Burgers were great this time. This time the cooking point was just right and the burgers were juicy. Unfortunately, last time they were much too dry. Ambience only 4 stars this time because it is simply too cold in your store.

We come here often and always find it good. Ok, except for that one time in the summer where the burger patty was really charred, but that's not the point here. Our last visit was flawless, burgers were very tasty (especially the vegetarian versions are excellent), great service and a very attentive host. So gladly again!

The food was good. Unfortunately we waited a long time for service. We sat at a locked door. It was drafty and cold there. We have forwarded this to the employees.

The food is very tasty and the vegan and vegetarian selection is very large. Unfortunately the staff is a bit short. I was there twice and both times we had to wait a long time before we could order. A second drink was only possible if we went out to find a waitress ourselves. If it is very busy, there should definitely be more staff available. The ambience is beautiful and the staff that is there is also super friendly. Unfortunately, parking was not possible except in the parking garage and there I paid 6 (!) euros for just over 2 hours.

The staff wasn't interested in my reservation, we were seated with 7 people at a table for 6. The waitresses were friendly, but extremely poorly organized and visibly overwhelmed. It took more than 30 minutes before we could order food and drinks, and it took more than 45 minutes for the food to be ready. When serving, a burger and fries were missing, which was fixed within 10 minutes. Ordering and serving dessert took a similar amount of time, making the visit last about 3.5 hours in total - for burger, fries, salad and a few churros. The burgers and salad were very good, the fries were lukewarm at best and the churros weren't really crispy. Overall, unfortunately, a very disappointing evening.

The review is for today! I've eaten at Hans im Glück Mannheim several times in the past and was always very satisfied, so I was looking forward to a good burger today too. But the worm was in there somewhere today. At first there was no service staff for a long time, so we ordered at the table using the QR code. The drink was served within a short time, the food was a long time coming. The restaurant was obviously very full, so I didn't ask what happened to the order until about 45 minutes later. The same goes for the guests at the next table - they were even there before me. “By chance” the burgers were on the table within a very short time. Unfortunately, my burger had already cooled down by this point and the tomatoes and rocket were mushy (so heat was present for once). The fries were probably spontaneously swapped for fresh ones, which were usually good. It was impossible to complain, there was no waitress and if I had, I would have had a hot burger and cold fries, in keeping with the general overwhelm (or what was going on?). When I didn't pay for the burger, they probably checked how much I ate (2 bites)… Hot (pun intended) tip: stop ordering online if you can't keep track of it - or hire more staff!

We've been sitting in the restaurant for 1.5 hours now, asking where the food is, but there's nothing there. One evening you should avoid the restaurant if you want to get something to eat. For us it was the first and last time here.

Today the five of us had dinner at Hans in Glück (Mannheim). Unfortunately, at first we had to wait a long time until we were shown to a place that was definitely too small for 5 people. When we looked at the map, we first noticed sticky pages. We also removed a foreign hair first. When someone came to take the order after 20 minutes, we ordered 5 lunch menus. After another 30 minutes the food came. The taste was okay. Unfortunately, there was a big hit when paying! I paid almost 130€ for us together!....and I immediately asked for the bill. This was then brought to me. Our food was not calculated as a menu but as individual items. When we asked what had gone wrong, the boss (!) said that we didn't say we wanted a lunch menu. I then told him that we really wanted that, which was very clear from the order. He showed no insight and was not prepared to pay the approximately €20 that was overpaid by correcting the invoice! Very very sad! I have enjoyed eating there with friends and family for many years. That has now been resolved.

We had to wait forever before we were even allowed in. Saturdays at 3 p.m. Then I had to wait 15 minutes until we could order. 5 people sat at a table that was much too small. Cutlery, table and even the tomcats were dirty... The food was okay, but I'm used to much better from Hans im Glück in Mannheim. Much better. Last but not least, something went wrong with the billing of our order. We got 0.0. I really felt like I was completely unwelcome after paying. I found it really unfriendly how you were treated. No sign of goodwill, understanding or accommodation. Pay that and go... Was the last time I was there. I'd rather go to Mainz.

The restaurant used to be very good. Unfortunately, during our visit today, it took the kitchen over an hour from the time we ordered to bring the burgers to the table. Even the friendly service couldn't help overcome this circumstance. For €70 I expect more. Afterwards, not even a discount or a coffee on the house. Impudence!

Absolutely not recommended!! The price-performance ratio is simply not right. We paid 45€ for 2 burgers with fries and a drink. The burger was completely dry and we both had diarrhea and stomach cramps the next day!! Wouldn't go there anymore

We (7 people) were there without a reservation, but the super accommodating and friendly staff freed up a table for us. The food was great, the service was very nice. We'll be back.

Hans im Glück used to be better, but is still good. - I went to the restaurants mainly because of the salads, which were large and lovingly prepared. I could have had a burger here after the salad. The whole piece of vegan crispy chicken style was also on top of the salad. Of course I can handle a knife and cut it, but it wasn't necessarily loving for me. - expensive (especially for the portion) - no backrest + The drinks and the food came really quickly (and on a Friday evening) + The food was delicious + Large menu and good selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes

Food was good. They don't take the filling quantity too seriously... I asked the bartender about it, he didn't care and he moved on...

Ordered at 9:36 p.m., got a confirmation straight away, waited 40 minutes for the food only for the restaurant to call and cancel because we supposedly ordered after 10 p.m. and the kitchen was closed. They also say that I won't get my money back because they can't cancel the order and that I should call again the next day. Impudence 🤡

The atmosphere is beautiful and the food is delicious. Salads, vegetarian burgers, burgers with chicken or beef - I've tried many things and am thrilled every time. The cocktails are always beautifully prepared, delicious and varied. Great value for money. Definitely recommended.

Unfortunately it was far too cold. We were all freezing and had to keep our thick winter jackets on.

Unfortunately, food never arrived, even though it was in the same part of town. Order was canceled after 2 hours of consultation, unfortunately no refund was possible. The only option was to pick up the food yourself, which was not possible due to illness. All they said was that the next meal would be on the house and that we should give the name of the man on the phone. Too bad!

Price is ok. Burger was delicious. The different sauces on the tables are great. What we all found unpleasant was that the place was really cold and there was a pungent smell of grease. Especially in the entrance area. Both were very unpleasant. Maybe something could be improved here. Overall we had a nice evening. Will stop by again because the burgers tasted good.

Visually everything is very nice. Unfortunately it was very cold and therefore very uncomfortable. This also meant that some of the food (fries) arrived at the table already very cool. The staff was very scarce and ordering more drinks wasn't so easy. The seating comfort on the benches was also not optimal for longer stays. It's a shame, because the variety of burgers is great.

Burger and salad were very tasty. Ordered apple strudel with ice cream and espresso for dessert, as well as 2 extra scoops of ice cream. The espresso came after 5 minutes and dessert after 15 minutes. We would have liked to have both together. The ice cream was already half melted. Gave it back and got a new one. It was good. There were 7 of us and the reserved table was very cramped. So we moved because it was still empty at that time. Why do you have to get a small table with so many people when 3/4 of the shop is still empty and there is more space. Service was nice and polite. Minus point: when the outside temperature is -3 degrees, I don't need ice cubes in my drink (water).

We sat near the entrance door, where unfortunately it was very drafty. When I made the reservation, I specifically requested a table NOT in the entrance area. I had also made a reservation for several people and was asked to push the tables together myself. Not very inviting for my guests. The food was good and the evening was really successful.

Everything's great, except it's too dark. A little brighter would be better, you can hardly see the food at all.

I recently had the pleasure of eating at Hans im Glück and my experience was entirely positive. I ordered the “Impostor” burger, accompanied by garlic cheese fries – an excellent choice! Eat: The burger was perfectly cooked, juicy and topped with fresh ingredients. The combination of flavors was excellent and convincing across the board. The garlic and cheese fries were a particular highlight: crispy, spicy and portioned just right. Overall, the food was very tasty and I enjoyed it extremely well. Service: The service was friendly, attentive and warm. The staff made you feel welcome and waiting times were pleasantly short. Ambiance: The atmosphere in the restaurant was welcoming and cozy. The mixture of warm light, natural materials and modern furnishings ensures a pleasant feel-good atmosphere. Conclusion: An all-round successful experience at Hans im Glück! Delicious food, great service and an ambience that invites you to linger. I will definitely come back and can only recommend it.

We were with four people The fries were cold for all dishes!!! We had two of them returned. After a few minutes we got new ones... they were lukewarm. That's where I have my problem with. Sorry, that doesn't work at all...

Which is why the stars are deducted - the employee responsible for allocating tables led us to a table for 6, even though we had made a special reservation for 8 people and received a confirmation + had consent over the phone. His statement was: “He has no more space, he can give us two separate tables for 4!” Even though we reserved for 8 people! I then said: “That there are 8 of us there, that we had reservations for 8 of us, that we want to sit together and that I think this is a disgrace!” Of course no solution was reached. The employee made no effort and stopped contacting us!!!! Miserable and disgraceful!! The food was good. The service at the table was very nice.

The seats don't even have backrests and the kitchen even makes the restaurant feel like food. So we left without ordering.

Today we took the long journey with the children to Mannheim to Hans im Glück to eat here with the 2 for 1 voucher from NeoTaste Burger. Regardless of initially being completely ignored by the terms and later treated unkindly, we were told that the deal was no longer being offered. The waitress just grinned at us provocatively and said that unfortunately there was nothing we could do about it. This is a clear case of unfair advertising as the deal can still be booked via the app. We then left without ordering anything and won't be coming back anytime soon.

Unfortunately the service wasn't good. The fries didn't come, but they were later charged twice. These were still cold - at least we got them exchanged. Neotaste coupons (two cocktails for the price of one) could not be redeemed for unknown reasons. We often had to call attention to ourselves by shouting “Hello” and “Excuse me” in order to get something else. There were no questions about whether it tasted good or whether everything was OK. All of this with a burger price of 13 euros plus 12.90 for the menu is not a good experience - the price/performance ratio is not right. The portions were also small. It's a shame, because the atmosphere is great...

Service was unfriendly! They forgot to bring the fries they had ordered and when asked in a friendly manner, which he saw as an attack, he claimed we hadn't ordered anything but it was on the order. I actually like going to Hans im Glück and it always tastes good, but we probably won't be ordering food to pick up anymore. The rolls were swapped, the extra sauce was missing and the existing one was wrong, plus a cheese sauce for a completely vegan order, that's really not possible, it's a shame.

The small tables take a lot of getting used to. But the service is a disaster. We ordered dessert twice (delay) and both times we waited about 30 minutes. It took the citizens about 15 minutes. So we won't come anymore.

Hans im Glück is an excellent burger restaurant. The selection of burgers is impressive and creative. Fresh ingredients ensure an incomparable taste. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The prices are fair and justified. Every visit is a pleasure. I recommend Hans im Glück without a doubt!

When ordering, the waiter first says there are no more brioche buns (at 5 p.m. already?) and next door in the kitchen, burgers are topped with brioche buns and served throughout the entire visit 2. Burgers were mixed up...everyone got a different bun 3. It was totally cold in the restaurant, which made it uncomfortable 4. When I asked if we wanted to pay, no one came for 20 minutes until we finally decided to use the QR code. It's all well and good that you can pay using the code, but that's a hassle if the internet doesn't work there or is very slow The food itself is really good, but unfortunately the service and the other circumstances had a rather negative impact on the visit.

The food and ambience itself are really good, the staff is also very nice, but I imagine something different when it comes to cleanliness. Our table was completely wet and after I rested my arms on the table, the sleeves of my white sweater were completely brown and dirty. Whatever that was on the table, it couldn't be, you could have at least wiped the table in front of it.

I have to honestly admit, this was the best service I've experienced so far. The waiters were all very friendly and very welcoming. The boss Nino was also at our table and warmly welcomed us. The food was also great. I have to say that the atmosphere was perfect for December, as Christmas music was also playing. So thank you again for the great experience 👍🏽

The food was very good and came very quickly. However, there weren't many tables occupied. It was quite cold, so you need to dress well if you are a bit cold. You can't really judge the service as a whole here. You can order directly from your cell phone using the QR code at the table. Unfortunately, the service staff do not point this out to you and even after a long wait and no order has been received, no employee comes to the table to take an order. You have to specifically ask the service staff to be able to order, which is a shame. In general everyone was very friendly.

Hans im Glück is definitely a great place to go for burger lovers! The burgers are always fresh, tasty and prepared with high-quality ingredients. I especially love the fries with truffle mayonnaise – simply delicious! The service is always friendly, attentive and quick, which makes the visit really pleasant. One small point of criticism: The cocktails and desserts could be improved a bit, as they lag behind the other dishes in terms of taste. I've noticed this on several visits. Still, I keep coming back for the burgers and the great atmosphere!

Unfortunately the patty didn't really taste fresh. That's why I wouldn't come back. Service was OK, but the fries were forgotten.

The food is expensive and the portions are small. Without a reservation you always have to sit at the bar, where it is very narrow and uncomfortable. You pay 60 euros and leave with a headache and in an hour you're hungry again.

The food was okay but definitely not worth the price...unfortunately. The service was nice and asked at the end if everything was okay. The ambience is nice at first impression, but if you take a closer look you realize that it is not designed to linger. The options for leaning on were almost non-existent... that means either sitting slouched the whole time or sitting upright during the entire stay! I was there on November 15th, 2024 (Friday) around 4 p.m.

We had vegan burgers, salad and sweet potato fries. Everything was very tasty and plentiful. The staff was attentive and the ambience is just great! You have to try the homemade lemonade!

The food at Hans im Glück in Mannheim was excellent - the burgers were very tasty and creative. The price is a bit high but the quality is good. I also liked the children's menu, everyone enjoys the great options for children. Another plus point: short waiting times, even when the restaurant is full. There is also a large selection of delicious vegetarian dishes.

Lots of space inside and out in the usual HIG flair. The associated parking garage is noteworthy.

It was incredibly hot there and there was way too little staff, which led to quite long waiting times. On top of that, you pay a hefty price for all the trendy dishes and the fancy birch forest they’ve put inside the building. There is a small minus for the not clearly stated special offers that were on the tables as cards.

Very nice shop, lots of space. But it's quite dirty, there's dust everywhere and the toilets are completely brown on the inside. Staff quite friendly. Food good, as always.

The burgers are great: juicy, the beef not overcooked, with tasty ingredients (we had “Full-bodied” and “Peppersack”), and in a tasty and sturdy bread. The homemade lemonade is also very tasty. In the inner courtyard you can sit in the shade away from traffic and enjoy the fresh lift. The only drawback during our visit was that there weren't enough service staff to cope with the huge rush. Nevertheless, we quickly got tickets and were able to order, and the food arrived fairly quickly, even though we had been warned that it could take longer. We only had to wait a really long time when paying and I finally paid inside. Ordering additional drinks or desserts from neighboring tables also apparently took longer. On the other hand, it shows that the priority was to bring the main course to the table in a reasonable time despite the rush, even if additional drinks or desserts and paying might have taken longer. We'd love to come back.

Just a few minutes from the back of the main trainstation. They weren't too busy so the food came quick and was freshly made. Burger was well cooked, fries where yummy. You can have it as a menu together with a drink which is a good deal. Service was nice too.

The burgers and sides are okay. The meatballs appear to be frozen goods. If the burgers cost less than €10, the price/performance ratio would be ok. The draft beer is good. Nicely decorated inside, cozy outside. The service is quick and competent.

Fast food restaurant with the look of a Guourmet temple. Drink prices are at the upper limit of pain. The burger was very tasty, as were the fries. You had to make a relative effort to get the service staff. But the order came quite quickly.

Selten so schlecht gegessen. Verstehe diesen Hype überhaupt nicht. Das Fleisch war minderwertige Qualität was man in jedem fast food besser serviert bekommt. Die pommes waren kalt und abgestanden. Die Bowl die keine war sondern ein Salat, Aperol in einem Wasserglas..... Erster und letzter Besuch.
