You couldn't order alcoholic drinks because they apparently forgot to extend the license to serve alcohol... which is of course extremely difficult when you explicitly offer street food and wine. The food was good, but unfortunately the service was poor to mediocre at best. The wrong starter was served and when I pointed it out the cellar insisted it was correct. My partner had ordered a green tea and we had to ask twice before it was served. We had to wait quite a long time for the bill... we probably won't be coming back!

“Street Food and Wine”? No wine possible and the dish my girlfriend wanted was no longer available. Pay €20 minimum for card. 3 stars for the place and friendly staff. Dishes were correct.

We went on Christmas Day. The food was good but the service was a little slow. The restaurant was not very busy but it took a while to get the attention of someone to get another drink.

We were here spontaneously today around 6:30 p.m. We were lucky, the restaurant was busy at the time and a reservation is recommended. Service was quick considering how busy it was. The food came quickly after ordering and was very good. At 12/13€ per main course, the price performance is top. The summer rolls with salmon were also great and at €4.90 for 2 an extremely good price. The service is super friendly. The ambience was cozy and, even though it was fully occupied, it wasn't unpleasantly loud. Definitely a recommendation.

I've had Vietnamese food before and wasn't very impressed, so this course was a bit "shaky". But I have to admit that I was very positively surprised. We left it to the nice waitress to put together something for two people. We spent almost 2 hours enjoying everything that was served to us at comfortable intervals! I have to admit, everything tasted perfect and we would love to come back! 5 stars and a thank you are mandatory!

Nothing negative to say. My curry was excellent. The portion is sufficient even for me, who likes to eat more. My girlfriend's food was also very tasty. Condition very friendly.

The Hanoi on Aachener Str. is always worth a visit. Anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine will find it in Hanoi. The cozy restaurant impresses across the board: the food is prepared fresh and with high-quality ingredients, and every dish is a taste experience. What is particularly impressive is the perfect balance of spices and the quality of the basic products. The staff is exceptionally attentive and warm, you feel welcome from the first minute. The atmosphere is great. The prices here are also very fair for what you get. The overall package is just right here. Absolute recommendation!

As a Düsseldorfer by choice, I'm not "over here" that often, but now I had to visit Cologne again (quite a good idea!). My companion had recommended going out to eat here in Hanoi in September and raved about it and of course I didn't say no. We sat outside at a cozy table, not far from the road, which was busy but not too noisy, and ordered a fresh, fruity salad with salmon as a starter (to share) and duck with pasta as a main course. The Vietnamese beer should also refresh us. What can I say except: The recommendation was really good. The food was very flavorful, looked fresh and delicious and I really enjoyed it from start to finish. I would be happy to come here again (or to the second restaurant under this name in Düsseldorf) for a good lunch or dinner or a mango cocktail, which we also enjoyed very much.

Als Wahl-Düsseldorfer bin ich nicht nicht so oft "hier drüben", aber nun stand mal wieder ein Besuch in Köln an (durchaus mal eine gute Idee!). Meine Begleitung hatte empfohlen hier im Hanoi September essen zu gehen und davon vorgeschwärmt und da sagte ich natürlich nicht nein. Wir saßen draußen an einem gemütlichen Tisch, nicht weit von der Straße, die zwar stark befahren, aber nicht zu laut war und bestellten uns einen frischen, fruchtigen Salat mit Lachs als Vorspeise (zum Teilen) und Ente mit Nudeln als Hauptspeise. Das vietnamesische Bier sollte uns dazu noch erfrischen. Was kann ich viel sagen außer: Die Empfehlung war wirklich gut. Das Essen war sehr aromatisch, sah frisch und lecker aus und hat mir von Anfang bis Ende sehr gefallen. Sehr gerne komme ich hier noch einmal hin (oder in das 2. Restaurant unter diesem Namen in Düsseldorf), für ein gutes Mittag- oder Abendessen oder einen Mango-Cocktail, den wir auch noch sehr genossen haben.

We had a vegetarian meal today in Hanoi September. Number 45 was marked as a veggie recommendation (tofu balls with vegetables and an egg sauce), but unfortunately it was not at all digestible. We also didn't like the number 46 with fried mushrooms, very greasy. After both dishes we felt unwell, the food was extremely heavy on the stomach. However, the mango salad as a starter was very good. The waiters were very nice, quick and attentive.

The shop is directly on Aachener Straße and is a bit inconspicuous when walking past. The ambience is simple and chic. We were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to a table. There is a good selection of different dishes, and certain dishes are also advertised on the menu with the chef's recommendations (or other comments). I chose the salmon summer roll 2 pieces (€4.90) and Bun Heo Quay (rice noodles with crispy pork belly, €12.90). The waitress said straight away that their pork belly was particularly tasty and crispy. I've eaten pork belly several times, so my expectations were correspondingly high after the comment :D First came the 2 salmon summer rolls: I have to say that I was a bit disappointed - the 2 summer rolls apparently meant a halved summer roll. Unfortunately it was actually only one summer roll, but divided into two. But that was my only disappointment that evening. Because the summer roll tasted very good! The salmon still had a slightly grilled note and was even slightly crispy, which was a really good contrast in texture to the other components of the summer roll. I really liked this - it's just a shame that it was one for me :p (unfortunately I didn't take a photo). When the main course came, I was surprised because for €12.90 I wasn't expecting so much meat. The pork belly was very crispy, not too salty, and the meat was juicy - very well done and didn't promise too much. I can only recommend this dish to everyone! By the way, it can also be found on the menu as a chef's recommendation ;) All in all, I was more than happy with my first visit and I'm sure it won't be the last! Price-performance was also absolutely OK. - the only drawback was the one summer roll for the price (although it was very good).

Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. Not remotely authentic. E.g. curly parsley instead of fresh Vietnamese herbs such as coriander on the food. In general there was a lack of diversity. The staff was very friendly.

It definitely is not the best. Music was really loud and annoying, it definitely felt like a fast-food rest. The service was medioker, she tried her best. The fried springrolls were super oily and the yellow rice with the fried chicken was so dry and hard. I would not recommend. Sorry.

Wir haben uns eine Vor- und zwei Hauptspeisen liefern lassen und waren leider von allen Gerichten mehr als enttäuscht. Das Rind war zäh, das "krosse" Hähnchen dank Fettschwarten eher wie Gummi, die Süßkartoffelpommes labbrig und der Klebereis ein einziger harter Klumpen. Das Essen war so ungenießbar, dass es leider 1:1 in der Mülltonne landete. Vom Lieferservice möchten wir daher dringend abraten. Vor Ort mag es anders sein.

Sehr lecker gegessen. Die Auswahl war groß und sehr unterschiedlich in den Gerichten. Fleisch und Vegi in diversen Variationen. Große Weinauswahl, die wir aber nicht probiert haben. Frische Tees waren lecker, Bier Standard. Die Verständigung war nicht ganz so gut mit dem Kellner, aber freundlich und zuvorkommend. Selbst ein lauwarmer Tee wurde sofort neu gemacht. Essen war sehr lecker und anscheinend alles frisch. Nix zu meckern 😀 Die Portionen waren ok. Aber mit großem Hunger muss man mehr bestellen. Gerade, weil die Sättigungsbeilagen in dem Kochstil nicht im Vordergrund stehen. Aber das ist nicht negativ und der Geschmack war Top

Das Essen war echt mies. Für 16 Euro einen Klumpen klebrigen, trocknen Reis, der sich auch mit der Soße kaum hat lösen lassen. Die Portion war auch ziemlich klein und das bisschen Salatbeilage hat alles lediglich nach Koriander schmecken lassen. Keine Empfehlung. 2 Stern lediglich, weil die Lieferung mit Uber schnell und reibungslos lief.

A rare case of an actually good Vietnamese restaurant in Cologne that serves authentic dishes, and criminally underrated compared to other higher-rated ones that don't even come close regarding flavor and authenticity. I had Phở Bò and the broth was clean and had good depth, as it should be. They also serve lesser known Hanoian classics like Bún Chả and Chả Cá Lã Vọng.

Wirklich überragend! Lecker und frisch und das zarteste Rindfleisch das ich seit langem gegessen habe. Der Wein passte auch perfekt dazu. Wir haben auch noch ein paar Sachen für später mitgenommen, weil wir einfach begeistert waren. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Sehr guter Vietnamese im belgischen Viertel! Interessante Karte mit leckeren Gerichten. Es gibt klassische Hauptgericht aber auch Streetfood. Man sitzt gemütlich und der Service ist extrem freundlich.

Wir waren das erste Mal hier - aber sicher nicht das letzte Mal! Der Gastraum ist klein, aber sauber und aufgeräumt. Der Service ist extrem freundlich und berät bei Fragen perfekt. Doe Sommerrollen sind super frisch und genial abgeschmeckt. SO schmeichelt der Sommer! Die Hauptgerichte sind ein Gaumenschmaus. Die selbst gemachte Limonade (Lime) schmeckt wie frisch gemacht, ist nicht pappig süß und sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir haben die Pho Bo Suppe bestellt, sie war lecker und die Kellnerin war auch aufmerksam. Aber die Portion war für den Preis ein bisschen klein.

Die Atmosphäre war schön. Die Einrichtung war sehr angenehm. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Das Essen war lecker und wir mussten auch nicht lange auf das Essen warten. Obwohl wir an einem Samstag dort waren.

Super lecker und Preise in Ordnung. Der Service war richtig gut und das Ambiente draußen an der Aachener ist einfach schön.

Wir haben über die The Fork App reserviert und haben knusprigen Schweinebauch und ein veganes Gericht mit Tofu und Zitronengras Dressing bestellt. Der Schweinebauch ist sehr lecker und knusprig und es ist eine sehr faire Menge Fleisch. Zusammen mit dem Dressing und dem Salat war es geschmacksintensiv, aber trotzdem frisch und sommerlich. Das vegane Gericht hat allerdings auf voller Linie enttäuscht. Die Soße, die die geschmackliche Grundlage des Gerichts darstellen sollte, schmeckte maximal nach etwas Brühe mit einem Schuss Zitrone. Das Gemüse war ein anderes als auf der Karte beschrieben und es fehlten Sojasprossen. Der Tofu war zwar knusprig und geschmacklich gut, wirkte aber von innen noch recht "roh". Die Mitarbeit sind sehr freundlich und das Ambiente des Restaurants ist normal gemütlich, nichts besonderes. Insgesamt kann man hier für einen fairen Preis leckeres, vietnamesisches Essen probieren und gerade das Fleisch ist positiv hervorzuheben. Ich würde allerdings die veganen Gerichte meiden.

Wir waren zu Mittag dort und unsere Gerichte haben uns leider nicht besonders gut geschmeckt. Das „knusprige“ Hähnchenfleisch war matschig und nicht geschmackvoll. Die Bedienung sagte uns dazu man solle besser Ente bestellen, wenn man es knusprig haben möchte. Ok, warum steht’s dann auf der Karte? Ambiente und Service selbst waren sonst in Ordnung, aber das Essen für uns leider eine Enttäuschung.

Wir haben hier sehr gut und qualitativ hochwertig gegessen! Wir waren sehr begeistert und kommen gerne wieder.
