Good place to pick a snack before getting on the plane. Expensive tho.

To be an airport restaurant it was really good, especially the smashed burger!

After 30 minutes of waiting, we finally got a table. At the moment there were more employees in the smoking cabin than in the restaurant. It's a shame because the food here is great but no one has an hour to spare for something like that.

Don’t come here and especially not with kids! You are not welcome and the staff is rude! Faced this morning an elderly Italian lady waitress (didn’t recognize her name) rejecting my infant daughter to sit on a regular table but had to go to high table with risk to fall, claiming it is regulation of her boss. Hi boss… you better update your regulations especially for families, ridiculous behavior! At the end we left and went for a more welcoming place and are blacklisting Hans im Glück from now on.

Terrible service! Having a smile must return from the millennial feat. Watches us wait 35 minutes completely ignoring every request. The burgers are good.

Dude in the yellow shirt with a bunch of bracelets was super rude and forced me to tip. Don’t force people to tip especially when your service is terrible. Avoid this spot and get a sandwich somewhere else.

The food was OK. Unfortunately, the store was completely overcrowded and the staff was overwhelmed.

Really delicious hamburger. I had the smash burger. I'm very picky about hamburgers, I found it hard to find anywhere to rival 5 Guys. But this place was great. A variety of tasty sauces at the table too. Definitely would go back! Second time of visiting. Still great food. Couldn't find the smash burger on the menu but asked for it and enjoyed it again.

Very long wait and the food we needed to return twice because it was wrong. In the restaurant itself there were no one that can assist you except one person.

Food and service is great. Can't say anything. Tastes good and the portions are okay. Personally, I don't really like the atmosphere. Everything is quite good except for the staff, we were served by a waitress who was totally overwhelmed by the amount of people in the place, only two waiters and the place was full and people outside waiting, I can see from here 4 people behind the bar doing nothing, the waitress has done a great job despite everything mentioned, more empathy with the people who work well

The veggie burger had completely dried out from lying under the heat lamp for ages. The fries as well, just before the state of charcoal. At that price......ridiculous!!!

Amazing place. Me and my colleague were searching for good Vegetarian options in Main Central Station area and found this restaurant. Burgers here have different options for bread (sourdough, volllkorn, normal) and patties also like beef, chicken and vegan. The ambience is also very nice. Altogether a nice place to have dinner with your friends whether they prefer veg or non veg.

waiters are not friendly at all. we asked nicely to ask when our food are coming, but they replied so rude. we asked because we saw 2 other tables who are coming after us got the food and we don’t get yet. i just know that people work here are so rude with customer.

The location at Munich Airport in the satellite terminal is ok (the smoking lounge is right behind it), the staff is friendly, otherwise everything is as usual by HiG

Burger was great, liked the look of the place, but - we stood at the "please wait for service" sign for quite awhile, totally ignored by the staff (incl whom I later learned was the manager), until one gent in a grey shirt took notice and waved us to a seat. He also waited on us and was attentive and hilarious. 4 stars on service for his making up for the rest of the wait staff.

Burgers are boring, are made with decent ingredients but poor effort. Cheese wasn't even melted. No sauce, no veggies. Fries have to be ordered separately and are dry. Personnel treat you as they are making you a favor when they serve you, and it's obvious people are not happy to work here. Add that the seats are benches and a burger fries and a beer cost 22 euros.

Food was okay and quick too. The cocktail (orange gin) was much too sweet (two centimeters of sugar in the glass) and that was not remedied despite a complaint. Either the recipe is not correct at all. Or the cocktail was just poured into another glass after the complaint. I didn't see any sugar anymore, but it was still just as sweet.

I never thought I would ever praise an airport restaurant, but the food was really tasty, the waiter attentive and friendly (and multilingual as a bonus), and the prices very reasonable.

To be avoided, very expensive and dishonest, for an airport like Munich it's really a shame!!

Burgers so tasty. Of course maybe a bit too expensive but also very strange and arrogant staff. Not only we noticed this, but also some other guests. Then we also gave tips. There was no thanks for that either. Of course we have ourselves to blame. Annoyed us.

Delicious burgers. Despite the large crowds, it was well organized and there wasn't too long of a wait.

I've been there several times to eat and I must say that their chicken burger is better than the double beef burger both in terms of portion and quality. The fact remains that it is not cheap at all.

Slow service and not even notice from staff, several families in line and not taken to table, right side full and left side closed, after several mins a waiter had still not taken first family to a table so we left.

The prices in the menu are very misleading in my opinion. The lunch menu is advertised for €9.50, but what is not mentioned in the menu is that the burger is not included in the price. In the end I paid €22 for a burger menu. The quality of the burger is worse than at McDonald's. This was very dry and lukewarm. If I hadn't been so hungry, I wouldn't have eaten it after trying it. But the fries were fresh. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Pleasant airport that offers many services and several spaces to rest after a stopover. The service in the lounge is perfect. The hostesses are very pleasant.

Incredibly unfriendly, we stood at the entrance for about 10 minutes on April 5th at 12:30 p.m. and were completely ignored. A third of the restaurant was empty and after a friendly hello we were insulted that there were obviously no seats available and we would have to wait. When we asked about the 15 empty tables, we were shouted that there were only two of us today. It couldn't be more unfriendly or worse. This could have been handled differently.

To be avoided like the plague (especially if you are a young woman travelling alone) I was “welcomed” in German even though I made it clear from the beginning that I speak English. I saw a dinner set menu listed and the waiter looked at me with pity, assuming I could not afford it, saying that this was not the final price and without without bothering to explain why. I was served the wrong kind of fries and half the portion that others had. We were three separate customers and each of us was brought something not ordered. The ice on the cake was the dust covering my lamp and the plant on the table (snowing in April) and the bill without any detail about what I ate. Munich airport should be embarrassed by the fact that there are at least 5 different reviews like mine, all complaining about the Italian waiter working there. What are you waiting for to fire him? As an Italian, I am ashamed by this attitude. Food mediocre, do yourself a favour and try the Schnitzel place at gate G if you are already there or you have enough time.

They put wrong ingredients on the hamburguer

OK food and drinks, well over priced. The server yelled at me when I was told by the hostess to take a seat at a table. He hadn't wiped the table yet but there was no need to yell. We received no apology yet the others he was aggressive towards he quickly apologized. I understand it is quite a busy restaurant but there is no need for disrespect.

Once again incredibly unfriendly staff. What's going on here? He was so rude and then started to complain about the lack of a tip, even though he specifically pointed out in advance where you could click and how much %. Something has to change here!

Another awful experience here with rude and disrespectful staff. Second time trying here and both time shocked by the rudeness. This time as I was choosing my drink the waiter says “what’s so difficult just choose a cocktail” and walks off not returning. He also had a confrontation with a friendly man enquiring how much longer his food would take, the response “ten minutes, it’s normal have you not been to a restaurant before”. These comments on poor service are clearly not being considered by management.

Nice opportunity to wait for an onward flight at the K gates... We had a somewhat strange waiter, but the beer was good and so were the fries, so in the end it was all good.

Extreamly confusing menu where they trick you into thinking it's much cheaper than it actually is. They show a schematics of how to chose burger, sides and drink for 9:50 euro but when you pay it's more than double. Turns out it's JUST the burger and nothing else that costs 9:50. Very misleading. Burger was mediocre.

I had much higher expectations, considering that this place only does burgers but I must say that I didn't find anything special. Sandwich with little filling and not particularly tasty. I tried both sweet potatoes and normal ones. The sweet ones were not very crunchy and a little limp while the normal ones were good and crunchy. Normal beer. Service The waiter who served me was very kind and courteous, while the one who caught me was very rude and wanting to joke, he gave me a truly unpleasant response and only in German, even though he understood that I didn't speak it. Price For a hamburger, two small plates of potatoes, a large, small beer I paid €39. I would say that the price is correct only because we are inside the airport, otherwise I would have said too expensive. If I were to return to Munich airport, I don't think you will dine at this restaurant again

I’ve been to many restaurants, but I’ve never experienced customer service this bad. From the moment we walked in, the staff acted like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers.

A bit surprising for me to find good food in a quiet atmosphere at an airport, and at normal prices too. The service was also very friendly and committed - if I use Terminal 2 again, they will see me again. Addition: Only vegan chicken nuggets for children? Seriously? I would be seriously interested (and would therefore look forward to an answer) as to who came up with this nonsense and for what esoteric reason.

Very bad service, the waiters were extremely rude. After paying he threw the ticket on the table, not even being able to hand it to us. Very unprofessional and bad hospitality. Unacceptable.

I may have been lucky but now that I read the other comments I wonder: have I been to another restaurant? For being in an airport and a separate transfer area (K) I would say that for a hot meal, at this price, I would say it was a success. And then the Italian staff, a fairy tale. Come on! P.S.: look carefully at the menu, the lunch combo is the sandwich + €9.50.

We were directly refused with our 5 students claiming that they did not have a place despite 2 free tables. We offered to make two tables, 1 of 3 and one of 4 but the waiter signaled us to go eat opposite without even a goodbye.

Got two vegan burgers: Knusperschote and Wolpertinger. One of the best burgers I have had. A lot of flavor and juicy!

Exceeded my expectations! The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, with generous portions at great prices. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely my go-to spot for quick and tasty meals!

Can't give opinion on food as food never arrived, after 1hour waiting on a stool smaller than a buses' folding seat, both shoulders stuck between a wall and a false tree. I had spent the time I had for my connection. One more restaurant chain that surfs on its reputation : overpriced hamburgers, underpaid and understaffed employees...

The place is half empty, but unfortunately there is no room for a family of 3 because the children might be loud. Extremely unfriendly employee!

Great service by a waiter who manages all the tables. Burger was a hit dry but sauces were delicious so that helped and it was the only sit down restaurant in this part of the terminal with a waiter.

All in all the food was good and quick in arriving, the waiter from Campania who speaks any language who served us a character... as soon as he opens his mouth he ruins that hour-long pause that we allow ourselves, I have never seen a ruder person, it takes courage to leave him a tip...I give one star for the service but he doesn't even deserve that, I also speak for the nearby tables who promptly kept quiet in every language to give his unsolicited explanations, in a truly aggressive manner, terrible.

Pleasant stay at Munich Airport at Hans im Glück Extremely friendly staff and delicious food. Fast service. Exactly what you would expect. Here the staff knows how to serve guests. Highly recommend came.

Very fine chicken strips with a subtle, fine, spicy crust. Caesar salad. Attentive service. Clean.

Burger restaurant inside terminal 2 at the beginning of gates K. Nice and well-kept place (for what it is usually found). The waiter/apparent person in charge was very rude and dry. Decent burger for about €12 on average, with a “menu” of fries and drinks for another €12 more. It was full and they were still very fast serving

In addition to the already described "wait" at the entrance - the staff was chattering - we were rudely informed that all vegan and vegetarian burgers were not available until further notice. The whole type of service and offer conveyed a certain indifference, as airport guests fluctuate anyway and are therefore not dependent on the individual guest. Too bad. 7 people waiting to be sited in a half empty restaurant with 3 waiters sitting and doing nothing. Terrible in-existent service!!! Impolite useless waiter who pushed through us twice being very impolite. Management should do something about it. (5/12/2025 17:30)

Normally I have good experience in Hans I'm Glück restaurants. But today at the airport it was different. I was mostly disappointed by service. The server (Mr. Gashi) attitude was bellow acceptable. He acted annoyed and bothered when I got there to be sitted. Later he mixed up my order and brought me a wrong drink. Even when I wanted to pay he sighed reluctantly. He almost gave a feeling he's forced to work there and we the customers are a huge inconvenience to him. Normally I don't expect a lot from a server, but this was very unprofessional and uncomfortable

The food was very tasty and so was the iced tea. Price for the airport is also quite ok

I waited a long time for my food, even though it was already there ready to be picked up. We basically had contact with each other, only the lady at the checkout had better things to do and her colleagues preferred to eat fries in the kitchen. Only the cook was busy. Burger was ok, what you would expect from a chain.

Rude staff, don't go there, I asked for a hamburger without some ingredients being allergic and they told me to fuck off, when they said the kitchen was already closed but other people were ordering. Really awful, terrible burgers at 8.15pm not even closing.

Today we wanted to eat at Hans im Glück in Terminal K at Munich Airport. We stood in line for a long time. Staff didn't pay any attention to us or others. But we stayed calm. When it was our turn, another couple pushed their way through the "exit" and although this was also noticed by the staff, they were assigned the free seat first. We can't say anything about the food, but if the assigned seating doesn't work and the staff is indifferent to it... it's a shame. We moved to the restaurant opposite and sat there. Felt very unprofessional at this Hans im Glück branch.

Burger was a little dry, but thankfully there are sauces for free. The service was awesome!!! Place was super crowded, but waiter did an outstanding job, promised a full dinner before flight deadline, and delivered very fast! Still apologized for no problem at all, and was so grateful for his deserved tip and my understanding, I got a coffee on the house! Awesome experience, gonna return here next time on my way through MUC. <3

Terrible food Terrible service Terrible seating right next to a smoking area And they have the audacity to ask for a tip This isn't the US, don't bring that tipping culture here! 24€ for the worst airport food in Europe, and there is NOTHING else to eat by the K gates besides lousy grab and go. For as much as everyone raves about this airport, its food options are shameful.

Unsympathetic, we politely asked if we could still sit down at 8:48 p.m We then got an answer with "haha, we've been closed for an hour" in a way as if we should know something like that if you've never been here before and there were a few people sitting at the tables there. Huge queue around 2015. and so Hans luckily decided not to serve guests at the table anymore. There was only To Go. Poor performance for a world airport.

Tiny portions both burger, fries and soda. Tea is nice tho, service and atmosphere makes up for it.

They added 10% tip without asking and didnt put the receipt on the table before I paid, then they asked if I needed the receipt. Food is OK, you can find much better burgers, but maybe not in the airport.

Unfortunately, Habs is overrated in luck. The patty was extremely dry and the burger overall was not juicy at all. Completely unjustified for the price. The fries, on the other hand, were fried quite crispy. The service is friendly and quick. Overall ok for an airport.

Got the lunch menu (burger of your choice+ fries or salad+cold drink+hot drink) for €23.5 Decent option considering it’s the airport, burger was good but nothing special, fries were a little bit old, but they have 4 dips for fries and your burger. Cappuccino was also good.

Meat was burnt, toppings on the burger were absolutely missing for this price. I've been to several branches but this one was by far the worst.

Over 30min waiting for a burger, very rude servant. 2euro extra for avocado - which is completely not possible to see from outside it is the right one. Cheese is not melt, meat is not hot. Asked the waitress if this is the right avocado burger, and was very rude treated - she basically shouted at me in front of others. Haven’t had such a bad experience for a while!

Certainly one of the cheaper restaurants in Frankfurt Airport. Nice service when taking orders. Otherwise self-service. Tastes very good.
