Very nice place for a birthday party.

Very good food, best service, everything very clean. You feel very well looked after. Thanks. What stands out is the ice cream 🍨. Very creamy.

The service was very nice and attentive. The food is good, there was little time or none at all between the starter and the main course. As THE Fürth restaurant, it is a bit of a shame that there is no beer from the region, but from Munich. Nice old inn, but sometimes very loud when the place is full. Reservation recommended, no direct parking spaces.

Deshalb poste ich jetzt die ursprüngliche Bewertung auch hier: Wir waren schon mehrfach hier und haben stets gut gegessen. Der Service war recht unterschiedlich, je nach Person. Nun wollten wir mit unserem Schlemmerblock, der noch bis 01.12. gültig ist, nochmal herkommen. Beim Versuch, online zu reservieren, sah ich dann den Hinweis, dass dieser nicht mehr akzeptiert wird. Das finde ich unverschämt: Die paar Wochen hätte man sich noch an den abgeschlossenen Vertrag halten können!

Reserved today at 1 p.m. Place half empty. Three waitresses, but the drink order was only taken after 20 minutes. The food was served without a long wait. Carp fillet and Gordon Bleu with side dishes was very tasty. Therefore 5 stars for the kitchen. After eating we had to wait a long time for service. We asked for the menu to order dessert, which was not brought to us, even though the waitress walked past our table a few times. We sat there for 1.5 hours with only one drink because no one was able to ask. After 1.5 hours a waitress came to collect the money, even though we didn't ask for it! When paying we kindly pointed out the problems (really friendly), the waitress said: that's just the way it is. Honestly, that was an absolute no go today!

The food and service were both really good - but it is EXTREMELY loud in the place. Low ceilings and no (visible) sound absorbers or similar. If you don't want to have a conversation, it's definitely a good choice, otherwise it's better to go to another restaurant.

As a guest, you sometimes have to wonder about the behavior of other guests. While we were enjoying an excellent meal in the green tree, a guest said he insulted the waitress as anti-social and scum because he was expelled from the restaurant due to his rude behavior. The service remained surprisingly calm and confident. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back!

Went there with a friend, unfortunately the food (Sauerbraten) wasn't good even though many people had raved about it, some of the meat was tough, the sauce tasted like a sauce from a package, the dumplings weren't great either... maybe it was owed to the then Kärwa. Plus points were the service and the food came to the table quickly

Had dinner there last Friday and our food tasted very good. However, the sauce for Schäuferle is much too thin! The waitresses were very friendly, although (probably because they are understaffed) one or two things were forgotten. The location itself is great, but you could do something to make it less noisy.

I was in Fürth for a few days. The Green Tree was my goal every day because I couldn't imagine anything else. The original Franconian cuisine is far too perfect. Whether it was the lamb meatballs, the magnificent sauerbraten with speculoos sauce, or half the duck, probably the best I've ever enjoyed: everything is great, enthusiastic, including all kinds of side dishes. Of course, this inn is always fully booked and the service is extremely demanding. Nevertheless, he remains attentive and approachable. The ambience harmoniously conveys the impression of a Franconian inn from the last century.

I was there with about 20 people for a company dinner starting at 7 p.m. Building impressive, orders worked, service neutral, not a word too much, a shame. Soups way too salty, cream soup cold. The Schäuferle is hard, you would need a steak knife to remove it from the bone. (Touries never eat one again after that), Sauerbraten very dry. The cherry on top: When we wanted to order dessert around 10 p.m. after the removal, the kitchen was closed without warning. Conclusion: Anyone who quotes the prices of a gourmet restaurant should also perform accordingly. Shame about the money!!! Not a second time please!!!!!

We were there for a wedding. The food was great, the service was fairly quick. Though it wouldn't have hurt to have another drink person on staff. Only thing was the AC in the room was not evenly distributed. If you were in the middle of the room dancing, you were feeling warm. Otherwise, great location.

We were surprised at the large selection of dishes. You could see at the tables that you couldn't do anything wrong here. Food was great and also filling. I thought the zucchini schnitzel was something different for veggies and was really tasty and went well with the potato salad. The companion was also very happy with the stuffed cabbage. Service was always friendly, but you could tell that they were understaffed because there was no demand for drinks. But we'd love to come back.

Nicht wirklich zu Empfehlen. Der Service so naja. Also man könnte Freundlicher sein und etwas mehr Begeisterung für die Arbeit zeigen. Das Getränk roch und schmeckte mehr oder weniger nach Prausepulver. Das Essen schmeckte 0815 und müsste besser Abgeschmeckt sein. Also ich muss Sagen ich hatte Krautwickerl und da Schmecken sogar die Fertigen vom Großmarkt besser. Also ich war da zum ersten und letzten mal. Denn wo anders bekommt man es freundlicher, besser und Günstiger!

We made reservations for outside a few days in advance. When we were there they said there was a mistake with the reservations. We were supposed to sit in when it was 30 degrees and as soon as a table outside became available, we could go out. A courtesy in the form of a cappuccino or something similar. there wasn't. We went.

A very traditional Franconian cuisine. All of us (2 kids, 2 adults) were thrilled. Everything was very tasty, whether it was a starter, main course or dessert. The drinks, especially the wine, were also great. We'll be back ☺️

Delicious home cooking with a beer in beautiful surroundings, what more could you want. Unfortunately there is also a lack of service staff here and you should be patient. But our waitress Steffi swept this small drawback away from the table with her warm manner.

EVEN 1 STAR IS TOO MUCH IN THIS PLACE! After I joined a birthday party at 8:15 p.m., no waitress came to take an order for half an hour. At 8:50 p.m. I wanted to order a Kaiserschmarrn and was finally informed that the kitchen closed at 9:00 p.m. and that you couldn't order anything else. So I at least ordered a little water. 20 minutes after I ordered my drink, the waitress came back and wanted to settle the bill without being asked; my water wasn't there at that point. When we wanted to speak to the managing director to express our dissatisfaction, we were put off with the words "The managing director has taken note of it, but he doesn't have time at the moment." Apparently the customer is not important enough to take time for him personally. That was definitely the last time!

It was our first time at an event in the green tree. Beautiful hall and great ambience. Food was very good. Respect for the young gentleman who had to host the entire hall largely alone.

There were far too few staff and totally understaffed for the number of visitors. The service was also very rude and only came to take new orders after asking for the third time. Even after 45 minutes with your plate almost empty, you weren't asked if you wanted to take the leftovers with you. People sat very squashed together and had hardly any space. All in all, unfortunately very bad.

Although there were free places in the shade, we had to sit in the blazing sun, having made reservations (much later). Apparently there was no service in the courtyard, although there were guests there later. The food is also not worth mentioning. Overall it seems rather unprofessional and extremely inflexible.

Sind heute Abend als eigentliche Stammgäste 20 min draußen rumgesessen ohne auch nur eines Blickes gewürdigt zu werden. Bedient sind dann die Leute die erst 5 Minuten sassen, aber halt näher am Eingang. Wir sind dann in ein professionelles Restaurant gegangen…..Fazit: der grüne Baum hat einen ziemlich absteigenden Ast.

From the street the shop looks really small and like a normal coffee shop. But I'm far from mistaken: there are several halls inside and the architectural style is impressive. You sit very comfortably and stylishly. The food was really to die for. I'm very particular and always have something to complain about, but no, nice size and simply delicious. We were there with the Franken-Loge Fürth club for their 50+1 year anniversary and I think I will go there again with the family.

Were there for the second time. The location itself is great. Every time it was the same, the waitress saw us, but that was it. Completely overwhelmed with the few tables outside. After 20 minutes we were allowed to order a drink. It has to be said that there was nothing inside and there wasn't too much going on outside either. It was already around 3 p.m. We were able to order food 45 minutes later. Other guests who came after us had already eaten and paid in the meantime. I found it rather bad that dishes only came with half the side dishes. But the food itself was very good. If we hadn't had someone with lame feet with us, we would definitely have left without ordering.

Club night, disco, music: the DJ was really bad. How can you book someone like that? Really everyone was excited. Songs were just interrupted, oops, 2.3 seconds, ah then the second part of the song (this happened continuously all night), then, surprise, a song is over..6, 7, 8 seconds until the next song came ....oh, a bad song, I'll change it right away...well, I've never experienced anything like that. The highlight: When we brought back the Aperol glasses, we were asked about the deposit vouchers. Unfortunately we didn't get any. Incidentally, not the whole evening, because we had a total of 6 glasses in exchange. The gentleman behind the counter immediately shouts: Yes, anyone could come and pick up glasses. Ah yes. How about training the staff? Last visit. Not recommendable.

We've been here a few times, but never for dinner. This opportunity arose through our voucher book. We were in the cozy Augustinerstube and were served quickly and friendly. We ordered the asparagus with schnitzel and fried potatoes instead of the potato triplets. The additional charge of €1.50 is certainly justified for the additional effort. Both the asparagus and the schnitzel and potatoes were excellent and well portioned. The “Hollandaise sauce”, which was very light and foamy, was also delicious and, in my opinion, very special. Therefore, I think the price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable. We made a reservation and although it was still relatively empty around 6 p.m., it filled up a bit over the next hour. In summer the seats outside are very popular, so I would generally recommend a reservation. It's easy to do online and you even get a reminder text message the day before. Since I have absolutely nothing to complain about, I get full marks! We will certainly be happy to come back.

We Ran into this place by accident during the Weinfest and I’m glad we did. I had arguably one of the best dishes I’ve ever had in a German restaraunt at this place and it was a roast beef plate. The bacon wrapped green beans alone had a wonderful unique taste. I ordered mine with grilled vegetables instead of curly fries which I ate first lol. The roast beef is a nice size and was perfectly cooked. It came with a very nice sauce that matched perfectly along with some crispy onions!! It’s about 20€ but I would gladly pay that for this plate again.

We traveled from Saarland to see this beautiful restaurant and were in the green tree on two Easter days. We weren't disappointed, despite the restaurant being well staffed, we had great service and great food. Special praise to the two ladies from the service. We were really completely satisfied and would love to come back.

First things first: We called 2 hours in advance to reserve a table. When we arrived at the Green Tree (apparently there was an event there on Saturday evening) there were 2 bouncers in front of the door who I told them that we had reserved a table - then the smug bouncer looked at his notepad and just said - "it doesn't say it on it - bye" . Honestly - I always find it remarkable how some people pride themselves on their "ability" through certain clothing, like that of a bouncer, and treat other people so disrespectfully. Since we had the gourmet pad/coupon book, we persevered and just sat outside. We had to wait forever for the menu. Well, at least the food was very good - there's nothing to complain about. But I wouldn't go to the Green Tree again because of the poor service and the haughty bouncer. There are many other nice restaurants on Gustavstrasse.

Original Franconian restaurant with a great history. The super friendly service conjured up a children's menu that wasn't on the menu and made our daughter more than happy. Also thanks to a chocolate lolly as a farewell. We ate Schäuferla with dumplings and an “Easter plate”. Best quality, large portion, fresh and super tasty. Augustiner beer, fresh from the tap!!!! The service was so warm, friendly and courteous that we were happy to stay longer for a drink. An all-round successful evening with great food! Highly recommended.

Been in the green tree for the first time. A very cozy old Franconian kitchen. I can only recommend it to you. It is prepared without any fuss. Value is placed on tradition and taste. Very very very tasty and super nice service. We'll come back and try the other dishes. 😍😍😍😍

The colleague disappears, 2 minutes pass, she comes back. “Okay, we have a table in the next room.” All right. Actually only 6 people fit at the table, but there are only 7 of us. After 5 minutes another colleague is there and takes the drink order. After another 10 minutes the first one again and wants to take the drink order. Thanks, we already have it. . After another 5 minutes she accepts the food requests. The drinks arrive 45 minutes later after three requests, two drinks are missing, the still water is bubbling, ice cubes are bobbing in the white wine. When, 65 minutes after ordering, a good 90 minutes after we entered the restaurant, and after 2 reminders, there is still no food on the table, I say a friendly goodbye. Our mistake. We didn't believe what others warned us about. Something can go wrong, of course. But first waste a table reservation, then be stopped for a “move”, then wait 45 minutes for drinks. Get to know 3 service staff, none of whom know what they are responsible for/for which table, We were told at 2:25 p.m. the food was already ready, it just had to be carried out (20 meters to the kitchen) and at 2:31 p.m. there was no sign of it. No thanks, another restaurant in the future!

Today was St Patrick's Day party. Ambience was not very inviting. The event started at 6 p.m. and by 8:20 p.m. the Guinness on tap was sold out... Absolute NoGo! At 10:10 p.m. the Edelstoff was sold out in an Augustiner house... I wonder what was planned there. All in all, unfortunately not recommended for the price of the ticket!

ADDENDUM: I'm deducting another star because the owner claims I've never been to his restaurant. We went here for dinner for the second time today. On my first visit I had cordon bleu with potato salad and that was also very tasty. Today I tried the sauerbraten. What can I say, disappointing, for almost €19 I got an old hard cold dumpling. The meat was quite good, unfortunately the red cabbage was inedible. Unfortunately, the young man who served us hardly understood us at all or constantly misunderstood us. It's a shame, after our first visit in the summer, I actually expected better quality and, above all, FRESHNESS for the prices. I have to say, out of 8 people, 4 of us had something with dumplings, all 4 dumplings were not fresh and very hard. It's a shame... but then we'll enjoy our roast with dumplings somewhere else.

Beautiful and cozy old town pub in Fürth's Gustavstrasse. We were pretty unlucky with the food. One dish was cold and in the second the meat was tough. At least the food came quicker than the drinks. The service was incredibly slow, sometimes forgetful and gave the impression of indifference. We had to wait 40 minutes to reorder drinks.
