Hako Ramen Potsdam in Potsdam

The restaurant looks cool, but for eating ramen it was quite dark and even though it was broad daylight outside, we felt like it was evening. It would have been nice to have some brighter lighting. The server just disappeared at one point and while there was someone at the bar out front, the person did not come to ask whether we wanted to pay. Additionally, we told the server we would like to pay and she just did not come back… About the food: I am not sure how this restaurant has gotten to 4,3 stars…I’ve eaten a lot of ramen in different countries and this is the worst I have had. While the price is completely fine, the bamboo shoots in my miso ramen were from a glass. The broth tasted really odd and not like miso at all. My boyfriend’s ramen were okay, the chashu was good but overall it was just bad. I left utterly disappointed and this was the first time, I’ve felt like leaving without finishing my food. I will not be coming again.

For the first time I was there for dinner. We wanted to try the buffet offering. Unfortunately we learned that this is only offered on weekends. Disappointed, we ordered a mango lassi because we were really looking forward to it. Less than 2 minutes later, the cancellation came. The food was delicious and plentiful. The waiters were friendly. Price - performance is right

We spontaneously went to Hako and were not disappointed! The food was fantastic! In the pictures you can see the vegan duck and the vegan crispy gyoza. The duck in particular was very good, a fantastic crispy crust and very good texture of the "meat". Great recommendation! The portions were very large and we all had our food packed. To drink we all had the Hako Special, a very good fruity and refreshing drink. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even when it got busier.

If "Ramen" then only here! Great service, very polite and friendly. Highly recommended! Always worth a visit!

Food, ambience (too dark) and service mediocre!

My first experience trying Japanese ramen in Potsdam was somewhat disappointing. To start with, the portion size was noticeably small, leaving me unsatisfied and still a bit hungry after finishing. Considering the price, which was in line with the local dining scene, I expected something more substantial. As for the taste, while the broth and noodles were acceptable, the overall flavor was quite bland. It lacked the rich, deep flavors that one would expect from a good bowl of Japanese ramen. The toppings were quite basic as well, nothing particularly exciting or memorable, and the dish overall felt a bit one-dimensional. In terms of service, it was also just average. The staff was polite but not particularly warm or attentive, and there wasn’t much interaction or engagement throughout the meal. The service felt a bit detached, which didn’t help elevate the dining experience. All in all, it was a rather unremarkable experience. If I return to Potsdam in the future, I don’t think this place would be at the top of my list to visit again.

The starters are particularly recommended.

Asian restaurant, even have Tiger beer from Singapore. Very good Asian dishes. I enjoyed it very much and felt nostalgic again.

The service is nice. Well, you order and hardly exchange words, but yes, that's ok. The ambience is also ok, but a bit too dark and a strange light color. I think this is because all the lights shine through wooden decor. As someone who wore glasses, it was really difficult to read the map. As for food… unfortunately nothing good. The ramen had no taste and some of the ingredients were not completely cooked through. The portion was huge but unfortunately the taste wasn't good.

Not an exceptional restaurant for me. But you should avoid going to the toilet. Very unclean, dark and the toilet seat doesn't fit on the bowl. In a restaurant you should feel comfortable in a place like this.

We ate all sorts of delicacies here and were very happy about the vegan options. It was all very tasty. The fried dumplings are particularly recommended

The food is good Ordering from the menu is always better, but you can also choose the buffet.

You can eat well there, especially if you don't mind people walking past when you sit outside. If you concentrate on your companion, it is still very pleasant to stay there. The buffet looked inviting. The dishes are reasonably priced and the portions are okay, sometimes even a bit too large. You will definitely be full. You may need to add a little seasoning here and there, but that's still better than overly seasoned food. We'll be back soon. Thank you!

Very tasty food and drinks. The weekend buffet is excellent 👍. The prices are okay and the service is good too. The portions are great value for money. There is only one star deduction for the sanitary facilities, which could be a little better.

The selection at the buffet is not particularly large. There were only remnants of a lot of things. The food was no longer really warm and the vegetables in the sauces were completely overcooked. I didn't like it at all.

Eaten on 8/21/24 Fever, stomach cramps, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting are the result. Will be reported. CAUTION! Two different dishes were eaten, both with meat. Even our dog vomited because he ate a small amount of meat. Absolutely disgusting. Addition: Unfortunately, the broth has also lost some of its flavor here, the noodles are just off the shelf and absolutely not recommended. Suddenly no more credit card payments. Used to be our favorite restaurant. Now it is avoided at a distance.

Super fresh and delicious cuisine. Dim sum and wontons are partly made in-house, just ask which ones are homemade. Wonton soup is world class and I've eaten a hell of a lot of it. Unfortunately there are only a few tables outside, but the inside is very nice and attractive. Clear recommendation from me. Thank you very much and keep it up.

Well, unfortunately 90% of the food on the buffet was cold, the selection was relatively small and some of it was really dry.... That can be done better. Unfortunately, we waited forever for the freshly fried things because they were cold. The service was friendly. We won't go there again.

Overall I liked it What I ate was chicken kash curry, the price was 12.9 euros and the portion was large. The taste seems more like a Korean curry than what you might expect from a Japanese curry. And there's a salad on the side, so it goes well with the meat, and the rice feels like a bit much, but it's better than nothing. And the karate is delicious too! Recommended Recommended

I absolutely loved my visit to Hako Ramen. The food was amazing. The staff was super friendly, it felt like they genuinely cared about making our visit and meal enjoyable 😊. A perfect place for a great meal. Highly recommend this place😊

Es war so mega lecker!!!! Die Bedienungen waren sehr nett. Die Sprachbarriere war etwas hinderlich aber kein Minuspunkt. Der baulärm ist kacke aber nicht der Fehler des Restaurants. Buffet ist nur noch am Wochenende aber das war auch nicht unser Ziel. Das versprochene Rahmen hat uns gefehlt. Aber, dass was wir ausgewählt haben war so lecker, dass wir nix vermisst haben. Unfortunately, the buffet didn't convince me. Since I came at a less busy time (5:30 p.m.), about 70% of the food was cold and no longer fresh. That was disappointing and significantly affected my overall impression. Also, we couldn't pay by card.

Nice ramen restaurant in the middle of downtown Potsdam. We've been there twice for ramen, now again for the newly opened buffet. Ramen is really good and delicious. The buffet was also good, especially the various summer rolls and the Vietnamese dishes (as far as we know, the operators are Vietnamese). Some of it (e.g. dumplings) was probably frozen goods, but that doesn't spoil the overall impression but mainly increases the selection. The buffet currently costs EUR 20.90 per person and is worth the money. Important: The restaurant closes at 10 p.m. and you should not appear at the buffet after 9 p.m. for a relaxed meal.

Nettes Ramen-Lokal mitten in der Innenstadt von Potsdam. Wir waren schon zweimal zum Ramen-Essen dort, jetzt noch einmal für das neu eröffnete Buffet. Ramen ist wirklich gut und lecker. Das Buffet war auch gut, insbesondere die verschiedenen Sommerrollen und die Vietnamesischen Gerichte (die Betreiber sind soweit wir wissen Vietnamesen). In Teilen (z.B. Dumplings) handelte es sich vermutlich um TK-Ware, was aber den Gesamteindruck nicht trübt sondern hauptsächlich die Auswahl vergrößert. Das Buffet kostet aktuell 20,90 EUR pro Person und ist sein Geld wert. Wichtig: Das Lokal schliesst um 22:00 und nach 21:00 sollte man für entspanntes Essen am Buffet nicht mehr erscheinen.

The staff is very busy, the food was very tasty, the rolls and the fish on the rolls fresh, we had to wait a long time for them to prepare new rolls in the buffet.

I do not recommend. Food poor. Curry as if I had poured the entire package of spice into my mouth. In addition, the consistency is slimy. Good Tantan Ramen. Although it says spicy, it is not very spicy. I don't like spicy food very much and I tolerated it without problems. The place is pretty good. Rest 2 stars because although they accept VISA, they do not accept MasterCard

Unfortunately no Tonkotsu ramen on the menu. That makes a ramen restaurant kind of sketchy.

A truly Japanese atmosphere. The service was very nice and advised on choosing a meal. This was our first ramen. We trusted and were not disappointed. It was really very tasty. It turned out that you can't pay with Visa or MasterCard, but luckily we also had cash.

Price-performance ratio miserable. Broth mercilessly dominated by ginger, toppings are cold in the bowl, noodles of poor consistency. Tourist trap, better avoid it. However, service is attentive, friendly and uncomplicated.

The food and the homemade lemonade are really delicious. When paying you must have an EC card or sufficient cash with you. Credit cards are not accepted and are currently the most common.

Unfortunately, ramen is below average, tasteless but with high prices. Strong smell of chlorine throughout the place and unfortunately not remotely authentic Japanese cuisine. It may be enough for Brandenburgers...

Not really recommended. We've enjoyed good ramen in a few restaurants, but this wasn't one of them. There was also an unpleasant smell in the restaurant. A disappointment for us.

Amazing food, quiet place: excellent for a chill nice dinner with friends

Unfortunately, the restaurant is currently really difficult to find because the entire Brandenburger Straße is being built. Unfortunately I have to join the previous people and criticize the ramen. The broth, which is the heart of the ramen, tasted completely watery without any real taste, which I was very disappointed with. For the price of around €12-16 You just expect "good to very good" ramen, but that was nothing.. The starters (Gyozas) were quite ok.. We won't be going here again because we've eaten a thousand times better ramen for significantly less money.

Had dinner there twice in a row. The first time everything was ok, but the second time I had a waitress who was immediately unfriendly when I didn't want an ingredient from the dish. That wouldn't work, and when I said it would work last time, she had to ask her boss first. When I asked her whether pork was the same as pork belly or other pork, she didn't know what to say and apparently didn't understand enough German. The young woman wasn't polite either. Your boss should keep an eye on it. Hence, unfortunately, the point deduction.

Starters very tasty, the soups also very tasty, an interesting soup experience, you should definitely visit.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food as we didn't get it. After a short wait we got a table at the back. We weren't given a menu but we had already seen the menu online. Unfortunately we didn't get around to ordering because no waiter had time for us. After 15 minutes I got up, walked to the waiter and said that we would like to order. He said he would be with us in a moment. We then waited a little more than 10 minutes. Then we got up and left as there was no indication we would ever be served. In the meantime, I saw that guests at more than three tables wanted to pay but couldn't because no waiter came to them. I was really looking forward to the ramen because of the many positive reviews, but at least that evening the staff thwarted our plans.

We ate ramen for the first time and found it delicious. In my opinion, the broth could have been a little stronger and the cooked chicken unfortunately tasted very bland. The Goyza with pork were very tasty. The staff could have been a little friendlier; When we asked again for the dessert menu, the staff simply said that all desserts were sold out without any further comment.

Ramen was really mediocre to bad, but gyoza was very tasty. Unfortunately the broth was really not strong and semi-spicy. The atmosphere is nice, but the stools are really uncomfortable. We had made a reservation and wanted to sit in a “reserved” seat, but were then asked to take another, unreserved seat, completely squeezed in by others. Two women got the place, even though there were two of us. You don't actually need to make a reservation. Apparently we forgot to register ourselves. Unfortunately I also found it really loud. We thought the prices were okay, but in the end they weren't appropriate. I would have even paid more for a good broth.

A very pleasant restaurant, food was delicious. At the end we noticed that there is also a restaurant part with all you can eat for 20 euros. They could have pointed this out to us at the entrance. It was our first time there and we didn't know our way around. Therefore points deducted for service.

Sehr schönes Ramen Lokal. Perfekte und schnelle Bedienung. Es gibt für jeden etwas, eine vielfältige Getränke sowie Ramenauswahl.

Die Ramen waren in Ordnung auch wenn mit den Toppings etwas gespart wurde. Dafür war der Preis aber recht niedrig. Leider war der Service nicht so gut, weshalb wir lange warten mussten.

Es wäre keine Übertreibung zu sagen, dass in den 6 Monaten in denen ich jetzt schon in Potsdam lebe ich und mein Freund noch nie woanders bestellt haben. Die Ramen sind einfach so gut dass wir auch teilweise zwei Mal in der Woche hier bestellt haben und wir trotzdem am liebsten nochmal bestellt hätten. Wir bezeichnen uns als Hako Hooligans und jeder der es wagt mit Hako Ramen anzulegen legt sich automatisch mit uns an. Jetzt Mal ernsthaft die Ramen sind einfach krankhaft gut besonders alle Formen der Tantan Ramen die sie führen egal ob die veganen oder die mit Fleisch beide sind so so fantastisch. Es gibt im allgemeinen sehr viele fantastische vegane und vegetarische alternativen hier aber auch die nicht veganen Ramen mit chashu sind himmlisch. I love love die Kimchi Ramen too und würde gerne in dieser Brühe baden wenn ich könnte. Die zwei Male bei denen ich im Restaurant essen war, war das Personal einfach zuckersüß, freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Ambiente und die Dekoration des Restaurants wirklich extrem schön und gemütlich. Nun zu dem KARAAGE!!! Es ist so gut wenn ich vor einer Hinrichtung stehen würde und ich müsste ein letztes Mahl wählen ,wäre es das Karaage von Hako. Es ist saftig, knusprig und sehr gut gewürzt und die Soße dazu ist einfach so Bombe dass mein Freund und ich uns zum ersten Mal etwas gebeeft haben als ich ohne ihn was übrig zu lassen das Karaage aufgegessen habe. Wenn ihr in Potsdam seit oder hier wohnt müsst ihr unbedingt zu Hako. An das Team von Hako Ramen i love you guys.

Das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis ist wirklich super! Die Ramen sehr lecker und passende Getränke gibt es auch dazu! Für Hundebesitzer leider nicht geeignet, da Hunde verboten sind aber wenn man das weiß kann man das ja einplanen.

Wir haben abends das Buffetangebot genutzt, alle Speisen waren frisch und lecker. Die Option mit der Grillstation fanden wir auch super... Danke an das Team

Gut gelegen, nette Bedienung, hatte veganen Ramen mit reichlich Pilzen, leider am Stück, 1 ganzen Blatt Pakchoi (war so auch schlecht zu essen), reichlich große Tofu Stücke (mir zu fad, und ich mag Tofu) und einer Brühe, die pur gegessen irgendwie zu fettig war. War ok, würde es aber nicht noch mal bestellen.

Genau das Richtige, wenn es kalt und düster draußen ist:) Suppe war sehr lecker und hat mich aufgewärmt und war sehr sättigend. Es lief schöne Weihnachtsmusik und die Einrichtung war sehr stilvoll japanisch gehalten. Die Suppe war schnell da und wurde von einer mega lieben Kellnerin gebracht:)

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Preise waren moderat. Das Personal war freundlich. Für das Ambiente wurde eine Kerze am Tisch angezündet, es gab jedoch keine Tischdecken und die Holzstühle waren sehr hart und kalt, daher für längeres Sitzen ungeeignet, da wären Kissen für die Stühle wünschenswert. Andere bequemere Sitzmöbel waren auch nicht zu sehen. Die Speisekarten warena auf sehr großen einlaminierten Blättern und nahmen fast den ganzen Tisch ein, das war etwas hinderlich wenn man sich direkt gegenüber saß. Ansonsten war jedoch sehr schön und durchaus eine Empfehlung wert.

Ein wirklich sehr gutes japanisches Restaurant. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Lage mitten in der Einkaufsstraße ist sehr schön und man findet auch draußen Platz. Das Essen war einfach großartig. So geht japanische Küche. Und das ganze dann noch zu einem günstigen Preis. Weiter so. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr leckeres und gut sättigendes Ramen.

Die Ramensuppen waren wunderbar, der Raum ist sehr harmonisch gestaltet. Die veganen Gyozas sind besonders hervorzuheben. PS: und gutes Chiliöl!

Die Speicherkarte vor Ort weicht leider etwas von der im Netz ab, das Essen ist jedoch lecker, Wartezeit zwischen Bestellung und Erhalt war sehr gut, auch wenn Vorspeise nur 1 Minute vor dem Hauptgericht kam

Für ein vietnamesisches Japanrestaurant erstaunlich nah am orig. Geschmack der meisten Speisen, die wir bisher gegessen haben. Nur die Misobrühe schmeckt sehr eigenartig. Top z.B. Tori Karaage

Links a la carte, rechts Buffet zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Tolle Kombi. Die Ramen Suppen sind echt heilsam und kräftigend.

Waren zu Mittag hier eingekehrt. Es war voll und leider sehr laut. Restaurant wird offensichtlich von vielen jungen Gästen besucht. Mussten lange warten auf einen Kellner. Essen kam dann relativ schnell. Geschmacklich ist sicher viel Luft nach oben. Kein Restaurant zum entspannten Verweilen. Muss man mögen, für ins leider nichts.

Ramen muy sabroso, con buen y concentrado sabor. La ambientación de madera del local y los detalles y diseños a estilo japones hacen más agradable y acogedor en un día frío. El personal muy amable y rápido. Lo único que cambiaría; ramen Tantan de pollo con más contenido de pollo.

Leckere Ramen auf der Brandenburger Straße. Wir waren überrascht inmitten der Einkaufsmeile ein so gutes Ramen Restaurant zu finden. Hat alles super geschmeckt. preis Leistung war auch gut. Hier gibt es sogar diese leckeren japanischen Limonade Ramune in verschiedenen Sorten. Kinder waren auch sehr zufrieden. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir waren zuerst an einem Freitag zum Ramen essen hier, diese waren wirklich lecker ebenso die sidedishes. Es gibt vegan/vegetarische Optionen auf der Karte. Leider waren die Sitzmöbel (Hocker) wirklich nur kurzzeitig bequem. Das Ambiente jedoch sehr gemütlich. Zwei Wochen später haben wir das Buffet ausprobiert und wir wurden leider enttäuscht. Die meisten Speisen waren nicht richtig warm. Die Soßen hatten dicke trockene Ränder und sahen wirklich nicht lecker aus. Es gibt eine Grillstation, die Auswahl hier (Fisch, Fleisch, etwas Gemüse) sah frisch aus. Leider wurde hier bei den Meeresfrüchten nicht der Darm etc. vor dem grillen entfernt. An süßspeisen gab es TK Kuchen und etwas Obst. Der Service war super nett, jedoch etwas überfordert an diesem Tag.

Einfach super Toll, lecker Essen, alles frisch zubereitet, sehr gute Gewürze, 😁, immer eine gute Empfehlung, ich bin zufrieden und Satt rausgegangen, ein schöner Abend
