We were unfortunately a bit disappointed with our visit. Right from the start, we were told we'd have to wait about 45 minutes for our food, which was fine for us. Unfortunately, this time was significantly exceeded. In total, we waited over 1.5 hours for our food, and about 20 minutes before our order was even taken. The receipt was apparently lost, which is why we didn't get our drinks until shortly after our meal. As compensation, they gave us a large bottle of water on the house, which was nice. The chicken burgers were unfortunately only lukewarm, but the sweet potato fries were delicious. The service was friendly, but you could tell the team was under a lot of pressure. Overall, the visit was unfortunately not worth the total price. The food was okay, but the long waits definitely spoiled the evening.

I placed an order, the order was accepted. Then I was made to wait 30 minutes, only to be contacted later to say that the order had been canceled. That's not good customer service!

A reservation was made in advance for seven people, but when we arrived, no suitable table had been reserved. To make room, other guests who hadn't yet paid were indirectly asked to leave because their table had been offered to us. After a total of three seat changes, where we weren't offered a drink, we were given a table that was reasonably suitable for the number of people. (The restaurant doesn't have any tables for groups of seven or more.) The order was taken very uncoordinatedly, requiring guests to approach us several times and not being able to order everything in one go. When the food arrived, it wasn't really warm. It tasted okay, but in the end, it wouldn't be worth the total price to me. When the bill arrived, it had to be adjusted three times because we had been charged four extra items. To sum it up: Service-wise, a lot of things need to be improved, coordination needs to be improved, and the way we deal with guests who eat in this price range definitely needs to be improved. Likewise, the hygiene in the restrooms was abysmal! The food was ok, but nothing earth-shattering for that price.

The ambiance was really nice, and the service was always friendly. They even gave us ice cream on the house! Thanks to Sengev for that!! The food itself tasted great – but it could have been warmer. It arrived at the table more lukewarm than warm, which was a bit of a shame. Otherwise, really run-of-the-mill!

Unfortunately, this was a lucky diner with very poor service. After almost 1.5 hours, a rather dry burger was served, and no one bothered to order more drinks until then. The second drink arrived 15 minutes after the late burger. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it; other restaurants in this chain are better!

The servers were friendly, and the restaurant looks nice. I thought the vegetarian burger with goat cheese was quite creative. But the Smashburger, unfortunately, tasted really cheap, and the patty was very salty and thin.

No matter where, no matter when, Hans im Glück always tastes good when you're really hungry. The service is excellent, the service never slacks. Especially when Sengev is serving, because with him, you get good and friendly service.

I had a gluten-free hummus. The roll was absolutely delicious, and they cater to allergies really well. Service was excellent, and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was really cozy, perfect for an afternoon. Personally, I find it a bit crowded in the evenings. But it's really great, especially during the week!

We were shopping in Dortmund on Saturday and decided to have dinner at Hans im Glück. The food was okay, and the drinks were good too. We enjoyed the sugar-free mint elderberry lemonade. What was particularly negative, however, was the condition of the restrooms. It smelled strongly, the urinals were dirty, and there was urine all over the floor. It was really unpleasant and more reminiscent of a train station restroom.

Unfortunately, the service was a bit disappointing this time: Our food arrived quickly and was excellent, but we had to wait almost 25 minutes for our coffee after lunch, even though we had long since finished our meals. This unfortunately somewhat dampens the overall very positive impression.

A very large selection of vegetarian and vegan burgers. All the ones I've tried so far have been delicious. I highly recommend it. The staff has always been very attentive and courteous during my visits.

It was tasty but not perfect. I was here today with two friends. We all had the Smashburgers, but unfortunately, two of them were initially missing the extra toppings. They were later brought back, but for that price... We had the non-alcoholic aperitifs, all really good. I wasn't so keen on the Smashburger patties. They could have been a lot flatter, but that's a matter of taste. I'd be happy to come back, even though I miss the pound of fries on the menu.

The food was good, as was the service. What was shocking, however, was the smell and general condition of the restrooms. I hope today was an exception.

We didn't find the interior design here quite as good as in places like Bochum or Hagen. It's usually much busier in Dortmund, which means the wait staff here have more to do and everything takes a bit longer. Unfortunately, the food was already a bit cold when we got it. Nevertheless, I really like HiG everywhere, and I think the vegan burgers are really good.
