Grothenns in Bremen

Spargel-Event 2026. Extrem laut, am buffet hat ständig was gefehlt was zu langen Wartezeiten geführt hat. Am essen war kein Salz dran sodass wir extra Salz noch ordern mussten. DJ Toddy war wiederum spitze und hat die Tanzfläche durchgehend voll bekommen. Ich bin ein bisschen enttäuscht das es hieß solche buffet Events würden öfter gemacht werden. Schneibar hat man nur Lieder den Bogen beim nachfüllen des Buffets noch immer nicht raus. Ich würde aber wieder hingehen, einfach um zu schauen ob es nur ein einmaliges Problem war da ich sonst nur gutes gehört habe.

Wir waren zur Spargelparty da im Februar zur Kohlparty. Jedes mal fand ich es viel zu eng gestellt. Den DJ finde ich eine Katastrophe, aber das ist denke ich generationsbedingt (wir waren immer Gruppen ab Mitte 40).Die jüngeren finden ihn anscheinend super. Für mich hat es zu sehr Ballermann Charakter. Und wenn mal ein Lied kommt was gefällt kann es sein das es nur kurz angespielt wird und es einen extremen Stilwechsel gibt. Kohlfahrt essen fand ich lecker, Spargelbuffet schwierig, nur 1 x Kartoffel und von 4 Seiten kamen die Leute, geschmacklich aber okay. Generell ist Buffet nicht meins und gerade bei den engen Bestuhlung sehr unglücklich vor allem wenn man direkt am Pfeiler sitzt. Das Personal ist sehr höflich. Fazit für mich. ich gehe gerne zu Grothenns zum a la carte essen. Die Party s sind für mich nichts.

Tolles Gasthaus! Hatten im Rahmen einer Spargel - Tour die Ehre dort essen und feiern zu dürfen! Super Buffet, ich habe schon sehr lange nicht mehr solch einen guten Spargel etc. gegessen. Musik und Getränke waren topp! War sehr zufrieden, gerne wieder! ☺️

Leider lässt sich von unserem heutigen Besuch nicht viel Positives berichten. Wir hatten einen Burger, Putengeschnetzeltes, Rumpsteak und Spargel. Dabei setze ich die Qualität immer ins Verhältnis zum Preis. Die Menge ist subjektiv und wird nur marginal berücksichtigt. Der Spargel (5 Stück) mit Kartoffeln und Hollandaise war mittelmäßig. Er war etwas zu holzig. Der Preis: 30 €. Der Burger war nicht gesmashed, war aber auch nicht schlimm, da er nicht als solcher angeboten wurde. Jedoch handelte es sich um eine lockere Frikadelle im Ciabatta-Brötchen mit Cheddar und Bacon, dazu gab es rustikale Pommes. Leider auch nur Standard und geschmacklich nichts Besonderes. Preis: 19,90 €. Das Rumpsteak war hingegen sehr gut. Für "medium" etwas zu durch, aber trotzdem sehr gute Qualität. Dazu gab es gegrilltes Gemüse und Pommes (anstelle der Bratkartoffeln). Zum Putengeschnetzelten: Serviert auf einem Pastateller schmeckte das Geschnetzelte nicht frisch sondern war aufgewärmt und fad im Geschmack. Zudem fanden sich in der kleinen Menge 80 % Paprika und Zucchini. Ich habe auf dem Teller leider nur 5 Stücke Putenfleisch finden können. Die Menge wäre bei hochwertiger Zubereitung und gutem Geschmack akzeptabel. Dazu wurde Reis in der Größe einer Tasse gereicht. Preis dafür: 20 €. Das Ambiente bei Grothenns ist immer Top. Die Bedienungen wirken etwas lustlos und zu stark beschäftigt, waren aber freundlich. Wir kennen von diesem Restaurant bessere Qualität. Bitte wieder dazu übergehen.

Hab meinen runden Geburtstag in Form von Brunch gefeiert. Rundum zufrieden. Personal, Essen und Feierraum außerordentlich gut. Die Chefs sind sehr persönlich und man merkt, daß sie Spaß an der Sache haben.

Grothenns ist eine gute Stube! Wer gepflegt Essen möchte und dazu ein gutes Glas Bier 🍻!Ist hier richtig.... Für große Feiern, Familienanlässe und und und sind sie auch wohl bestens bekannt. Tolle Feier zum Jubiläum 125 Jahre. Mitarbeiter haben alles im Griff und sind fröhlich.

Wir waren am Samstag zur Kohlfahrt im Gasthaus Grothens und es war insgesamt einfach richtig klasse! 🔥 Die Stimmung war mega, ausgelassen und von Anfang an einfach nur gute Laune. Ein ganz besonderes Lob geht an DJ Björn: absolute geile Arbeit! 🎶💃🕺 Die Musikauswahl war perfekt, hat super zur Veranstaltung gepasst und die Tanzfläche war dauerhaft voll. Man merkt sofort, dass DJ Björn weiß, was er tut – klare Empfehlung! Essen, Service und Getränke waren top 👍 Wenn man überhaupt einen kleinen Kritikpunkt nennen möchte, dann höchstens die Kochwurst zum Grünkohl, die war leider eher matschig und keine knackige Wurst. Das ist aber wirklich das Einzige, was man negativ erwähnen könnte. Unterm Strich eine rundum gelungene Veranstaltung mit toller Atmosphäre, super Service und einem DJ, den man absolut weiterempfehlen kann. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! 🍻🙌

Das war die zweite Kohltour bei Grothenns. Essen, Getränke und Ambiente sehr gut. Einfach nur zufrieden.

Waren zur Kohlfahrt dort und es wäre seeehr voll. Tanzen bzw ein durchkommen zur Tanzfläche war schwierig. Unser Platz war in einem extra Raum wo leider kein Lautsprecher war damit man ein wenig mitbekommt was im Saal passiert, zumindest die Wahl zum Kohlkönig. Ich hatte als Ausweichessen Schnitzel mit Gemüse welches in Ordnung war aber sah mir sehr nach Tiefkühlprodukt aus. Der Kohl soll auch in Ordnung gewesen sein. Etwas weniger Menschen in der Location würde Sinn für mich machen aber da sind sie Geschmäcker verschieden. Aber zum Feiern und " Baggern" genau das Richtige 🤪

Es hat uns allen wieder Spaß gemacht. Schon das zweite Mal in der Saison ;-). Service wirklich freundlich und immer wieder ansprechbar. Die DJs , es waren 2 verschiedene, geben Vollgas. Das Essen kommt zeitgleich zu vollen Zufriedenheit, geschmacklich nicht wie bei Mutti, aber völlig in Ordnung. Wir sehen uns im nächsten Jahr.

Wer Grothenns bucht, weiß was er bekommt! Wir waren am Wochenende zu einer Kohlfahrt bei Grothenns. Der Saal war voll und es war so richtig kuschelig, so wie wir es mögen! Guter Service, super lecker Grünkohl! DJ Björn, wie wir ihn von Kohlfahren und vom Freimarkt kennen, einfach Top! Ideen für die Zukunft: Garderobengeld im Hauptpreis verringert beim Einlass die Wartezeit und Aperol mit in das Kartenangebot aufnehmen. VG Wir sind 2027 wieder dabei:)

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe zur Kohlfahrt. Nicht das erste, jedoch DEFINITIV das letzte mal. Sonst war es meist ganz gut, dieses Mal aber eine reine Katastrophe. Die bestellten Getränke kamen in angebrochenen Flaschen an den Tisch. Das Essen war geschmacklich nicht gut. Die Keller waren nicht nur extrem unfreundlich, sondern haben teilweise sogar aggressiv auf Kritik reagiert. Haben uns auch mit ein paar Leuten vom Nachbartisch unterhalten und diese haben es genauso empfunden und waren sehr verwundert. Es war einfach ein total misslungener Abend und wir werden dieses Lokal nie wieder betreten und es auf keinen Fall weiter empfehlen.

Wir sind schon mehrere Jahre Zur Kohlfahrt bei Grothens zu Gast, Allerdings war gestern alles nicht so positiv gewesen wie man für ds Geld erwartet hätte. Die Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich und das Essen wurde sehr schnell abgeräumt obwohl man die Bedienung drauf hingewiesen hatte dass das Essen stehen bleiben sollte und noch später essen wollte. Das war aber der Bedienung egal und das Essen wurde abgeräumt und wahrscheinlich weggeworfen. Echt Schade . Wir hätten es später noch gerne gegessen. Nächstes Jahr suchen wir eine Gaststätte die eventuell besser auf die Kundenwünsche eingeht .

Waren zur Kohlfahrt am 7.2. da. Wurden in einem kleinen Raum untergebracht mit noch einer Gruppe. Von der Musik hat man da nichts mitbekommen und es war einfach nur unpersönlich. Dieser Laden wird völlig überbewertet. Nie wieder

Das Ambiente ist typisch Gaststätte, mag man oder halt nicht, aber das Essen - wir hatten Grünkohl- war fantastisch und wirklich auch viel und der Service aufmerksam und freundlich.

Im Rahmen einer Kohltour vor Ort gewesen. Stimmung war Dank DJ Toddy den ganzen Abend Fänomenal. Etwas unverschämt fanden wir die 2€ für die Garderobe zu der man gezwungen wurde. Das ist für ein Lokal schon dreist. Am Grünkohl habe ich nichts auszusetzen und auch die angebotenen Getränke waren gut

Wir waren zur Kohlparty bzw. zum Kohlessen und waren eine kleinere Gruppe. Das Essen war insgesamt ganz gut. Einziger Punkt für mich persönlich: Es gab Fertigkartoffeln, die ich einfach nicht so gerne mag, da sie für mich immer etwas säuerlich schmecken – das ist aber Geschmackssache. Bei der Fleischnachbestellung war der Speck leider direkt zu Anfang schon nicht mehr verfügbar... Das fand ich etwas schade. Die Musik vom DJ war nicht ganz mein Geschmack und ich hatte den Eindruck, dass das Publikum nicht so richtig abgeholt wurde. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich aber das Servicepersonal: freundlich, aufmerksam und wirklich gut organisiert – da wurde ein sehr guter Job gemacht. Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Abend. Die Veranstaltung war gut besucht und trotz der sehr kalten Temperaturen draußen war es drinnen angenehm warm und gemütlich.

Wir waren gestern bei der Familienkohltour. Auch für die nicht Kohlliebhaber gab es eine super Auswahl. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Toddy hat für eine super Stimmung bei große und kleine gesorgt. Am 27.2. werde ich dann mal die normalen Kohltour testen. Freue mich schon.

Klassiker! Deutsche Küche. Viele Veranstaltungen wie Kohl&Pinkel, Tanz in den Mai etc.

Wir waren heute erstmalig zur Familien-Kohltour beim Gasthaus Grothenns. Es war rund um ein sehr gelungener Tag. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Auswahl war groß und auch für nicht Kohlesser war eine große Auswahl an Alternativen vorhanden. Für die Kinder wurde ein kostenloses Kinderschminken angeboten. Der Service war super und die Bedingung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es wurde kontinuierlich für Getränke gesorgt und schmutziges Geschirr wurde schnell weggeräumt. Das Programm durch DJ Toddy war einfach toll. Er hat es von Anfang bis Ende geschafft nicht nur die Kinder sondern auch Erwachsenen auf der Tanzfläche zu halten und einzubeziehen. Trotz kurzer Trinkpausen für die Kids war die Tanzfläche direkt wieder voll und die Stimmung war super. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen und bedauern es nicht schon in der Vergangenheit teilgenommen zu haben.

Die Familie Kohltour war richtig Klasse. DJ Toddy hat es super gut gemacht. Das Essen war super, leider musste man manchmal auf weiteres Essen warten. Nächstes Jahr sind wir wieder am Start.

Die besten Kohltouren in Bremen

Wir waren im Januar zur Kohltour hier und die Party ist einfach jedes Mal super - insbesondere wenn DJ Toddy da ist. Was leider (und hier bewerte ich nur die Kohltouren) eher enttäuschend ist, ist das Ausweichessen. Für 78€ inkl. Getränkepaschale gab es als vegetarische Alternative einfach einen großen Haufen trockenen Reis, zerkochtes Gemüse mit ganz wenig Sauce und zwei trockene Gemüseschnitzel. Für den Preis finde ich das wirklich sehr enttäuschend. Hinzu kommt dass mein Essen auch erst kam, als alle anderen das normale Essen bereits aufgegessen haben und ich den anderen beim Essen zusehen musste.

Wir waren zur Kohltour dort. Hatten uns nach Jahren wieder einmal für Grothenns entschieden. Eigentlich bekannt durch gut bürgerliche Küche und auch coole Kohltourpartys. Dies mal war es das blanke Grauen. Wir wurden an einen Tisch gesetzt an dem wir zu sechst nicht mal als Gruppe richtig beieinandersassen, da 4 Personen allein auf einer Seite sassen, eine Person an der Stirn und die letzte dann auf der anderen Tischseite. Wir sassen so eng, dass eine Person noch auf die Ecke gerückt ist um zu Essen. 18 Uhr angekommen, warteten wir etwa 20 min ehe ich jemanden ansprechen musste, um etwas Trinken bestellen zu können. Weisswein war nicht geniessbar, zu warm und auch das billigste was es gibt. Wir wechselten dann auf Bier und Gin Tonic. Das Essen kam etwa 1:15 nach unserem Eintreffen. Die Suppe geschmacklos ohne Grün, dafür grob geschnitzter Blumenkohl und Monster Ei Einlage. Der Kohl war gut, die Kartoffeln waren leider nicht sauber geschält, der Pinkel war für uns geschmacklich pfad und das Kassler schlug Blasen. Wer schon öfter da war, wusste das sich irgendwo im Restaurant die Eistruhe für den Nachtisch befand. Zu unserem Zeitpunkt sah es dort aus wie nach einer Schlacht. Der Tisch daneben mit Kaffee, war geflutet von ausgelaufenem Kaffee und es waren keine Tassen mehr vorhanden. Ein Hinweis vom Servicepersonal beim Eintreffen wäre übrigens gut gewesen, um zu wissen, wie es sich mit dem Nachtisch und dem Kaffee verhält. Der Service selbst lies sich am Tisch selten sehen, man musste schon selbst schauen, dass man zu seinen Getränken beim Essen kommt. Das Einzige was wirklich gut war, war DJ Toddy. Der brachte wirklich Stimmung. Allerdings war auch auf der Tanzfläche jede Menge zerbrochenes Glas und Getränkereste. Der Sicherheitsdienst ging ab und zu rum, interessierte sich aber nicht wirklich für die immer wieder mit Gläsern auf die Tanzfläche kommenden Gäste. Alles in allem war das für 80 Euro (78 Euro plus 2 Euro Garderobe) im Vergleich zu anderen Kohltouren unserer letzten Jahre teuer und das Geld nicht wert. Fazit: unkoordinierte Massenveranstaltung mit schlechtem Essen. Schade für Grothenns und diese Tradition.

War zur Grünkohltour da. Die Suppe vorweg war grausam. Der Kohl war nicht lecker die Pinkel kam in einer Schale und sah aus und schmeckte wie Knipp. Leider nicht zum weiterempfehlen. Der Service war Super.

Die Kellnerin bedient nur ihren Freund und dessen Anhang andere Gäste werden komplett ignoriert und warten länger als 20 Minuten, bis sie was bekommt wenn sie überhaupt was bekommt. Eine andere Kellnerin ist nur am Handy und bedient die Kunden nicht

Seit über 100 Jahren besteht das Haus unter dem Namen „Grothenn's“. Die Inhaber begegnen den Gästen vertrauensvoll und bodenständig. Zuvorkommender Service, stets beste Qualität an Speisen und Getränken.

We had our Christmas party there yesterday on the first floor. The restaurant's ambiance is lovely. The upstairs restroom is a bit cramped, but extremely clean and odor-free – very commendable. We had menu item 1, which in my opinion deserves an A+. Everything was delicious. The staff were all extremely friendly and attentive. You feel comfortable and in good hands there; I can highly recommend it. It was my first time there, and I'll gladly return.

We were there for the Christmas party and had a very nice buffet. The food was, as always, delicious.

The food and service were very good. My Knipp was nice and crispy and plentiful. The salmon was also very good.

We held our Christmas party there. The room was very cold, so we sometimes had to wear jackets. Initially, the staff didn't react, but they later set up space heaters. It was still very uncomfortable. I expected better quality food. It was a real shame that the meat wasn't hot and that some of the missing side dishes only arrived after we asked for them. One vegetarian dish was forgotten and didn't arrive until the rest of us were almost finished. This was incredibly annoying, and something like this shouldn't happen with a small group.

Unfortunately, it's become a purely mass-market operation... even on Saturday evenings, the dining room is set up with some kind of buffet and a private party. That's it. Unfortunately, I was served a forgettable schnitzel again... completely greasy breading... not golden at all, but white like white bread... a real shame... but only tolerable because I like the place, the owners, and the atmosphere...

I recently went there with a friend for kale dinner. The decor is rustic and wooden, but very cozy. The service was fantastic! The food was amazing! There was a lot of it, and it was delicious. We'll definitely be back!

Friendly atmosphere with excellent service - I would love to come back

So, we were there about 30 years ago for the Kohltour, and it was excellent back then. Now we were invited to brunch for an 85th birthday, and it was really bad. I hope it was just a momentary snapshot and others weren't so unlucky. The rolls weren't from the bakery but had been reheated, and they fell apart when we cut them, they were so dry, and that was with several people. There was no bread as an alternative. Lunch, however, was, as expected, very good. The final dish was plum and crumble cake, which was so-so, but that's a matter of taste. What was completely unacceptable for a place like this was that they served us canned whipped cream. You could tell by the way it collapsed on the cake and was very thin, which is something real whipped cream isn't and doesn't make, and all the guests agreed on that. As I said, it's actually a good place; we were probably unlucky this time.

I can warmly recommend this restaurant/guesthouse. Very friendly service, beautiful location, whether for eating or celebrating, simply perfect, super delicious food at fair prices, 5 stars from us 🌟 +

We attended a large birthday party at Gasthaus Grothenns and were absolutely thrilled. The house is very cozy and spacious, with plenty of space for parties and a beautiful garden. The food is excellent – ​​the cooking is of a high standard using very fresh ingredients, simply delicious! We were particularly impressed by the organization: Even though other guests were being served in separate rooms at the same time, there were no delays in our orders. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Highly recommended – we would love to come back!

'I was a guest at my daughter's graduation party. I've rarely had such bad, uninspired, and substandard food for so much money. This is a real rip-off. It's a shame, because the price of just under 90 euros never justifies such a boring buffet...

A top address. We were here for an asparagus meal in the restaurant. Friendly service, a very well-cooked steak with the asparagus—what more could you want? Always a good address. Plenty of parking and bike racks are available. Reserving a table can be helpful.

We held our prom here with approximately 330 people and were completely satisfied. The entire planning process was smooth, very accommodating, and quick. The evening itself ran smoothly; the service was very prompt, friendly, and well-coordinated. The food and ambiance were also excellent and met our expectations. The feedback from guests was consistently positive, and we would wholeheartedly recommend Grothenns for a celebration of this type and size.

We celebrated our graduation ball there on June 27, 2025, with about 470 people. It was our first time there and we were so positively surprised. It was unbelievable what the team accomplished. The food was hot, delicious, and varied on the buffet, and drinks came quickly. The staff was plentiful, polite, helpful, and resilient. The garden was very well-kept. Highly recommended for large parties, not just small ones.

We had an apartment very good everything was clean. Good beds. Actually nothing to complain about super. Will definitely come back. Good service friendly staff.

We were at the last cabbage trip this year and what can I say, the cabbage was great as expected, after it was already announced as the best cabbage in Bremen, vegetarian alternative food was also fresh and crispy, DJ was a matter of taste, but the dance floor was full all the time, the staff were friendly and attentive, of course sometimes stressed out by the crowds, but that's why we're there, to celebrate with lots of partygoers. We're regular guests here, performing at events or attending lectures. We've known the place for nine years now. We still enjoy the food, but sometimes I wish it were more discreet when serving, serving food, etc. Otherwise, it's especially distracting during lectures. Nevertheless, I have to say that the attitude of the service staff and management is positive! We always enjoy coming here.

The Kohlfahrt is a single mass event. It was so crowded that you couldn't even get to the dance floor.

Kohltour review from 03/15/25 For us it was the first (and last??) cabbage tour at Grothenns. Starting with the wardrobe, it was of course foreseeable that at €75 an additional charge would be necessary. Unfortunately, when we ate the meatballs in the wedding soup were very thin and no more were added. The cauliflower was simply left in one piece for simplicity. The main course was OK but didn't motivate anyone to order again. Overall, it's all a minor matter. So when the actual party slowly got rolling, you quickly noticed that there were too many people for the location/dance floor. Most of the time the DJ just stood on stage and shouted incomprehensible stuff to drown out the songs at inopportune moments. I think if you play Greek Wine, Highway to Hell and Yeah by Usher in 5 songs, everything has been said about the quality of the DJ. Overall, unfortunately, a very average and partly negative experience, which is even more serious than usual given the PRICE. In terms of quality, €50 (including wardrobe) would probably have been fair.

We were here for a cabbage tour. This is of course a different situation than regular operations. The atmosphere was nice, the service was really great. Despite many guests, very attentive, quick and in a good mood. The vegetarian food was a disgrace for the price. Lukewarm frozen vegetables, without salt or similar, which appeared to have just been thawed on the heater. Plus a soggy patty that could definitely have gotten more out of it. We had a cabbage trip and can highly recommend the place. The food was plentiful, nothing was missing and the service was top notch, the glasses were never empty 😃

We were here for the cabbage drive and it was packed. As always, DJ Toddy created a great atmosphere. This time there were different types of ice cream that you could take out of the freezer yourself. Once again a successful event.

Were here on a busy tour with work. It tasted great, from wedding soup to kale! Staff have always been friendly💪🏻 Unfortunately there were only 3 flavors of ice cream available. But when they were all gone and I was desperate, Vanesse came and brought some more ice cream! Best service ever!

I was on the cabbage tour on Friday and I was disappointed. The handcart was handed over without any problems and we were then assigned to a table at the front of the reception. We took a seat, it was busy so we waited a little longer for our service so we could get our drinks. Nothing happened for a long time until the soup with meat was served without asking whether anyone was vegan and so far without any drinks. The waitress then came to take the drinks, without a greeting, without a smile and only passive aggressively asked about our order after she couldn't understand us acoustically. The drinks came quite quickly, as did our vegan alternatives to the soup. This was followed by the main course, which I asked about by email weeks before the cabbage trip because I couldn't imagine anything as a "vegan alternative meal", but I didn't get an answer. The main course was cold and very bland, the vegan schnitzel was soggy and the vegetables had no taste whatsoever. The other alternative meal, which was described as “schnitzel”, was an unbreaded piece of chicken with frozen vegetables and croquettes, also cold of course. Drinks were no longer requested, so we ordered at the bar. very nice and fast bar staff. The strange thing so far, however, is that someone in our group ordered a red wine and then received a cola in a wine glass. The mood was pretty good until DJ Toddy Rammstein played, which was simply inappropriate and a sign for us to leave. Unfortunately I have to advise against a cabbage trip in Grothenns. Our cabbage tour group consisted exclusively of restaurateurs who themselves work at cabbage parties in other restaurants. Afterwards we went to another place to eat, which seemed pretty grotesque for the price of €72.

Good Morning, We went to the cabbage trip on February 22, 2025 with the group of Daimler colleagues. I haven't been to Grothenns in 20 years. Everything was like a proper cabbage trip should be. When you arrive in front of the restaurant there is an exuberant, happy atmosphere that you need in these dark times. Friendly welcome and off to the set table. Excellent hospitality and a high quality, tasty cabbage meal was served. My colleagues and I enjoyed the cabbage celebration to the fullest. Special thanks to Silvia for our table service. Cabbage tour on a Saturday: how can you squeeze so many people into the building? Just seems like a money-making scheme. The corridors are all too narrow and the area is clearly too small for the number of people. Reduce people by a third and it's fun! Of course, the ban on glasses in the area is not adhered to with so many drunk people. Everything is full of broken pieces and unfortunately cannot be removed. However, the staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. Update from a second cabbage tour (which took place on a Friday): It was noticeably emptier. The additional rooms were not occupied. So overall it was much more relaxed. There was space on the dance floor and the broken pieces were removed immediately. Always like this please!

Been here for a long time today. I was greeted in a very friendly manner by the boss and we had a beautifully set table! The food was incredibly delicious. We always enjoy coming back. Big praise to the team, who always provided us with delicious drinks and were always in a good mood. It should also be emphasized that the inn was very well heated even in winter. You feel very comfortable here.

We were at the family cabbage trip in Grothenns. The service was great and the staff was friendly, although a smile from the staff would have been nice, but that is of course not a prerequisite for a successful afternoon. The cabbage was very tasty and “schlonzig”, that’s how cabbage should taste. The pee and cooked sausage was also very tasty and the smoked pork was tender, although it was obviously salmon smoked pork. For dessert there was ice cream from a waffle and red jelly with vanilla sauce. Additionally also Nuremberg sausages, fried potatoes, vegan schnitzels, chicken schnitzels, chicken nuggets (made from chicken breast fillet), etc. Overall the food was tasty and of good quality. The highlight of the day was YOU Toddy, as he spread a great atmosphere and motivated young and old to dance, play and join in.  The music ranged between Ballermann hits and mood songs, which is exactly what a good cabbage trip entails. Ultimately it was a great afternoon and we would also like to take part in the “adult kohfahrt” at Grothenns next year, if DJ Toddy is responsible for the entertainment. Overall, I can't understand some of the negative criticism here. I have organized or taken part in many cabbage drives and the cabbage drives in Grothenns are without a doubt among the best. In my opinion, the criticism of the music is also not correct. What should be played on a good cabbage trip? Spanish folklore, French chanson, Berlin ghetto rap...?

Kohlfahrt 2025 - great atmosphere, great team, cabbage was delicious 😋

Our cabbage party yesterday started well. Food was okay, service was good. Then DJ Björn came and it became terrible. You don't need a self-absorbed cheerleader who stops a lot of songs in the middle. The traditional opening song of the newly crowned Kohl couple was missing and the music had little to do with the Kohlparty. Overall it was far too crowded and going to the toilet was an obstacle course. The seating was too narrow and we ate like we were on a plane. I don't want to go partying there anymore.

We were there for the cabbage party. I had an alternative meal to the cabbage, which unfortunately I wasn't enthusiastic about. Two small schnitzels on croquettes with a vegetable mixture under hollandaise sauce. Of course, with the masses of people who show up to eat coal, you can't expect everything to run smoothly. The cabbage and everything that went with it came to the table quickly and in abundance. And was well refilled. When asked, my alternative came 15 minutes after the cabbage arrived. Unfortunately the schnitzels are not crispy, nor are the croquettes. Unfortunately, the vegetables were more than al dente. Since the mushy schnitzel and the soft croquettes didn't give me a pleasant mouthfeel, a large portion was returned. I tried a forkful of the cabbage, which was well seasoned and therefore tasty. It's a shame that there wasn't much dancing because of the overcrowding of people. The staff was friendly and the toilet was clean. I mean with 200 fewer people we would have had more fun. But that is my subjective opinion as a driver that evening. You probably think it's nicer when you're drunk.

Did a cabbage trip there yesterday. The food was quite good. Terrible, absolutely terrible, these crowds of people - this is not a cabbage trip, this is mass processing and far too expensive for that!!! DJ belongs on the Balleman to Malle, but not on a cabbage trip.

It's about a cabbage drive event! 77€ (including wardrobe) was a bad investment! I wouldn't have needed a DJ who didn't finish a song, repeated songs up to 3 times and created a 100% Ballermann atmosphere! The traditional cabbage trip opening with the dance of the new cabbage kings/queens was also ignored. Maybe it was lost in the deafening volume. The audience was predominantly between 18-28. Glasses were taken to the dance floor and no one cared. The food was extremely fatty. Cutting a cooked sausage that was splattering with fat with blunt knives was a challenge! This restaurant won't earn twice as much from me. The one star was for the service. Everyone was very friendly and attentive until 8 p.m. After that it was hardly possible to get through to the tables. Too bad!

Were here for the cabbage trip and we really enjoyed it. The room is extremely spacious, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. The event itself also completely convinced us. All drinks included in the price, food was great and plentiful. The music was great and the atmosphere was very good throughout. We'd love to come back next year 👍🏻
