The food is delicious and a very good price

We were excited! Busy/authentic and lively atmosphere. Small lounge full of all spetrum of guests, from business to teenage hipsters. Authentic servis stuff working in godpace, never got my food so fast. Well it says its fast food 😌 Tiny menu with 3 meals. Tasted amazing gor very little money. We managed and recommend the only dessert you can get there. Dessert dissppeared mysteriously very quickly as you can see… give it a chance! 😊

A shabby Vietnamese eatery with a very short menu and huge portions at very attractive prices. I ordered pho bo. A liter portion for less than 8 euros. The place is very popular, so you either have to wait for a free table, or you can sit down with people eating. If the weather is good, you can sit on the terrace or in the first room, the far room is a slightly depressing room that has seen better days. But for such a price - screw it. The pho is a little oversalted, but still good. I recommend it to everyone who is hungry

Great neighborhood street food spot. If you're sociable and don't mind sharing a table with other people, this is the place for you! Prices are great, and the dishes have a Vietnamese touch and are truly delicious. We went there as a couple, left after half an hour, were full, and paid only €22.50 for two main courses and two mango lassis 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Colorful Berlin flair with delicious food - worth it!

Insanely great food since a million years, the #1 special of the day with chicken is my go-to (the tofu is also great but the chicken broth for the curry is just a level up imho). Don't listen to the reviews badmouthing the service and the place, who cares what identity politic fashion victims have to say, they have no room in their ego for taste anyway. Just come with enough Deutsch sprache and common sense to not be a dummkopf and you'll have a wonderful meal. Trust

I loved to go here when I moved to Berlin in 2011, but the magic is long gone. It's just to overcrowded for me and the staff is not really nice and places people next to you even if you dont want. Introverts hell. The food is good, but it happens several times to me, that I got meat in my vegetarian dish.

The food is very tasty, the portions are large and, above all, the prices are very good. But in the evening at least it is incredibly crowded and very stressful. The employees are nice but also very stressed. Recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious, inexpensive Vietnamese food and has no problem with little space and a few minutes of waiting time!

Unfriendly service by the staff. Choice of food was very limited as, according to the staff, there was no meat left, only tofu and the price should stay the same. Prices have risen dramatically in a short period of time. When paying, people constantly asked about the tip. Afterwards we were rudely escorted to the door. The situation here has really gotten worse, so unfortunately I can no longer recommend this place.

Declined a lot over the years. Been coming for seven years. Service has become rude to the point I don't see the point in returning and will tell friends this place is not worth it anymore. A real shame for Neukölln.

Always a joyful quick lunch/dinner where you sit at communal tables and eat curry with mango lassie. Prices are increasing but it's still affordable.

We get the hype - good portions, yummy food and very affordable €6.90 mains! You do have to share tables with others so not a conducive place for get togethers and conversations. It was also quite busy when we visited. We got the green curry with chicken which was delicious, would recommend if you’re looking for no frills, cheap Asian food.

Fast, fresh tasting, tasty and inexpensive. It's packed full limited menu which I think helps keep service fast. You might share a table with someone you don't know. I will definitely be back.

This shop is simply legendary. The dish of the day (curry) has always tasted great for years! Prepared fresh every day. And the price is still under 7€. This is basically unbeatable ❤️

I love Hamy Cafe! I've been coming here since many years and it has never disappointed me. It is a perfect lunch spot! The food comes out very quickly, the daily menu has two dishes - curry with rice and a noodle dish, these are with meat or fish but you can ask for tofu instead (however everything has cream and/or fish sauce, but that's how Vietnamese cuisine is :)) The regular menu is very small and simple, but I have never had a meal I didn't enjoy. No reservations, takeaway available, cash only, loud service, drinks often come out after food, prepare to share seating with other hungry strangers and sometimes you have to wait for a spot to open but it never takes long. This is just a little different style of cafe, no big-smiley service and unnecessary stuff. Come, eat, pay, leave... and it's perfect. Favorite hangover meal is Pho Bo. The lime and pineapple drink is super refreshing and the vietnamese espresso on ice with condensed milk is low key my favorite coffee in town. Looking forward for the next many years of eating here.

An institution in Berlin. If you want to get your fill at a fair price, this is absolutely the right place for you. An absolute recommendation for the quantity and quality of the dishes.

Soup a bit bland, rice dish very good. Prices very good. Piecework for the workforce. Smiling forbidden?

Very small restaurant, we sat outside and it was very pleasant and relaxed. The menu only has a small selection, so all dishes were reserved in record time. And that even though there was a real rush. I had a soup that tasted fantastic 👍 all dishes can also be served vegetarian upon request. The prices are absolutely okay, so I can happily recommend a visit.

Well, lots of nice reviews here...but how cheap are you even if you allow yourself to be treated very badly in order to save a few euros...No matter how the food tastes, if you are treated like a traffic light man it's such a shop an absolute no-go... asked an employee for the food menu, he looked very annoyed and disappeared into the store. Super tasty food and you really can't complain about the price! :) Unfortunately I can't give a star for the service. Super unfriendly and annoyed service, she rolled her eyes when asked and there was no “thank you” for the tip, only the change was thrown on the table. It's really a shame that the service staff takes such a liking to the visitors, bad moods can happen, but I found the behavior absolutely brazen, and unfortunately there was no politeness or hospitality at all.

We have been here many times over the years, but unfortunately this last visit was disappointing: we ordered 2 different pho dishes but both were tasteless. We cannot eat them. When we explained the issue to the waiter, he told us that it tasted fine. At the end we only paid for one dish, so quite fair. It is a shame because we always enjoyed this place in the past.

ATTENTION ⚠️ we have meat in the vegetarian food ‼️⚠️actually we have ordered here regularly for over 15 years and it has always been delicious. However, it has happened several times now that a vegetarian dish was made with chicken instead of tofu. same today. We ordered the vegetarian children's menu with rice noodles and broth 4 times, so far everything was fine. The waitress brought the food and then asked me if I ordered chicken or tofu. I specifically said I wanted tofu beforehand, so she apologized since they had made the meal with chicken and went back inside. She came out after just 2-3 minutes, even though the store was packed. I was happy about the good service and went home. only to find, among other things, large pieces of chicken in ALL 4 dishes ‼️ apparently they just roughly picked the chicken out with their hands and then put tofu in it. I'm vegetarian! and wonder how something like this can happen. Not only do they not remake the dish (that's not possible!), but I also wonder how messily one has to work to miss such large pieces of chicken! That's really not okay. Also, while reading through the reviews, I noticed that none of the "vegetarian" dishes are actually vegetarian, as they use either fish sauce or chicken broth in the food. It's a real shame because we really enjoyed going there, and it's completely impossible anyway!!

Unfortunately, contrary to all the reviews here, the bistro is an imposition. The food was almost inedibly seasoned and some of the ingredients smelled spoiled. The hygiene is the most disappointing thing and the staff is unfriendly and anti-social. I had to visit the restaurant a few times for a team meeting, but the more I was there, the worse it got, I felt. I wouldn't give any stars if I could, but unfortunately that's not possible. Oh yes, dear parents, Bistro Hamy is also incredibly child-unfriendly and absolutely unsuitable for eating there with a child or children. I'm a chef myself and I always try to find something good about a restaurant or bistro, but unfortunately here you'll be extremely disappointed in all areas.

Nach über zwei Jahren waren wir mal wieder bei unserem Lieblingsvietnamesen überhaupt. Wie immer ein Geschmackserlebnis. Unserer Meinung nach her hat sich die hohe Qualität kein bisschen verschlechtert. Einfach nur top. Dazu ein super schneller Service mit der gewissen hamy Kälte. Alle Hauptgerichte um die 6,5€. Nach wie vor einmaliger Preis.

Nichts los, trotzdem lange draußen auf eine Bedienung gewartet - irgendwann rein gegangen, um Getränke zu bestellen - es wurde nur auf den halb leeren Kühlschrank mit to-go Getränken gedeutet; man möge sich doch bitte selbst was herausnehemen (und bitte gleich bezahlen). Unmöglich. Quasi wie im Späti, bloß mit deutlich höheren Preisen.

Ordered vegetarian wontons and had meat in my mouth. I have been a vegetarian for 20 years... Unfortunately it was also available for takeaway and I couldn't complain about it again.

The food is really delicious, service was fast, not that friendly. Price to the value and quality you get is fantastic. Tables are shared with everyone, so you expect to sit with a stranger, but that’s lovely anyways.

Food is terrible, even for the cheap price. The broth is blend and the meat dry and tasteless. But the service is the worst. They are shouting at eachother. Servers getting pissed at you for no reason and then when you don’t give a tip because of this, they start getting even more annoyed. Don’t go here.

The food was very tasty. I had a mixed bowl with rice and a lot of veggies. They have a little ice cream bar at the entrance. So you can pick some dessert on the way out. It seems like the restaurant is newly opened. I think they could rearrange the lounge at the window to improve the atmosphere, especially by removing the computers.

As already mentioned in the previous reviews. This place is incredibly rude and impolite. I don't even want to mention the dirt in the store. When we wanted to have our food packed, the waitress literally threw the empty box on the table so that I could take care of it myself. When she was asked about it, she became rude and said she had more important things to do (in broken German). The other employees formed a circle around us because we didn't want to pay for this service. The problem actually started as soon as we entered this store, as we were neither greeted nor treated in any kind of nice way. Unfortunately, all employees, without exception, are a very bad kind of people. You won't find a single friendly face here. This has been known for years I will never enter this disgusting shop again.
