The food was good, both servers on duty today were absolutely nice, helpful and radiated joy in their job. We felt welcome and would love to come back

I've been there twice with my girlfriend and each time we were warmly welcomed. Even though the store later became more crowded, the atmosphere was still very great and pleasant. Service was very polite and nice both times. The food was really really good. The normal burger tasted really good and what's more, no frozen patties were used. The portions were also more than sufficient and therefore also great in terms of price. From now on it will be our regular restaurant.

Super delicious, whether on site or to take away

I had dinner there with my work colleague last night and we were lucky to get a free table for two. So it's best to reserve. But despite the restaurant being full, the service was quick and very, very friendly 10/10. The food was also super tasty and freshly prepared and arrived quickly, despite the fact that it was really full. Gladly again. Ps: we were happy to do that with the fairy lights.

I wanted to go out to eat with my girlfriend, but unfortunately I was completely ignored by the staff. The store was moderately full and there was no apparent stress. After guests were served after us and we didn't even have menus and a waitress walked past us with cards, we went to another burger place. Too bad

Nice, friendly, attentive staff. Portion size great compared to the price. Good seating options. The rooms are designed to be friendly and welcoming. Toilets are clean. There is a charge for parking in the surrounding area. Is in the middle of the pedestrian zone.

We were at the city festival in Giessen last week and didn't choose the competition, but instead chose Gutenburger. And we haven't regretted it. The shop is small but nice. The service was impeccable and the food tasted great. What we particularly liked were the prices, which were extremely fair for the church square in the city center. We'd love to come again :)

Ein toller, leckerer Abend. der sicher noch länger in guter Erinnerung bleibt. Die Burger waren heiß, lecker und keine Spur von fettig. Auch die Süßkartoffel hervorragend. Knusprig, heiß und nicht fettig, wie es leider bei einigen Mitbewerbern immer wieder ist. Einfach gut.

Our classic burgers were very good, however the vegetarian ("chicken") didn't have much taste. It was nice to eat on the front patio, but inside it's very noisy when it's busy. The waitress was very cheerful, which is a plus.

Very tasty burgers and sufficiently large portions for reasonable prices. The fries were also very good. The homemade lemonade is also worth recommending. There are many ways to make the burger vegan. The tables are a bit small if you want to eat with 4 people. The ambience is quite cozy and the seating is comfortable.

We came to the city for a walk and they recommended this place to us. The staff is friendly; The atmosphere is very pleasant, it has two options: interior and terrace. The menu is not extensive but it has something for all tastes and a plus is that it has vegan and vegetarian options. Now, let's move on to the food: simply delicious; We ate a beef burger and a chicken burger, in both cases the meat was juicy and well seasoned; We drank mint and passion fruit lemonade, very refreshing, and some very delicious sweet potatoes. The only drawback I have is that accessibility to the bathroom for a person with wheelchairs would be difficult since you have to go down stairs. Otherwise everything very well . Recommended.

Great variability when ordering burgers, both in terms of buns and patties (modular system). Lots of meatless patties to choose from, and you can also choose from different types of French fries as side dishes. Service very nice and attentive. You can sit outside well. Often very well attended because of the good food.

Burgers, fries and service top. Salad flop. We ate 3 burgers, all very tasty. The Shepherd, The Spicy and The Smokey. The salad, on the other hand, was really bad, but since the service was really nice and the fries also tasted very good, I'm still happy to give it 5 stars.

Very tasty burgers. You can have the burger customized, e.g. grain or wheat buns or classic, vegetarian, vegan or chicken patty (classic patty is usually fried medium). Extras such as fries (the classic ones are very tasty) are of course also possible with various dips to choose from. The cocktails and sodas we had were delicious and so was the hot brownie. The prices are pleasant and not too expensive and the menu is also available in English.

I happened to be there today and tried the burger. I haven't had a better one in Giessen, so for me it's "Best Burger in Town"! The service was super friendly and attentive, the food came quickly, and the fries were also sensationally good. We were there for the first time today, but definitely not the last time!

The burgers are of course delicious in themselves, but on a Dr. Avocado Forgetting the avocado is really a disgrace. That would be like forgetting the patty on a hamburger at McDonalds. Of course, that didn't make you full. Furthermore, I think the chili cheese sauce tastes exactly like that from Burger King, which isn't a bad thing because this sauce is very tasty.

If you want to eat vegan or vegetarian food, this is the right place for you. Meat eaters don't miss out either. Petty for the hamburgers 🍔 selectable, you can put everything together to your liking. The burger restaurant Gutenburger is definitely worth a visit! The burgers are delicious, with perfectly seasoned meat and juicy burger sauce. The fries are crispy and delicious. The staff is friendly, but we recommend reserving a table in the evening as it fills up quickly. We were lucky that we were able to spontaneously get a table.

The burger was really tasty and the price was fair. Fries and dessert (chocolate cake and churros) were just "okay". The waiting time was short (but it wasn't very busy), the service was friendly and the ambience was also good. Conclusion: The burger (with beef) was ultra tasty and the best I've had in Giessen so far. The rest was pretty “okay”.

A nice burger shop on the market square in Giessen. The service is friendly and the staff is nice. The prices are not the cheapest, but the food is very good. It is advisable to reserve a table in order to get a seat. The atmosphere is pleasant and it's easy to sit here.

The service and ambience are really great. Eating didn't take long either. Fries were great and so was the coleslaw. Unfortunately I have to deduct points for the burger. We had the classic beef patty and unfortunately it was a bit gristly and had a firmer consistency. Not as soft and juicy as expected.

The service is very friendly and quick. The menu is clear and transparent. With various individual combinations of burgers and side dishes, everyone can choose something that suits them. The burgers and side dishes are very tasty. Burgers are served well-done and, if necessary, toppings can be ordered on the burger.

Small but very good burger joint. Very cutely decorated, service was nice and courteous. The food is modular and really good. Prices are standard for this type of burger. We paid just under €50 for the entire stay for two people. Also vegan friendly.

Ein nettes kleines Restaurant, mit schmackhaften Speisen und super netten Personal, dazu top Ambiente.

Hier wird Kulanz und Kundendienst sehr klein geschrieben. Es wurde über uber eats bestellt. Anscheinend muss man bei einem Burger ausdrücklich betonen, dass man ein Brötchen dazu haben will. Ich habe für 25€ € bestellt. Zwei mal Pommes lauwarm und eine Boulette auf drei Romasalatblätter… beim Anruf dann nur nutzloses Gerede über das Anklicken auf der App usw. Jeder anständige Laden entschuldigt sich und bietet einen neuen Burger an. Nicht hier. 20% und ich soll doch nochmal bestellen. Ohne Worte, ehrlich… es würden ja so viele Leute Boulette auf Salat bestellen. Alleine das Brötchen auszuschließen ist schon so sinnfrei. Dann lieber zu Minas Adis, da gibts so ein Problem nicht.

Eine nette kleine Lokalität mit einer gut sortierten Karte. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und wurde super schnell zubereitet. Ebenso ist das Personal sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich 👍

Ich war zu meinem Geburtstag mit 12 Leuten da und es war Mega lecker und der Service war wirklich super!! Kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen auch mit größeren Gruppen kein Problem wenn man vorher anruft.

Per Uber Eats bestellt. Bestellung kam falsch und vor allem komplett kalt an. Zwischen 20:55 - 21:10 angesagt, kam um 21:40. Geschmacklich gut.

Gemütliche Atmosphäre, sehr gute Burger und super Personal. Habt euch die 5 Sterne durchaus verdient. Bleibt wie ihr seid.

Alles in allem sehr gut. 1 Stern Abzug beim Essen weil, die pommes 🍟 mir persönlich zu kross frietiert waren. Burger war super, auch der Rinderbacon ist zu empfehlen.

Wieder ein Burger Laden...aber dieses mal für mich wirklich stimmig im Konzept. Passt alles, die Auswahlmöglichkeiten der Zusammenstellung seines eigene Burger finde ich gut. Die Frites wirklich toll!

Eigentlich schreibe ich nie eine Bewertung, aber dieser Burgerladen verdient es! Der Laden ist super schön dekoriert, man kommt rein und fühlt sich schon wohl. Die Pflanzen, die Bilder an der Wand, die Sprüche am Spiegel. Die Bedienung war echt lieb und das Essen kam auch sehr schnell. Man musste kaum warten. Die Burgen fand ich auch sehr lecker und man wurde richtig satt von denen. Die hausgemachte Limonade kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Die Toiletten sind sauber. Würde wieder kommen !!! 5/5

Spontan nach einem Restaurant mit veganen Speisen gesucht und den Gutenbuemrger gefunden. Noch schnell einen Tisch reserviert (war wirklich nötig!) und dann kurze Zeit später da gewesen. Super netter Service, schönes Restaurant und viele Außenplätze für gutes Wetter. Die Burger waren super lecker und auch die Pommes ausnahmslos kross und perfekt zubereitet. Wirklich uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen! Auch unser Hund war hier willkommen und bekam sogar als erstes sein Getränk als Trinknapf am Tisch serviert :-)

Wir konnten heute (Samstag Nachmittag) noch spontan einen Tisch für abends reservieren, obwohl das Lokal den ganzen Abend über gut gefüllt war und einige Reservierungen vorlagen. Unseren Hund mitzubringen war kein Problem, sie hat sogar einen Napf mit Wasser bekommen. Das Personal war durchweg sehr nett, Extrawünsche bei der Bestellung wurden umgesetzt, das Essen und die Getränke kamen zügig nach der Bestellung; es gab eine große Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten, Soßen und Dressings. Das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet, die Tische stehen teilweise etwas eng, was aber auch absolut kein großes Hindernis darstellt. Für einen Burger mit Pommes und Getränk muss man ca. 20€ einrechnen, meiner Meinung nach das Geld aber wert.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat uns super gut beraten. Allerdings war das Essen etwas enttäuschend: das Fleisch war knorpelig und das vegane Patty winzig. Die Pommes waren gut, aber serviert mit billig Fastfood Ketchup und Mayo. Das Essen kam trotz mega vollem Laden blitzschnell und war preislich ok. Trotzdem würde ich hier eher nicht nochmal essen.

Nachdem ich im Restaurant gegessen habe war ich echt beeindruckt. Der Burger ist lecker und vollkommen ausreichend. Die Chips lecker und knusprig. Darüberhinaus ist die Bedingung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Toiletten waren ebenfalls sehr sauber. Ich komme gerne wieder. Danke!

Von mir gibt es nur 3 Sterne. Preis Leistung passt leider nicht. Für normalsterbliche Menschen mit 80KG und einigermaßen Hunger, reichen die Portionen bei weitem nicht. Für den selben Preis werde ich in anderen Restaurants in Gießen mehr als satt und muss keine Abstriche der Qualität hinnehmen.

Die Burger sind sehr saftig und lecker. Das Essen wird mit Liebe zubereitet. Definitiv eine Empfehlung!
