Well, for the price I expect fresh ingredients, but unfortunately the schnitzels are made from molded paper and even the sauce has canned mushrooms! You can eat it, you can also go somewhere else.

Amazing place with wonderful German cuisine and tasty beer. Prices are very good and for 25 euros you can eat and drink a beer. If you’re looking for some really German beer and traditional food - it is good place for it.

Unfortunately, the roast pork wasn't tender and the pilsner didn't taste fresh. Unfortunately, not quite the experience we would have liked. However, the food prices are fair.

The food was ok, ambience was good. But sorry, asking for a tip in such a rude manner is not acceptable at all. My guests from South Korea were very horrified because no one expected to be treated like that.

I had the Brauherren Schnitzel, I can only recommend it. Freshly prepared, it tastes very good. The cut piece of the schnitzel was due to my hunger. I can recommend the Hacker Pschorr.

Rustic atmosphere, get a seat without a reservation and that on Saturday. Schnitzel dishes and kale dishes were very tasty, very good quantities. For vegetarians only 2 dishes. Good price-performance ratio. Fries available even though it's not on the menu.

We visited this restaurant to see if we would go there soon with a large group. Unfortunately, it didn't really convince us. The service was partly helpless as to what food was being served here. The transport of beer here was sometimes not so safe and we were sometimes afraid that we would feel like the gentleman at the next table and that the next beer would end up on our table or in our backs. Unfortunately the knuckle didn't convince me either. The size was OK for the price. Unfortunately, I know knuckles that are crispier and don't come off the bone so badly. The coleslaw wasn't to my taste and was very dry.

1/2 chicken from the “fry” … unfortunately the clothes also smell a bit greasy afterwards … Potato salad was really tasty! Snack plate... simple, but ok... Service ok; Everyone has tealights ;-)

The food was all in all good but the staff wasn't so attentive and we felt a bit ignored - although it hadn't been that crowded. Our visitors invited us to that place, so it's very touristy.

Habíamos comido aquí en nuestra 1 visita a Hamburgo 13 meses antes y decidimos volver aquí nuestra 1 noche de calle en esta nuestra 2a visita aquí y a Hamburgo, después de una experiencia horrible en el restaurante Crowne Plaza! La última vez, fue un sábado por la noche, y aunque teníamos una reserva, nos dieron un límite de tiempo en la mesa y nos sentamos junto al bar. Esta vez estábamos en el mismo nivel, pero en la parte trasera cerca de la cocina y no tenía reserva ni límite de tiempo en una noche de domingo. No sé quién nos esperó, pero fue muy atenta una vez que empezamos. Tuvimos que esperar unos minutos ya que ella tenía varias mesas a nuestro alrededor con la comida servida cuando nos sentamos por primera vez para que se entendiera. Pedí una cerveza Dunkel y tuve 2 en total. La otra mitad tenía vino blanco. Pedí el nudillo de cerdo crujiente, que los alemanes parecen hacer muy bien. La otra mitad tenía schnitzel con patatas y salsa. Todo estaba delicioso y a un precio justo. Nuestro total fue de 54 € más 10% de Trinkgeld (propina). Las tarjetas de crédito son aceptadas a diferencia del otro lado de la calle, donde los precios son ligeramente más bajos, pero la comida no parece tan buena o fresca allí! Disfrutamos de nuestra comida, y si volvemos a Hamburgo, que es poco probable que nos alojaríamos una tercera vez en el Crowne Plaza, dudo que volveremos aquí de nuevo, pero recomiendo encarecidamente!

Food fantastic, beer great and service good to very good depending on the employee. Unfortunately, the restaurant has a huge flaw that can no longer be ignored. It stinks badly from the basement! On the one hand, the toilets smell extremely, which suggests that odor traps and vents are in need. Actually easy to fix, so it's questionable why it hasn't been fixed long ago. But the basement hallway and the corridor to the toilets stink extremely!! As if something was rotting there. This also moves up the stairs into the restaurant. The last time a mouse ran over my shoes... Well, I can't go there anymore. Really a shame. The knuckle was very, very good.

Excellent Bavarian dinner in a restaurant near the center of Hamburg.

Unfortunately that was nothing. Came in spontaneously at lunchtime. At 1:15 p.m. we are the only guests. We order kale with smoked pork from the menu and ask if we can get the second portion without meat. That would probably work, says the waitress. It takes 30 minutes for the food to arrive. The kale is lukewarm, the caramelized potatoes are unpeeled and partially burnt - which the listless waiter comments with "Well, that's a shame!" The fact that the portion without meat is priced at the same price as the portion with meat - at least 22 euros - tops it all off. There’s a different way to get regular guests!

Schade, dass so viele Restaurants schließen. Und: Schade, dass die Betreiber die Schuld meist bei den Gästen suchen. Heute waren wir wieder einmal im Wirtshaus in St. Georg und ich befürchte, es wird auch wohl bald zu machen. Woran liegt es? Wenn die Bedienung gelangweilt auf den beiden Sesseln im Eingangsbereich unter der Treppe sitzt, es nicht für nötig hält, zur Begrüßung der Gäste den Arsch hoch zu kriegen und statt dessen gebannt das Handy fest im Blick hat. Es wird auch nicht gefragt, ob man vielleicht schon mal was trinken möchte. Man wartet, trotz auffordernder / fragender Blicke, bis man bestimmt fragt: Darf ich jetzt bitte bestellen? Hier ist der Gast kein König sondern Bittsteller! Zwischendurch kommen Gäste, die offensichtlich in hinterem Restaurantbereich länger gewartet haben, und geben ihre Bestellung an der These auf. Ich bestelle ein weiteres (Keller-)Bier und bekomme ein Bier. Was interessiert es dem Kellner, was ich zuvor hatte? Weitere Gäste kommen. Ohne aufzustehen oder den Blick vom Handy zu nehmen, wird lapidar gesagt: Setzt euch hin, wo Platz ist. Vielleicht bin ich zu alt, um duzen als modern zu verstehen. Ich empfinde es als respektlos. Und insgesamt fühle ich mich in diesem Restaurant alles andere als willkommen. Und so schließt sich der Kreis: Wenn die Gäste von den Servicekräften als Störfaktoren wahrgenommen und behandelt werden, darf sich niemand wundern, dass die Gäste nicht wieder kommen. Mir geht es jedenfalls so und deshalb war unser gestriger Besuch wohl der letzte. Schade, das Essen war übrigens gut.

The food is better than at the Hofbräu. But I still didn't think the food was particularly high quality. Beer is of course delicious, service is tried hard, but still remains average. What's annoying is that all of your clothes can actually be put in the laundry if you're sitting in the back near the kitchen.

I saw TWO MOUSES, one walked next to me and the other in the bar. When I told the waitress she laugh at me and told me that it’s normal. Really I find it inaceptable for a restaurant. The food was good anyways. But I’m not coming back, it’s honestly unbelievable.

Wir waren an einem Sonntag Abend gegen 18 Uhr im Restaurant, Familie und zwei Freunde. Wir haben draußen auf der Terrasse gesessen. Nach kurzer Zeit kam eine Kellnerin und hat unsere Getränke Bestellung aufgenommen. Nach ca. 10 Minuten wurden unsere Getränke serviert und wir wurden auch gefragt, ob wir was essen wollen. Wir haben vier mal Schnitzel und eine Brauhaus Pfanne bestellt. Das Essen wurde nach ca. einer halben Stunde serviert. Das Essen war bei allen „ok“, nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Die Schnitzel hätten nach meinem Geschmack dünner sein können. Was mich eigentlich gestört hat, dass in der Zeit nach dem wir unser Essen bekommen haben, keine Servicekraft mehr blicken lassen hat. Ich hatte noch ein Bier beim Koch bestellt, der das Essen gebracht hat. Leider wurde es nicht gebracht. Der Rest in unserer Runde hätte auch gern noch was getrunken, aber leider kam keine Servicekraft mehr. Das schlimmste waren aber die Toiletten. Ich musste durch den Gastraum und eine Treppe nach unten. Ein langer Flur führte zu den Toiletten. Es roch schon auf dem Flur sehr unangenehm nach Toilette. Auf der Herrentoilette hat es so sehr nach Urin gestunken, das ich es nicht eine Minute dort aushalten konnte.

Only 2 waiters for 2 floors plus the outdoor area, so the waiting time was correspondingly long. Things picked up, not brought. Unfortunately the schnitzels were too dry for me and the beer wasn't great either. The beer that was labeled as Kellerbier neither looked nor tasted like a Kellerbier. I didn't leave a tip because I personally didn't think the service was good overall. I can't recommend the place.

Delicious food, unfortunately the service is not on point. Reservation requests by email remained unanswered. Nevertheless, we spontaneously got a table for 2.

Bavarian flair and food in Hamburg. Very tasty haxn and meatloaf with fried potatoes. Cozy and rustic. Staff specifically. Unfocused. Don't tell your guests that they drink a lot! You should be happy that there are guests who consume more than one drink in addition to the food! Rather not barrier-free. Paid parking nearby.

Convenience and unkempt toilets

If you intend to order dessert after eating a main dish, it will arrive (perhaps) after at least half an hour or it will not arrive (as happened to me). I can't recommend this place for dinner.

Das Essen war gut, der Service allerdings könnte besser sein. Nachdem wir die Getränke endlich hatten, mussten wir selbst aktiv nachfragen wann wir das Essen bestellen können. Es wurde gefragt, wie es uns geschmeckt hat - aber die Teller wurden leider nicht abgeräumt.

We were here just before closing time around 11am and still got drinks. If you don't want to drink Pils in the north of Germany, you're served here. The service staff was also very relaxed and friendly.

Food was decent but waited 1 hour for someone to take our order. We were told multiple times that they'd "be there in a bit". After we finally got our meal the only thing the waiter said was that we should remember to rip. Terrible service even if the schnitzel was fine enough.

the beer was not filled to the brim, the service was very slot, the potatoes were cold and to make matters worse, they asked for a tip. When I indicated on the machine that I did not want to tip, the lady behind the bar started complaining hugely in front of all the other guests that tourists never tip. Guess why? I do not recommend this restaurant of very poor quality.

We had dinner on the terrace in very good weather, we ordered 2 special dishes to share, the good knuckle was spectacular, the bad was the waitress with mega makeup, after waiting more than half an hour she had forgotten our order, other tables had dinner before that arrived much longer late

Nice little restaurant on 2nd Paralelstr. to Outer Alster Hauptstr. at the Meridien Hotel. Prices normal, typical Bavarian food and drink, staff friendly. Small outdoor seating available, lots of tourists eating here.

So glad I found and went to this small but super nice restaurant. There were thunderstorms in Hamburg so that limited the seating because outside was suddenly closed but the veey lovely English-speaking staff member kept me informed about when a table would be ready. 5mins later I was seated and ordering a large Hells beer (super cheap as I’m used to Swiss prices). Food order soon followed and the haxe (pork knuckle) didn’t disappoint. Again the staff were super friendly and patient with some many people in town for exhibitions so that definitely made the evening (that and food & beer). Couldn’t see the entire restaurant as seated upfront but can highly recommend for solo or couple looking for good food, beer and service and a great price. I don’t often add this to reviews but thanks to the staff as you were exceptional 😀

A cozy restaurant with lots of outdoor seating. If you like something hearty, this is the right place for you. The long benches are made of wood and are very rustic, but you sit well and comfortably. You are served quickly and the food comes promptly. The service was friendly on our last visit. I always like the food very much. There are offers throughout the week, on certain days. For example schnitzel day. You can choose between 3 different variants and the price is sensational. Schnitzel with fried potatoes for 9.90 euros. We always enjoy coming by ❤️

Hacker-Pschorr in Hamburg is unfortunately only for “tourists” Unfortunately it doesn’t have much to do with the original one. Only 2 waitresses for the entire restaurant, which of course were overwhelmed. Harsh service, which had to assert itself at that moment, was perceived as rather unpleasant for the registered and invited guests. Likewise, the collection beyond €250 was designed with tip requests, which was no longer comprehensible with the service. The food itself was good, no question, but the concept behind it unfortunately failed. Conclusion: kitchen is absolutely fine, service has its own mood which is not the origin of it.

Good taste of Bavarian food and beer in northern Germany!

Waited for over an hour only to find out that our voucher was lost on the way to the kitchen... But the main thing is that the drinks were charged in full. Congratulations on such poor service.

Ate there by chance with colleagues. Got a table outside. Unfortunately it took quite a long time until someone came to order drinks (15 minutes). It also took a while for the drinks to arrive. Unfortunately, eating took another good 45 minutes. We had knuckles and hands. My knuckle was ok, but I had had better in Bavaria. The Händl was rated as very good by my colleague. I would have liked to drink something or eat dessert. But after no one came to our table, we paid.

While the white sausages are very good, the cheese spaetzle are largely bland and unseasoned. The highlight, however, is the service: While one waitress is extremely instructive towards the guest and does not offer a drink menu, the other waitress tells the guests at the neighboring table in detail and rather inquiringly that several of her colleagues have just been fired for fraud at the expense of the boss. Feel-good atmosphere...

I can strongly recommend an Ice cold Paulaner Weiss beer with their superb Barvarian crispy knuckle of pork! Delicious!!

I was with a group with 4 of us. We ordered the KaseSpatzle, Schweinehaxe and Flamkuchen. The food was amazing. Bahare who took our order was very kind and checked on us a few times to make sure everything was alright. She also gave us a free shot each ! Highly recommended :)

Delicious Bavarian food, especially the schnitzels are highly recommended. Since the meal took a little longer due to the many guests, we received bread with spread as a small gift from the house. Overall, the staff is also very friendly and attentive.

In summer you can also sit outside. 2023 unchanged, it's really beautiful here! March 2024, prices increased significantly! And you still get bullied if you come at 11:25 a.m., even though it's open from 11 a.m., you'll be criticized for being there too early. July 2024, the drinks prices are way too high, already exorbitant for draft beer, so now one star deducted

Great food. Original Bavarian. I was at Pschorr at Viktualienmarkt a month ago. Hardly any difference. The waitress has her heart on her tongue. Got along really well with us Berliners.
