as if we should know something like that if you've never been here before and there were a few people sitting at the tables there. In my opinion, you could put it much nicer

One of the best burgers I have ever eaten in my life. I wouldn't believe that I would eat such a very good burger in an airport. The wilder westen burger was my choice and I know I'm gonna miss it 🥲

Huge queue around 2015. and so Hans luckily decided not to serve guests at the table anymore. There was only To Go. Poor performance for a world airport.

Tiny portions both burger, fries and soda. Tea is nice tho, service and atmosphere makes up for it.

They added 10% tip without asking and didnt put the receipt on the table before I paid, then they asked if I needed the receipt. Food is OK, you can find much better burgers, but maybe not in the airport.

The burger was tasty, the service was friendly and the seats were very uncomfortable.

Lady made sure that i am paying 1.90 euro more twice but did not made sure that i want to sit down and not have food for take away. The worst part is she did not allowed me to sit down in their restaurant lounge because “i took - take away”

Unfortunately, Habs is overrated in luck. The patty was extremely dry and the burger overall was not juicy at all. Completely unjustified for the price. The fries, on the other hand, were fried quite crispy. The service is friendly and quick. Overall ok for an airport.

Got the lunch menu (burger of your choice+ fries or salad+cold drink+hot drink) for €23.5 Decent option considering it’s the airport, burger was good but nothing special, fries were a little bit old, but they have 4 dips for fries and your burger. Cappuccino was also good.

Meat was burnt, toppings on the burger were absolutely missing for this price. I've been to several branches but this one was by far the worst.

Over 30min waiting for a burger, very rude servant. 2euro extra for avocado - which is completely not possible to see from outside it is the right one. Cheese is not melt, meat is not hot. Asked the waitress if this is the right avocado burger, and was very rude treated - she basically shouted at me in front of others. Haven’t had such a bad experience for a while!

Too expensive, food takes forever

Certainly one of the cheaper restaurants in Frankfurt Airport. Nice service when taking orders. Otherwise self-service. Tastes very good.

The food is ok, but unfortunately nothing more and it's not particularly cheap in terms of price.

If you pay €5 for a coffee, you'll want to drink it straight out of the cup, but you can't get it here!

Great option. Not located in a very visible location. It's quiet, not having continously people walking around you while having luch. Good Burger selection with multiple choices.

K18 Gate, ideal location in terminal 2. For the price (and remember we're in an airport), it's good value. I couldn't finish the serving, it's a very generous portion. I had the cheese burger on multi-grain bread and fries. Very tasty. I really liked the skins left on the fries. Adds to the flavor. There's an assortment of condiments on the table plus cutlery and napkins. Located next to the Camel Smoking room, but you do not notice a smell. Cheese burger and fries €17. Definitely recommend.

Amazing vegan chicken burger. Truffle fries also had a huge portion. This didn’t pop up when I typed “vegan” at the airport on google maps, but it’s a great place to get a nice selection of vegan burgers and side options !!! Perfect texture and taste and temperature! Soooooo delicious

Bad service and unfriendly staff When I visited this cafeteria today, I was initially completely ignored. Despite standing at the counter and making eye contact with the staff for several minutes, I was not served. When I was finally able to make myself known, I was only given a coffee to go, even though I had specifically asked to sit down. The atmosphere in the cafeteria was also very unpleasant. The tables were not clean and the entire atmosphere seemed careless and run down. Conclusion: Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this cafeteria at all. Neither the service nor the atmosphere is right here. There are much better cafes in the area! Suggestions for improvement: * Staff should be more attentive and serve guests faster. * It should be possible to sit down in the cafeteria and enjoy coffee in peace. * The atmosphere in the cafeteria should be improved. I hope this review helps you make your decision whether to visit this cafeteria or not.

Person with food intolerance will not finde anything overe there to eat, very littel restaurance or cafee shops, shops very limited - just few. I found they signs very confusing, had to ask staff for the way to the Gates, staff from lufthansa very are nice, which i cannot nessesairly say thatbabout restarunt staff, as when you would like to get some info they ignore you or quickly disapearing. Also looks like it has been blocked to be advertised. Hope that opininon will be taken in to consideration.

Subjectively speaking, little choice for vegetarians.

The ambience is good, but the quality of the food and service has declined significantly. I know the Hans im Glück at the airport very well and have been there sometimes once a week before I flew on from my business trip. This was before the pandemic. But now, after visiting it again for some time, I was quite disappointed. Unfortunately, the really fat, tasty vegi burgers with a choice of different buns are no longer available. The selection is much smaller, which would be okay. But the burgers are thinner and no longer have the complex taste.

The international gate has no food or anything to drink except a half empty set of vending machines. I couldn't believe it. After you wait 15 minutes to get through the final set of passport control and then realize you have to leave to find something to eat before a 10 hour flight. Terrible

In May 2024 we went here for dinner twice. The staff are very hospitable and serve their guests very quickly. The food (menu) is very tasty. Thank you for your very entertaining and pleasant hospitality.

Restaurants and staff are not friendly and less helpful at the airport. It was an unhappy experience having missed the flight.

Awsome coffee and hot chocolate drinks with german traditional bread pretzel

Took a hamburger, was ok but a bit boring. Meet was made to "well done", was not possible to get it any other way.

We wanted to buy sandwiches, but unfortunately there were only a few pieces left, so I won't comment on them. The atmosphere is very nice, as is the observation of the service. Prices are as high as at the entire space airport.

Got delayed....wifi didn't work well, crowded bathrooms. Wish I didn't check in early, missed out on beautiful shops and coffee or food. Flight delayed and had inconsistent wi-fi and lines at bathroom.

There were four of us and we wanted to drink a draft and actually eat something. We were assigned a table with more seats and the beer came. Since we didn't have much time during the stopover and we weren't impressed by the menu, which wasn't particularly extensive, I only ordered a tartare and the others nothing. The waiter then commented, “Oh great and others are lining up to eat something.” For one thing, there were still tables available and there was really no one standing at the entrance! I found it more than cheeky!!! He later became friendlier, but that's not how you treat guests, even if they definitely won't become regulars! The tartare was pretty decent, but not something I would order there again.

Airport style..., you can't look at the price list! I was hoping for a little more overall, more space and less surcharge for sauces etc.

Short stopover in MUC until we continue. Unfortunately it was very full and took a very long time, the service was very friendly despite the stress and the food was delicious. I will stop by again on my next stopover in MUC.

Unfortunately it's still early in the morning when there are already flights and you have to wait without enjoying anything.

Excellent, except for one airport employee at the check in who was irritating and annoying with most passengers as it was obvious he was not qualified for the position. To make matters worse he would not leave a couple travelling with a small pet dog who were carrying all the proper paperwork and adhered to all the regulations on board until his supervisor intervened and resolved the issue for him.I think their threats which l overheard of notifying the authorities of animal rights violation softened their rigidness. Finally after much delay we all went on our merry way!

Had a 6 hour layover enjoyed grabbing food and looking around the many shops.

The only place in Munich that I like. Convenient, clean, fast. The same cannot be said about other airports.

The gourmet burgers were self-selectable, starting with side dishes and buns, and it was not a problem to leave out the onion. The versatile selection of french fries or salad as a side dish was also a positive surprise. The service was prompt and very knowledgeable and friendly. The lunch package included both soft drinks and coffee, etc., which was praised by our group. The prices were reasonable for an airport restaurant, i.e. high, but tolerable. Thank you, kind staff, we liked your restaurant. The only small minus came from the uncomfortable benches and cramped small table, it would have been more enjoyable to sit comfortably and not carry hand luggage. The puzzle could be solved easily with e.g. coat hooks or bag hooks and benches with backs.
