Haiky International in Regensburg

If it were possible, I would give it 0 stars. Unfortunately, we hadn't read the reviews, otherwise we wouldn't have come here in the first place. The fried noodles were extremely salty, and my girlfriend's vegetable stir-fry was tasteless. The sweet and sour sauce tasted very artificial. I definitely recommend not eating here.

POSITIVES: + Central location in the shopping center: Directly on the upper floor of the Regensburg Arcaden, ideal for a quick meal while shopping. Easily accessible by bus and train (main station just a few minutes' walk away). + Large selection of Asian dishes: Classics such as fried noodles, rice dishes, sweet and sour duck, curries, and vegetarian options. Tofu, chicken, beef, and seafood are also on the menu. + Fast preparation • Food is served promptly, especially convenient at lunchtime or for takeout. + Ambience: Open kitchen, self-service counter, and food court-style seating. Clean, modern, and functionally furnished, suitable for short visits. NEGATIVES: - Unfriendly service: Staff sometimes seem stressed, rude, or unhelpful, even outside of peak hours. - Inconsistent quality: Bland flavor, greasy food, or overcooked vegetables. The spring rolls (v2) we were served were also not fresh but frozen from a bulk pack. - Hygiene deficiencies: Criticism of sticky tables, dirty trays, and a lack of cleaning behind the counter. CONCLUSION: Personally, once was enough for me.

Overcooked pasta, meat tasted like it was cooked two days ago... I don't recommend it.

Hygiene deficiencies! Tables haven't seen a clean cloth in a while; they're sticky! Check cutlery beforehand to make sure it's clean. Drinks are best served from bottles. The food was bland and flavorless. Pasta without oil, carrots with skin on, and many ingredients that were actually on the menu were missing. A splash of sauce was added for an extra charge! The place has deteriorated considerably! Every cent is too much to waste on this "food"!

So sweet! I ordered two spring rolls (3 each), and the gentleman was so sweet and actually put in twice as many. I only noticed later, since it was takeout. They were really nice and warm, freshly made, and delicious, except for the sauce, which was very runny. I was so happy, though; it really made my day! :)

I had a vegetarian Thai curry. The vegetables were okay. The tofu was rotten. It tasted completely expired, rotten, and a bit fishy, and smelled awful. It was noticeable in the texture, as it was extremely soft and unusually fell apart. It's hard to describe...

I've been there twice already. The noodles were too salty and I ate half a portion and felt sick afterwards. The rice was too salty, but the meat was OK. Communication with the staff was difficult.

I found that the staff was very unclear, that the food was very expensive because it wasn't tasty and special. The rest of the food was warm but mushy and gristly, but still delicious vegetables, but I had very bad diarrhea and then a stomach ache, too, and that was very severe.

It's not like this restaurant looks bad from the outside, but after hours of diarrhea in the toilet, and having friends who have experienced the same thing. It's very sad, but no thanks, you can really save money, please don't eat there, thanks. You should know :)

It was the worst food I've ever eaten. It tasted so bad that eating it made me nauseous. We all left half our meal, and there were also half-finished plates at other tables. I regret not asking for my money back.

I've been eating Asian food for years, unfortunately I couldn't finish it for the first time, it was the first time I've experienced such bad food. I advise everyone to eat somewhere else. Hands off.

It's been a long time since I've eaten as bad a meal as I did here. Not worth a cent. Apart from that, the woman was extremely unfriendly. Not even worth a star.

Lady in service extremely unfriendly. I've never experienced anything so inflexible. I wanted food made up of specific ingredients that were all in bowls in front of me. But that was absolutely not possible, only the food that was on the boards was referred to. When I asked why she couldn't just put the rice and peanut sauce and the crispy end on a plate, she pointed to a sign that said a chicken and peanut sauce meal and that I should order that. But I wanted duck instead of chicken. The fact that card payments have not been possible there for years is still the lesser evil. I left straight away and didn't order anything.

The “lady” in service is so unfriendly, if she doesn’t feel like working there, then she should look for something else. Impossible. And the food? Not particularly good either... I ordered fried noodles with chicken. There were 2 small pieces of chicken in there, no more. Noodles weren't well cooked either. Not recommended! The unfriendliness alone makes you lose your appetite!

I can only agree with the other comments. The lady in service is absolutely unfriendly, I didn't particularly like the food. The second star is for the good price (€6.50).

Today I just wanted to wait a bit until my wife came back from shopping 🛍️ and wanted to sit down for a moment. I fully understand the importance of saving seats for guests who want to eat - especially in a busy restaurant during peak hours. 🍽️😊 However, if only three of the estimated 50 seats are occupied and you are still asked to stand up because you are supposedly disrupting customer traffic, 🤔 you could perhaps consider whether this measure is really appropriate. In such cases, a slightly more flexible approach could not only ensure more understanding among guests, but also help the restaurant to be perceived as hospitable. 💡👍 Unfortunately, I have to say that you were unable to win me as a customer because of this approach, as the greeting and treatment did not make me feel welcome. Food has gotten worse over the years. Sweet and sour sauce is not a dip, but thin, industrial soup water. Spring rolls drown in fryer oil. Staff rude. Had to get up from the table 3 times to pick up my food. Tables sticky.

The chicken fried rice was so tasteless, you can buy microwave rice with better taste. I can only advise against it.

There has been a sign there for more than 3 years saying that unfortunately card payments are not possible at this time. Don't want to know what happens to the money you give them. Unfriendly as hell, they don't even look at you and slap the change into your hand.

My chicken was cold and fell apart!!! The noodles are disgusting!!! The staff is totally unfriendly and I feel personally attacked!! It tastes like something from the school kitchen if you mess something up! I'm totally disappointed

Unfortunately the food is really not good. We had fried noodles with panko chicken. At least that's what was written on the board. The food was basically cold, nothing was fried. The chicken were hard little things that looked like squid rings. The drink was non-carbonated. Unfortunately, 1.9 is correct.

The baked chicken I ordered was not warm at all and looked like it was 5 days old. The food is not brought to the table either, but the staff "yells" through the restaurant that the food is ready and that you should pick it up at the counter. It's a real shame for my money. I wouldn't eat there again. No recommendation!

Staff absolutely unfriendly, condescending and unmotivated. Today we had drinks with glasses that simply tasted like dishwasher and chemicals. After returning the item, the atmosphere was even less friendly. Not recommended - it was the last time for us!

Actually, I wonder how the store can exist. Employees rude. Food tasteless. I still ask myself today why I actually ate the supposed beef (indefinable little flaxy pieces). Plus, the portion and price don't match. As soon as I drove home, my stomach felt sick. I therefore advise everyone to eat here.

I remember this Asian fast food joint from the days when you had to wait in line at lunchtime. Today you can get a place at any time. And why? Because there is a really very unfriendly lady behind the counter in the restaurant on the 1st floor. Rude and impatient, she asks you to give your order in a harsh tone. On the other hand, she speaks almost no German and snaps at you if you help yourself to the sauces on your own initiative because she simply doesn't understand anything. I think this woman has been standing behind this counter for too long and should be replaced for the sake of business. She doesn't enjoy this work, you can see that!

I don't understand why other people are complaining. The prices are top. The food is prepared quickly in front of you, it is hot and tastes great. I can only recommend it. (Ps: To all the mimimis who think the staff is unfriendly. These people are fast, efficient and just want to take your order. To get in your way, they don't get paid :)

Essen war abgestanden, Service unverschämt unfreundlich. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Würde es null Sterne geben, dann ich null gegeben. Verrückt noch nie in mein ganzen Leben so etwas unbeschreiblich schlechtes gegessen 😨

Bin eigentlich nicht empfindlich aber das hier ist einfach nur Lebensmittelvergiftung habe nach dem essen starke Bauchschmerzen gehabt. Mitarbeiter sind zu dem noch echt unfreundlich haben mich beleidigt

das essen ist nh beleidigung… hab dort gegessen mit freunden und die nudeln waren sehr trocken und das hühnchen war sicherlich kein huhn wäre das restaurant nicht im arcaden wäre es nicht weiter existent

Service ist unterirdisch und unfreundlich. Das Essen wird kalt geliefert und die Tische werden nicht abgewischt und sich unhygienisch. Vom Service darf man sich blöd anmachen lassen, wenn man alleine nicht schnell genug drei Teller von der Theke tragen kann. Unfreundlicher geht's nicht mehr. Zudem ist es das Essen nicht einmal wert. Nicht zu empfehlen. Macht darum einen Bogen, da werdet ihr sogar im McDonald's ein Stockwerk tiefer besser bedient.

Kann die andere Bewertungen nur schwer nachvollziehen. Essen finde ich gut, manchmal schwankt die Qualität zwischen sehr gut und "noch gut". Gehe hier sehr häufig Mittags essen. Bisher weder wilde Magenkrämpfe oder ähnliches gehabt ;) Gemüse ist knackig und frisch, Soßen sind lecker und intensiv (nehme meistensh thai curry) Preislich okay, es ist halt auch in nem Einkaufszentrum und fast direkt am Bahnhof, dafür sind um die 10€ für ne Mahlzeit aber meiner Meinung nach voll okay. Der Döner daneben kostet auch 7€, der Dönerteller ca. 13€. Das Personal spricht leider schlecht Deutsch, deshalb muss man manchmal etwas zweimal sagen, aber bisher hab ich immer bekommen was ich wollte. Könnte sein, dass der ein oder andere damit überfordert ist und deshalb lieber eine miserable Bewertung schreibt :) aber deshalb setze ich 4 sterne beim service. Ausreichend Sitzplätze, sauberes Geschirr, schnelle Bedienung. Ambiente - naja es ist ein offenes Schnellrestaurant in einem Einkaufszentrum. Aber ich finds dafür nett. Ich mein, es ist kein imposanter Tempel. Aber durch die Lage leicht abseits vom Stress ist es eigentlich ganz ruhig.

Größter Saftladen in den Arcaden Wollte mittags nur eine Kleinigkeit essen und hab mir so eine Box bestellt Nachdem ich gesagt habe was ich möchte wurde ich unhöflich angepampft welche Nummer das sei Kennt ihr euer Sortiment nicht? Es wird natürlich auf ihrer Sprache schlecht über den Kunden geredet wenn man etwas nicht versteht und nochmal nachfrägt Dumm nur wenn man versteht was sie sagen…… Außerdem darf man sich nicht in die Mitte zu den anderen Tischen setzten und essen weil man habe ja nur eine Box zum „mitnehmen“ bestellt und wird unhöflich von der unkompetenten Mitarbeiterin weggeschickt Am liebsten hätte ich meine box für 9€ zurückgegeben und mein Geld wiedererlangt

Typisches Kaufhaus Asia Essen. Ich bestellte Nasi Goreng, da ist normalerweise Rind, Huhn und Fisch bzw. Meeresfrüchte enthalten. In meinem war "Lyoner" Wurst... Keine Ahnung zumindest würde ich es so bezeichnen. Essen 2 von 5 Sternen. Das geht besser. Das Personal wirkt nicht so als wären sie glücklich hier zu arbeiten, geschweige denn als wären sie froh generell in Europa/Deutschland zu arbeiten... In Anbetracht der genannten Tatsachen lässt sich mir das fast nur so erklären, dass das Personal absolut abgestumpft ist. Bei soviel Kundschaft in einer "Mall" vll sogar verständlich. Schade dennoch.

Das Essen ist absolut in Ordnung. Das Personal hingegen total unfreundlich - Bestellungen werden sehr lustlos abgefrühstückt, auf Fragen wird nur mit leeren Blicken geantwortet & das Personal ist nur in der Küche und redet (Ergo: man wartet sehr lang bis man dran kommt)

Nur die Fleisch hat schon gutgeschmeckt aber die Nudel waren nicht so lecker. Die Getränke schmeckt für mich nicht nach frisch. Und sie hörten nicht genau zu

Ich habe A1 gegessen. War sehr lecker und bin satt gewesen. Personal war professionell. Essen war schnell fertig und wurde frisch zubereitet.

Leider vergessen die Bewertungen vorher anzuschauen, da hatten wir uns das Geld gespart. Die vegetarisches Frühlingsrollen waren geschmacklich nicht unseres, vor allem die Soße dazu. Das vegetarische Curry war angenehm scharf, das Gemüse knackig. Leider war der Tofu lasch und hätte noch langer gebraten werden müssen. Das Nasi Goreng war mittelmäßig. Nochmals würden wir dort nicht mehr essen.

Seit Jahren komme ich immer wieder gerne ins Haiky in den Arcaden wenn ich nach Regensburg komme. Insgesamt war ich inzwischen schon ziemlich oft dort. Gestern hatte ich Ente knusprig mit Gemüse, Reis und Thai-Curry - sehr lecker! Das Gemüse war (wie in besseren Restaurants in Asien üblich) knackig und nicht etwa durchgekocht - gut so. Bisher hat es mir in diesem Haiky immer sehr gut geschmeckt, und die Angestellten die ich bisher dort angetroffen habe waren immer freundlich. Auch wurde mir noch nie mehr in Rechnung gestellt als auf der Tafel für die jeweiligen Speisen und Getränke angeschrieben stand, ich habe auch immer gekriegt was ich bestellt habe und nichts was ich nicht bestellt hatte. Hier so viele abgrundtief schlechte Bewertungen zu lesen erscheint mir daher extrem unwahrscheinlich. Da drängt sich bei mir ganz stark die Vermutung auf, dass massiv Stimmung gegen das Lokal oder seine Mitarbeiter gemacht werden soll. Sollte ich mit dieser Vermutung falsch liegen: Leute, das Haiky ist ein Imbiss! Besteck gibt's an der Theke, direkt neben der Kasse, Messer und Gabel in Serviette eingewickelt - warum nehmt ihr es nicht einfach mit wenn ihr das Essen im Empfang nehmt??? Bedienung am Tisch gibt's hier per Definition nicht. Nach den erneuten Preissteigerungen finde ich die Preise zwar nicht mehr so richtig günstig, jedoch immer noch keineswegs überteuert.

Hallo, kenne die Kette bereits aus München und das Essen schmeckt gut. Nicht das beste aber Preis- Leistung absolut zufriedenstellend. Problem ist aber das Personal. Es ist wirklich unfreundlich und verhält sich so, als ob es keine Lust hätte auf Gäste oder gar zu arbeiten, daher nur 3 Sterne, da es beim to-Go essen doch mehr ums essen geht, sonst wären es wohl weniger geworden.

Preis in Ordnung, ich wüsste nicht, wo ich gebratene Ente mit Nudeln und Gemüse für 5 eur bekomm, aber, naja. Hab die Frühlingsrollen gegessen, die sind essbar, dafür ist die optionale süß-sauer Soße mehr als eklig. Schade, der Preis würde passen.

Empfehle die schnelle mit essen to go. Lecker zwischendurch oder in der Mittagspause. Ist auch viel Platz zum sitzen. Guten Appetit.
