I have been visiting this restaurant regularly for over 20 years and am always amazed at the high quality of the service and food. In my opinion, this is consistently at a high level.

I have never been so ignored in my entire life. We were hungry and wanted to eat here on a beautiful Saturday based on the menu. Around 80% of the tables outside were occupied. We asked a waiter if this table (#76) was free, which was answered in the affirmative. What happened next can't really be put into words. Despite multiple direct eye contact from two different waiters, we sat at the table for exactly 20 minutes without even being asked if we wanted drinks or being brought a menu. Guests were served and collected all around. When no one noticed us after 20 minutes, we left the restaurant. Which, of course, no one noticed. Lowest possible service quality.

Were in transit and didn't have many options around 2pm on Sunday. But we really liked the harbor landlord. Colorful menu - there was something for everyone. Portion size is appropriate. Food was very tasty. One star deducted for the somewhat high prices.

One of the best locals in town. The prices are a bit high. But you are more than compensated by very good and plentiful food with a view of the harbor and the lake. The waiter was very friendly. We felt very comfortable all around.

We celebrated our wedding yesterday at the Hafenwirt in Seebruck and are absolutely thrilled! The entire organization was perfect - we were able to coordinate well with the team and all of our wishes were fulfilled in a wonderful way. A big compliment to the kitchen and the service team: The food was not only incredibly tasty, but was also served quickly and delivered to all guests at the same time - simply great! The location right on the lake is of course an absolute dream and has perfected the atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our special day. Our family has celebrated many celebrations on a very large and also smaller scale at the Hafenwirt. Now we wanted to have a cozy and good meal there for our father's 95th birthday. They didn't want to agree to our table request. There could be something better coming!? - was the reason!! We were also denied our request to get a bouquet of flowers. This had always been done wonderfully so far - and in Rosi's time. And “our iris” is also undoubtedly missing. She always assigned us our table, lovingly decorated it and warmly welcomed and looked after us. Our cancellation was acknowledged emotionlessly: “no problem”. Our time with the harbor landlord is now over.

Yes, for eating, but no longer for staying in a hotel... For food/restaurant: The staff, be it at reception or in the breakfast room, were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was very tasty, it had everything and more than you needed. The location is great, right on the lake, there is enough parking space. The room was brand new and very clean. I can recommend a visit to the restaurant, the food and drinks were also appealing and very tasty. For overnight accommodation/hotel: When we got into the room, we were hit by a wall of heat that was almost unbearable. I immediately looked for the thermostat for the underfloor heating but couldn't find one. We could only regulate the temperature by opening all the windows. I don't know who controls the temperature and how he controls it! And then the next problem came: The location of the room is at the back of the hotel, above the kitchen and the delivery or back entrance and there were several refrigerated trailers where the compressors ran loudly all night long. It was impossible to sleep with the window open! You book a hotel in a quiet location with fresh air on a lake and have to close the window at night because you can't sleep because of the noise from the compressors. But even with the windows closed you could feel the imbalance of a compressor through a slight hum/vibration. Unfortunately you can't upload videos here, otherwise I would like to share the background noise.

Two weeks ago we celebrated our wedding at the Hafenwirt. We and our guests were absolutely thrilled. The planning and support leading up to our special day was absolutely positive. Many thanks to dear Lea, who accompanied and supported us so well. 😊 We had a 3 course buffet. The food was really tasty. All of our guests absolutely loved the food. (Only positive feedback) 😊 The service was absolutely top. Here too, only positive feedback. We and a few of our guests also stayed there. Great rooms, very nicely designed and absolutely recommended. The next morning there was a really delicious breakfast. We felt so well looked after from start to finish and would like to say thank you again. 😊

We were there on our vacation. We really liked and enjoyed it. The quality of the food was very good. Only the Kaiserschmarren was limp. In my opinion it went too quickly for a fresh one. If we come to Chiemsee again we want to come back.

Wir können dieses Restaurant nur positiv beurteilen. Schon wenn man reinkommt, strömt einem eine angenehme Atmosphäre entgegen. Unser Tisch war vorbestellt, toll eingedeckt. Auch das Personal sehr freundlich, hier besonders Sebastian. Unser Essen bestand aus einem Weihnachtsmenue, Ente, Hafenschschnitzel, Kürbissuppe, Rindersonsommee, Salat mit Ziegenkäse. Alle Essen war nicht nur von der Optik, sondern auch sehr heiß. Nach Jahren sind wir wieder hier gewesen. Es war sehr schön, angenehm und man geht mit dem Gefühl, wir kommen gerne wieder.

I was there for yoga lunch. The yoga room has a nice atmosphere. But after yoga with 20 people talking loudly in a room... the noise level was unbearable for me. The food was very good, just too much for me. The staff super friendly. The decor is nice. Because of the 3 course menu on offer, you couldn't easily avoid it. Unless you skipped the food. Too bad. I only give it 3 stars for the ambience and because of the noise with 20 people in one room that day. I can definitely recommend the Hafenwirt for meals for families or as a couple.

I was there with my grandparents a long time ago. I remembered this today and it's better than ever. Super delicious food, excellent service and a very inviting atmosphere. What else can I say! We'll be back soon.

While looking for a wedding location, we came across the Hafenwirt. After the first viewing and the first conversation with Lea, it was clear to us that we would get married at the Hafenwirt. Lea's friendly nature, the possibility of a free wedding ceremony, the good food (which we already knew), the professional team and the unbeatably beautiful location convinced us! We had repeated contact with Lea in advance; she responded very competently and openly to us and our wishes/ideas. We booked all the hotel rooms in the house in advance in order to accommodate some of our guests there, and that also worked easily and flawlessly. Then the time had finally come, our wedding was on October 12th, 2024. All of our wishes and ideas were implemented perfectly and even exceeded. For example, non-alcoholic drinks, vegetarian/vegan dishes and individual menu cards could be provided. The guests still rave about the good food, the free wedding ceremony by the lake, the friendly service and the beautiful panoramic hall on the 1st floor. We are so grateful that we were able to celebrate our day at the Hafenwirt with all of our guests. We would recommend the Hafenwirt to anyone who values ​​a beautiful wedding location, high-quality food, cost transparency (no hidden costs, you pay per person), friendly service, professionalism, modern style and still charm.

Der Hafenwirt ist ein Restaurant, das ich nun seit fast 40 Jahren mit wechselnden Begleitungen immer wieder gerne besuche. Es sollte ein Highlight einer Reise werden, aber es war einfach nur erbärmlich, was an jenem Tag geboten wurde: die an sich interessante Suppe war völlig versalzen, anscheinend hat dann für die übrigen Speisen genau dieses Salz gefehlt. Eine Vorspeise sollte ein Thunfisch-Paté sein.... für Euro 7.50 kann ich mir eine Dose Thunfisch auch zuhause aufmachen: Unter Paté versteht man dann doch etwas anderes! Der Saibling war zwar frisch, aber mit Sicherheit nicht frisch zubereitet, denn die ansonsten knusprige Haut war einfach nur labbrig und der Fisch auch relativ geschmacksneutral. Bei so guten Kartoffeln ist es ferner absolut nicht erforderlich, eine scharfe Soße hinzuzufügen. Ich hatte dieses Gericht schön öfter, war jedoch nie so enttäuscht wie dieses Mal. Das zweite Hauptgericht war nicht viel besser: das Fischfilet war in Ordnung, aber das Gemüse bestand so gut wie nur aus geschmacksneutralem Kürbis. Liebes Hafenwirt-Team: das könnt Ihr doch wesentlich besser. Steht Qualität nicht mehr an erster Stelle? Die absolut gesalzenen Preise rechtfertigen in keinem Fall so eine schwache Qualität. Einziger Lichtblick: ein absolut freundlicher und professioneller Kellner!

Wir gehen sehr gerne zum Hafenwirt und fühlen uns dort sehr wohl. Das Essen ist sehr gut, die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und der Service sehr gut. Immer wieder gerne.

Der Hafenwirt war einmal ein Spitzen-Restaurant als es noch vom Gründer geführt wurde. Dieses und andere Restaurants wurden vor einiger Zeit vom selben Käufer aufgekauft, seitdem ist nicht mehr das, was es einmal gewesen war. Die Innenausstattung ist zwar weiterhin sehr ansprechend. Aber die Speisen sind nicht mehr das.! Wir haben vergangenen Sonntag zu Mittag gegessen, Saibling, Gemüse usw. Das Essen war ordentlich , aber in keiner Weise hat es mich begeistert. Ich esse woanders bedeutend geschmackvoller.

Clean inn with good food and a wonderful terrace. Unfortunately, almost all seats in the beer garden are reserved in summer. Only with luck can you get a table as a spontaneous visitor. The prices are rather high, the portions are good.

Luckily there is the Hafenwirt, because during our visit to the town we discovered that the hotel at the harbor no longer turns away non-hotel guests as it used to. But since we remembered the harbor landlord well, we stopped there and weren't disappointed. We were seated and served quickly and friendly, the food was good and tasty. We will stop there again on our next visit to Seebruck.

If I could, I would give it 6 stars too. We discovered the Hafenwirt by chance when we were looking for a suitable wedding location. With the first impression we were immediately convinced that this could be the perfect location for us. After we had dinner here, we were impressed not only by the food/restaurant (a modern interpretation of Bavarian cuisine), but also by the first-class service. We had a wonderful wedding here and our guests also raved about the delicious food and the attentive staff. We couldn't have imagined it better - many thanks to the entire Hafenwirt team for giving us a unique day! A special thank you also to Lea, who was a huge support in advance planning and organization. We can definitely recommend the Hafenwirt not only as a restaurant, but also as an event location.

You can really recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience. The food and desserts were very good, you don't have to wait long and you are really a valued guest. As a bonus, we had a more than nice and lovely waitress who didn't miss her job. The young woman should keep her friendly nature. The terrace with a view of the Chiemsee harbor is also good. We'd love to come back!

So delicious 😋! The food is absolutely delicious. A specially ordered bouquet of flowers was also on the birthday table. The service was attentive for quite a while. BUT at the end I still had reason to be angry. I wanted to pay because the children would then go home. But suddenly the operation was no longer visible and for a longer period of time. When she showed up, her attention was only on a neighboring table. No one looked in our direction so we could let them know that we wanted to pay. This went on several times until I had enough and went to the counter to let me know. Sorry, that's not possible and no layperson would say that. I have training as a waitress. It's a real shame because otherwise it would have been a great evening. I celebrated my birthday here again with the family in 2023. As expected, the food was good and the service staff was attentive and friendly. I simply like the Kaiserschmarrn best here 👍 Then until August 2024 Every year again... I also celebrated my 2024 birthday at the Hafenwirt and it was great as always. Food delicious and service great. See you next year 😁!

We celebrated our free wedding followed by a wedding reception at the Hafenwirt and are completely satisfied. The conversations beforehand were always friendly and uncomplicated, and Lea looked after us very well the whole time. Even on the “big day” everything went smoothly, the Hafenwirt team took care of everything very well, the service was super friendly, courteous and relaxed and the food, as usual, was delicious and plentiful. We are very happy to have chosen the Hafenwirt as our wedding location, not only the great location right on the lake and the beautiful rooms are crucial here, but also the all-round great support from the whole team!

Very nice restaurant located directly on Lake Chiemsee on a peninsula with a marina. Great this place. Gold is the right way to relax. The food was great and delicious with the funny service robots that drive around with food and drinks. A successful experience.

Very good location, right on the harbor (not on the water), no cars, decent portions. Two adults and two children paid €53 for one drink each. The food is definitely good in terms of price/performance, but apparently the drinks are a little more expensive. There was also a lot for children. For my personal taste everything is very hearty, a little too seasoned. There are robots that bring drinks and food and take dishes away. The robots bring the items to the waiter and the waiter then serves.

Top restaurant, fair prices, nice atmosphere. The restaurant is really recommended, you can sit inside and outside, there is an extensive menu and a wonderful view of Lake Chiemsee. The service is friendly (only the robo-waiter didn't want to talk to us). The prices are absolutely fine. There is also a children's menu - and the kitchen is flexible with special requests from the little ones.

Whitefish fillet, maybe 100 grams for 30 euros, on vegetables, very modest. All in all...the quality and price don't meet your own expectations, it's a shame.

Spontaneous trip to and on Lake Chiemsee. Our first visit to the Hafenwirt based on a personal recommendation! Clean, friendly staff including an electric waiter on wheels (who doesn't bother you at all), fine selection of dishes, nicely sorted drinks menu, the onion roast with two kinds of onions (braised balsam onion and roasted onion) is heavenly, the sauce is perfect with fried potatoes and stewed tomatoes. Raspberry cake as a dessert is simply fantastic! The quality of the food and drinks, as well as the service and ambience absolutely justify the prices! Again any time.......

Stopped briefly to refresh ourselves after a short motorcycle tour. I couldn't avoid the poppy seed strudel and what can I say: "It was very tasty 😋." Our waitress was incredibly friendly and polite. We talked about their little helpers. Sweet robots that make everyday life easier for the waitresses. Lunch also looked delicious but we'll try that another time.

Probably the worst Kaiserschmarrn I've ever eaten. 5 minutes after ordering the food was already on the table. Real Kaiserschmarrn usually takes 20 minutes or more. The Kaiserschmarrn was firm, like a pancake. Additionally, it was soaked in sugar water instead of being caramelized like it says on the menu.

At the first appointment we already noticed that they were seriously interested in making our wedding a wonderful experience. Wir waren diese Woche zum erste Mal beim Hafenwirt. Sowohl wir, als auch unsere Hunde wurden freundlich empfangen. Was mir jedoch ein wenig abging war die hier so typische bayrische Herzlichkeit. Es war alles etwas gewollt vornehm und dadurch etwas kühler als man das hier in der Gegend von der Mentalität gewohnt ist. Trotzdem war jeder zu uns sehr freundlich. Die Vorspeisensuppe war ein Gedicht und die Getränke kühl und lecker. Die Hauptspeisen, die wir uns ausgesucht haben waren vom Grundsatz her auch sehr lecker, für unseren Geschmack jedoch etwas zu stark gesalzen, was etwas störend war, das Gericht aber nicht ungenießbar gemacht hat, sonst hätte ich das vor Ort reklamiert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
