Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for service at the beginning, even though the restaurant wasn't even half full. For my burger, I tried the Mexican with Los Angeles fries. It tasted very good. The food also arrived quite quickly, despite our large table. Unfortunately, my fries (and others') were quite cold. However, the taste and texture were still acceptable. Unfortunately, after the meal, the espresso we ordered arrived only lukewarm. This could be improved. Other drink orders also took a long time (even though the opened bottles were already at the bar). The drinks were almost exclusively served in bottles. The exceptions were the wheat beer or cocktails... I didn't notice anything negative about the restaurant that evening, but the next day I noticed that my clothes smelled quite strongly of fries... Conclusion: Delicious food, very friendly service, but the rest could be improved.

Cozy place where the open entrance gives a more lovely feeling. Really good with both the own beer and the food. It must be said that it is quite hot in the burger so if you like stronger food it is recommended. Nice staff and fast service.

The burger was simply incredible! Juicy meat, perfectly cooked, and fresh, crispy ingredients. You can tell they care about quality here. Add to that the homemade fries and delicious sauces – a dream! The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. An absolute must for every burger fan!

A very cozy burger joint with a clear, fresh, and modern menu. I had the "Japanese" and it was very tasty. The sides are also good. The Spicy Ginger beer is still on the menu, but apparently there was no demand for it anymore, which is a shame. I also liked that, in addition to the men's and women's restrooms, there was also a unisex restroom; that made me feel especially welcome. I'd love to come back!

I've tried many creations here over the years – the Argentinian, Mexican, and most recently, the Japanese, are all highly recommended. I just wish the Norwegian (smoked salmon, rösti, and horseradish) were back.

Who would do something like that? Right? That would be completely wrong... A restaurant that can only deal with negative feedback about portion sizes via a lawyer? That sounds like something out of a bad movie :) Okay, maybe it's not a lawyer but just some weird company that takes care of deleting unpleasant reviews. Please don't sue me for defamation... Here's my edited review, since the first one disappeared for some unknown reason... In my opinion, this used to be a great place, and I even gave it a fantastically positive review. Not anymore. From my perspective. YES, MY VIEW. MY OPINION. No longer recommended. The portions are much too small for me, a man who's 1.78 meters tall and weighs under 80 kg, and the prices are too high. I really like to be full when I go out to eat... A burger for €18 without any side dish definitely doesn't fill me up. That's why I bought fries with it, of course. For €5.50, you get a (in my opinion) small water glass full of fries. They're very tasty, but how many thick fries can fit in a water glass like that? I'm afraid I'm not allowed to name a number, because that could be defamatory, but it's not enough to fill me up. Luckily, I also had a plate about the size of a saucer (it could have been bigger, please don't report me because I don't remember the size of the plate) with tortilla chips for €8 (the quantity of which I'm not allowed to mention for reasons, but there weren't many). I also ordered a dollop of ketchup for 50 cents, but that didn't fill me up either. I don't get full from portions like that, and neither does my cute little friend. We used to love eating here, but now, due to the portion size and whatever's going on with Google reviews, we definitely won't go back. This is not defamatory, but a factual report. Nothing is made up; we ate there, the portions were small, and I left the place hungry after eating. Normal behavior would be to respond politely, like: "We're sorry you were dissatisfied with the portion size. This is the first time we've heard this feedback, but we're told blah blah..." Or you could contact a law firm to have the objectionable text (or were there perhaps other comments that were removed?) removed. We definitely won't be coming back.

Comments that the owner doesn't like, such as insufficient portion sizes, unfriendly service, or similar, are removed by Google (at the request of a nice lawyer?). So don't be surprised by the great reviews for minimal portion sizes; the bad reviews have probably already been deleted.

I have to admit, I was absolutely thrilled. Alex, the waitress, was super charming and had great recommendations. We had the Tutto Bene menu, which is French. Really very good!

Beer in a soda glass is a no-go!!! The price is too high for a hamburger with mediocre [3-] quality. I've had much better. The atmosphere is poor.

Nice place with good food. The sandwiches are really well-made. The only problem is the price, which I think is high, considering that fries aren't included, and if you order them, they come in a rather modest portion, and you have to pay for the salsa.

I've been there twice now. Each time, it was simply divine from the first bite to the last. Buttery brioche, freshly ground, medium-rare meat that melts in your mouth, all in delicious, creative combinations with various sauces and dishes like tomato pesto, spicy guacamole, etc. Plus, delicious fries with excellent sauces and homemade drinks. Another positive: There are various options for vegetarians, with, for example, beetroot patties instead of meat. It's definitely worth a try, especially at lunchtime for the lunch special, as you can save some money. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

They advertised themselves as partners of the Augsburg City voucher and then refused to accept the voucher. That's how they lure and rip off customers. At least the burger was good...

Well the selection is very unusual special fries taste of nothing

I've rarely had such bad food as at the Hamburgerei Augsburg. The fries had obviously been fried several times and tasted stale, probably sitting around for hours. And yet they were still cold. The burger? Also cold. The meat was of very dubious quality; it felt like it had been diluted or mixed with something, absolutely unappetizing. It practically fell apart. The burger bun was rock-hard, dry, and far from fresh. And then the price: For such a tiny portion, it's simply extortionate. The burger was so small that it could probably feed a 9-year-old. Absolutely ridiculous for adults.

A small but nice restaurant that is perhaps a bit noisy because of the cars outside but nothing else. It's super delicious. Everyone is very cheerful and friendly. I can recommend it to everyone and will be back :-)

Wir sind durch Zufall bei unserer Suche nach einem Restaurant darauf gestoßen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir haben den Amerikaner-Burger gegessen und die Süßkartoffel-Sticks mit Trüffel-Mayonnaise. Es war alles soooo lecker und saftig. Vielen Dank für den tollen Burger. Das Personal war auch super nett und freundlich. Leider waren wir auf der Durchreise und werden so schnell nicht wieder kommen.

The service was really fast and friendly. I ordered Argentinian Burger with fries and the burger was amazing. Fries and ginger ale are quite standard, they were ok. Usually i would give 4-star but they did not charge us for drinks and coleslaw due to an issue with one of the drinks and coleslaw recipe being different than usual (my partner did not eat it). It was a nice gesture from their side and I believe it would deserve one extra star for it.

Used to be good, but no longer recommended. Measly portions at astronomical prices. If I'm paying €18 for a burger, I'd like to be full. But for that money, you only get the burger, no side salad, no fries, NOTHING. Yes, food is expensive, which is fine, BUT then I also want to be damned full. I'm certainly not ordering three €18 burgers... A slightly larger saucer with a nice handful of fries and six tortilla chips for €8? €5.50 for a small water glass full of fries??? That's not even 10 fries?????? Absolutely outrageous. If you like to be full, you should definitely not eat here. Never again.

A little disappointed after the highly positive reviews. Burger was not bad (meat was juicy) but quite small. For a dedicated burger place it was also not that special, I've had more impressive burgers in places not focused on them. Beer was served in the bottle until asked for a glass - unusual in Europe in my experience.

Rude waitress, I asked for tap water which she made me pay 4€, the burgers were OK, but everything is done to make you pay more, supplements, sauces, fries... but the bad point is especially the unpleasant atmosphere, if you don't speak English she will not consider you.

Burgers are good. But not more than that. French fries serving called Piemont promise Truffel Mayonnaise which ended up to be simple mayo, too much salt.

Feeling full like after a burger from MC'D's - no way. Tender, medium to medium rare, juicy, with fresh toppings is the motto here. A great experience for me in the burger world - as my somewhat sensitive stomach usually feels like I'm swallowing stones when I eat a small burger at the famous franchise, followed by an unparalleled feeling of fullness. For me, these burgers are easy to digest and taste wonderful - for my taste, the Argentinian was missing a hint of salt, but if that's the biggest problem, then it's also irrelevant. We reserved a table, which wouldn't have been necessary on the Saturday evening before Easter - but still better safe than sorry and since it's even online, no hassle.

We celebrated a birthday at the Hamburgerei. Despite the large group, Ramona's team looked after us very attentively. I enjoyed the “Persian” burger (medium beef “to the point of perfection”) and my companion enjoyed the “Sicilian” with breaded chicken and the current “special variety” of “Japanese-style” sweet potatoes. The house beer and blackcurrant spritzer are a good addition with or without alcohol. A fair price level for a big city: the total for two people was less than EUR 40. The next time we visit the second branch in Kempten, we will be more hungry for dessert.

Burgers are ok but also quite small in comparison. I would have easily had to eat 2 to be full. Unfortunately there are no side dishes and so you can quickly get to €20 with fries and unfortunately you can't leave the restaurant hungry!

Went here twice and had really good burgers. There's always a cool burger of the month. Prices are fair and you always get a seat, at least at lunchtime and in the afternoon.

Long wait for a burger with fries that were fried too long and cold at the same time. The sauce wasn't to my taste, but it was homemade, only you had to look for the tiny portion on the plate, it was used up after a third of the already tiny portion of fries. The burger was burnt on the outside but otherwise ok. The coleslaw was also ok. Definitely too expensive for just under 20 euros as a lunch special with a 0.33l drink. I don't want to know what prices are called in the evening

We spontaneously went out to eat here and the service was really great and the staff was very nice. Unfortunately, the ingredients of the burger combined to produce a very strange taste and the fries were far too salty in combination with the guacamole. Unfortunately, we all had stomach ache afterwards. Still a cool shop with a nice vibe.

We were passing through and couldn't find a restaurant that was open at 3 p.m. So we ended up in the Hamburgerei and it was a real hit. The food is very tasty and you can eat it with your eyes. You can taste and see the high-quality food they work with. Rarely have I had such good burgers. The service was super nice and the prices are fair. Clear 100% recommendation

It's easy to sit there and meet friendly and even moderately interested staff. Unfortunately, the burger selection cannot keep its promise. So I couldn't taste much of the promised ingredients in the Persian. Since the local standards such as salt and pepper were conspicuous by their absence, the culinary experience was rather poor. But the once proud Persia is now rather poor... In that respect, the burger was good.

Even though I don't like popcorn, it's a special treat that we can snack on it while we wait. Fast service, very tasty food and drinks. The waiter is helpful and nice. 😊 Thank you

We're just in the Kempten branch and think the hamburger shop here is simply great. Friendly staff, delicious sweet potato fries, steak bowl and American burgers. Truly recommended.

The Persian. Incredibly good chutney with very tasty, juicy, medium patty. My girlfriend had the Argentinian. The honey mayonnaise wasn't quite our cup of tea, but maybe there's someone out there who might enjoy this sauce. Grilled cheese offers a good alternative for vegetarians. I can't say anything about the vegan patties. The fries were the only thing I didn't like because they were too crispy, not particularly seasoned and the “worst thing” was the value for money for getting a small glass of fries filled for €4. Fries are a bit of a flop. Burgers, ambience and staff are great
