A monument to the chef. 🫶 A fantastic setting and view outside, and cozy and refined inside.

The service was extremely unfriendly. I didn't feel welcome at all.

We celebrated our wedding at the Hafenwirt and can recommend the venue to everyone. The setting is stunningly beautiful, the food was excellent, and the entire preparation and coordination process was very straightforward from the very beginning. Through our interaction with Lea, we always felt in the best of hands. We would like to thank Lea and the entire Hafenwirt team again for our wonderful celebration.

Everything was perfect on a day when it wasn't overcrowded. Beautiful harbor location, delicious food at fair prices. What more could you want when the weather is great, too. The only annoying thing is the wasps in the open-air restaurant area, especially when the food arrives.

A truly outstanding hotel! We spent one night here and felt very comfortable. The hotel is located directly on Lake Chiemsee and has excellent cuisine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful, quiet location right between the harbor and the lido. Local beer and herring were beautifully presented, possibly even fresh from the lake. Roast pork with side dishes was generous and served quickly. Long live the convection oven. The fish soup was tasty, but it would have been nicer if the mussels had been served with their shells, which would at least give the subjective impression that they weren't poured in from a can. Good, quick service. The general price trend in the restaurant industry hasn't been ignored here either.

Super friendly and attentive service. I can't say much about the food, as we only had a small, simple meal. Lots of mosquitoes outside, due to the location and paid parking. All in all, very nice.

The terrace was next to the building's construction site, with its extensive scaffolding (unintelligible during peak season)! The food wasn't great, lacking in taste and presentation! The service was a bit overwhelmed! All in all, not worth the trip 🙁

A truly outstanding restaurant with very dedicated staff and incredibly delicious food (the Hafenwirt schnitzel and the Zwiebelrostbraten are simply unbeatable). The ambiance is lovingly decorated, and we always feel very comfortable and welcomed, yet all the staff are very discreet. In summer, you can sit in the beer garden or on the terrace and enjoy the view of the harbor and Lake Chiemsee. We gave birth to our baby in February and will therefore wait a while before our next visit to Lake Chiemsee and the Hafenwirt... But then we'll definitely be happy to come back to the Hafenwirt 🫶

It was my first visit here, but everything was perfect. For me, it's the food that counts, and if the chef reads this, I'll send the chefs a heartfelt thank you and a "well done." My roast beef with onions was very good, and my fellow diners also enjoyed it. The mosquitoes and biting flies are certainly annoying, but that's right by the lake, and you can dress appropriately so the creatures have almost no target at all. So, all in all, a very good decision to stay here. It's also very child-friendly, by the way.

We had our reception here. Surrounding of the restaurant is beautiful, and it’s possible to have wedding ceremony at nearby lake. Food was very good and there was multiple wedding packages to choose from. We always received best service from the staff. Big thanks to Lea who helped us with everything.

We came to this restaurant for Sunday lunch for my 90th birthday. The staff was very friendly, and the location is great. Unfortunately, our expectations, based on the consistently positive reviews and the higher prices, were not met. The dishes were poor value for money. The dishes were tasty, but too expensive for what they were. The whitefish fillet and the accompanying treble hooks were lukewarm and small, the fried squid were far too hard (but they did offer a coffee), and the sweet potato curry didn't come with rice.

Finally, a truly delicious Swiss sausage salad: finely seasoned sausage and good, aromatic vinegar! The meatballs with potato salad also received high praise!

The food and waiters were really great, but the website should point out the current construction work taking place on the building, which completely spoils the ambiance with its view of the harbor.

The food is always fantastic. The price is higher than at other restaurants, but that's okay considering the beautiful location. Friendly and quick service, and a lovely atmosphere.

On the wedding day itself, it was so wonderful to be able to just get into the celebration because you had everything under control, in every area. The food was excellent, and we immediately fell in love with the service team. Every one of our guests felt incredibly comfortable with you, and we will remember this day for a long time. You definitely deserve more than 5 stars, but we can't give more than that. Keep up the great team, and we're already looking forward to all our future visits with you ♡

We stopped here for coffee. The ambiance is rather upscale, chic, and a bit cold and stiff. The service lacked a bit of Bavarian friendliness for our taste. The coffee and cake (Black Forest gateau and strawberry cake) were excellent.

Stopped by for dinner today while passing through. I had probably one of the best schnitzels (with fries) I've ever eaten! My wife had the cheese dumplings and was also absolutely thrilled. Since we're planning on staying there soon, we're really looking forward to the food.

My husband and I were there last Tuesday. The service and food were excellent. We felt very welcome and comfortable.

Construction is currently underway here. A construction crane has been set up, and the tables are on the lawn. For this price, I would have preferred a more pleasant atmosphere.

Based on the positive reviews, we chose the Hafenwirt restaurant. Unfortunately, our satisfaction with the main course was limited: The quality of the roast beef was very good, but the fried potatoes were mushy. The fish was okay, but the portion was very small. The accompanying vegetables were overcooked and left much to be desired in terms of flavor.

The schnitzel and salad with trout fillets were excellent. The service was excellent. Due to the small construction site, only 4 stars for ambiance, but that's only temporary.

As a master pastry chef at Dorfbäckerei & Konditorei Wenig, I regularly deliver wedding cakes to the Hafenwirt in Seebruck – and it's a joy every time! No matter which employee I hand the cake to, everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. You're greeted with a smile and leave with a truly good feeling – that's definitely not to be taken for granted! I've even been there for dinner privately – and what can I say: The food was simply delicious, the service attentive and courteous. The location is superb on Lake Chiemsee with several piers and sailboats, and the hall is perfect for a celebration. The team was very helpful and easy to reach both on the day of the wedding and in the months leading up to it. They also immediately took over cutting and distributing the wedding cake and set up the outdoor ceremony and the hall according to our wishes. The food was incredibly delicious, and the Hafenwirt team was extremely flexible in adapting the menu to all of our allergies and vegan guests and labeling it accordingly. The hotel room is large enough for getting ready. Absolutely no hidden costs; everything was transparent from the start! Good to know: The outdoor ceremony will take place on the public lawn, where there may be swimmers, especially in warm weather. A professional photographer is recommended, who can remove them afterward.

Actually, it's a very nice hotel, with professional and polite service. But why should they make so much noise at 5:00 a.m. during drinks deliveries?

We chose the Hafenwirt for our wedding reception on May 23, 2025. The venues offered met our expectations exactly, and the food was first-class. We would like to thank all the staff involved, who always gave their best to make our wedding reception as beautiful and smooth as possible. A special thank you goes to Lea Stöckl. She took over the entire coordination of our celebration. From the very beginning, she was always available to us as a very friendly and extremely patient contact person. A restaurant with some very nice and very new rooms on the upper floor. I stayed there one night for business and felt very comfortable and welcome. The service was very friendly, the food (classic - roast pork with dumplings and coleslaw was excellent), the room was well-equipped and very clean! Upon request, I even received a clean invoice for the company billing in no time. Unfortunately, this is often a (minor) problem in other hotels... Conclusion: I will come back if the opportunity arises.

We recently celebrated our wedding with around 70 people at the Hafenwirt. We highly recommend this venue in a dream location. From the very beginning, you receive excellent advice and support from the lovely Lea. The food on the wedding day was very, very good. The service was excellent, very friendly, and accommodating! Both we and our guests felt very well looked after. We also reserved the rooms, which I highly recommend. They are very beautiful and of high quality, and the price is unbeatable in such a prime location!

Great location; the building is currently being re-roofed. Nice, stylish ambiance, and friendly service. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress us. The portions were large, but the €30 whitefish fillet came in three extremely dry pieces, sitting on a mess of unmarinated sprouts. It also came with pickled vegetables from a jar. The food was served just three minutes after ordering. It's hard to believe it was freshly grilled with such care. We've had excellent whitefish on Lake Chiemsee. This one from the Hafenwirt leaves a lot of room for improvement. The second dish, Kaspressknödel with creamed savoy cabbage, was OK, but didn't really do it for us. It was fortunate for everyone involved that we were really hungry.

Great ice cream and delicious cakes with friendly service

While searching for our wedding venue, we came across the Hafenwirt in Seebruck. The beautiful location at the Seebruck marina and the fantastic view of Lake Chiemsee immediately made us think of our wedding celebration in a dreamlike, idyllic setting. At our first on-site meeting with the event planner, we were certain we'd found what we were looking for. All coordination, organizational details, implementation of ideas, and everything else went absolutely smoothly and without any complications. During the preparations, the event planner Lea contacted us that construction work on the roof was being delayed and the outdoor terrace would not be usable. But the Hafenwirt outdid itself here: because none of its wedding guests wanted to be stuck with this lack, they provided an event tent with a solid floor and decorations on the neighboring meadow as a replacement. When we were there for the table decoration rehearsal, we also inspected the tent and were absolutely thrilled. Even the concerns and fears of a normal couple shortly before their wedding were addressed with professionalism and friendliness, never creating a panicky "I hope everything works out." On the wedding day itself, the entire Hafenwirt team was fantastic. All of our guests never lacked for anything, the dinner was exquisite, and the service was always friendly. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you again, especially Lea and everyone else on the Hafenwirt team, for helping us realize our dream wedding just as we envisioned. Best regards

A truly beautiful restaurant. You walk in and are greeted warmly. We reserved a table for Valentine's Day. The service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We ordered a starter salad and the truffle cream. They immediately asked us if we wanted to share, and the food was prepared accordingly. The dishes we chose were relatively simple, but with great attention to detail. The flavors were simply presented superbly. The value for money is also understandable. If you visit during the day, Lake Chiemsee would be a real eye-catcher.

We were amazed that the harbor landlord had recently invested in a beautiful tent for his guests. Sun and rain protection with a view of Bavaria's largest sea! It couldn't be nicer! I have never been so ignored in my entire life. We were hungry and wanted to eat here on a beautiful Saturday based on the menu. Around 80% of the tables outside were occupied. We asked a waiter if this table (#76) was free, which was answered in the affirmative. What happened next can't really be put into words. Despite multiple direct eye contact from two different waiters, we sat at the table for exactly 20 minutes without even being asked if we wanted drinks or being brought a menu. Guests were served and collected all around. When no one noticed us after 20 minutes, we left the restaurant. Which, of course, no one noticed. Lowest possible service quality.

Were in transit and didn't have many options around 2pm on Sunday. But we really liked the harbor landlord. Colorful menu - there was something for everyone. Portion size is appropriate. Food was very tasty. One star deducted for the somewhat high prices.

The entire organization was perfect - we were able to coordinate well with the team and all of our wishes were fulfilled in a wonderful way. The location right on the lake is of course an absolute dream and has perfected the atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our special day. Our family has celebrated many celebrations on a very large and also smaller scale at the Hafenwirt. Now we wanted to have a cozy and good meal there for our father's 95th birthday. They didn't want to agree to our table request. There could be something better coming!? - was the reason!! We were also denied our request to get a bouquet of flowers. This had always been done wonderfully so far - and in Rosi's time. And “our iris” is also undoubtedly missing. She always assigned us our table, lovingly decorated it and warmly welcomed and looked after us. Our cancellation was acknowledged emotionlessly: “no problem”. Our time with the harbor landlord is now over.

Yes, for eating, but no longer for staying in a hotel... For food/restaurant: The staff, be it at reception or in the breakfast room, were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was very tasty, it had everything and more than you needed. The location is great, right on the lake, there is enough parking space. The room was brand new and very clean. I can recommend a visit to the restaurant, the food and drinks were also appealing and very tasty. For overnight accommodation/hotel: When we got into the room, we were hit by a wall of heat that was almost unbearable. I immediately looked for the thermostat for the underfloor heating but couldn't find one. We could only regulate the temperature by opening all the windows. I don't know who controls the temperature and how he controls it! And then the next problem came: The location of the room is at the back of the hotel, above the kitchen and the delivery or back entrance and there were several refrigerated trailers where the compressors ran loudly all night long. It was impossible to sleep with the window open! You book a hotel in a quiet location with fresh air on a lake and have to close the window at night because you can't sleep because of the noise from the compressors. But even with the windows closed you could feel the imbalance of a compressor through a slight hum/vibration. Unfortunately you can't upload videos here, otherwise I would like to share the background noise.

Many thanks to dear Lea, who accompanied and supported us so well. 😊 We had a 3 course buffet. The food was really tasty. All of our guests absolutely loved the food. (Only positive feedback) 😊 The service was absolutely top. Here too, only positive feedback. We and a few of our guests also stayed there. Great rooms, very nicely designed and absolutely recommended. The next morning there was a really delicious breakfast. We felt so well looked after from start to finish and would like to say thank you again. 😊

We were there on our vacation. We really liked and enjoyed it. The quality of the food was very good. Only the Kaiserschmarren was limp. In my opinion it went too quickly for a fresh one. If we come to Chiemsee again we want to come back.

Great atmosphere in winter. Public toilets were open and clean even in winter.

Wir können dieses Restaurant nur positiv beurteilen. Schon wenn man reinkommt, strömt einem eine angenehme Atmosphäre entgegen. Unser Tisch war vorbestellt, toll eingedeckt. Auch das Personal sehr freundlich, hier besonders Sebastian. Unser Essen bestand aus einem Weihnachtsmenue, Ente, Hafenschschnitzel, Kürbissuppe, Rindersonsommee, Salat mit Ziegenkäse. Alle Essen war nicht nur von der Optik, sondern auch sehr heiß. Nach Jahren sind wir wieder hier gewesen. Es war sehr schön, angenehm und man geht mit dem Gefühl, wir kommen gerne wieder.

I was there for yoga lunch. The yoga room has a nice atmosphere. But after yoga with 20 people talking loudly in a room... the noise level was unbearable for me. The food was very good, just too much for me. The staff super friendly. The decor is nice. Because of the 3 course menu on offer, you couldn't easily avoid it. Unless you skipped the food. Too bad. I only give it 3 stars for the ambience and because of the noise with 20 people in one room that day. I can definitely recommend the Hafenwirt for meals for families or as a couple.

I was there with my grandparents a long time ago. I remembered this today and it's better than ever. Super delicious food, excellent service and a very inviting atmosphere. What else can I say! We'll be back soon.

While looking for a wedding location, we came across the Hafenwirt. After the first viewing and the first conversation with Lea, it was clear to us that we would get married at the Hafenwirt. Lea's friendly nature, the possibility of a free wedding ceremony, the good food (which we already knew), the professional team and the unbeatably beautiful location convinced us! We had repeated contact with Lea in advance; she responded very competently and openly to us and our wishes/ideas. We booked all the hotel rooms in the house in advance in order to accommodate some of our guests there, and that also worked easily and flawlessly. Then the time had finally come, our wedding was on October 12th, 2024. All of our wishes and ideas were implemented perfectly and even exceeded. For example, non-alcoholic drinks, vegetarian/vegan dishes and individual menu cards could be provided. The guests still rave about the good food, the free wedding ceremony by the lake, the friendly service and the beautiful panoramic hall on the 1st floor. We are so grateful that we were able to celebrate our day at the Hafenwirt with all of our guests. We would recommend the Hafenwirt to anyone who values ​​a beautiful wedding location, high-quality food, cost transparency (no hidden costs, you pay per person), friendly service, professionalism, modern style and still charm.
