A very nice restaurant. The ambiance is really nice, beautifully playful, with very pleasant seating areas and a great outdoor area. The staff are very friendly, personable, and competent. And the food is definitely among the best Asian dishes I've ever had. I definitely recommend it!

This restaurant impresses across the board. The service is exceptionally fast and attentive, so there is hardly any waiting time. The food is not only visually appealing, but tastes excellent. The summer rolls with duck meat as a starter are particularly recommended – fresh, aromatic and perfectly balanced. The price-performance ratio is also very good: high-quality ingredients and excellent preparation at fair prices. Clear recommendation! The only negative point from my point of view: "Cash only" - although this is pointed out directly on the door and the savings bank is in sight.

Chodong is a Thai restaurant that serves very tasty and fresh dishes. Four years ago, my girlfriend and I were very enthusiastic about the restaurant from the start. The quality is still very good and the prices are very fair. A great restaurant in Friedrichshain at Ostkreuz.

Super tasty! You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. Very balanced seasoning the taste of everything comes out very well. You will remain full and smiling after enjoying it.

By far one of the best Asian restaurants I've eaten at in recent years. I paid just €11 for the Holy Chicken at lunch and was served a total of 4 dishes with 3 friends in less than 10 minutes. The curry coconut milk sauce was particularly outstanding! The service was very friendly and, as already mentioned, the food was served very quickly. Unfortunately, people tend to only forgive negative reviews, but forget to praise good things. That's what I want to do with this!

The food was very terrible. The soup gave me a stomach ache in the restaurant. The pho soup was also barely spicy and the filling of the dumplings was barely cooked through. My friend didn't like his food either. The only good thing was the service. They were very friendly and accommodating. Overall, the expensive prices are not worth it for the quality of the food.

Pretty Asian restaurant with many specialties and a varied menu. Our dishes were very tasty and beautifully presented. Staff was friendly and attentive. The Asian pizza (filled and fried rice paper) was really special, you have to try it.

Yesterday we had dinner with friends at this restaurant. I ate rice and tofu with curry. My friends similar options, even vegetarian options. Quiet atmosphere, good food, good price and waiters who attend you very well in everything you need. We highly recommend it.

The Pho here is really delicious and filling. It only gets quite cold in the winter because the heaters aren't on and in the summer it's difficult to get the sun or it's covered by the awnings - so I would rate the ambience as just okay

I found a metal scrap on my food, which can be **very** dangerous. Waiter said it's from the wok, but it looked much more like a staple from packaging, but much thicker. I used to come here frequently for the past 5 years, can't ever trust it again and will not come back.

Leckeres Essen. Aber das man für Extra Reis extra bezahlen muss, geht gar nicht. Jedenfalls könnte man vorher Bescheid sagen.

Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Sommerrollen und Dumblings waren lecker. Auch die Poh Suppe hat geschmeckt. Kellner waren freundlich und schnell.

Klassischer Vietnamese wie es im Kiez doch einige gibt. Man kann draussen sitzen und das Treiben auf der Boxhagener beobachten. Wie bei allen Vietnamesen: Schneller Service. Hat mir jetzt nicht besser als bei anderen geschmeckt aber auch nicht schlechter. Standard würde ich mal sagen. Die Auswahl ist riesig. Achtung: Nur Barzahlung. Für mich in der heutigen Zeit ein absoluten No-Go aber die Gründe dafür sind ja allgemein bekannt :-D

Wunderbar herzliches und freundliches Personal. Die Gerichte mit Liebe gemacht und ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus. Draußen entspannte Atmosphäre, trotz großer Straße in der Nähe. Drinnen große Holztische, die dazu einladen sie mit all den feinen Leckereien voll zu stellen und schnacken bis die Sonne untergeht. Das einzige woran man denken sollte, ist genug Bargeld eingepackt zu haben, da Kartenzahlung nicht geht. (aber es gibt genügend Bankautomaten in der Nähe) PS: Es lohnt sich!

Good place if you look for Vietnam taste. Dishes were okay, nothing else specially tasty and overpriced from my point of view (the rice portion is small in compare to similar places in Berlin)
