Gude Vibes in Uelzen

Very nice shop, the logo is reminiscent of Type O Negative. Service and food were quick, very tasty and I would dine at this establishment again.

We walked into the shop and were immediately greeted with a rude attitude, and the staff were very unfriendly. After waiting forever, we were finally able to place an order. The food came pretty quickly... Mayo and ketchup weren't brought to us until 15 minutes after we'd received the food. The food was a disaster... the doner meat was gristly and not seasoned at all. Some of the fries were raw inside, and the mayo was sour. I won't be going there again with my family.

I'm totally shocked... I actually visit you guys quite often, but from today onwards I'm definitely not going to do that anymore. I'm unfortunately going to tell my friends about it too. The bowls were so bad the last few times... totally mushy and really inedible. I wanted to give you a chance, but sorry... Never ever.

I can't recommend the food; it has no special effects and gave me severe stomach cramps that evening. The staff was unpleasant. You don't have my vote.

I've visited this restaurant several times. On my last visits, the food didn't meet my expectations on several occasions: The dishes weren't hot enough, and the preparation seemed less clean than usual. The service wasn't friendly, but rather rude, and the wait times were significantly longer than advertised. The value for money isn't always good, as I wish they showed more appreciation for their customers. The fight at the town festival was absolutely disgusting; this kind of thing must be reported to the police immediately!

We ate at Gude Vibes for the first time on Friday and were absolutely thrilled. The service, ambiance, and food (very, very tasty 😋 and plentiful), as well as the value for money, are absolutely top-notch. Highly recommended! We went back for dinner the next day. Very tasty food, everything fresh and prepared and presented exactly as I wanted. The service is friendly, quick, and always tries to accommodate special requests. One point deducted because, for me personally, the tables are a bit too close together and it can get quite loud overall.

Hello, I was very disappointed today at 6 p.m. I was really hungry and wanted to lock my bike to the tree and go and eat there, but I was chased away with my bike and treated very rudely. There is neither a chair nor a table next to the tree. There is enough space to lock a bike there and I have done that several times before. So far, no one has been bothered by it. It is a public footpath. The unfriendly little man swore at me and asked me if I could leave my rickety bike there. It would be annoying, but my bike is anything but rickety, but given the rudeness I experienced, I will think twice about eating there again. There shouldn't be such employees. For me, the whole thing is over and friendliness says a lot about the heart and mind. I would not recommend it. I would rather go for a Berliner Döner, there everything is just right.

I heard that at the town festival, five people, mostly employees from the "Gude Vibes" store, attacked a father and didn't stop until someone intervened. The store will definitely be avoided from now on! No matter who did what or how, something like that is never justified.

Last night at their town festival stand, I had to watch as four or five employees attacked a father who was there with his daughter, even after he was already on the ground. They then continued to harass the daughter as well. Simply disgusting, and for me, a reason never to eat at that place again, regardless of who escalated the argument—I don't know.

Niche found, niche occupied! That's what Uelzen was missing! There's only room for improvement in the evening opening hours.

Four of us were there for lunch today and ordered the "Gude Vibes" platter. The food was delicious, plentiful, and very attractively presented. The entire staff is extremely friendly and likes to joke around with guests. You immediately feel welcome there, and we will definitely be back. There is a wide selection of bowls, unfortunately none in ketogenic yet, but that may be coming. I can definitely recommend Gude Vibs.

Delicious food, friendly service. The chicken wasn't quite as good in my bowl, but everything else was simply fantastic.

Very tasty vegetarian options. I ordered the halloumi sandwich to go. It took about 10 minutes, which is perfectly acceptable for lunchtime. The sandwich itself tasted very fresh and delicious even at home. I will definitely try the other vegetarian dishes and stay for dinner at the restaurant sometime.

I regret my previous review so I'm rewriting it. It really couldn't be more unfriendly. Of course, they are not open to criticism there either. Probably more of a rotisserie and not a kebab. 1 star is already too much. We're definitely not coming back.

Unfortunately, on Friday evening (April 25, 2025), this store served a larger group of men, around 10 people with a migrant background, who stood in front of the store around 9 p.m. and harassed my sister and me (in my early 20s). Really stupid things and since we didn't react to them, they spat after us and shouted loudly at us. It's a shame that such guests make the store bad and unattractive.

I went here for dinner for the first time today and was actually extremely surprised. We really liked the variety on the menu, as well as the fair prices. The service was very attentive and we didn't have to wait long for our order in an appealing atmosphere. I felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back.

Is aight. It's tasty, but it's not a blast. We somehow expected more. Everything is very fresh and healthy but not a culinary experience and quite expensive. The price for the kebab is appropriate but for the bowls? Too much. You have to know.

Hello dear Gude Vibes team, I've been to you three times in a short space of time... Why? Because you really know how to convince in everything. The first time I was there with my son, then with my daughter and the third time I got something out. I've already tried it out and am completely satisfied. From the shrimp bowl to the kebab, it's simply delicious, I packed my wife a bowl every time and she's also super happy :). Even fries are just awesome... I had to be careful that I didn't eat them away from my kids... Everything in detail just got to the point. The service was friendly, personable and accommodating. GUDE ViBes fully lives up to the name. I'll definitely come around more often now or get something out when it's convenient. Thank you very much, it's nice when you get quality and great service. Best kebab in the Uelzen district! Everything else is also recommended. Employees are competent and friendly. Price is in the upper segment, but for the quality it's completely ok.

We always enjoy going out to eat at this top store. Quality has its price and you can see this not only in the food but also in the very attentive service. Many other restaurants in the Uelzen district can compare.

Addendum December 2024 Unfortunately, I am now changing my 5-star rating from the beginning of 2024 to a well-intentioned 3 stars (December 2024): The entire experience was not really pleasant for me and I would not come back for the time being. Too bad. More like “poor vibes”. I stopped by “Gude Vibes” in December 2024 to order Kumpir and a vegan bowl. The food arrived at the table lukewarm, one component tasted spoiled (when asked, the service said this tasted good and was normal). Overall, the dish disappointed me in terms of taste; it lacked spice, herbs or that certain something. Questions from the guests or the service during the course of the meal were also answered in a very distant and almost curt manner. Unfortunately it didn't seem hospitable to me. In addition, the service seemed neither motivated nor attentive or particularly interested in the well-being of the guests (all subjective impressions, but I didn't feel unwelcome - and I don't expect a permanent grin, entertainment or wishes to be read from someone's eyes). It seemed to me as if the atmosphere in the restaurant/snack bar had changed. As if the guest should eat up and disappear; Eating food instead of sitting together relaxed and enjoying tasty food. As I said, I'm talking about my experiences, but I can't speak for all the dishes or different days because I've only been there twice. Unfortunately that will be it for now, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. Original review January 2024: Tasty food, generous portions (bowl and kumpir), calm, relaxed and polite service, reasonable prices, whether omnivorous, veggie, vegan, gluten-free - something for everyone, clean toilets, easily accessible location.

It's a shame, you can't handle criticism well here. I gave it a third chance. Some of the fries weren't well done (the meat wasn't great either), I couldn't eat the last dozen. Still had to pay the full price and got a snippy answer. And then stomach cramps. Location is otherwise nice. Unfortunately a certain arrogance/ignorance on the part of the operators.

A clear enrichment for Uelzen, I hope it stays that way Nicely decorated, you can definitely eat there. You can also order to take away, despite the tables being full, they are still very quick when you order something. All the tables were occupied and I waited maybe 5 minutes for my kebab, which was great! Tastes great, fresh, crunchy and very tasty! In my opinion the best in the whole area. Finally a kebab that makes my sauce dreams come true! At Gude Vibes, ‘a lot of sauce’ really means a lot of sauce! Exactly how I wanted it! Every bite perfectly soaked and incredibly delicious. My girlfriend still raves about the pide with shrimp and feta. Conclusion: We are thrilled and will definitely come back!

The restaurant justifies the Halal declaration by saying that they do not serve pork. However, this is a misunderstanding as the absence of pork alone does not mean the meat is halal. Corresponding certificates are missing.

Best kebab from Uelzen anyway, but also much better than the veal and turkey kebab from Hamburg... very tasty bread, which gives the kebab another kick, and fried vegetables too! Simply unique. Price: €8.50... yes it's not cheap, but it's high quality

Five of us were there on a Friday evening. Drinks and food are included separately when ordering. Small menu, with a nice selection. It was very tasty and our starter and main course came to the table quickly. In two orders with pide, the cheese was forgotten - so the food was returned and came later. There were free dips - great service! Highly recommended, especially for a relaxing evening with friends or family.

Went to Gude Vibes in Uelzen for the first time today... We had two Gude kebabs, very tasty with the house sauce and homemade bread... Really great, also the service... Even though there is a city festival in Uelzen, the service was great took his time when ordering and was in the mood to have fun... It won't be our last time there and we're already looking forward to it...

However, I have already had friends/acquaintances there with me several times and were not full of the portions (example: kebab) and I felt the same way, but only with the example mentioned. First of all I have to say that the food is very filling so you shouldn't eat anything in advance but, It was as delicious as it looks I had a kumpir that you can mix yourself I made it with kidney beans, peanuts, red onions (tip🤫 : For those who don't tolerate spicy, the onions were a bit spicy) and corn mixed. We were asked immediately (approx. after 2-3 minutes) what we would like to eat and drink, and she was very nice, the ambience is also very nice☺️ just for that Recommend and we will eat here again often. 🤗

1. Top service, super nice, funny waiter. 2. Food was very good, we had the GudeDöner and we liked it very much. Also visually beautifully presented. 3. Fantastic atmosphere, modern furnishings. Very clean shop. The toilets are a highlight in terms of design and equipment. Various hygiene products are provided. Conclusion: I wouldn't have expected any of this from a kebab shop. I would definitely like to go there again.

The price is still okay. Portions could be larger. However, falafel is not recommended at all, it tastes fishy.

First of all, the food looks very good and tastes just as good (at least from what I've tried so far). The atmosphere is very modern and, in my opinion, very appealing. However, I have to say that the two points mentioned above suffer from the underwhelming service. When we arrived we were sat down (so far so good) and then waited for a while to be able to order. After a while an employee walked past our table and asked if we could order now. As soon as we said it, he pointed out that our colleague would be coming to us soon. What was probably meant was the colleague who had led us to the table, but who had since then been involved in conversations behind the counter. The employee went to him, opened it up and paid attention, whereupon it still took a good while until he finally came to us to take our order. This was done in a consistently monotonous manner and seemed very inflexible and impersonal, almost unmotivated and more as if he was stupidly working through a list than really engaging with us. To better understand the situation, there were 4 tables occupied inside and 2 outside, with a total number of around 15 people. So to summarize the service: Inattentive, listless and demotivated and very loveless and impersonal. Then we got our drinks and our food, about which I only have positive things to say, the kebab here is by far the best in Uelzen and is far above the usual snack bar quality, although the pricing remains absolutely fair (but that's not the case for everything So the rest of the pricing is pretty steep) so highly recommended! The pide is also great in terms of appearance and taste, from the edge to the delicious toppings. So we finished our meal, which turned out to be relatively difficult due to the large portion, so we asked if they could pack up the leftovers for us. This was done, but the food was wrapped in aluminum foil without any packaging and placed loosely on the table without a bag, which is very careless and shabby and really doesn't do justice to the rest of the store.

Great store: quality in the top league. The kebab is the best there is in Uelzen, especially on Thursdays when there is chicken kebab, it is my first stop. The service is always friendly and always responds to your wishes. The atmosphere is very modern and very clean. All in all a top shop.

Gude Vibes is something really good between a restaurant and a fast food joint. My favorite dish is Kumpir (large stuffed potato with cheese and topping). The team is always quick, friendly and very attentive. Whether for a business lunch or simply a quick stop while shopping, you're in good hands here and there's everything you need for a fresh taste. There could be more transparency regarding the ingredients (Where from? Fair?). More regionality would be great. Perhaps the concept can be expanded further. Either way, I like the shop and the team - a nice variety for Uelzen.
