Stumbled in by chance and hungry and at least I am very enthusiastic about my roast pork with dark beer sauce and excellent potato dumplings. The service was also very accommodating, pleasant and nice, a thoroughly successful visit and by the way it was quick too

Delicious mushroom broth, with bread dumplings, in the ambience of a beautiful beer garden in the heart of the old town of Regensburg. The service was quick and friendly, although with limited sympathy for the regional language. Being able to only order in standard German in a Bavarian restaurant has something rather strange about it.

In the evening we were there again, completely different, food wasn't great, service unpleasant, no comparison to the experience at lunchtime, completely strange

Nice Bavarian restaurant. Tastes very good. Sufficient portion sizes. Friendly and competent staff. Secluded quiet beer garden. The furnishings in the building are classic, with beautiful stucco. Toilets are clean and tidy.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Das Essen sehr gut, super frisch und auch auf Sonderwünsche wurde eingegangen. Auch die Unterstützung unseres Kindes und der Umgang mit ihm war Mega. Dazu hatten wir die Freude mitzubekommen, wie ein neuer , junger Kollege an den Beruf herangeführt wurde und die Unterstützung des ganzen Teams hat.

Quaint Bavarian restaurant with a monastery atmosphere. Very good value for money

My partner had the Hacker Pschorr Schnitzel, I had the knuckle. By the way, it's half a knuckle. This is not noted on the map. The (half) knuckle was really very small, perhaps the smallest I've had so far. I had previously asked how big the knuckle was. There was also a potato dumpling, coleslaw (very tasty) and gravy. The knuckle was also very dry. The schnitzel, actually the two schnitzels, was okay, the fried potatoes were fried very dark, without bacon, with gravy. Overall everything was very salty. We weren't satisfied. The light beer was good as expected. The waitress simply ignored us.

If you want to enjoy Bavarian cuisine in Regensburg, this is the right place! Nicely located in a courtyard away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Sat around the lunch time, not too crowded but with quite some customers, visited the place for lunch. Foods were good, had beef ribs, soup and sausages, very German. Sausages were resenburg sausages, similar looking like nurnberg sausage but less fat with good harb flavor. The problem is it took 1hr for the food. That is way too long, if the rib would take that long, it it was told at the time of order, would not have ordered. Therefore unfortunately 2 star.

My wife and I stopped there on the way through Regensburg and were very hungry. What a good decision. I chose the onion roast, my wife the char. What can I say, both were so good that we went back to eat there the next day and were not disappointed again. Many thanks to the great staff who fit perfectly into the inn. Please keep it up. Known to old Regensburgers as "Augustiner", which has been serving the good Munich hacker beer for a long time now, this pub with the beer garden, somewhat hidden, is a small oasis in the city in summer. The inside is also really nice with the pubs. So it's always worth a visit.

Maaaaa, I ate such a delicious fried char with potatoes and broccoli with almond slivers. We ate the same thing on both days we spent in Regensburg. That was really something for the soul. And the staff makes you feel at home right from the start. I have to point out, and even if it doesn't belong here per se, the people of Regensburg are definitely nice people. I can't tell you how many times we were asked if we could be helped while we were standing there with our cell phones in our hands, searching. I don't know that at all from Vienna, our hometown. And it is exactly this warmth that prevails in this restaurant. Go in, you won't regret it. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for these two lovely evenings.

A very nice inn on Neupfarplatz! Had dinner there for Valentine's Day. It was very tasty. The service was on point and overall the entire staff was very nice. The food was served quickly, will definitely come back.

We visited this place expecting an inn. When we came through the curtain at the entrance, we stood in the middle of a baroque room and people were looking at us. After we were kindly assigned seats, we were given two delicious soups (liver dumplings) and two hop cold drinks. All in all, it was just the first (cultural) “shock”.

Looking for a beer, a pretzel, a sausage salad or something similar, we ended up at Hacker-Pschorr and, sorry, can't even give it one star. We sat in the outdoor dining area for over 15 minutes and not a single waiter appeared during that time.

I find it odd to read some of the poor reviews, as I had a great experience when I went. A friend and I found this place randomly, and decided to walk in. We were immediately greeted by a host and sat. We tried numerous beers and enjoyed them all. We didn’t order a meal, but opted for an appetizer instead. Pork and bread were great. Our server was very good and attentive.

Perhaps call for reservations in advance. We went in without reservation, the staff helped us figure a table. In terms of the food options, it’s very classic Bavarian style. Food are delicious, the vibe and service are amazing as extra points☺️ Highly recommend to whoever might want to spend a special occasion with someone special. The portion is large, so make sure you consider to share it with friends.

A very nice (historic) well-kept inn with a Bavarian ambience. Great food at normal prices. We always like to go there at Christmas because everything is decorated very festively and lavishly. Nice and attentive waitresses. Plus a shandy from a swing-top bottle, what more could you want?

Delicious food, the pork brisket with dumplings was awesome. The beer, of course, too. The service was below average. No laughter, just the most necessary communication and a drink was forgotten. Unfortunately the Christmas decorations are very tasteless. Otherwise, with the stucco, the interior of the restaurant is incredibly beautiful.

Shockingly inedible!!! I had a salad with chicken and fruit. The fruit salad from the bucket and the chicken not cooked through and just warmed up. Schnitzel with potato salad was also at the table - the schnitzel was fried and thawed at least twice (supposedly everything was homemade) and the potato salad also came from a bucket! Everything tastes shockingly bad. A few years ago the food was delicious! The owner has probably changed! The men from service were very friendly! I hope this helps and opens the landlord's eyes.

Not all waiters know the difference between the terms 'vegetarian' and 'vegan'. It's annoying when a vegetarian dish is called a vegan dish, especially when it is correctly stated on the menu.

Bedienung super unfreundlich und respektlos und der Chef meint er ist etwas Besseres und kann einen nicht einmal bedienen. Und am besten kommt noch hinzu, dass man nicht einmal sein Restgeld heraus bekommt, da wird davon ausgegangen, dass man das einfach schenkt! Toiletten sehr unhygienisch.

Respect to the unfriendly "boss" in the Upper Palatinate. Rarely have I experienced something so incompetent or arrogant. Never again!

I did like this restaurant a lot! The food was pretty tasty, I ate pork and loved it. The service from the waiter was pretty good, well you know German beer is the best, even better than the Mexican lol. I and my German friend ate outside, it was pretty nice. If you visit Regensburg, Germany, this restaurant is the best, the food and beer are excellent (better than our Modelo beer from Mexico 🇲🇽), the waiter is super attentive (and handsome), very nice place and atmosphere. Spend between 25 and 30 euros. Enjoy this great place! 🍺

We were there on November 26th. Friendly staff immediately offered us a good table. We had an excellent meal and at reasonable prices. The ambience is typical of a brewery; when we visited it was already lavishly decorated for Christmas.

An excellent beer garden, nice service. I ordered an onion roast medium rare with fried potatoes. The meat was thin but medium. It seems to me that the quality is not that great. The fried potatoes were anything but crispy and crunchy. The fried onions were a ready-made product. They didn't even bother to warm them up. For €32.50 I expect something different. The food was carelessly presented on the plate. Sauce was well seasoned

Disappointing service despite excellent cuisine Our visit to the beer garden was an ambivalent experience. The kitchen was really first class - the food was excellently prepared and we absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, this positive impression was significantly marred by the service. Our waitress seemed to have a strong dislike for people who weren't from her homeland, and she didn't hide it one bit. She reacted extremely irritably and rudely to completely normal questions that one might ask in a restaurant. One had the feeling that she did her job not out of passion, but rather out of reluctance. I have never experienced such a negative attitude towards guests anywhere. We reached the height of impudence at the end of our visit when we were asked directly and bluntly when paying if we would leave a tip. I have never experienced such a bold demand, which lacked any form of hospitality, in any other restaurant. This beer garden could be a real highlight if the service staff were anywhere near as good as the kitchen. Unfortunately, this visit leaves a bitter aftertaste that prevents us from visiting again.

I have already tried several pubs in Regensburg city center and I like it here best. If I can't decide... I'll go to Hacker Pschorr.

Very nice beer garden, quiet and centrally located in the courtyard with a clean atmosphere. The food is absolutely worth recommending and the young, very committed team ensures that guests have a pleasant stay. We had 1x game goulash and 1x mixed salad with chicken breast. Entrance to the farm is handicapped accessible. For us one of the best beer gardens in Regensburg!!!!!

I always enjoyed going to this beer garden. Good food, nice staff but yesterday we weren't even served. It wasn't busy and our waves after 25 minutes were ignored. Shortly after us two people came and they had already had their food. After 30 minutes we left. It's a shame, I was always happy when I was in Rgbg.

Typical restaurant with well-kept rooms and Bavarian cuisine, the dishes are of quality and the service is fast. I particularly liked that the rooms are very spacious, so the tables are all spaced apart and you can enjoy a more peaceful dinner.

Nice little beer garden on Neupfarrplatz in Regensburg. The service is super friendly, works on the ball and you feel like you're in good hands. The taste of the food is okay, but the prices are slightly too expensive for me personally, but this is due to the relatively small portions, for example the sausage salad. For me it's no longer worth a visit, simply because I get more for my money in other beer gardens in Regensburg.

We were guests on Saturday lunchtime. Very nice waiters and the food was excellent! (Roast pork, schnitzel, gaucho salad, Nuremberg with cabbage, cream mushrooms). The shady beer garden in the middle of the city is a dream anyway😊

Service was terribly slow even though only 4 tables were occupied. During the hour we were there we saw 9 people leave because they got tired of waiting to be served. One family left because they were told they could not have the stroller for their baby next to the table!!!! It wouldn’t have disturbed anyone. A lady in a wheelchair was treated in exactly the same way. Our food was mediocre and the mushroom sauce was thickened with lots of flour. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Without reservation, I would not recommend. They refused to seat us because they felt like closing at 9:35pm despite their website hours stating they are open until 11pm. They were rude and unhelpful when I tried to see if we could even be seated after being ignored by them for 5-10 minutes at the entrance. Go somewhere else.

Prices not as shown on the map! I had an unpleasant experience today when I visited the Hacker-Pschorr in Regensburg. I ordered a small roast pork, which according to the menu should have cost a little more than 9 euros. I was then charged over 14 euros just for the roast pork, even though this price was not listed anywhere on the menu. The only "small roast pork" on the menu is apparently only for children or the price is only intended for children. If you order this dish as an adult, you will be charged more, even though the price is nowhere visible on the menu. The waiter didn't point this out to me when I ordered and he didn't say anything about it when I paid, just that it was just the way it was. In terms of taste, I didn't think the roast pork was worth 14 euros and the service wasn't particularly friendly. Only the location is central and therefore relatively good. Ambience is okay. That's why I won't come again.

In the center of Regensburg but with importance to hungry travelers. It is a spacious yard with trees, which accommodated everyone. For winter it has an indoor area according to Bavarian standards. Food tasty and plentiful, beer excellent, prices reasonable.
