An excellent beer garden, nice service. I ordered an onion roast medium rare with fried potatoes. The meat was thin but medium. It seems to me that the quality is not that great. The fried potatoes were anything but crispy and crunchy. The fried onions were a ready-made product. They didn't even bother to warm them up. For €32.50 I expect something different. The food was carelessly presented on the plate. Sauce was well seasoned

Disappointing service despite excellent cuisine Our visit to the beer garden was an ambivalent experience. The kitchen was really first class - the food was excellently prepared and we absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, this positive impression was significantly marred by the service. Our waitress seemed to have a strong dislike for people who weren't from her homeland, and she didn't hide it one bit. She reacted extremely irritably and rudely to completely normal questions that one might ask in a restaurant. One had the feeling that she did her job not out of passion, but rather out of reluctance. I have never experienced such a negative attitude towards guests anywhere. We reached the height of impudence at the end of our visit when we were asked directly and bluntly when paying if we would leave a tip. I have never experienced such a bold demand, which lacked any form of hospitality, in any other restaurant. This beer garden could be a real highlight if the service staff were anywhere near as good as the kitchen. Unfortunately, this visit leaves a bitter aftertaste that prevents us from visiting again.

I have already tried several pubs in Regensburg city center and I like it here best. If I can't decide... I'll go to Hacker Pschorr.

Quite idyllic beer garden that invites you to linger.

Very nice beer garden, quiet and centrally located in the courtyard with a clean atmosphere. The food is absolutely worth recommending and the young, very committed team ensures that guests have a pleasant stay. We had 1x game goulash and 1x mixed salad with chicken breast. Entrance to the farm is handicapped accessible. For us one of the best beer gardens in Regensburg!!!!!

I always enjoyed going to this beer garden. Good food, nice staff but yesterday we weren't even served. It wasn't busy and our waves after 25 minutes were ignored. Shortly after us two people came and they had already had their food. After 30 minutes we left. It's a shame, I was always happy when I was in Rgbg.

Typical restaurant with well-kept rooms and Bavarian cuisine, the dishes are of quality and the service is fast. I particularly liked that the rooms are very spacious, so the tables are all spaced apart and you can enjoy a more peaceful dinner.

Friendly team, some healthy options

Nice little beer garden on Neupfarrplatz in Regensburg. The service is super friendly, works on the ball and you feel like you're in good hands. The taste of the food is okay, but the prices are slightly too expensive for me personally, but this is due to the relatively small portions, for example the sausage salad. For me it's no longer worth a visit, simply because I get more for my money in other beer gardens in Regensburg.

Nice location, only the guest bothers you. You can tell that the employees don't feel like working. Reservations are forgotten and the guest is rudely insulted. Conclusion: you really don't have to have been there.

We were guests on Saturday lunchtime. Very nice waiters and the food was excellent! (Roast pork, schnitzel, gaucho salad, Nuremberg with cabbage, cream mushrooms). The shady beer garden in the middle of the city is a dream anyway😊

Excellent food, great ambience in the beer garden, super nice staff who are really on their toes. Even if a side salad is just a side salad - this was the best I've ever eaten! Super fresh, crunchy salad with a very tasty dressing! It's a shame that we were only here in Regensburg for the weekend - we would definitely come here more often! Absolute recommendation!!!

The waitress thinks she is the king.

Service was terribly slow even though only 4 tables were occupied. During the hour we were there we saw 9 people leave because they got tired of waiting to be served. One family left because they were told they could not have the stroller for their baby next to the table!!!! It wouldn’t have disturbed anyone. A lady in a wheelchair was treated in exactly the same way. Our food was mediocre and the mushroom sauce was thickened with lots of flour. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

After the extremely unfriendly reception and the snappy behavior about the stroller, we immediately turned back. Never experienced such subterranean and unfriendly service. Absolutely embarrassing and luckily there are some other good places to go in Regensburg for a nice afternoon/evening

Without reservation, I would not recommend. They refused to seat us because they felt like closing at 9:35pm despite their website hours stating they are open until 11pm. They were rude and unhelpful when I tried to see if we could even be seated after being ignored by them for 5-10 minutes at the entrance. Go somewhere else.

In the center of Regensburg but with importance to hungry travelers. It is a spacious yard with trees, which accommodated everyone. For winter it has an indoor area according to Bavarian standards. Food tasty and plentiful, beer excellent, prices reasonable.

Prices not as shown on the map! I had an unpleasant experience today when I visited the Hacker-Pschorr in Regensburg. I ordered a small roast pork, which according to the menu should have cost a little more than 9 euros. I was then charged over 14 euros just for the roast pork, even though this price was not listed anywhere on the menu. The only "small roast pork" on the menu is apparently only for children or the price is only intended for children. If you order this dish as an adult, you will be charged more, even though the price is nowhere visible on the menu. The waiter didn't point this out to me when I ordered and he didn't say anything about it when I paid, just that it was just the way it was. In terms of taste, I didn't think the roast pork was worth 14 euros and the service wasn't particularly friendly. Only the location is central and therefore relatively good. Ambience is okay. That's why I won't come again.

While looking for a suitable beer garden, we ended up at the Hacker Psychorr Wirtshaus! We were on a day tour in Regensburg. Beautiful, rustic beer garden, very friendly staff! The dashing waiter with long hair was very friendly! The food is perfect and an option is also found for those with intolerances! So we're happy to give it full marks. We'd love to come back on our next trip to Regensburg!

We recently had dinner in the beer garden. The place is beautiful. The service was also okay. But charging a whopping €32.50 for an onion roast and then delivering such poor food is simply not possible! The steak was about as thick as a schnitzel, the meat was of poor quality, fried potatoes that were far too fatty, tons of fried onions (probably bought ready-made) and a small dollop of salad as a garnish. An absolute disgrace for the horrendous price!!! We can advise against buying this dish for the price!!!

Absolutely rude. The two of us sat at a table without a -reserved- sign. Shortly afterwards a waiter shouted loudly throughout the beer garden that these seats were occupied. We asked if there was any other option, he said no without checking... we felt like we couldn't pay the bill. That was once again embarrassing. It's probably the case that there are more guests than staff. And in this house you probably fall back on everything that comes along. We were then well served and looked after in the brewery at the castle. Always happy to come here and 5*

Stopped off in Regensburg en route elsewhere. Had a few walks around the city before spotting this - very glad we decided to explore it further. Great food, cheap beer and an amazing live band. Will be back next time we're in Germany!

As guests we felt rather unwanted. The first question was: do you have a reservation? No good evening, no nothing. The food was okay, but the friendliness of the service staff left a lot to be desired. No get well or bon appetit. The digestive was placed at the edge of the table and not with the guest. We will not enter this restaurant a second time. It's a shame for Hacker-Pschorr's reputation!

Nice shady beer garden with plenty of space for large groups. Rather quiet in terms of volume. Good, quick service. Location in the middle of the city on Neupfarrplatz. Traditional Bavarian cuisine. Something for everyone. Nice large menu with a lot to choose from. Dishes have a good portion size and are tasteful and tasty. Worth a visit for beer garden lovers.

We came here for a quick lunch and ordered the Reindl twice with roast pork, knuckle and sausage (with dumplings and sauerkraut as side dishes), and there was also a light dish and 2 shandies. The waiter was very professional and friendly and after a short time the drinks and food were at the table. It tasted very good, but we couldn't finish everything, so we took the rest with us. We particularly liked the fact that you didn't hear any of the city noise in the beer garden in the inner courtyard. As soon as you come through the archway into the beer garden, you feel like you are in another world. We liked it and would like to come back again. In the end we paid €54.50, which is absolutely ok.

We waited a total of 15 minutes for service before we ended up leaving without placing an order. Three waiters noticed us, but preferred to chat among themselves and clear tables in front of us. There weren't many customers in the beer garden at the time.

Beautiful shady courtyard with chestnut trees. I was there early, so it was quiet and leisurely. An oasis in the hustle and bustle outside. Good Bavarian cuisine and the beer is nice and cold too. Food excellent, only the sauce was a bit tight for the good portion of noodles 😉 Fast service without being intrusive.

We were there about three weeks ago and were very dissatisfied. A gentleman in leather pants was making fun of his colleagues and just snapping around. But what made me really angry was when my portion came. Everyone had two beautiful smaller knuckles on their plate. On my plate there was a dumpling and a paper knuckle, which was probably the knuckle. You can't entertain your guests so differently. That's why there's a star 🌟.

Bavarian inn. We were there for lunch during the week. The service was good, you never had to wait long for drinks. Dumplings and roast pork were very good. All in all very recommendable.

Nice location but we waited for more than 50 minutes to get our order. Everything was very slow, though restaurant was not busy. Food was so everage that is not worth mentioning. Meat was fat, potatoes overdone and greasy, tagliatelle without taste. Beer was good but really not worth it

A Bavarian restaurant. The food is well prepared, tasty, the beer is really good, the service is quick and the waiters are friendly and helpful. A place where you can confidently eat when you are in the center of Regensburg.

I don't know why we don't care about the customer and on top of that the waitress keeps asking for a tip, it's embarrassing.....😭

I'm really happy to give this 5 stars. Went there twice, once just to drink and once to eat. Everything was perfect here, the very friendly service, the delicious food, the beautiful beer garden and the authentic Bavarian tavern ambience. By the way, the suckling pig knuckle was amazing. If we come to Regensburg again we definitely know where we will stop.

A nice beer garden, not too big, but still big enough so that you don't sit directly on the lap of the next table. Friendly staff and a consistently positive first overall impression. I can't say anything more about the ambience inside because I was only outside. The menu is not overly crowded, but you can still find something for most people here. In terms of price, the offer is completely okay. The orders always came very quickly, regardless of whether they were food or drinks. Definitely a recommendation for me.

A nice restaurant in the city center with a nice beer garden and a great ambience. Drinks and food came quickly. We had a bit of bad luck with the slightly lukewarm white sausage. The cheese spaetzle and the snack were okay. The dish called Gröstlfleisch in short: Chopped roast, probably from the day before, with ham, fried potatoes and a sauce that was too strong and too salty and didn't improve the dish. Unfortunately the staff wasn't in a good mood. We paid by EC card, because we wanted to give a tip, the waiter had to enter the amount again into the EC machine. The reaction was a loud gasp, a shaking of the head and an annoyed typing of the amount including the tip into the device. Well, maybe tipping isn't welcome in Regensburg?! Conclusion: What a shame.

As always, we were very satisfied. The food is delicious. I love the suckling pig knuckle with spaetzle and coleslaw and the Schwabenpfandl was delicious. The ambience is great and the small beer garden is great. I find the drinks a bit too expensive (e.g. Russ €4.90 Radler €4.80)
