Grill Wanne in Herne

Just got home with two orders of kibbeling with fries and one fried fish with potato salad. I paid €30 for it and was pretty disappointed. The fries were small and hard on the bottom, and I've never seen such small bowls. The kibbeling portions weren't exactly generous either. Furthermore, all three orders were missing the accompanying dip. The herring roll I had while I waited was tasty, but at €4 it was almost fairground pricing... in the middle of April. CONCLUSION: The price/performance ratio was really poor. Next time I'll go back to Fisch BADE at the market or to the food truck on Thursdays.

A beautiful, peaceful place with very friendly and helpful service. The food is delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's very stylish and tranquil. The staff are incredibly friendly and cheerful. Thank you so much for your kindness. This is the best restaurant I have ever seen!

This restaurant offers delicious dishes, excellent service, and a wonderful welcome. It also boasts extensive expertise in preparing Western foods.

The doner kebabs and lahmacun taste quite good, and the portions are decent enough to fill you up. However, I always have to add more seasoning to the fries. The decor is dated and could use some updating. The prices are still reasonable, but I wouldn't pay more than that.

Small, a bit off the beaten path in Herne's pedestrian zone, but absolutely fantastic! …and SUPER DELICIOUS!!! 😄 The two of us had a 2-burger meal deal with two orders of fries, plus a 12-piece crispy chicken patty (sticks?) and a drink each. The burgers (Black Jack - barbecue with extra bacon and fried onions) were the best I've had in ages. The chicken patties were also really great and big. We also got two large orders of fries (the second one was way too much, otherwise we would have rolled home) and four different dips. You really get a lot for your money, and it tastes so good too! The one-man show behind the counter (kitchen and service) was really polite and friendly. GREAT! Thank you so much. I'll definitely recommend you guys!!!
