Nice new little restaurant that perfectly complements the offering in the Neustadt. Delicious! I've been here twice and would love to come back.

Food was good but service took some getting used to. The menu was thrown at us and half of the menu was not available, but we were only informed of this after thinking about it when ordering. The meat was okay, a bit dry. We recommend the mixed plate for 2 people, as there is a bit of everything. We were the only ones in the restaurant and waited 1.5 hours for our food. But if you want to try something new, you might get your money's worth here.

Surprisingly delicious food, I've eaten Eritrean food several times and it was particularly good here! The dough bread in particular was just right, nice and fluffy and light. Nice staff and many dishes are also possible to be vegan and/or gluten-free. Looking forward to next time

We had the specialty dish for two ppl and it was very delicious. Plenty of food and we were not able to finish everything. Many different flavours and to us it was something novel and exciting. The specialty dish only contains one meat dish so if you want more meat you should probably order something else. Would definitely come here again to eat. For the size of the dish an absolute bargain.

Overall, the food was very tasty, varied, and quite a lot (we had the specialty platter for two people, perfect if you can't decide and are also a bit overwhelmed by the still very unfamiliar dishes). A little instruction on how to use the pasta as 'utensils' would probably be quite helpful for totally clueless Almans like us. Likewise napkins. The preparation and 'delivery' to the table is carried out hygienically using latex gloves. If you like, you can also look over the counter and watch it being prepared. It was not possible to pay with a credit card, but payment with an EC (Maestro) card is possible without any problems.

I am so happy that an Eritrean-Ethiopian restaurant finally opened in Dresden and every time I went there, it was always so satisfying! Just make sure you come hungry, because the portion is quite generous. Finger lickin' good!!! 🤗

Hammer! I don't know the last time I had such a delicious meal. Also healthy, as a lot of legumes are used, and great for people who have to be careful with allergens, as most of it is gluten-free and lactose-free. On top of that, the whole thing is very cheap. I can only recommend it. If I'm in Dresden again, I'll definitely come back!

I think I have ordered everything off the menu over the last month and I love them all. I usually ask for extra injera as 1 portion can make for atleast 2 meals for me, and I freeze and enjoy over the week. 10/10, reminds me of home.

The food was great! It's worth going there for. Coffee was delicious and I thought the incense was appropriate. However, I don't know the meat dishes. A lot could be done about the service and ambience. A pity. Toilet paper and soap are missing, anyone who doesn't know Eritrean food will be overwhelmed by the presentation - but it was clean. Quite cheap for that. Overall, I still thought it was good and will come back.

Endlich gibt's Injera in Dresden. So lecker!!!

Das Fleisch ist ungenießbar, die Küche und das Kochgeschirr schmutzig. Die fertigsachen aus der Dose waren ganz ok ... bestellt bloß kein Fleisch. Es ist zäh, sehnig und liegt ungekühlt auf der Arbeitsfläche Rum. Schade

endlich ein äthiopisch-eritreisches restaurant in dresden. aber leider nicht top: injera (das brot, das sowohl teller als auch besteck als auch serviette ist) manchmal zu dick wenn auch geschmacklich gut. die gerichte wechselhaft (fleisch war tlw zu sehnig, dann auch mal gut; doro wot (huhn) gibts lt. inhaber nur am donnerstag; gemüse wirkt tlw. wie einfach fertigprodukt plus äthiop. gewürze). getränke stehen tlw. gar nicht auf der karte, aber wenn man sie selbst an der theke entdeckt, kann man sie auch bestellen...toilette weit unter standard. da es in der region das einzige ist, kann man es zum probieren empfehlen

Sehr leckeres und reichhaltiges Essen. Unbedingt Hunger mitbringen. Nettes Personal. Wenn man was möchte dann einfach nachfragen. Sonst wird man gern auch in Ruhe gelassen.

Hervorragendes Essen und echtes eritreisches Bier in sehr schlichtem aber doch hinreichendem Ambiente. Preis Leistung stimmt hier absolut. Kartenzahlung mit EC Karte problemlos möglich.

Die Speisekarte lockte uns vier mit interessanten Gerichten und drinnen saßen schon ein paar Gäste an ihren großen Tellern mit interessantem, gut aussehendem Inhalt. Also wagten wir es und ließen uns auf die Erfahrung ein und nahmen uns den Platz am Fenster. Die Bedienung war schnell, freundlich, unaufdringlich und trotz kleiner Verständigungsprobleme bestellten wir uns 2x mal das gebratene Rindfleisch, den gemischten Teller und das Gemüsecurry. Als das Essen auf den wirklich sehr großen Tellern serviert wurde, waren die Erwartungen groß und da fiel uns auch auf, dass hier mit den Händen gegessen wird. Fanden wir interessant, war mal was anderes und hat uns tatsächlich gefallen. Leider wurden hier keine Servietten angeboten, die für uns ungeübte nötig waren. Zum Essen: Das gebratene Fleisch war ungenießbar durchgebraten, die Beilage dazu jedoch gut und angenehm scharf. Das Gemüsecurry war schlicht aber lecker. Der gemischte Teller war wahrscheinlich am besten mit unterschiedlicher Auswahl an Linsencurrys, Salat, Fleischbeilage und Rotkohl. Gut, den Rotkohl hätte man sich mMn sparen können, aber der Rest hat mir gut gefallen. Zum Ambiente: Sehr schlicht gehalten. Auf der Toilette funktionierte die Spülung nicht richtig und es fehlten Tücher. Alles in Allem waren wir etwas enttäuscht und hätten für das Geld besseres bekommen.

Die Verständigung fällt sehr schwer, sobald man einen Extrawunsch äußert. Bitte nicht hinter die Theke schauen... Das Essen schmeckt gut, aber die Flexibilität könnte besser sein. Ambiente sehr schlicht & auf keinen Fall die Toilette im Untergeschoss nehmen!!! Es fehlen Toilettenpapier und Seife😳

Es schmeckte gut. Die Kartoffeln waren aber leider sehr fade. Die Portionen waren sehr üppig.

I enjoyed my evening in Habesha. The food was tasty however the potato curry was very bland with no seasoning at all. The portions were very big and I would recommend coming with an empty belly.

Food is delicious, and the portion for two is huge. It is a family style restaurant, where you make yourself comfortable. We got the speciality, a mix of different food, where you use a particular bread to eat. So so tasty. Restaurant and toilets were very clean. Highly recommended.

Super leckeres,abwechslungsreiches, gesundes und sattmachendes Essen. Die Hauptspeisen starten bei 9€ Aufwärts, machen jedoch auch satt wie 2 Mahlzeiten. Es gibt auch kleinere Speisen z.b. Foul für 6€. Ich komme sehr gerne und es ist immer wieder lecker!

Wir haben den Teller der gemischten Beilagen und eine Hauptspeise bestellt, welches uns zusammen auf einem riesigen Teller gereicht wurde. Für diese zwei vollen Mahlzeiten bezahlten wir je 13€, was heutzutage ziemlich günstig ist. Nach dem Essen waren wir beide übersatt. Die Küche ist offen, sodass wir den zwei Köchen zuschauen konnten, wie sie unsere Platte zubereiten. Wer viel Wert auf hygienische Arbeit legt, sollte den Blick allerdings meiden - denn hier kocht 'Mama' wie Zuhause.

Wir hatten die Hausspezialität für zwei Personen. Es sah aus wie 1,5 der Portion und wir hätten besser zwei separate Mahlzeiten für den zusätzlichen Euro bekommen. e Fleisch war verkocht, während der Spinat leicht verdorben war. Das Personal in der Küche trug keine Handschuhe und es sah unordentlich aus. Die Atmosphäre war nicht einladend. Im Bad gab es keine Seife, und die Toilette sah aus, als wäre sie vor kurzem durch einen Überlauf verstopft worden, und die Flecken waren noch überall. Unsere Toilette zu Hause sah ein paar Stunden später ähnlich aus. Es gab weder Toilettenpapier noch Handtücher. Der Kartenautomat hat nicht funktioniert.

I love this restaurant, and I am here almost weekly. It’s cozy, and the dishes are really flavourful and tasty. Highly recommend!
